~Prologue~
"Jason I'm so glad you are home, early." Carly says as she barges into penthouse 2.
"What do you want carly?" Jason asked, he knew Sonny was taking, a pregnant, Carly to the island for a romantic getaway. He has to baby-sit Michael for a whole week. He was looking forward to it.
Michael comes running in before Carly could answer.
“ Jason, Can you please come to school with me this week, its Bring Your Parents to school week and I need you to come, cause mommy and daddy aren’t going to be here."
Jason looked at his nephew, he thought it would be cool being with him at school, and Jason would not be waiting for Michael to come home from school either.
"Okay I'll come but only cause you are my favorite nephew." Jason said as Michael skipped off.
"Carly thank you so much Jason, I have to go finish packing." Carly left Jason in Penthouse 2.
All alone, no one there, he him and himself. It was empty; it had been that way since she left. He was empty, but not only was he empty he was breaking. He had never been this hurt in his whole life, not when Robin ruined Michael’s life, or when she left to go to school. He, like always, didn’t show any feelings on the outside, but on the inside it was dark, hallow, and cold. No one knew how much this was killing him, knowing she left without saying goodbye. Carly surprisingly didn’t know, thank god for Jason.
It was different with Courtney, she could give him everything, loyalty, respect, friendship, support, understanding, warmth, fullness, completeness, compassion, passion, love and most of all she gave him all of herself. That is what he lost when he chose Sonny over her.

Over at PH4
"Hey Courtney its Carly." Carly said as Courtney picked up the phone.
“Hey Carly, is everything okay? What happened? Is the Baby okay? Is it Jason?" Courtney was frantic, Carly sounded so worried.
“No everything is fine, I was wondering what you were doing this week?" Carly asked.
"Ummm...nothing why?" Courtney said.
"great can you fly in and come help me with the baby this week?" carly lied.
"sure I'll be in tonight, I'll call you when I get here and we can meet at the Cellar." Courtney wanted to see carly so much.
"okay bye see you soon." carly said.
"Carly! Wait don't tell Jason that I'm coming in." Courtney stated.
"Okay" carly said.
They both hung up.
Carly dialed another #.
"Morgan." Jason answered.
"hey meet me at the cellar in about an hour."
"Fine I’ll see you in an hour." Jason hung up.

Chapter 1
Jason walked down to the club when he saw a blond standing there.
“Carly make this quick I need to get back to work,” Jason implied
“Jason what re you doing here?” Courtney asked him as she turned around.
“Wait a Minute when did you get back?” Jason started his interrogating.
“Carly called me and told me she needed help with the baby.” Jason stood there in disbelief; Carly set us up while sonny and she were out of town. How low but smart of her. Jason thought but was brought out of his thoughts when Courtney called his name.
“Jason.”
“Um Courtney-Carly and sonny went out of town for the week”
“-But she called me and asked-“
I should’ve known she has some nerve.
“Okay now you have two options, one you can go back or you can stay the week."
"But I don’t have a place to stay.”
“Well here’s another choice, you can stay with Michael and me, go to the loft, or stay in carly and sonny’s penthouse.”
“Wait a minute Jason you want me to stay with you and Michael even after I left without saying goodbye. I can’t believe you are even talking to me.” She looked at him and waited for a response.
“Courtney you left because I pushed you away. I was being loyal and stupid. I wanted to do what was best for everyone else. I never knew how much I loved you until you were gone. I mean Sonny was right a long time ago, he told me ‘You don’t know how much you want something until it’s off limits.’ He’s right you know.” Jason shut up after he saw the desire in her eyes.
“Jason”- she was cut off.
“No let me finish, the night you left, I wanted to tell you something but I didn’t get the chance since you left.”
“Okay,” she wanted to hear what he was going to say.
“I went to the loft after being fired by sonny.”

*~*~*~*~flashback~*~*~*~*~*~*~*(I know u guys said you didn't like this but it was needed sorry if u don’t like it, it is the transcripts from 3-6 and 3-7)

Sonny: Any progress locating the Sam guy?

