The 2003 Daytime Emmy Award Nominees Alicia Leigh Willis (Courtney, GH) Since you were on set at the View, how did it feel to find out on national television that you'd been nominated? "It was funny, because instead of really listening for myself, I was listening for Erin. We're friends from seeing each other on the lot and I think she's such a sweetheart. We were nervous and joking around backstage. So, I kept waiting to hear her name, because I wasn't really expecting to hear mine. And when I did, I think I was in total shock. I called my parents and they were freaking." Have you been thinking about what you're going to wear? "I'm looking into that right now. I haven't really been looking at dresses yet." Who are you bringing to the show? "My boyfriend and my mom and dad. I just found out that I'm going to be presenting with Tamara [Braun, Carly], too so that's great." Did the nomination surprise you because you haven't been on the show for that long? "Yeah, I was excited that I got nominated by my cast. That was cool enough. I didn't expect it to go any further than that. But I'm glad that it did. I'm pretty excited. Now, I'll always be able to say that I was nominated for an Emmy!" |
