Jason whisks Courtney off to France, proposes to her again, and then marries her in a whirlwind week on General Hospital. 

"Courtney's in the middle of Carly's baby shower when Jason shows up and says he wants to leave town," previews Alicia Leigh Willis (Courtney).  Although Courtney doesn't want to bail on Carly's party, "she sees how badly Jason wants to do this so she agrees.  Besides, who wouldn’t want to take off for France with a man like Jason?  They're trying to escape everything. Nothing has been going right the last few months."

Once Jason and Courtney arrive in the French countryside, they have "a really romantic evening, just the two of them," recounts Willis.  'They go whine-tasting, have dinner and dance."  And then head for the bedroom.

"They're lying in bed talking," picks up Steve Burton, who plays Jason. "Jason realizes this is the perfect time to get married, so he just asks her."

While Courtney is overjoyed, "she [feels] a little weird, too, because her dad's not there," explains Willis. "But then she realizes that the wedding should just be about the two of them.  Plus, everything seems perfect and they're so in love. What better time to do it than now? It doesn't take Jason too long to convince her. I don't think it would take anybody long in that situation."

Courtney and Jason exchange vows in a romantic outdoor ceremony, complete with a pair of very special guests flown in by Jason for the ceremony for the occasion: Sonny and Carly.  "Courtney can't believe her eyes when she sees them there," says Willis.  "It makes everything that much more perfect."

Burton thinks fans will like it.  "It's not a big drawn-out wedding," he promises.  "It happens pretty quickly, and not many things on soaps happen quickly.  It's simple.  I think they'll be pleased."
