Digest: How has your approach to beauty changed through the years?

Alicia Leigh Willis: "Well, it's funny because I am such a tomboy ... I was even more so in high school. I lived in jeans and t-shirts and I never did my makeup. Since I've been in the business, I've learned how to do my makeup. When I go out, I definitely try to fix myself up."

Digest: Do you get dolled up when you're not working?

Willis: "When, I'm home, I'm in flip flops, no makeup, my hair's up. We get so much done to ourselves at work that it's nice to have a clean face. But of course that's when you run into an old boyfriend." [laughs]

Digest: What's your typical beauty routine?

Willis: "I always wash my face with Dermalogica, and moisturize with something that has SPF in it. When I go out, I put on some sheer powder and blush and maybe a little mascara. I like to keep it really light."

Digest: When do you feel your most beautiful?

Willis: "Probably when I go to a big event and I get a beautiful dress and jewelry loaned to me. It's not the most comfortable, but when you're all ready say for the Emmys - and you're like 'Wow, that's me?' that's it."
