GH Courtney Finds Jason With Sam!

Courtney has a conniption this week on General Hospital when she catches Jason with a scantily clad Sam.

"Courtney knows this girl is a scam artist," asserts her portrayer Alicia Leigh Willis.  "She's heard all the stories. She thinks Sam is trying to work Jason.  She warns Jason not to trust her; and then she gives Sam a piece of her mind."

But when Courtney leaves, Sam encourages Jason to go after her.  The estranged couple end up at Kelly's, where they both mull over their final divorce papers.

"Courtney is talking to her dad, venting to him about everything," previews Willis. "He's the only person she has to talk to right now.  Sahe is in the toughest position of her life.  Jason is the man she loves more than anyone else is the world, yet she can’t make peace with what he does.  It's an impossible situation.  Her heart is saying, 'Hold on to him and don't let go." But her head is saying, "You can't be with this person.  He kills people for a living.'"

When Jason wanders in, he and Courtney have a long-overdue heart-to-heart.  "Courtney goes into how much they loved each other and always will, and Jason agrees with her," reveals Willis.  "He finishes her sentence.  Then she admits she's not ready to sign the divorce papers and [suggests] that maybe they don't have to."

Close, but no (Cuban) cigar.  The moment is interrupted when Jason gets a "business" call.  "Courtney wants this marriage, but something has to change," sighs Willis.  "She can't deal with Jason's lifestyle, and he can't give it up.  They have to work out a compromise, and I don't know if they're ready to do that yet."