Jason: Not yet.

Sonny: Oh, damn it! The longer we take, Jason, to find this guy, the longer he has to figure out the lay of the land and hit us where it hurts most. Now, we can't drag our feet. He's a pro. We assume the target is me. If we don't find a lead soon -- I told you already -- we're going to have to send Carly and Michael and Courtney away. Now, in the meantime, I want security tightened, especially at the club. Now, I already talked to Benny, but I need you to follow up because --

Jason: You know, I can't. I can't do this. I just can't do this anymore.
Jason: I just saw Courtney at the cellar, and, Sonny, you know I made the decision not to be with her. I've been calling all the shots. I've been telling her what to do.
Sonny: To keep her safe, Jason.

Jason: But I love her. And I want to be with her, and she wants to be with me.

Sonny: She doesn't know what she's dealing with is what I'm saying, Jason.

Jason: It's not up to you or me to tell her how to live her life, Sonny. You taught me that. When I wanted to break ties with the Quartermaines and they didn't want to let me go, you said it was my choice to decide, that nobody had the right to decide my life, even if their intentions were good. And that's exactly what I've been taking away from Courtney -- her right to decide her own life. And I can't -- I can't do it anymore.

Sonny: Then I guess you have to make a choice.

Sonny: You're my closest friend, my right arm, my brother. I trust you more than anyone. You've never disappointed me until now.

Jason: This isn't about you, sonny.

Sonny: I asked you to protect my sister by staying away from her.

Jason: It's not going to work.

Sonny: It's difficult, it's cruel, but it's necessary. If I can't depend on you to do what's necessary, then I’m -- I'm going to have to redefine the terms.

Jason: What does that mean?

Sonny: If you can't, if you won't stay away from my sister, you can't do your work. You're useless to me. So you're going to have to choose -- my sister or your job.
Jason: I understand that nothing means more to you than loyalty, and I have been loyal to you, and that's why I came here -- to tell you face to face.

Sonny: I'm going to ask you again to stay away from Courtney. If I give you my reasons, will you let this go? Will you concentrate on what's happening now? The shooter we know is in town. Security. Can you get Courtney out of your head?

Jason: I love Courtney, sonny. I can't just turn that off. And I'm sorry that she's your sister, but I can't change that. I can't choose who I fall in love with!

Sonny: Then you're spitting in my face!

Jason: I will always honor my commitment to you, sonny!

Sonny: It's not an honor to drag my sister into a world that's illegal and dangerous!

Jason: What have you done?

Sonny: Oh. You saw what happened to lily. You sat with me. You saved my life. Who saved lily's life? Her only crime was to love me. I will not let that happen to my sister.

Jason: I've kept you safe for a long time. I can protect Courtney.

Sonny: Death always comes back and grabs the people we love, Jason.

Jason: She understands the risk.

Sonny: You keep telling yourself that, but you know it's a lie! And Courtney's going to pay. She thinks it's, like, an honor to die. But I will not let my sister die. So you've made your choice?

Jason: Yes, I have.

Sonny: Then you're fired.
Sonny: You want to be with my sister? You have to get out of the organization.

Jason: Who's going to watch your back? Max? Marco? That's not going to work.

Sonny: It's not your concern.

Jason: The hell it isn't my concern. Sonny, the shooter's probably after you. What's your plan? Who's going to keep you safe?

Sonny: I managed when you left town before. I'll manage again.

Jason: Well, what about Carly and Michael, Sonny? Think. You want to fire me, that's your choice, but now is not the time.

Sonny: You want to work for me and leave my sister alone?

Jason: I can protect both you and Courtney.

Sonny: No, you can't.

Jason: All right, you know what? I'm not going to leave you with no protection.

Sonny: I can protect myself and my family.

Jason: Look, let's just get through this party and then we'll get --

sonny: I don't want you around anymore! Get out!

