Chapter One

Jason Morgan reached into his leather jacket to answer his ringing cellular phone. "Hello?" he asked.

"Hey, its me," Sonny said from the other end of the phone. "Listen, I need you to come over to the penthouse right away. Its important. Where are you?" he asked.

"I'm on Pier 52," he replied, then added quickly. "Why what's wrong, is everything okay? He asked in a hurried voice.

"Not--not really," Sonny stuttered as his tone was laced with fatigue. "I'm a little shocked and confused. I need you to do something really important for me."

Jason nodded. That was his life. Sonny giving him orders and Jason following them, not knowing if they were going to get him killed. "Okay," he agreed non the less. "I'll be right there." he hung up as he stuffed the phone back into his pockets and he began to walk off the pier.

"What?" he asked; confused.

"Yeah." Sonny Corinthos muttered as his father Mike Corbin sighed in frustration

Jason looked over at his best friend as he ran his hands over his face in slow agony. "When did that happen?" Sonny shrugged.

"Probably when he left me and my mother."

A bitchy blonde women gave a disgusted sigh. "Just find her and keep her safe!"

"Shut up, Janine!" he snapped furiously as he turned to Sonny. "Michael," his voice was a lot calmer "I know that you're not happy with me right now, but--"

Sonny intervened "How in the hell could lie to me for eighteen years about this! I was a little boy, I would have loved to have a little sister!" he yelled, full of rage as Jason watched the family feud.

"I'm sorry, Michael, but you know that Adela would have just taken you away form me sooner." he pleaded, trying to make his son understand.

"This is sweet and all," Janine said sardonically as she rose to her feet. "But my daughter is being threatened and all you two can do is stand there and argue about betrayal!" she cried as she brought a trembling hand to her face to muffle her sobs.

"Get out, the both of you!" Sonny ordered harshly. "I need to talk to Jason alone." after a few seconds, Janine and Mike stepped out of the room. "I want you to find my sister." said Sonny.

"What's her name?" Jason asked.

"Courtney Matthews."

Jason nodded slowly. "Okay," he exhaled deeply. "Where does she live?"

"Atlantic City." Sonny replied shortly as he walked over to the wet bar and poured himself a drink. He pointed to a manila envelope that sat on the desk. "From what her mother's said, she has been getting threats for the past few months now. Look in that."

Jason opened the envelope and poured the contents out on the desk. Threat letters, even pictures of her in her home or her walking to work. "Do you know how hard it's going to be to try and find her in A.C.?" Jason asked.

"Yeah, I know, but Janine knows where she lives and where she likes to go. Do you think you could do this for me? I don't want to loose I sister that I haven't even meet yet."

"Sure," he said as he glanced at the different pictures of her. She looked really young.

"Thanks man, I owe you."

Jason looked around the rundown neighborhood and sighed, obviously not the good side of Atlantic City. "Okay, once you find her, take her down to the Island." Sonny ordered form the other end of the cell phone

Jason agreed he would as he stepped in front of a little diner that Janine said Courtney went to often. The little eatery made Kelly's look like a formal restaurant. He opened the door and walked into the diner as a bell rang over his head.

"I'll call you once I find her." Jason promised.

"Okay, Just don't hurt her or I'll hurt you." Sonny warned as Jason smiled slightly.

"Okay, bye." they both hung up as he put the cell phone into his jean pocket as he sat down on a swivel stool at the counter.

"How may I help ya?" asked a dirty blonde haired women who wore way too much blue eye shadow. "Would you like some coffee?" she asked in a cherry tone.

"Actually," Jason said in a slow even tone as he leaned forward. "I'm looking for someone by the name of Courtney Matthews. Do you know her?" he asked hopefully. If she worked in the diner that Courtney attended, then she had to at least know her, he hunched.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I don't." she stated in an apologetic tone. "I just started working here today. Sorry." she picked up a picture of coffee and walked off.

"I know her." said a male voice from a little ways down the counter. Jason turned his attention to the direction in which the voice was coming from. His eyes landed on a medium height man who was very thin. He had flaming red hair and freckles lined his cheekbones and nose. "What's your name?"

Do you know where I can find her?" Jason turned to face the man.

"What's your name?" he repeated, his voice calm.

"Jason Morgan," he answered irritably. "Are you going to answer my question or not?"

"The redhead lifted a tall glass to his mouth as he gulped down the rest of whatever he was drinking. He nudged his head to the door making his red hair fall about his forehead. "Well here's your chance pretty boy, she just walked in." He slapped a few dollar bills on the counter and rushed out rather quickly.

