Chapter Forty-Six

Courtney then tore out the Lodge and ran after Jason. She ran into the woods and all over but couldn't find him anywhere. Crying, she went back to her cabin and waited for uneasy sleep to overcome her.

------------------------------------------------------------

Jason was torn apart. Courtney would be crushed at the end of the summer when things had to end and Jason didn't know what he could do about it.

Everyone went to bed quickly that night except Jason. Slipping a pair of sandals on, he went over to Courtney's cabin. He knew he could always talk to Courtney when he was in a jam and she would never remember her own advice.

Jason silently entered Courtney's dark cabin. He walked over to her bed. She was sprawled out and moving every couple of seconds. Something was irritating her and it was showing in her sleep.

She murmured in her sleep, "Stupid! I hate it all! Jason! Why Jason? Why did you run?"

Jason went over to Courtney, "It's okay Courtney."

"No it isn't! You ran out tonight. What about us?"

"That was my question. What will happen at the end of summer?"

"The summer isn't over yet. I love you so much..."

"Do you know that when you're awake?"

"What are you talking about? I am awake!"

Jason chuckled to himself as the sleeping Courtney became indignant. Slowly, Jason's chuckles turned to tears as he realized how much he was going to miss Courtney. He didn't know what to do and it was obvious Courtney didn't either.

Even so, Jason couldn't bring himself to leave Courtney's side. He loved her with all his heart and wouldn't know what to do if anything ever happened to her. Sitting next to her, Jason watched her sleep for hours.

Eventually Jason looked at his watch and realized the time. Sighing, Jason leaned over and kissed Courtney on the cheek, thinking it would be the last time he could do that. Before he left, he caressed her hair one last time and didn't notice when his silver chain fell into her hair.

After returning to his cabin, Jason lied awake until the sun began to rise. When he finally decided what he was going to do. He couldn't break Courtney's heart at the end of camp. It would break her heart and that was the last thing Jason wanted for his love.

------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning, Courtney awoke in a pool of her own tears. Getting up, she felt a tug in her hair as something fell out of it. It fell onto her pillow and glistened in the sunlight. Picking it up, Courtney recognized it as Jason’s.

Putting it in her pocket, she went to breakfast. It was humid and overcast outside. Jason stayed away from her during the meal so Courtney found him afterward.

"Jason, I want to return this." Courtney then reached into her pocket and extended her hand with Jason's chain in it. Jason didn't say anything as he picked it up, careful not to touch Courtney, and put it back onto his wrist.

"I see I had a late night visitor again," Courtney said, getting irritated that Jason was still acting weird. Jason stroked his face, waiting for the right words to come. The only words his head was telling him to say was 'I love you' but Jason couldn't bring himself to say them.

"Court, I think we should stop seeing each other."

"WHAT?"

"I said, I think we should stop seeing each other."

"Why are you doing this? Is it because of what A.J. said about us when camp ends?"

"Trust my decisions. Please Courtney, do that for me."

"Oh is this how you deal with everything? You just shut your emotions, turn your back, and break everything off? Let me guess, that is the neatest way to do it, right?"

"You know how I feel about you but I think this is for the best."

At this, Courtney exploded, "THE BEST FOR WHO? GOD, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I HATE YOU RIGHT NOW!" Courtney then stormed off.

"And you have no idea how much I love you," Jason whispered after her. He knew this was going to be hard but had no idea it was going to be this difficult. Seeing the crushed look on her face made it at least twenty times worse.

------------------------------------------------------------

While Jason stayed inside his cabin the whole day, Courtney decided to put up a strong front and go to dinner. She hadn't eaten that much at breakfast and hadn't eaten lunch at all so any food was welcome by her.

Courtney inhaled all the food that was around her. She was too depressed to even think about what she was eating. Liz tested this and put orange juice in her soup. When Courtney didn't notice, Liz felt as though her day had been made because Jason was free.

