*Everyone:
I am SO sorry that
this update is RIDICULOUSLY late! I definitely HAVE NOT quit writing this
story, but I had just come upon some major writer's block, my aunt died of
cancer, and I went to Spain for a while to visit my sister who is living there
for a year. She ended up being sick and wasn't familiar with the
hospitals and doctors there, so I ended up staying there a few extra
days with her for support. I'm also involved in many things with my
school, so that's sucked up a lot of time as well. I am truly sorry, and
I hope I can make up for it!
Please enjoy!
Once again, I apologize!!

A Christmas Memory
by Jules
Chapter 12
- - - - -
After Caroline was
tucked in on Christmas night, Jason and Courtney stood on the balcony watching
the snow fall and continue to coat the city as Christmas came to a close.
Jason stood behind Courtney, his arms wrapped around her.
She held his hands
and looked up at the sky. "It's so beautiful, Jason."
Jason leaned down
and kissed her head, breathing in the familiar scent of her hair.
"So are you, Mrs. Morgan."
Courtney smiled, she
loved hearing that. It made her feel so loved and protected and -
lucky. She turned around and wrapped her arms around Jason's neck as his
hands slid around her waist. Their foreheads touched as snow fell upon
them. "Jason Morgan," Courtney began, "I love you. I
have since the day I met you. The first time I looked into your eyes, I
knew that somehow, you'd change my life. And you have. My God, I
can't even tell you how much I love you."
Jason closed the
tiniest of gaps remaining between them, and their bodies were pressed against
each other. Courtney continued.
"I guess I'll
just have to show you." She brought her lips to his and passionately
began kissing him. Her mouth opened as his tongue found hers. She
ran her hands through his hair as his hands ran up and down her back, giving
her chills. She always loved the feel of his hands on her, and
immediately wanted more. They moved inside to the couch, pulling at each
other's clothes.
"I want you,
Jason," Courtney moaned between breathtaking kisses. He replied by
covering her mouth with his, pulling her into a kiss that made her knees go
weak as he finally was able to pull off her sweater. She moaned his name
over and over again as he made a trail of kisses down her neck - that's
what always drove her crazy, and he knew it. They fell onto the
couch, never coming up for air and neither wanting to.
After they found
what they wanted, they fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Courtney!
COURTNEY!"
What the hell??
"Courtney, we
have to be at that new store FIRST!"
Carly.
Courtney sat up in
bed groggily and rubbed her eyes. "First off, since when are you up
this early? And second, how did you get in here?"
Carly rolled her
eyes. "When it comes to shopping, I'm always there first, and tend
to wake up unnaturally early. And Jason let me in." She looked
sideways at Courtney slyly. "He couldn't pick up that living room
fast enough - looked like you two had some right." She winked as Courtney
rolled her eyes and playfully shoved her off the bed.
"Give me 10
minutes, you moron!"
Carly stumbled out
of the room laughing. "I'll get Caroline ready. Morgan's all
ready downstairs."

Before they started
their big shopping excursion, the Morgan/Corinthos ladies stopped for breakfast
at Kelly's.
"Damn it!
I can never decide what the hell to get at this place." Carly stared
at the menu and sighed, as if choosing a meal was the hardest decision she'd
ever had to make.
"What can I get
you guys this morning?"
Carly glared at
Elizabeth. "What are you so freakin' happy about? Last time I
checked, Jason was married and Ric was thrown into jail forever."
Elizabeth turned to
Courtney. "What can I get for YOU, Courtney?"
"Um, I'm still
looking -- thanks, Elizabeth." She smiled, which turned out to be
the wrong thing to do.
"Why are you
being so nice to her?" Carly asked after Elizabeth had walked
away. "She tried to come on to Jason! Remember, after you lost
the baby?"
"Well, Carly,
I'm trying to forget about that. And I don't even think she was coming
on to him. She was just sad about Emily's situation at that time -
she was so close to losing her best friend. Plus, she's really nice if
you get to know her." Courtney took a sip of her coffee while Carly
looked at her as if she had just grown another head.
"Oh, I'm
sorry. I guess I was just so wrong." Carly folded her
arms and bore her eyes into Courtney's, who just stared right back.
"Carly, don't
get all pissed off about it. I just thought you were too harsh. You
don't even know her too well."
"Excuse me, but I knew that little bitch long before you, and I had an
unpleasant experience with her long before you came into town. So don't
act as if you know everything." Carly got up and walked out of
Kelly's pushing Morgan's stroller in front of her and slamming the door behind
her.