Jason: You know it doesn't have to be this way.

Sonny: You made your choice.

Jason: No, you made the choice.

Sonny: No, no. My word's not final anymore.

Jason: No, you're going to need my protection right now.

Sonny: No, I'm not! [Jason goes to leave, but stops. Sonny shuts the door in his face]

End of Flashback

Courtney stood there in disbelief. She couldn’t move or talk.
Jason Continued, “I went to the loft to tell you that, when I walked out on you, I know that I hurt you. I mean, I could feel it every time that we saw each other. Even when we didn't, I knew that I was hurting you, and I kept on doing it. And I could say that I’m sorry, but that doesn't take the hurt away and I could explain why, but you already know all the reasons.”
”Ok.” Courtney said.
”I've tried to stop loving you. I mean, I told myself that the hurt will go away. You know, maybe it will. But the love won't. Not now, not ever. I want you back.” He looked at her and saw her eyes start to glass up
“And I understand if you say forget it, because I hurt you too much”.
Courtney ran into his arms and they began kissing. They kept kissing for a while.
They both were so lost in each other that neither of them noticed that Leticia had come down the stairs with Michael.
“Uncle Jason!” Michael started to yell for him. “Aunt Courtney what are you doing back?”
Jason pulled back and kept his arms around her waist.
“Mr. Morgan im so sorry I can bring him back later we didn’t mean to interrupt.” Leticia apologized.
“No that’s okay we’ll take him back to the penthouse with us.”
Jason and Courtney had walked home together with Michael between them.
“Uncle Jason is Aunt Courtney pregnant?” Michael asked.
Courtney laughed aloud.
“No, why would you ask” Jason answered with a smile.
“Because you and Aunt Courtney looked pretty close down in The Cellar, and my mom and do that and my mom is pregnant.”
“Ohh nooo im not pregnant.” Courtney said with a laugh
“Okay but if you do get pregnant, will the baby be my cousin since you and Jason would make the baby?”
“Um- Michael Courtney and I are not making babies.”
It took Jason every once of control not to start laughing.
“But I want a baby sister and my mom is having a baby brother so if Courtney has a girl I can treat her like a sister, right?”
“If I were to have a baby it would be after I was married, Michael.”
Jason looked at Courtney and thought deeply about what Michael was saying, it brought a smile to his face.
“Uncle Jason can you marry Aunt Courtney soon so I can have a little girl to defend?”
“Michael how bout we talk about this upstairs since we are home.”
“Okay you promise?”
“I can’t promise you but maybe Carly or sonny will explain.”
“Okay” Michael said disappointed.
They entered Jason’s Penthouse. Courtney looked around, the place hadn’t changed, at all. It still had the pool table, a couch and a desk. That’s all he ever needed.
“So, buddy what do you want for dinner? Oh don’t forget we have Courtney here to cook real food.” Jason joked
“No can we have pizza?”
“Okay, fine.” Jason laughed.
After dinner Courtney, Michael and Jason sat in the living room and talked.
“Aunt Courtney, where’s Rosie, your dog?” Michael asked.
“Um- Michael sweetie Rosie died of old age.” Courtney was very upset. Jason saw her blink back tears and he got an idea.
“Courtney, do you mind staying here with Michael for a while, I have some business to do?” Jason asked
“Sure,” Courtney smiled.
“Michael has to be in bed at 9:00, and make sure he brushes his teeth.” Jason instructed Courtney.
“Okay, you here that,” She turned and looked at Michael.
Before Jason left he kissed Michael on the forehead.
“Aren’t you going to kiss Aunt Courtney too?” Michael asked.
“Okay, bye.” Jason kissed Courtney on the forehead because they both knew that if they started something now he would have never left. Remember one of the DATING RULES ‘get out while you can.’
Courtney and Michael were playing monopoly, and Michael won. Then at 8:45 she told him to go get ready for bed. He did and she laid on the couch for a minute then went upstairs to tuck Michael in.
“Goodnight Michael,” she kissed him on the cheek.
“Can Uncle Jason read me a story tonight, please?” he practically begged.
“ I don’t think he’ll be home for at least another hour.” She kissed him again, and left the room, and cracked the door.
She went back downstairs and curled up on the couch. She was going to wait up for Jason but failed when she doze off.
Awhile later Jason walked in to the penthouse and saw Courtney curled up like a puppy. He leaned down and decided not to wake her up so he gently kissed her lips. He stopped when he felt her stirring. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled at him.
“What time is it?” she asked.

