Chapter 2

The Loft

"Hey babe"Jax teased as he walked into the loft that evening and smiled at his fiancee who was sitting on the couch.

Courtney smiled "Hey"

Jax hung his coat up and took a seat next to Courtney on the couch.

"Hon,are you feeling okay?"Jax asked concerned

"Yeah,I'm fine.I just...I ran into Jason on the docks tonight and see thiers this thing from my past and he thinks I'm lieing and maybe I am,but I told him I wasn't,but whatever"Courtney rambled

Jax looked on confused "Court,your worrying me.Whats going on?"

Courtney smiled "Whats going on...I'm marrying you in four weeks and I am so excited that I just can't take it"she lied

Jax smiled "Yeah,I'm psyched too"

'Unbelievable' Courtney thought 'he didn't even tell I was leing,he sure as hell can't read me like Jason.Damn thier I go again thinking about Jason,I have to stop this'

"How about I go pick us up some take-out from Kelly's?"Jax offered

Courtney smiled coming back from her thoughts "Okay and while your gone I'll take a bath"

"On second thought maybe we should just eat here...later,ya know after that hot bath"Jax smirked

Courtney smirked back "Oh thier will be plenty of time later for that,but right now your going to get us food and don't forget my chocolate shake"

Jax smiled "Jeez babe,you get one of those shakes every night"

Courtney smiled "I don't know I just want one"

"Okay,no problem,I'll be back"Jax smiled as he leaned over and kissed her and then headed out the door and to Kelly's.

Courtney got off the couch and headed into the bathroom,looking at the little brown bag sitting on the sink.She opened the bag and pulled out the contents,it was time to do this.

Jason walked into his penthouse to find Sam reading another one of those damn womanhood magazines.He sighed as she placed down her magazine and walked over to him.

"Where have you been all night?"Sam asked

"Just around"Jason answered

Sam's smiled faded "You were with her weren't you?"

"Huh? What"Jason questioned

"Courtney,you were with her.You know you have to stop hanging around her,she is an engaged woman you know"Sam said matter-of-factly knowing how to push his buttons.

"You know what Sam,I was with Courtney and I don't have to justify my reasons to you and maybe she is engaged,but she loves me and always will"Jason said angrily "Now just go to sleep,I need to go out"

"Ugh.."Sam scoffed "Your going back out?"

Jason shook his head and left,not even bothering to explain.

Kelly's

Jax was about to enter Kelly's when he noticed Jason heading his way.He swiftly walked over to him and manuvered him up against the wall.

"Alright Morgan,why is Courtney upset? She said she saw you tonight so what did you do to her or even more what did you say to her?"Jax asked

Jason pushed Jax off him with little effort "Nothing,she's in trouble and I have to figure out how"

Courtney stared at the little two lines on the stick,signaling that the test was indeed positive.

But no matter how much she cried,it was indeed happening.Her life had just been changed forever!
