Steve/Alicia's picture is on the cover and it says: Jason and Courtney's forbidden love sets off sparks on the ABC daytime drama "General Hospital" which airs weekdays.

Inside is an article by Candace Havens of Zap2it

It talks about the lack of passion on primetime but Daytime sizzles. Here is what it had to say about Jason and Courtney...

"Some couples, however, sizzle with no help at all from the writers."

"Jason & Courtney never needed a chemistry test," says Bob Guza, co-head writer for ABC's General Hospital." "This was a random progression that we built and prayed there would be chemistry. There were a couple of things built into this that told us this might happen. One, we had two superb actors in Steve & Alicia. Two, is that this is forbidden love. There is a taboo because Jason's best friend and Courtney's brother is Sonny Corinthos. That whole taboo/forbidden love aspect gives it an amped up quality."

"It also gives it the Romeo-and-Juliet setup," adds Guza's co-head writer, Charles Pratt. "What happens is the audience sees them being drawn together and then pulled apart by these huge obstacles; as an audience, we begin pulling for them. When they come into a room and look at each other, we don't have to explain anything. They don't have to talk about their relationship. You just get it and you feel it. There is no need for the spoken word. It can be done with the eyes."