“It’s late, I’m sorry I shouldn’t have woken you up” he stated and brushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear.
She scooted over so he could join her on the couch. He cuddled with her and put his arms around her waist. They just laid there, it felt like they were in ecstasy. It felt so right, like it was before the accident.
Jason gently kissed her on the lips again, then made his way down her jaw line. He continued his journey by placing sweet kisses down her neck. Then he started down her chest and stopped just before her shirt started. He then lifted up her shirt just below where her bra started and put sweet kisses down her stomach.
She started to remove his shirt and after she succeeded she made a trial of kisses down his neck then proceeded down until she reached his pants-line.
“I don’t want to stop” Jason honestly told her.
“Then don’t.” Courtney replied.

It was early morning and Courtney woke up first, she was in Jason’s arms on the couch. She loved the feeling. She heard a phone ringing and Jason was still asleep so she decided not to wake him and answer it.
C-Hello, Morgan's phone
S-who is this?
C-Omg Sonny
S-yeah that's right
C-ummm.....uhhhhh.......Is this the Hott guy who has lots of money and power, oh what's his name Sonny Corinthos
Courtney said trying to play it off. Jason had woken up already and heard the last sentence.
S- Where is Jason, what have you done with him.
C- Hold on he is right here, Mr. hotty is a little pushy now isn't he.
Jason grabbed the phone from Courtney. Michael came down the stairs by then and started laughing with he saw Jason smiling.
M- Uncle Jason does aunt Courtney make you happy
Jason was still on the phone so Courtney dragged Michael in the other room.
J- Sonny i thought u guyz were on vacation
S- well i wanted to make sure my son was okay.
J-he is fine, he has me and His aunt Courtney
S-what-why is Courtney there with you. I thought i told her to leave and then gave her a million $ and told her not to Come back again.
J- You what?
S-uhhhhhhhh..........
J-you paid her to leave and not come back, i thought u were my friend.
Sonny hung up not knowing what else to say.
Jason found Courtney and Michael playing with Rosie upstairs in the bedroom. Courtney's face had mixed expressions on it.
C-Michael can u let me talk to uncle Jason for a second.
M-yeah sure.
Him and Rosie Left and went downstairs.
C-Jason I have to tell you something,
J- I have to ask you something too
C- me first
J-k
C-ummmmmm..........after i left i stopped taking the Birth control pills and last night we didnt use protection...............
J-ummm......well......
C-if i did conceived last night...uh....will u make me leave again or hate me.......
J-i will never hate you Courtney
C-so u will be a active parent?
J-yes, I will and I think that this is the key.
J- Sonny made u leave once before-
C-he told you.
J-yes and im kinndda glad that he did.
C-im so sorr-
J-don’t apologize for him, anyway if you are.....you know then he cant make you leave, I wont let him.
C- I love you.
J- I love you too.
They hugged.