A.J. noticed what Liz did and smirked to himself with the knowledge that his comment had all the desired impact plus some. After dinner, he went up to Courtney and put on his best sympathetic face he could come up with through all his joy.

"Hey Courtney. Look, I'm sorry about what happened with Jason."

"You lying son of a bitch, it's your fault."

Ignoring Courtney's response, A.J. went on, "Well, I just want you to know I am there for you and that if you're interested, I'm available."

"A.J., I'm only going to say this once more. My patience has run dry with you. I wouldn't go out with you if you were the last guy alive and we needed to mate in order to save mankind!"

Courtney then left A.J. standing alone. That night, the oldest boys were taking an evening paddle. A.J. had no intention of going though. When the time came, everyone left and no one even noticed he was gone. After all, who would miss him?

He returned to an empty cabin. Not even Jason was there which confused A.J. because he was sure Jason wouldn't have gone on the silly paddle. Shrugging the thought of Jason away, his thoughts fell onto Courtney.

Try as he might, she just didn't want him. Feeling horrible, A.J. went over to his cubby. Reaching to the back, he pulled out his secret stash of liquor he had brought up to Camp Everwood.

------------------------------------------------------------

Jason sat on the dock. His and Courtney's dock. That thought kept echoing in his mind as he sat alone. He needed some alone time and for some reason, he just couldn't stand to be in the cabin.

------------------------------------------------------------

Carly went over to Courtney's bed. Courtney was just sitting on it and giving a catatonic stare off into space.

"Earth to Courtney. Earth to Courtney."

"Huh? What? Oh, Carly."

"Yeah, that is why I thought you could use some fun."

"What?"

"Tonight is 80's night in the oldest girls section. Why don't you join in the fun?"

"Oh, Carly. I miss Jason so much. I just want to be with him."

"I know honey but you can't dwell on it. Just for tonight, try to have to fun. Do that for me okay? Just letting you know, 'no' isn't an answer."

Courtney smiled as Carly then helped her get ready. Courtney had fun cutting up an old shirt to make it wide neck and finding bright colored clothes. In the end, she wore the gray sweatshirt she had extended the next of and tied the bottom of it into a knot of her right. She then cuffed her jeans in the classic 80's style, wore different colored socks, put on way too much blue eye shadow, and put her hair into a high ponytail off to her left.

She had fun that night. Well, she almost did. Everyone did activities revolving around the 80's and ran around in the 80's style run like idiots. Courtney even won an award for best 80's run. Being cheered on by her cabin mates, she did a victory lap for winning the award, her legs and arms swinging wide.

Still, no amount of fun could get her mind off of Jason. She loved him so much and felt horrible for telling him she hated him. After the evening was done, Courtney decided to return to her cabin while everyone else went to snack. She had no idea the what the impact of this decision would be.

When she entered the cabin, she could immediately feel something was wrong. After she shut the door, A.J. appeared out of nowhere and pinned Courtney up against the door. Courtney thought he smelled funny but couldn't put her finger on what it was.

"A.J., what are you doing here."

"You didn't want me and now look what I've become. Please give me a chance!"

"Never," Courtney said in an ice-cold voice.

A.J. then kissed her hard. Courtney could now fully recognize what she had smelled on him. It was liquor. A.J. was dangerous.

Gagging, Courtney tried to step back. A.J. continued talking in a drunken slur, "Give me a chance. I'm tired, you? How about we give it a try in bed?"

Courtney shivered as A.J. stroked her arm. She had managed to get unpinned but was still trapped by A.J.

Trying to remain calm, Courtney said, "A.J., you're drunk. You need to get help."

"BULLSHIT YOU LITTLE BITCH!" A.J. then slapped Courtney full across the face. In a drunken rage, he also shoved her to the floor. As Courtney fell, her head hit a bed, causing her to go unconscious. Feeling angry as all hell, A.J. kicked Courtney's limp form before storming out of the cabin. With his nerves at the breaking point, A.J. felt like a late night swim was just the thing he needed to calm him down.

