Chapter 7

Nikki's Apartment ( 10:00pm )

As Jason and Nikki's kiss deepened,Jason thought what if Courtney is

watching me right now.

"I can't do this"Jason said as he pulled away

"Whats wrong?"Nikki questioned confused

"it's just,I'm not ready"Jason replied distancing himself from her.

"Why are you a virgin"Nikki joked trying to lighten the mood

"No,I just-"Jason stopped

"What,you can trust me"Nikki responded

"The love of my life just died in a plane crash"Jason said tears

springing to his eyes.

"I'm so sorry,Jase,I had no idea"Nikki responded

Jason nodded

"Do you want to tell me what happened"Nikki asked

"June 18,was the day we met at Kelly's.At that time I was dating Liz

Webber,but I never really felt for her.Courtney served me breakfast and I

was instantly attracted to her,but then I found out she was married to

my brother that I hate and the sister of my boss.My brother A.J. had to

leave town for awhile for a court case and my boss Sonny asked me to

guard her because she was being stalked.While she was being stalked we

became close friends,I fell in love with her more and more each day,but I

never told her.Then on October 24 we kissed for the first time,but she

said it could never happen again because she loved my brother.We

avoided eachother for about 3 weeks and then she found out it was her husband

A.J. who paid someone to stalk her and Courtney threw him out.One night

she invited me over for a thank you dinner for everything I helped her

with.That night after dinner we kissed and then made love,it was

perfect,my dream come true.The next morning we decided we wanted to keep

seeing each other but we got a secret apartment to meet at because of her

ex-A.J. who was always hasseling her.(No Alcazar or Brenda in my story

which means thier was no Alcazar murder case).We never told her brother

about us only one person knew which was Liz Webber and she always

caused trouble for us but kept our secret.One snowy night Sonny and Carly

had went up to a cabin for a vacation,Courtney and I decided we couldn't

wait any longer to tell her brother Sonny,so we drove up to the

cabin.On the way we crashed and I punctured my lung,I made it so did

Courtney,but Sonny,my boss ordered me to break-up with Courtney and set her free

from my dangerous life,he also threatened my life If I didn't obey,I

did being stupid.Sonny then talked Courtney into leaving Port Charles and

returning to Atlantic City,where her mom lived.Carly told me the night

before to stop Courtney from getting on that plane,I didn't listen.Then

the morning of Febuary 14,I turned on the tv to watch NYPD Blue,but It

was interrupted with a breaking news report and that when I found out

that the woman I loved was identified and dead from a crash into the

Hudson River"Jason said tears now streaming down his face.

Nikki looked at Jason with concern.

"Thank you for filling me in,I understand now"Nikki replied

" I want to move on and I do like you,It's just I don't want hurt

Courtney anymore,I mean she died thinking I didn't love her.If she is

watching over me I don't want her to be hurt from us"Jason said

"I understand you love this girl,but she would want you to move

on"Nikki said

"Everyone tells me that"Jason said

"It's true"Nikki replied as she leaned in to kiss Jason.Jason was about

to shut his eyes and kiss her when Courtney appeared with tears.It

scared Jason that he could see through her she was a ghost.

"Courtney"Jason replied

"What"Nikki asked

"I could have sworn I just saw Courtney"Jason replied

"Well,thiers no one here Jase"Nikki replied

Jason nodded

"Are you ready to move on"Nikki asked

Jason nodded "Yes"

Chapter 8

Nikki's Apartment ( 10:00pm )

"Are you ready to move on"Nikki asked

Jason nodded "Yes"

"I mean No.I don't know"Jason replied confused

"Jason you lost someone you loved more then life, it will take time but

I will help you"Nikki stated

Jason smiled weakly.

"Sonny are you alright"Carly asked

Sonny nodded "Why"

"You haven't said anything since we went to Lukes,you sure your alright

or is it something to do with Jason"Carly questioned

"It's just he clames to have loved Courtney more than anything and it's

only been 2 months and thier he was with Nikki.When you parished in

that car accident you were gone for 6 months and I never thought to

replace you,I thought Jason would love Courtney forever"Sonny said

"Jason will love Courtney forever,he may clame that he is moving on,but

he is only trying to cover his pain from the loss of Courtney"Carly

replied

"What about the talk you and him had at the Cellar the other day,didn't

he confirm he was moving on"Sonny asked

Carly nodded "Yes,he did.Although when he found out I hired a new

hostess,I saw the pain.I'm telling you Nikki or any other girl is just well

I guess some one he is using to cover the void,and i don't think he

means to use Nikki or any other girl,It's just when pain is unbearble you

don't think clearly and Jason definitely is not thinking clearly at

all"Carly replied

Sonny nodded in response

The Next Day

Kelly's

"Hey Nikki"Jason said as he took a seat across from her

"Hey Jason,How you doing"Nikki replied with a smile

"I'm okay,I guess"Jason said

"Already moving on,huh"A.J. stated

"What do you want A.J."Jason asked coldly

"Well,Courtney has only been gone 2 months,Jase"A.J. said

"Don't speak her name your not good enough for it"Jason replied

"Whats wrong Jase,you expect me to believe you cared about her or even

loved her,Please"A.J.