Monday Morning
M-Okay here’s what is going to happen,
They were enjoying a nice Breakfast at Kelly’s. Jason and Courtney both nodded.
M-First you, well we are going to the office to sign in, so the teachers will have enough chairs set up. Then we have to go to the gym and wait until 9:00, got all that?
C- Yup.
J-yeah, what is your teacher’s name?
M- Oh ummm…….Ms. Scorpio, she’s really pretty.
Jason looked at Courtney and Courtney looked at Jason. Jason was wondering why Robin was Michaels teacher, and when she came back.
C- Michael, what is her first name?
M- oh it’s Claire.
Jason was relieved; he squeezed Courtney’s hand under the table.
J- K it is time to go.
C- I am ready.
M- Good lets go.
They all walked out of Kelly’s and walked to Port Charles Elementary School.
They got to the front office and signed in.
M- Ms. Johnson, this is my Aunt Courtney and My Uncle Jason, my parents are on vacation.
Ms. J- Hi, nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan. Just let me print out these nametags for you.
C- ummmm…..we aren’t-
J- going to have to take any tests are we?
Ms. J- You’ll see.
Courtney was so mad at him for interrupting her. She elbowed him in the chest.
M- lets go
J- you lead the way.
M- well duh
Courtney and Jason stayed behind. Jason handed her, her tag.
C- Mrs. Courtney Morgan.
J- Hey, get used to it Miss Matthews. (he laughed)
C- whatever u say.
M- u guyz r slow.
When they got to the gym, Michael led them to the bleachers.
M- btw the principle’s name is Mrs. Ambridge.
C- so Michael do you have a girlfriend?
M- r u kidding I got a dozen, lets c there’s; Jacquelyn, Jennifer, Colleen, Beth, Angela, Adrianna, Alexandra, Tabitha, Ceria, Mercedes, Tamara and Alicia.
J- wow, that’s a lot.
C- yeah it is.
M- I’m a lady killer.
They all laughed.

9:15am in the classroom
Mrs. Scorpio- Okay well come to PCES, my name is Claire Scorpio, and I am so glad all of the parents showed up.
Well your first assignment is to make a 3-page paper on the history on your family. This only includes, mom, dad and you.
Some ideas you can use are; how your parents met, how they had you, there school years, just a page per person, or any history on your family. You are to finish this in Three hours. Good luck oh and we WILL be presenting these to the whole class.

C- Okay let’s get started.
J- a whole 3 pages
M- that is so stupid.
C- Jason help me here you are suppose to be grown up.
j- Fine, let’s start it.
M- What do u want to do first.
J- Well, Michael has a good history, and so do we.
C- Okay lets do a page a person.
j- But also how we met and all that stuff

Michael's Paper

My Uncle Jason is my dad's Best friend, mom's "voice of reason", my godmother's brother, My aunt's boyfriend and at one time he was my daddy, too.

My Aunt Courtney is my Dad's sister, Mom's Best friend, Ex-wife of my biological daddy, my uncles girlfriend, and the kewl dog lady.

Courtney Matthews came to Port Charles in the year of two-thousand. She had no clue her dad was alive, nor that she had a whole big family. When she found out, she felt cheated by her mother. Her mother Janine lied to her. So when she met her brother and saw her father it was a complete shock.

Jason Morgan suffered a severe car accident and lost all his memory back in 1996. He then befriend my daddy and my mommy, who were not together then. Well, he started dating my mommy for a while. Carly lied to him and left him. A few months later Carly fell in love with AJ, and made me. Carly was scared Aj would want me to be a q heir so she went to Jason for help. He decided to help her. He did not lye and say the baby was his, nor did he deny it. Anyway, carly ran away after having me, and Jason raised me for a year with Robin Scorpio, his girlfriend. Robin went to Yale and Jason still was friends with carly after she came back. Carly had a plan. She married AJ, and moved in to the Q house and then my mom and dad became friends through Jason. Sonny and carly had to b married under extreme circumstances and then Sonny became my father.
Jason met Courtney at Kelly's. They bonded really well. She was Married to Aj and he didn’t like it. When Courtney was in trouble or danger Jason was always there. They became friends. He guarded her and listened to her when she needed it. Aj hurt Courtney and Jason was there, she got a divorce and then began seeing Jason secretly. She makes him happy. They do love each other, very much.
So that's the story of my family. We are very unique.