------------------------------------------------------------

Jason left the dock. He was returning to his cabin when Carly found him.

"Jason, I think you need to see Courtney. She really misses you."

"I can't."

"Will you please just come with me? If you can look her in and me in the eyes and say you don't want to be with her, I'll leave you alone."

Jason didn't respond but followed Carly to Courtney's cabin. When they arrived there, they found Courtney on the ground and not moving.

Jason ran to her side. She was still breathing but had a red mark across her face. Someone had been beating her up. Slowly, Courtney was able to open her eyes.

"My head," she moaned.

"It's okay baby, I'm here," Jason said.

Courtney looked into Jason's eyes and felt herself being lifted into his arms.

"Did A.J. do this," Carly asked.

"Yes but it's worse than you think-"

"DID HE RAPE YOU," Jason bellowed.

"Not at all. He's drunk off his ass."

Carly then made sure Jason and Courtney were at the Med Center before dealing with the A.J. problem.

After telling the appropriate people, the whole camp was gathered up. When A.J. couldn't be found anyway, a camp-wide search began.

------------------------------------------------------------

Jason looked down and Courtney. She was squinting and holding her head. The ringing bells signaling the camp search startled and confused her.

"It's okay. No one is going to hurt you. I'm here," Jason said as he leaned down to kiss Courtney.

"I've been thinking about what you said earlier," Courtney started.

------------------------------------------------------------

The whole staff were out searching for A.J. Running around like chickens with their heads cut off, none of them could find A.J. Carly had dock duty and stopped just short of the dock when she reached it.

There was a floating body in the middle of the swimming area.

Chapter Forty-Seven

"What about what I said earlier," Jason asked.

"I think it is a load of bull about how we can't be together."

"I'm sorry but we can't then why are you here?" Jason couldn't answer this question in any way to support his argument.

Instead he said, "It is bound to happen sooner or later and I wanted to get it over with."

"Why? I am that horrible that I sent you running for the nearest exit?"

"No Courtney, just the opposite. I care for you so much. So much in fact, that I wanted to break our bond before it grows even stronger. It has to end sometime..."

"So you thought you would break it off with me before you really start caring?"

That really stung Jason because he really did care about her so he said sharply, "Well, do you have any better ideas?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact I do. It is called living life to the fullest possible extent. This reminds me of something Jess told me. She said she practically comes up to camp just to kayak and that everyone exists here at Camp Everwood for some reason. For people Jess it is kayaking, for Liz and her friends it is gawking at the nearest guy, but for me it is being with you. You are the best thing that has happened to me in a really long time, Jason."

Just then the ringing bells startled them once again. Whatever was going on outside, it was obviously a big deal.

------------------------------------------------------------

Carly froze when she reached the dock. The body in the lake was recognizable as A.J. even in the dark. As much as she hated A.J., the site of him floating seemed impossible. Then it hit her; she needed to save A.J.

Running to the dock, she realized no one else was around. All the other staff were searching the dark woods surrounding the camp. Seeing A.J. was definitly knocked out, she immediately dove into the water.

Reaching A.J., Carly flipped him over and brought him to the nearest side of the dock. Holding his arms, she got up then pulled his heavy body out after her. Lying him down on the dock, she picked up an air horn and sounded it for the whole camp to know she found him.

Hovering over A.J., Carly could she he wasn't breathing. She cringed at what she was about to do but knew it was necessary as she began to give him mouth to mouth. Checking is pulse, Carly was relieved to find it still going.

"Come on A.J., wake up. WAKE UP," Carly pleaded. "God I hate you," she then added under her breath.

She kept giving the mouth to mouth and could taste the liquor and saw Courtney was right when she said A.J. had really gotten himself drunk. Suddenly, A.J. began coughing as he came back to life.

By this time, a crowd had gathered. The staff members around her took over as they put A.J. on a stretcher and carried him to the Med Center.

------------------------------------------------------------

"What was that," Jason asked frantically as he heard the air horn go off.

"Something is seriously wrong," observed Courtney.

