Tough Journey Ahead for GH Pair?

ABC Daytime president Brian Scott Frons, long a champion of General Hospital's Courtney/Jason pairing, weighs in on the prospect of kindly lawman Brian busting up the newlyweds.

The In Depth Story: Fresh from talking to and making note of the reactions at Super Soap Weekend's attendees regarding the latest wrench in the Morgans' new marriage, Frons seems most pleased with his ersatz namesake's early impact on the GH canvas.  "It's good to hear," he smiled.

"Brian is such a nice alternative choice, not just in looks but in values and where he comes from," Frons went on to explain.  That contrast, he says, "makes it an interesting story for Courtney and, obviously, for Jason."

Enough so to even make the newlyweds' longtime fan worried? Pointing out that the Brian factor "still is in its early days," Frons says with a laugh, "I'm still kind of a Journey guy, but let's see what happens!"