Monday after presentations,

Mrs. Scorpio was flirting with Jason throughout the whole class. He didn't like it. Neither did Courtney. He kept his attention on Courtney, intertwining his fingers with hers and running his other hand through her hair.
Mrs. Scorpio- okay now you guys are going to have a Fun Quiz. You will be asked to answer 10 questions from 5 different categories, on family fun. the family with the most points in the end, gets a $50 gift certificate out to Olive Garden. Any questions? There was none.
M-okay Jason u read, Courtney write, and ill answer.
j-k
c-that’s fine.
j- okay question # 1, we will start with sports.........what are the only two mlb leagues in NY.
C- i know.
J- so do i
M- duh, my dad's favorite, the Yankees.
C-yup.
M- and the other one is the worst baseball team in history other than the Braves, the Mets.
J- boy u are your fathers son.
c- haha!
J-next question, let's do Movies...k...Who is the Villain in Cinderella?........I am so glad you are answering these.
C- why
J- i never saw it.
C-u never saw Cinderella?
j- No
C-u will if I live with you Morgan.
M- The answer is her step mother and step sisters.(he yelled)
J- okay.
C- i knew that.
J- okay ummmmm.......Rainy day, i guess......k, how many types of suits are in a card deck.
C- i no this one too.
M- 4 duh.
J- yup.
C- we are doing good.

C-almost done.
J-yup....k Michael name all the kids on 7th heaven.
C-oh that is my favorite show next to GH.
J-i cant believe you watch that soap opera crap, oh yeah and it has character with the same names as some of us. or should i say all of us, oh i love u, i hate u, im sleeping with my brother, or sister, or distant relative, or im pregnant.
C- shut up, stop mocking it, think about your life before you make fun of it.
M- i dont know the characters of 7th heaven.
c- i do, there is Lucy, Ruthie, Mary, Simon, Michael, Matthew, and matt. that’s the kids.
J- it says name the kids on 7th heaven.

C-k
J-next, what was it like holding you for the first time, in the hospital.
C- i wasn’t there.
J- i was.
M- you were there with my mommy.
j- yup i watched carly hold you and for the first time i cared about something other than my job, i loved you since the first time i saw u, Michael.
C- Jason did u hold him,
j- not in the hospital.
J- i cant wait to have kids with you.
C- wh-
J- i dont know where that came from.
C- i cannt wait to have kids either........with you.
j-(mouthed i love you to Courtney) She smiled.
M- k we are done.
C-yup
J- lets go turn it in.
C- i will u stay here,(she said pointing to Jason.)
j- k

C- we finished.
Mrs. S- oh Mrs. Matthews, thank you.
C- yeah.
Mrs. Scorpio stared at Jason.
C- he's taken
Mrs. S- huh?
C- he's sleeping with me, his best friend's sister, keep your hands and your eyes off him.
Mrs. S- well, sorry, i just-
C- i dont care what u were doing, u stay away from him.

Jason watched the two of them. He looked at the door and saw Sammy Tagliotti in the doorway watching Courtney.

This is very short but its fair enough, Katielynn you are going to hate me!!!! LOL! I'll update tomorrow.

Tagoltti grabbed Courtney from behind her and she knew it wasn’t Jason. She tried to scream but his hand cuffed her mouth.
Jason told Michael to stay sitting and he'd be right back. He watched the scene in front of him. Sammi gave Jason a sign to follow them. So he did.
T-Walk to the hall quietly.
Courtney did what he told her. Sammi pushed her up against the wall and waited for Jason.
Jason came out he looked at a terrified Courtney. His eyes gave her a reassuring look.
J-what do u want, Sammi.
S-i was sent here by someone, its a message Morgan.
J-who sent you?
s-Im not in a position to say.
Jason threw him against the wall and pulled out his gun. Courtney watched the scene and was scared that Jason would kill him. No one noticed the little red head boy watching by the classroom door.
J- now you are in a position to tell me.
S- Jason u know that you wont shoot me in front of little miss over there.
Sammi said pointing to Courtney. She looked into Jason's eyes, and gave him an its okay look.
J- Wanna bet???
Michael came running out of his position, under the doorframe.
"Uncle Jason DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
*Gun Shot*

Okay just to clear things up, Sammi isn't really a bad guy, I luv him too!!!! I will update tonight or tomorrow.