"Better him than you." Courtney and Jason then waited in silence to wait to see if they could get a clue what was going on.

All of a sudden, a group of people entered the Med Center carrying A.J. on a stretcher. Jason and Courtney gave the Med staff space but watched A.J. from the distance.

A.J. looked up as the doctors were checking him for injuries. They then asked him a bunch of questions about what he had been doing, thinking, and feeling. After that, they told him to lie back and relax while they watched to make sure he didn't have secondary drowning problems.

Courtney asked one of the nurses if she could go. The nurse was so busy she just shrugged Courtney away. Anger exploded within A.J. as he watched Jason steer Courtney out of the Med Center.

On most night Jason would have taken advantage of being left alone with Courtney but tonight was different. He walked Courtney back to her cabin in silence. They were both shocked at the night's events.

Courtney turned around and faced Jason, "Jason, make me a promise."

"What's that?"

"That we'll use the remainder of our time here at Everwood to its fullest. I want to be with you every moment I can."

"It's a deal."

------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning A.J. woke up in the Med Center with a huge headache. Feeling hung over, A.J. remember what happened the night before and groaned. A nurse saw him wake and left the room. The owner of Camp Everwood then entered.

"Good morning A.J. You gave us quite a scare last night."

"Are you going to send me home?"

Note: I knew what I was doing with A.J. before I asked all of you. I'm glad we see eye to eye.

Chapter Forty-Eight

"I'm sorry A.J. but I feel as though I have no other choice. You aren't safe a Camp Everwood anymore. You proved that last night when you snuck off, got drunk, beat up Courtney, and decided to go for a swim. You are a danger to yourself and those around you."

"When do I have to leave?"

"It is 9:00 in the morning right now. Once you are feeling better, return to your cabin to pack. Your grandfather will be here after lunch to take you back to the city."

A.J. groaned after hearing that his grandfather would be picking him up. Over the night, all this problems had multiplied by at least a hundred fold. Now he could never get Courtney.

Courtney. What happened to her? A.J. remember something about her falling and hitting her head. It was his fault.

"How is Courtney doing?"

"Luckily you didn't do too much damage to that poor girl. She was really traumatized last night but left the Med Center with Jason. I think you owe her an apology."

A.J. chuckled at this. She had left with Jason. While it wasn't like him to be concerned about the people he hurt, Courtney was somehow different. He really did care about her in some strange way even if he didn't always show it. It was just when he was near her something about her drove him wild. Heck, just the thought of her drove him wild but rage built again when he heard about Jason.

"It is really too bad everything had to turn out like this A.J. You were going to be a Color War captain in a week or two if it hadn't been for this incident but camp rules are camp rules and you put yourself in danger. It really is a shame." With that, the camp owner left A.J. to his thoughts and headaches.

------------------------------------------------------------

Courtney had gotten the morning off from all activities as a result of the previous night. Jason was off at canoeing so Courtney found herself alone. Getting bored, she decided to stop by Jason's cabin even if he wasn't there.

When she arrived to the cabin, it was empty. Sighing, Courtney spread out on Jason's bed. Slowly, she began to drift asleep until she heard someone enter the cabin.

"Jason," she called out.

"No, it isn't you wonderful lover boy. It is me, A.J., your second pickings."

"A.J., what are you doing here?"

"Well, it is my cabin but not for much longer. I'm being sent home."

"You deserve to be."

"Get out of here Courtney. You have done me nothing but harm."

"No, you have done yourself nothing but harm."

"Whatever."

Courtney sat on Jason's bed and let the facts about what was going to happen to A.J. really sink in. Feeling pity, she asked, "Do you want me to help you pack?"

A.J. was desperate to use any excuse to spend his last morning with Courtney so he responded by taking his duffel bags off the top of his cubby and tossing one to Courtney.

They were packing in silence. Courtney was beginning to see a different side to A.J. He was just a hurt and confused person who did desperate things. Eventually A.J. stopped handing Courtney stuff out of his cubby as he started to start with the other duffel bag. Courtney reached into A.J.'s cubby and froze when she pulled out a box of condoms.