Jason turned to the door to see a beautiful blonde enter the diner. She flipped her long hair over her shoulders as she took a seat at a nearby booth. Something was wrong. He had expected Sonny's sister to have long, sleek black hair, a tailored three piece women suit with high heels. Not a blonde in a demin mini, tight white tank top and backless tennis shoes.

He scratched his temple lightly. He arose from the stool and made his way over to the booth. "Hi--Uh, can I talk to you?" he requested.

She glanced up at him. She had big blue eyes that were wide in confusion. "Uh--no." she stated very bluntly. "For all I know, you could be a hit man or something.

"Listen, it's really important, and it wont take that long." he stated lightly

Courtney folded the menu and placed it on the table in gentle annoyance. She ran her tongue across he upper lip as she arose and pushed past him. She was as arrogant as Sonny.

"I know you're father," he called after her hastily. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to look at him. "He lives in Port Charles New York." he stated.

Her eyes flashed dangerously. "How dare you joke about my deceased father as if it were some kind of joke, you jerk!" she said in a harsh low growl.

"Listen, Courtney," he began, oblivious to the fact that the whole diner watched on eagerly. She interrupted him.

"How do you know my name?!" she demanded fiercely, her eyes burning with hate. What-- what are you like stalking me or something?"

She didn't wait for a reply, because she turned on her heel and ran out of the diner. Jason rushed out after her. He seen her duck into an alley across the street. He raced after her. If had known that Sonny's sister was going to be like this, he wouldn't have agreed to find her.

Luckily, he was a faster runner than she was. He rushed up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist as she began to scream. Jason quickly placed his hand over her mouth as she struggled fiercely to get out of his grasp.

"I'm not going to hurt you!" he hissed into her ear. She managed to escape his hold and began to run away from him. Jason groaned in frustration. Courtney looked back briefly, her big blue eyes displayed that she was terrified and was crying. When she turned to face the direction in which she was running, she tripped and fell.

She was shacking terribly as Jason hovered over her, out of breath. "Please," she begged through sobs, "Please don't hurt me." as sobs racked her small form.

Jason contemplated on letting Courtney stay awake, but he knew better. She would probably scream her head off when they got into public.

He took out his gun quickly. When Courtney spotted the gun, she began to panic and began to scream her head off. Jason took the butt of the gun and hit her hard enough on the temple to knock her out. He took out his cell phone and dialed Myers number.

"Hey, bring the car around to..." she glanced up at the street name. "To Brown drive. it's a little alley off of Brown street. Hurry up." he ordered.

Jason bent down and pushed her blonde hair away from her face. He noticed that he had accidentally left a tiny cut on her temple. Using the pad of his thumb, he whipped away the blonde. He felt her pulse, it was steady. He couldn't help but notice that she was very attractive.

Five minutes later, Myers came wheeling down the corner like a bat out of hell. Bringing the car to a screeching halt, Jason lifted the unconscious girl into his arms. Myers hopped out of the car and opened the back seat door. Jason gently laid her in the backseat of the car and crawled in himself. Pushing her all the way in, he shut the door.

"Hurry up," Jason said as he took out his cell phone and began to dial the penthouse. Sonny picked up the phone on the first ring.

"Did you get her?" he asked urgently.

"Yeah," he sighed, "Yeah I got her. She's quite the fighter and has a good set of lungs on her." He chuckled.

"Why, what happened?"

"Nothing," Jason stated briskly, "She just thinks that I'm her stalker," Sonny laughed softly "But she thinks that he father is dead."

"Yeah, Janine mentioned that," Sonny's tone was somber as he sighed in heavy defeat. "I know that I'm asking for much. But do you think that you could stay on the Island with her until we find this guy?"

"Myers and a bunch of other guys are going to be down there," Jason protested "I can help you track this guy down, I cant do that if I'm stuck on the Island watching her." he responded as he glanced down at the unconscious body.

"Yeah, but ever since Johnny went behind my back to work for Alcazar, I gotta keep my guard up. I trust you will take care of my sister" Sonny said.

"He better!" Jason heard Janine from the background of Sonny's end.

"Shut and sit down!" Sonny ordered "So," his voice was a lot calmer now "Do you think that you could do this for me? Plus one girl, five guards....." his voice trailed off.

Jason smiled. "Okay, okay, I see your point, I'll stay with her, just hurry up"

"Thanks man, I owe you big time."