Okay I have gotten virtual threats from numerous people, telling me to update tonight, well I am going to, I have a babysitting job until 10, so I might not be able to update until 10:30. I gave you some spoilers on the last post, and they all hold true. This is a very sad chapter for those who like the relationship that many friendships hold, one is Jason and Sonny, and another is Michael and Jason. Two friendships get stronger, Carly and Jason, and the friendship between Carly and Sonny. I am still working on if Journey will make or break, but it is a heartbreaking chapter for Michael fans. Just to warn you, I am putting a lot of thought into this chapter, and I want to make it the best chapter so far. There wont be any jokes, or humor in it, sorry…...I will make the following chapter happier….I promise.

I want to make a note that the other people are out on recess.
“Uncle Jason don’t,” Michael screamed as he ran and latched on to his uncle’s leg, Jason turned toward him and the gun went off.
Courtney was so confused. Her shirt was soaked. Everything was spinning. She felt a piercing pain go through her body, it wasn’t isolated it was everywhere. Courtney- Did Sonny send you? Because you don't strike me as the strip club type.

Courtney: I know it's not your fault. I know that you would have done anything for him, but I have been wanting to go to sonny and thank him, but, god, I yelled at him for sending you to look after me. Courtney: I loved the idea of a.J., You know, the man he pretended to be. I'm not sure that I ever really did love him. You know, I loved the things that he said to me and the look in his eyes when he said them, and I -- i felt guilty because even when I was convinced that a.J. and I were going to be together forever, I was attracted to you. And I thought about that kiss in the rain all the time.

Courtney: The thing is, is i want to be with you. I do. I just -- I don't want to feel like i'm -- like i'm making a mistake or going too fast.
Because when i'm with you, I'm fine. You know? It's just when you leave, I have -- I have all these huge questions in my head, you know, wondering if -- if i said something wrong or -- or if I'm being too clingy or if i -- if i don't say enough about what i feel for you. Courtney: Yes he can Jason, by hurting you, and that’s what AJ is all about. If AJ gets evidence that you and I are together, he can expose you and Brenda, which, that would mean that she can testify against you and if that’s going to save her from going to prison, whose to say that she won’t?

Courtney: I shouldn't need to hear you say that, but I do. I can see it in your eyes. I can sense it when we're in a room together.

Courtney: Ok, stay with me. Come on. We'll sail around the island, we'll sleep on the boat, and we'll -- we'll lay on the deck and we'll look up at the sky and we'll watch the stars and and I'll just fall asleep in your arms while you read to me. Ok?

Courtney: Oh. Anything. I don't care. I just like to be read to. And I love the sound of your voice. How are you doing? Ok?

Courtney: Ok, well -- oh, Jason, but you have to hang on. You have to hang on, ok? I love you.

Courtney: It does matter, Jason. You love me, and now you're so determined to end what we have. But you know what? In a day or maybe even a week, it is going to come crashing in on you, and you are going to feel the pain and the loss and wonder if it could possibly be worth it.

Courtney: So, what, you think it's better to just stay with carly and keep breaking her heart over and over again? Why don't you just admit, sonny, that love is just a word to you? You don't feel it. That's why it was so easy for you to take it away from jason and me.

Michael had just witnessed his aunt being shot by his uncle. Things went through his mind…..He just shot her…he hurt aunt Courtney…..Aunt Courtney’s dying. Then his head was playing 20 questions….Why would he hurt Aunt Courtney? Dosen’t he love her? Why does he have a gun? Is Aunt Courtney dying? The little boy was so lost. His eyes gleamed of fear.