A.J. saw Courtney pull out his box of condoms and he walked over to her.

"What are you doing with these A.J.?"

"I brought them with me to camp just in case," A.J. said lying through his teeth.

"No, that's not the truth and we both know it."

At Courtney's doubt to his lies, A.J. turned back into his horrible self, "I really didn't but we could quickly use them before we pack. My bedding is still intact if you want to have a go at it."

"Ha ha. Very funny A.J."

"I was serious."

"Well in that case your answer is no."

A.J. then lost it. If this was going to be his last day at Camp Everwood, at least he could do whatever he wanted without getting in worse trouble seeing as it was as bad as it could be for him. Pushing Courtney onto the bed, he started to kiss her as she squirmed underneath him.

Just then, Jason, Sonny, and Carly all walked in on this scene. Taking advantage of A.J.'s surprise, Courtney slid out from underneath him and attempted to regain her composure. Jason went over to her and put his arm around her waist. Courtney saw it as a gesture of comfort but all A.J. saw it as was a gesture of marking territory.

Picking up the fallen box of condoms, he threw it at Courtney's head. His aim missed but he said, "Take these. Consider them my gift to you. Jason only wants one thing anyway and this will at least make it safer but don't say I didn't warn you!"

Carly walked over, "Let's go you two. A.J. is leaving soon anyway."

Courtney looked up at Jason with a look that made A.J. sick to his stomach.

------------------------------------------------------------

Carly was outraged that A.J. had gotten away with all that he had. While some may have though being kicked out of camp was bad enough for what he did, Carly didn't. She had it all planned out for that day at lunch.

Just as everyone started eating, Carly got on the loudspeaker system.

"Excuse me everyone but I have an announcement to make. This song is dedicated to A.J. Quatermaine who is leaving after lunch today. We hope to say farewell to him with this song. You'll get the gist of my message by it if you know this person at all."

Then, "Price to Play" by Staind was blasted through the speakers.

We fail to see
How destructive we can be
Taking without giving back
'Til the damage can be seen
Can you see?
Can you see?

The more you take
The more you blame
But everything still feels the same
The more you hurt, the more you strain
The price you pay to play the game
And all you seek, and all you gain
And all you step on with no shame
There are no rules, no one to blame
The price to play the game

Apathy, the chosen way to be
You blindly look the other way
While you waste away with me
Can you see?
Can you see?

The more you take
The more you blame
But everything still feels the same
The more you hurt, the more you strain
The price you pay to play the game
And all you seek, and all you gain
And all you step on with no shame
There are no rules, no one to blame
The price to play the game

What you pay to play the game
What you pay to play the game
What you pay to play the game
What you pay to play the game

The more you take
The more you blame
But everything still feels the same
The more you hurt, the more you strain
The price you pay to play the game
And all you seek, and all you gain
And all you step on with no shame
There are no rules, no one to blame
The price to play the game

What you pay to play the game
What you pay to play the game
What you pay to play the game
What you pay to play the game

The song ended and the Lodge remained silent. A.J.'s last meal had been ruined by humiliation. He didn't know how it could get worse until but it did.

A few minutes later a hum overtook the Lodge. It was the Quartermaine jet landing in front of the Lodge. After it landed, a grumpy looking gray-haired man stepped out of it.

Note: My time crunch to finish is getting tighter and tighter... Less than three weeks left... Anyway, I am issuing a smut warning ahead. Read at your own risk.

Chapter Forty-Nine

Edward Quatermaine walked off the jet in a rage. The flies were bothering him to no end.

He walked right up to A.J. and started screaming, "You are an embarrassment to the family! Get in that plane NOW."

A.J. shrunk back. The whole camp had gathered around and was are all listening in. He mumbled, "Um, I need to get my bags."