Jason stared at A.J.

"You only pretended to care for her until she divorced me then you

dumped her for Sonny,I guess it's for the best anyway the poor slut didn't

deserve to live anyway"A.J. said with a smirk

That was it Jason quickly manueverd A.J. up against the wall.

"No,You don't deserve to live"Jason said

"Come on Jase,people are watching"A.J. stated

"I don't care,Courtney was my life I made mistakes and before I knew

it,she was gone and it was to late and trust me A.J. I'll never forgive

myself for it.You have no right to talk about her that way"Jason said

"She's dead,who cares"A.J. said

"I do"Jason stated coldly and let go of his grip on A.J. and quickly

exited Kelly's.Nikki quickly ran after him.

"Well, Mac I want to press charges I have plenty of witnesses"A.J. said

"Are you kidding me"Mac stated

"What"A.J. asked

"It is clear Jason is mourning a loss and you were harassing him about

his loss,that will never fly in court"Mac stated

The Docks

"Jason are you okay"Nikki asked walking up behind him

Jason turned to face her and had tears streaming down his face.

"Whats that"Nikki asked referring to the item in Jason's hand.

"It's a picture of Courtney and I"Jason said

Nikki took the picture from Jason and looked at it.

"You both look so happy"Nikki stated

"We were"Jason replied

"She's gone Jase,try and forget her"Nikki replied

Chapter 9

1 month later

The Docks

"Hey cutie"Nikki said as she descended the stairs.

"Hi"Jason replied as he slowly kissed Nikki.

They had been seeing each other for about 4 weeks now,but he felt

guilty that Courtney could see him and that he was once again hurting her,he

had to try though.He knew no girl would ever compare to Courtney and so

far Nikki hadn't even come close,but she was nice and sweet.

"Do you want to do something tonight?"Nikki asked

"Actually Carly is having a 3 months memorial at the Cellar tonight for

Courtney,I'm going to go"Jason said

"Can I come with you"Nikki asked

"Sure"Jason replied"But aren't you working"

"I have the night off"Nikki said

"Oh,Okay I'll see you at six then"Jason said

"Okay"Nikki replied as she and Jason quickly kissed and she exited the

docks.

PH 4

Sonny flew into the penthouse full of rage and Carly could see it,she

slowly stood up and approached him.

"Sweetie,whats wrong?"Carly asked

"Jason,he makes me so mad.I just saw him on the docks with Nikki and

they were all kissy,kissy,what happened to Courtney"Sonny asked fuming

"Courtney died Sonny and now Jason is trying to move on.I agree it's a

little soon,but he seems pretty happy"Carly stated

"You said only Courtney would make him happy"Sonny stated

"No I said Courtney will always be loved by him"Carly said

"I don't care,If he loved my sister he would have never moved on"Sonny

yelled

"So what,you rather Jason sit around his penthouse and dwell on the

loss of Courtney rather than go out with Nikki.Sonny,Courtney's dead,she

is never coming back don't you get it"Carly stated

"Why,I just want my sister back"Sonny sobbed as he and Carly slid to

the floor.

"Sonny she is up in heaven watching you right now,trying to give you

strenghth to deal with the loss of her,but help her out.Go get ready for

her memorial so we can honor her the way your sister and my

sister-in-law deserves to be honored"Carly said

Sonny nodded and wiped away his tears."Your right,I'll go get

ready"Sonny whispered sadly.

Carly watched her husband walked up the stairs and then followed so she

could to get ready for the memorial of her best friend.

The Cellar

Jason and Nikki entered the Cellar and took a seat.

"I can't believe he brought that wench"Sonny stated

"Sonny,stop it.Courtney deserves to be honored with no mean statements

around.

Jason looked around sadly and walked up to a bulletin board.Nikki

followed

"What is it Jase"Nikki asked

"It's a collage of Courtney's life"Jason said tears being released from

his eyes.

Jason walked away from the collage and sat back at the table facing the

bar,Carly smiled at him and he returned it weakly.

Suddenly the club went silent and everyone at the club started gasping

in surprise.Jason slowly turned around and couldn't believe his eyes.