The paramedics took Courtney away and Jason said he’d follow with Michael. One problem, Michael wouldn’t come.
“Michael come on, I don’t have time for this.” Jason said, he wasn’t thinking straight.
“Why did you hurt Aunt Courtney?” Michael asked.
“It was an accident Michael, you distracted me.” Jason said not thinking at all.
Michael ran away from Jason and Jason didn’t know what to do anymore. He took out his cell phone and called Sonny.
“Sonny it’s me I need you and Carly to get on the next flight to Pc.” Jason said then hung up, not even wanting to fight.
Jason called Bobbie and told her what happened with Michael, but didn’t tell her that he yelled at him, and Bobbie said she had him, and he was hysterical.

Michael what happened that mad you run away from Uncle Jason?” Bobbie asked, with Michael in her lap.
“He yelled at me and said that it was my fault he shot Courtney, he doesn’t love me, he hates me, he’s mad at me.” Michael said still crying, “I’m sorry, Grandma r u mad at me too?”
“No sweetie no one is mad at anyone, how about I take you over to the hospital and you can talk to Jason?” Bobbie asked.
“I don’t want to see Uncle Jason, I promise you he is mad at me.” Michael said.

Jason was as drunk as a skunk, he let the alcohol consume his pain. While it slowly consumed him as well. He didn’t want to see Courtney, she most likely hates him. He took drink after drink. His life was no longer worth living for. His Best friend and brother betrayed him, he shot the love of his life, his nephew hates him and is terrified of him, his life is a shame. He was on the edge, ready to snap………………

Okay this is the epilogue, don’t panic there is a sequel which will be out later today. I hope you have enjoyed this fic. It is my favorite of my fics, but the title doesn’t fit the plot any more. So I'm making a sequel thanks to Katielynn. It is A Man Apart, I got the idea from a movie that I saw a preview for. The movie looks good, I just can't c it cause it is not showing around me. So here's the last chapter, please feed, and happy reading. Oh BTW I'm breaking a promise, this is not a happy chapter, sorry.

The next day..........
Jason woke up in an unfamiliar place, he didn't know where he was, he looked around and saw that he was in a room with bars, it was a jail cell. He heard footsteps coming.
"Morgan you have been charged with assault involving a weapon, how do plead?" The judge asked him(I have no clue how this works so i made up my own way, lol.)
"Guilty, your honor" Jason replied with a gleam of sadness in his eyes.
"You are sentenced to three years in prison, then you will be on probation for 6 months," the judge concluded.
He left Jason with his thoughts, what thoughts he couldn't think?

~*~*General Hospital
"Ms. Matthews you have a visitor." The nurse said.
Carly and Sonny walked in with Michael in Carly's arms.
"Hey Hun how are you feeling?" Carly asked, she was pale and looked like something bad happened.
"Fine, How's Jason?" she asked.
"Courtney he was found at Jakes, he was drunk and they arrested him, he pleaded guilty this morning." Sonny told her. He felt bad for pushing her and Jason apart.
Courtney started to get out of bed.
"Where are you going?" Sonny and carly asked at the same time.
"Going to see him, he needs me." Courtney said on the verge of tears.
"No, u can't go see him, you have a restraining order-" Sonny told her.
"What?" Courtney screamed.
"Baldwin put up a restraining order against him for you, and Michael." Sonny said.
"and you r going to let him? U r so sick, I want you outta here now!!!! Both of you." she screamed.
Carly looked at her and she nodded, she left and pulled Sonny with her.
A few mins. later Someone else appeared in the doorway. It was Jasper Jax.
"How are you?" Jax asked.
"Fine, can you do me a favor?" Courtney asked.
"Yeah, what?" Jax asked.
“you know Sonny hates you right?" he nodded, "well marry me and then you can hurt sonny for hurting me and Jason." Courtney said.
"You want me to marry you to get to Sonny?" Jason said
"Yeah"
"Fine but I'm not doing this cause he hurt Jason, but because you are my friend." jax said.