"Right. Why are you always such a pain in the ass? Why can't you be more like Jason? I'm going to talk with the owner of this dump." A staff member walked by and Edward whistled to him. "Hey you, go get my grandson's stuff."

Edward then went to the camp owner. Seeing the show was over, most of the campers left. Courtney and Jason stood watching all of this happen but couldn't believe it.

A.J. walked over to them and said to Courtney, "Bitch."

Jason gave A.J. a death stare and Courtney said, "Well A.J., resorting to childish names now are we? I guess you are now learing the 'Price to Play' as Carly so nicely put it. You deserve this."

"I don't deserve this, Jason does. He is the bad guy here. Can't you see that?"

"A.J., you spread more bullshit than a Mexican farmer."

"Not only are you a bitch, but you are seriously @#%$ up the ass. At least I'm not in a relationship going by the clock. If I'm right, it should be ending in ten days, eleven hours, and thirty-eight minutes. Okay, so the math was a guess but I'm close. Have a great rest of the summer, losers!"

Courtney and Jason watched as the person they hated the most got on a jet. Edward eventually returned and they took off. Just before A.J. lost sight of Courtney, she smiled right at A.J. and flicked him off.

"He's gone," Jason stated simply.

"Yeah and I don't think I couldn't be happier."

"I disagree." Jason was being mysterious and Courtney didn't know whether to love it or hate it.

"Why is that?"

"If we can get out of evening activity tonight I'll tell you." Courtney then playfully slapped him before they set off to find Sonny and Carly.

"Hey Carly and Sonny," Courtney called out.

Carly and Sonny looked up and they met up.

Courtney, feeling nervous at asking a big favor, talked really fast, "Um, Carly, Sonny, I have a favor to ask of you. Can Jason and I skip out on evening activity tonight?"

Carly picked up on something and said, "Now why would you want to do that?"

Jason then started fake coughing. "He's really sick," Courtney lied.

"If he is sick, shouldn't he be at the Med Center," Sonny asked.

Carly was near tears laughing, "Oh Sonny, don't be so clueless. ANYONE can see he is faking it. Those were the worst coughs I have seen. At least you could have faked being dizzy or something."

Jason stopped 'coughing' and asked, "So, can we?"

Carly responded, "Of course, we were just pulling your chain. Have fun."

Jason then pulled Courtney quickly aside and whispered in her ear, "Let's get away."

"Our dock?"

"Where else?"

Courtney started giggling uncontrollably as they ran up the path to her and Jason's dock.

She asked, "So what was it you were telling me before?"

"That I agree with A.J."

"Not this again! I thought we agreed-"

"Courtney, it isn't that. I agree that you are seriously @#%$ up the ass."

"What?"

"You heard me. I think you are seriously @#%$ up the ass," Jason said hoarsly.

"No I'm not," Courtney shouted indignantly.

"Fine, but you will be soon."

"Jason Quatermaine, are you saying what I think you're saying."

Jason then pulled Courtney into a hard kiss and soon let his hands roam freely. He then said, "And what if I am?" Pulling Courtney even closer, he took his hands off her sides and unbuttoned the top button to Courtney's shorts.

"I am thinking that my previously tame boyfriend is turning into a wild beast. I've never seen this side of you before Jason."

Jason moaned in as a response before kissing her again. Testing Courtney, he unzipped her shorts. When she didn't fight back or push away, Jason wrapped his finger around the belt loops to Courtney's shorts before yanking them to the ground.

Finally speaking, Jason asked, "And what do you think of it?"

Courtney pulled away. Taking her shirt off, she dropped it on the dock and answered, "I think I'm liking every moment of it."

"Good." Jason then gave Courtney a hug and undid her bra. Sliding the straps over her shoulders, he took it off and dropped it next to her shirt and shorts. Courtney now stood in nothing but a pair of lace panties.

Blushing at the wanting look in Jason's eyes, Courtney looked away from Jason. He was staring right at her. She attempted to cover herself with her hands but Jason pulled her arms away.

"Um Jason, I feel really naked."