"Courtney"Jason said as he ran to her and she ran to him.He picked her

up and twirled her around before kissing her deeply.Sonny was next he

engulfed her in a big hug and then Carly.Jason hugged her again never

wanting to let go.

"What happened"Jason asked

"The plane crashed and I was taken captive by Luis Alcazar he isn't

dead.I got away and here I am"Courtney replied with a smile

"I missed you so much sis"Sonny said "Me too"Carly added

Nikki walked up behind the fab 4 and put her hand on Jason's

shoulder.Courtney pulled away from Jason and stared at Nikki,she got it.

Courtney back away"Courtney what-"Jason asked

" I get it "Courtney said before turning around and running from the

club.

Jason shrugged Nikki's hand off of his shoulder and chased the love of

his life.

Sonny smiled triumphantly at Nikki the little wench will soon be gone

he thought!

Chapter 10

The Cellar

"What"Nikki asked

"Nikki,you know I like you but now that Courtney's back I can guarantee

you that Jason and you will be over"Carly stated matter-of-factly

"Yeah,see Jason he LOVES Courtney"Sonny said with a grin"He will never

love anyone else"

"Believe what you want"Nikki replied

Upstairs ( Kelly's )

It was 10:00pm and Liz was washing down the counters getting ready for

closing she almost fainted when she saw Courtney coming from the Cellar

and Jason running after her.She looked on as Jason finally caught her

Jason finally reached Courtney as she was leaving Kelly's.He lightly

grabbed a hold on her arm and pulled her back into the diner.

"Why did you run"Jason asked

"You have a girlfriend"Courtney replied

" I dated Nikki in hopes to fill my void from the loss of you"Jason

replied

"Fine"Courtney stated

"I still don't understand I saw you in my dreams and they identified

your DNA"Jason asked

"They thought I was dead any way you should know the people and the

PCPD are quacks"Courtney said

Jason nodded and smiled"Your right"

"I missed you"Courtney said

"I missed you more"Jason replied with a grin.

"You know what Nikki and I had didn't and never could compare to

us"Jason replied

"You know you should know that I have been gone 3 months and the reason

I agreed to walk away was because I was pregnant"Courtney stated sadly.

"I can tell by the sadness in your eyes Courtney,you lost it huh?"Jason

asked

"Ofcourse not I'm sad because I don't want you to be angry"Courtney

replied

"You mean were having a baby together"Jason asked

Courtney nodded.Jason picked her up and twirled her around.

"I love you so much"Jason replied as he set her down on her feet.

"I love you too"Courtney replied as her and Jason leaned in and thier

lips met in a kiss full of love.

Nikki stopped dead in her tracks at what she saw when she walked up the

stairs.Liz's blood boiled as she too watched the encounter,but she also

felt part of her heart break.

Chapter 11

Kelly's

"I love you so much"Jason replied as he set her down on her feet.

"I love you too"Courtney replied as her and Jason leaned in and thier

lips met in a kiss full of love.

Nikki stopped dead in her tracks at what she saw when she walked up the

stairs.Liz's blood boiled as she too watched the encounter,but she also

felt part of her heart break.

Courtney suddenly pulled away as she noticed Nikki was watching

them.Nikki quickly walked past them and out the door.

"Follow her and talk to her.I'll be right here"Courtney

Jason nodded and headed out the door.

"Your suppose to be dead"Liz said from behind Courtney.

"I'm not.I was taken captive after the plane crashed and I finally got

away"Courtney said

"Oh"Liz replied and then walked away.Courtney sighed and took a seat at

a table to wait for Jason to return.

"Nikki wait"Jason said as he finally caught up to her.

"What"Nikki asked

"You understand whats happening,don't you"Jason asked

"Sort of"Nikki replied

"Nikki, Courtney was the love of my life and I told you no one would

ever compare.You took a chance on me and you helped me and I hope we can

remain friends,but Courtney was kidnapped and she just returned.She

also is pregnant with my child which is why she left so suddenly,she

didn't want to pressure me.Now she knows the truth and that it was all

Sonny's fault and Sonny is forgiven.Nikki,I want to be your friend but

Courtney and I are going to be a family"Jason stated

Nikki nodded

"Are we okay then"Jason asked

"Yes"Nikki replied and Jason walked off.As soon as Jason was gone.

"Courtney and Jason will never have a family,not while I draw

breath"Nikki said

Jason walked back into Kelly's and over to his girl.

"Is she alright"Courtney asked

Jason nodded

"I can't believe your really here baby"Jason said as he picked Courtney

up and twirled her around.

"I"m here,and I love you"Courtney replied

"I love yo more"Jason teased

"Not possible"Courtney confirmed as she leaned in and her and Jason met

in another passioniate kiss.Then together hand in hand they ventured

downstairs as a couple.