Courtney Matthew's eyes began to flutter open as her head screamed with pain. She lifted her head a her eyes fully open. She squinted as she tried to get them to adjust to the light. "Where am I?" she whispered aloud to herself as she took in her surroundings. She had never seen this place before. Then, not expecting it, someone answered her question.

"Your on my plane." he said in a boring tone. She nearly jumped ten feet. It was her stalker, he had kidnapped her!

She began to tremble in fear as tears stung the back of her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. "W--What do you want with me?" she stammered. The handsome man shook his head. 'Wow, he is sexy,' she thought as her eyes scanned him curiously.

'Look beyond his looks, Courtney!' she scolded herself. 'He kidnapped you and stuffed you into a plane!' Then it hit her, she was on a plane! She thought frantically

"Oh, God, I hate planes!" she confessed out loud. "I want to leave, take me home now!" she ordered.

He reached into his pocket and laid a gun on the table, followed by a wallet, but all Courtney stared at was the gun He was obviously looking for something as she let out a tiny whimper. He sighed in annoyance as he placed the gun under the chair. He pulled out a cell phone and dialed a number as Courtney watched intensively. She was doing her best not to cry, but the man sitting across from her had the coldest blue eyes she had ever seen.

Then, out of the blue, he smiled. His eyes got warm and he looked almost friendly. "Hey, Michael, is there a blonde women over at your house?" he paused as Courtney's eyebrows knitted in confusion. He laughed. "Yeah, I know--hey could you put her on the phone?"

Just as soon as he let his guard down and smiled it was back up again. "Shut-up!" he said abruptly as his eyes went cold again. "Yeah, she's right her." he glanced over at her. "Your mother wants to talk to you." Courtney reluctantly rose from the chair and made her way over to him; breathing very heavily.

She reached out and grabbed the phone quickly. "I'm not going to bite you." he said defensively.

"No, but you'll shoot me!" she remarked as he rolled his eyes. Courtney placed the phone up to her ear slowly. "Courtney?" a voice said from the other line. It was her mother. She began to cry

"Hi, Mommy." she cried. "Mom, I've been kidnapped by some crazy man, what do I do?" she inquired in a panicky tone. "I know your scared, baby," Janine said soothingly. "But, believe it or not, that man is helping you."

Courtney was dumbfounded, she had to be joking? But, knowing her mother, money was involved somehow. "Helping?" she cried out, her anger boiling. "If you call helping chasing me down an alley, knocking me unconscious and stuffing me on a plane help, you're the one that serious help, mother!"

"Listen Courtney, your in danger and Sonny wanted you out of the country, so--" Janine tried to reason, but Courtney cut her off.

"Who in the hell is Sonny?" Courtney exploded with anger. Her mother was silent for a moment. "Mother, answer me! Is he another guy that you could milk money off of? Huh?"

"I have to tell you something, darling." she paused before speaking. Courtney heard her gulp. "Your father's not dead."

Courtney blinked. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Her breathing became more heavy as her cheat rose and fell. Her mother was calling her name. "You lied to me." she whispered, "Why?"

"I did it to protect you, Courtney," Janine argued "Please understand that he wasn't the best role model for you"

"Like you were mother!" she spat darkly. "I want to talk to him. Now. And if he's not there, give me his number so I can contact him." Courtney heard her mother sigh in guilt "He's not here. But your brother is."

Courtney began to laugh sarcastically as she placed a hand on her forehead. "A brother?" she said "What the hell?" she asked confused.

"Hello?" Courtney heard a male voice replace her mothers. Courtney stopped laughing very abruptly. "Hello?" he asked again.

"Hi" Courtney whispered.

"Hey," the man said. "My names Sonny. Sonny Corinthos. I already know your mane, Courtney."

"Your no the only one." she muttered

"You met Jason, haven't you?"

"That's his name?" she asked.

"Yeah, Jason Morgan"

Does he always look this mean?" she asked, not looking at his _expression. Sonny Corinthos laughed.

"No," he answered lightly. "No, Jason's a good guy. 'And a hot one too' Courtney added in her head. An awkward silence fell over them.

"Jason," a voice over the P.A system "We have a storm headed our way, so I suggest that you buckle up."

"I--uh I have to go." Courtney said softly. "It was a pleasure talking to you."

"You too."

They said there good byes as they both hung up. Courtney threw the phone back to Jason as she walked back over to the couch she woke up on and strapped a seatbelt around her waist.

In all honesty, she was sort of excited that she was going to have a brother.