"You're not though." Smiling at Courtney's modesty, he grabbed her panties and slowly started to pull them down. Courtney stood in shock as Jason let her panties fall down inch by inch. Soon she was completely exposed as her panties fell from her knees to her ankles. "Now you're naked," Jason added.

Courtney stood face to face with Jason, looked him in the eyes, then looked away. She really had never seen this side to him before. His eyes had a maddening hunger in them. He was like an animal and was totally dominating the night. The odd part was how gentle Jason was being in his aggressiveness. That was what really turned Courtney on.

Jason stood admiring Courtney's naked form. Wanting more, he put his hands on the warm flesh of her thigh. Feeling her quiver underneath his touch, Jason moved his fingers up to Courtney's warm center.

Arching her head back, Courtney moaned as she felt Jason getting closer and closer to her most intimate regions. As she felt Jason's finer tease her opening, she let out a little scream of pleasure.

Pulling his fingers out, Jason saw the juices that had leaked out onto them. "Do something sexy," Jason requested stepping back.

Courtney moaned and couldn't comprehend the words Jason was saying. She watched him as he studied her yet again.

"Perfect Courtney."

"But I'm not doing anything sexy," she managed to get out.

"Yes you are. Just standing there and being beautiful is enough for me." Jason then shed his clothes as fast as he could. Courtney approached him and starting unbuttoning his pants but he stopped her. "Too much time," he simply stated as he threw off his shirt.

Courtney stood back and watched as Jason pulled down his pants and boxers to reveal himself and his manhood. It was perched and waiting for action. Stepping out of them, he walked over to Courtney.

"Turn around." Courtney looked straight at his straining member and didn't do as Jason asked of her. Reaching her hand out, she softly stroked the erect penis. A small amount of liquid squirted just above Courtney's thigh and it was obvious that Jason's patience had worn out.

Turning her around himself, he began to position himself at Courtney's rear. Pressing her close, Jason felt her ass. Reaching it with one hand, he spread her cheeks apart and thrust right into her.

Nearly falling over from the force of the thrust, Courtney found herself being supported by a muscular arm. Jason held onto Courtney as she felt first entry pain. Getting used to Jason in her butt, the pain turned into a weird sensation.

Hearing Courtney's breathing become more regular, Jason began to move in and out of Courtney's ass. By now, both of his arms were holding Courtney up as she fell forward with every thrust and soon that weird feeling turned into pleasure.

Loving the feeling of a warm body on her back, Courtney pushed herself closer to Jason, allowing him to go in even deeper.

"More Jason, faster, harder," Courtney cried out.

Jason obeyed, as he needed it too. He felt closer and closer to the edge as Courtney kept moaning and falling into his arms, which were still around her. Her hands were gripping his arms for support and her feet were struggling to hold their own and so Courtney depended on Jason to keep her upright.

One final hard thrust did the trick for Jason as he went over the edge. Feeling Jason's seed spill into and all over her backside, Courtney had it too. A small explosion seemed to take place in her abdomen as she totally lost her footing and felling into Jason's arms.

Jason continued to support Courtney from behind as he himself regained composure. Panting, Courtney slowly regained her footing and loosened her grip on Jason's arms. Jason then began to get go of Courtney, as she was able to stand on her own.

Facing Jason again, Courtney couldn't believe what just happened. The just had anal sex with the man she loved and couldn't be happier. That and A.J. was gone. Needing to cool down a bit, Courtney slipped into the lake.

From the dock Jason watched Courtney submerge herself into the lake and then climb out. Courtney then spread herself out onto the dock naked. Jason sat nearby as she watched Jason watch her lying down.

"You are so beautiful Courtney."

"Do you really mean it Jason or are you just saying that?"

"I mean every word."

"You are so wonderful and handsome. I wish we could stay like this forever."

Jason then laid on the dock and had Courtney put her head on his hard chest.

"Tonight isn't enough but it is the best I have to offer," Jason said.

"I understand. We are expected back but I couldn’t be happier than I am now."

