Courtney went down to the club and told Carly that Max had just said he had to go, because Benny was dead. Carly knew Sonny was going to be hurting.. when they got to where Sonny and Jason were, they were scared because Sonny and Jason were fighting. "Sonny! Stop this before you say something you'll regret." Carly pleaded. Courtney put her hand into Jason's and saw all the hurt and anger in his eyes, she knew they had been fighting over her. "Jason, please take me home, I want to go home before this gets any worse." Tears were shining in her eyes, "No Courtney, not until me and Sonny get what needs to be said, said." Then Jason moved closer to Sonny, "What happened to Benny tonight was bad, but I have always been loyal to you, even after you fired me." "You don't know what it means to be loyal!" Sonny spat out the words. Before anybody knew what was happening Sonny grabbed Jason and pushed him back, then they both began to fight. Carly wanted to break it up, but courtney told her it was too dangerous for her and the baby. Courtney screamed for Jason to stop and then Taggert showed up, "Well well, trouble in paradise?" The tears were now streaming down Carly and Courtney's face, Sonny and Jason were both on the ground. They both were equal amounts of pain, "Why don't you just us alone?" Carly said trying to regain her composure. "Why don't I just bring in both boys?" Taggert replied smugly, Courtney went over to Jason and helped him up.

They had been there for two hours and everyone was ready to go home, "Well as long as Ms. Matthews and Mrs. C can keep you two away from each other, they may take you home." Carly and Courtney hugged and said their good-byes, Courtney wouldn't look at Sonny.

The whole ride home had been silent, when they got into the loft Jason went straight for the bathroom, when he came out Courtney was on the couch. "How are you?" she asked gently, "Come here, please i need you." Courtney got up and went to him, and for the first time he cried on her shoulder, neither of them said a word. Courtney just held him for as long as he needed her too.

Carly was furious and hurt, how could Sonny have done what he had done tonight? "Carly don't even start with me." Carly just looked at him, "I wasn't, you've done enough damage tonight and probably the best friends we will ever have." Sonny watched her as she walked up the stairs, he knew that he shouldn't have fought with Jason tonight, but what was done was done, and Benny was the one that paid because of him.
