GH'S COURTNEY AND JASON WED!

This week GH's Jason and Courtney take a romantic trip to France... and end up tying the knot. "It's about time!" laughs Alicia Leigh Willis (Courtney). "This has been Courtney's dream, and it's finally coming true, despite the problems she and Jason have had."

Problems that have, in fact, strengthened this couple. "Jason and Courtney have been engaged for some time and have been through some huge struggles – struggles that haven't pushed them apart, but organically have brought them closer together," explains Head Writer Charles Pratt Jr. "When you get to the point with couple like Jason and Courtney, you can't imagine them with anybody else. The next logical thing is marriage."

As for the big day, it won't be a traditional walk down the aisle. "Like their relationship, it will be unconventional. Don't expect big, decorated churches," previews Pratt. "These two feel that the best way for them to share their vows is just with each other. But how can you keep Sonny and Carly away once they find out.?" Answer: You don't. They show up to witness the ceremony.

Of course, just because Courtney and Jason say, "I do," doesn't mean they'll be living happily ever after. "Courtney and Jason realize that marriage isn't going to be perfect," shares Willis. "That's what makes this couple real." But how long will happily ever after last? Head Writer Robert Guza Jr. quips "They get married... and then all hell breaks lose!"