"Me too." Courtney and Jason then laid together in silence until it was time to return to the rest of the camp.

Note: Wow, I feel like I'm reaching the final stretch of my story. That is probably because I am! Anyway, Camp Journey has sort have become my baby so it will be bittersweet to wrap it up, even if I feel like I did drop my baby down the steps in the last chapter. Also, sappy moment alert, code red!

Chapter Fifty

Jason and Courtney joined everyone else that evening for snack at the Lodge. Some of the younger kids were in the Lodge for movie night so everyone else had snack outside.

Courtney sat on a picnic table and cuddled up next to Jason. She had been fighting what she was about to do for many weeks but she knew in her heart it had to be done. It was time to tell Jason the truth.

"Um, Jason? There is something I need to tell you."

Jason feared the worst as he responded, "What is it?"

Courtney felt really nervous with what she was about to do. Determined to tell the truth, she spoke.

"It is about A.J. and what really happened."

Jason jumped at the mentioning of A.J.'s name as a look of concern spread over his face. "A.J., what about him?"

"I think you need to know how everything came to be the way it was. First of all, I never wanted to go out with A.J. but he wouldn't leave me alone until I agreed. Also, do you remember that night when you found me crying in the woods?"

Jason swallowed. He remembered. It seemed like a lifetime ago but he remembered. Something had upset Courtney but she wouldn't say what it was. Also, that had been the night before their first kiss.

Courtney went on, "Well, A.J. attacked me. I told him we were through and that I liked someone else. He guessed it was you then he started harassing me."

"Did he rape you?"

"No. He never did in all his time but this morning was a close call. If you hadn't shown up I can't say I know what would have happened."

"Did that bastard do anything else to that I don't know about?"

"No, you know the rest."

"I feel a lot better with A.J. gone. I can now promise you my brother won't hurt you any more."

"I know."

"Do you regret what we did earlier Courtney?" Jason looked right into Courtney's eyes as he said this.

Returning his gaze confidently, she replied, "Not for a moment."

"Neither do I."

"Tonight has been such a great night."

Jason fidgeted a little before speaking again. "Listen, there is something I want to give you. Remember the chain I accidentally left in your cabin that one night a week? Well, I think you should have it."

Undoing the chain from his wrist, Jason took a long look at it. He had received it as a gift from his grandma a few years back and had become part of his life. Without hesitating, he put it on Courtney's thin wrist.

"Oh my gosh Jason, I don't know what to say besides thank you."

"You don't have to say anything at all."

Courtney rested her head on Jason's shoulder as they looked into the night sky. Since Camp Everwood was far away from any sort of city, many bright stars shone down on them. They were big, bright, and numerous.

Staring at the twinkling stars, Courtney began to doze off. Jason felt her breath on his neck and it tickled his senses. All of a sudden, he felt a rush over come him. Something was telling him to look up.

Looking up at the starry night sky, Jason saw the stars shining like no other night. Then, he saw one of the stars move off in the distance. He soon recognized it as a shooting star.

"Courtney, Courtney, look up!" Jason pointed at the sky and Courtney followed his signaling.

She looked up just in time to see the shooting star soar overhead. It was truly beautiful. The bright head with the fading tail shimmering after it took Courtney's breath away.

Jason looked into Courtney's eyes and found them full of wonder and amazement. Soon the whole camp was looking up, pointing, making noises. Even so, with late reactions, only the select few had actually seen the shooting star go by.

"Thank you for showing me in time Jason."

"Did you make a wish?"

Courtney then remembered the old saying 'if you wish upon a shooting star, it will come true' but didn't respond to Jason's question right away. In truth, she had forgotten to make a wish all together. She was just looking at the star and enjoying being with Jason.

"I have everything I could have wished for all ready."

"Same here," Jason lied. While he was very happy with the current happenings in his life, Jason wanted only one other thing. When the star flew overhead, Jason wished with all his heart that he would find the courage to tell Courtney how much he loved her before the summer ended.
