She's Grrreat!

Alicia Leigh Willis of General Hospital on taming tigers, paying
dues, and brushing teeth.

2002 Daytime Emmy Nominee,
Outstanding Younger Actress

Q. One of you first acting jobs was with Tony the Tiger.

A. I had done a few commercials, but Frosted Flakes really got me
started. I was 11 and got picked from 300 other girls. I was a beach
volleyball player and that's what they were looking for.

Q. Did starting so young help you?

A. It's given me confidence. when I first started, I was really
nervous and scared of the directors. Afraid I wouldn't hit my marks
and be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Now I feel so
comfortable - the technical stuff comes naturally. So I can
concentrate on the scene and my character.

Q. How does it feel to be nominated?

A. I feel that all my hard work has paid off. I"ve been working for
ten years and it hasn't been easy. Now it's nice to be recognized.

Q. That's something to smile about. How do you keep your smile so
bright and white?

A. I go for all my checkups. I use the Crest tooth whitening tooth-
paste. And I brush as much as possible. Especially with love scenes,
you have to brush a lot. You don't want to gross out anyone!
