Carly was still very angry with Sonny about everything, "Carly, I need to talk to you right now!!" Carly rolled her eyes, "Okay.. I'm coming." She walked down the stairs and saw Sonny sitting on the couch, his face was still bruised from his fight with Jason. "What Sonny?" Sonny looked at her, "Be careful coming down those stairs, you're gonna hurt the baby.. especially if you keep getting yourself so upset like you did the other night." Carly frowned, she loved this man more then anything in the world, but right now she wanted to take her shoe and slam it up against his head. That very hard stubborn head. "Sonny i wouldn't have gotten so upset if you wouldn't have started fighting with Jason." " Well he is disrespectful and I don't want anything more to do with him or Courtney." Carly was furious, "He has NEVER been anything but loyal to you, he has done everything you have ever asked of him. It's not his fault that the woman he loves is your sister." Sonny just looked at her, "You don't know anything about this!" "He is mine and your bestfriend, and the father of your neice or nephew!" Carly screamed, and then she realized what she had said.

Jason got out the shower and saw Courtney getting ready to leave, he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Where are you going?" Courtney turned in his arms, "I've got to go to work, and NOTHING you can do or say is gonna make me stay." Courtney laughed and kissed his lips, she really wanted to stay in these for always. "Ok, but i'll come and get you after your shift.. I don't want you walking back here alone." Courtney laughed again, "Ok, come and get me around eight thirty." Jason nodded and kissed her deeply before he let go of her, so she could leave.

Sonny was standing there looking out at the water, when had his life gotten so messed up? Now his sister was pregnant with Jason's baby, a baby that he would probably never see. Courtney hated him now, he had seen the fear in her eyes when he had yelled at her and then when he and Jason had fought.

Jason had seen him, he was running late getting to Kelly's and at the docks he saw Sonny. Then he saw something, a shadow in the darkness.. something was in the guys hand. Jason heard gun shots, Sonny was looking around now.. then Jason ran to him. Then he was hit, the pain was excrutiating

Sonny knelt beside him, "Jason, please hang on. Please." Sonny was crying now. "Sonny, you got to.. got to.. take care of.. Courtney.. and the baby.. you sister needs you." "No! Jason don't you dare die on me! The ambulance is coming Jase.. Please hang on." Then Jason closed his eyes, his breathing was irregular, but he was alive.

Courtney was waiting for Jason, where was he? Then Bobbie came up to her, "Courtney honey, Carly just called there's been an accident." "What kind of accident? Is Sonny alright? Is Jason?" The look on Bobbie's face told her everything, she grabbed her coat and scarf and went to General Hospital, praying the whole way there.

Jason had been taken into surgery with Sonny by his side, Sonny had told them he wasn't leaving and when he told them he would not put one more cent in this hospital he was given his scrubs and mask and taken in with Jason. Carly was sitting in the waiting room, she had tried not to cry, but it hadn't work. When she saw Courtney she started crying harder, "Where's Jason and Sonny?" Carly tried to talk, " Jason's in surgery, and Sonny demanded that they let him go in too." Courtney sat down next to Carly and they both prepared themselves for a very long night ahead.

Jason was in a coma, and between Courtney, Carly, and Sonny hadn't been alone. Carly had convinced Courtney to go home and rest at least for the baby's sake. Sonny was in there with him now, Carly knew she shouldn't listen in but she was anyways. "Jason, why didn't you just let me get shot? You could've saved us all this pain, Courtney and Carly are already mad at me, if you die they will NEVER forgive me." Sonny couldn't help it, he was crying, since the docks he had cried more then he had ever cried in his life. " You gotta wake up, for Courtney and this baby, she needs you. Carly and Michael need you, I need you." From the door way, Carly was wiping the tears, Courtney had come back and was listening too. "Jason i was wrong, i've known for a while and then when Benny died. I just.. I felt guilty, i know it wasn't your fault or Courtney's. It was mine, you're my best friend and my brother, in honest truth I couldn't ever think of a better man to be with her than you."

Jason heard every word, he had acutally been awake since Sonny had first came in the room, but he had kept his eyes closed. "Sonny.. I couldn't let that man shoot you, I love you. No matter what has happened, i will always protect you, you're the best friend I have ever had." Courtney thought about going to Jason, she wanted to, but she didn't. He and Sonny needed this now. "Jason.. I.." "No Sonny, let me finish.. Courtney loves you, if she didn't you couldn't have hurt her as much as you did. She needs you Sonny." Jason could feel his eyes fill with tears. " I don't know how to be her big brother." Jason smiled, "Yes, you do.. love her, be there for her." Sonny and Jason hugged, and then Jason got some rest.

The next day.. Jason was sitting up in the bed, everything was good again with Sonny. Courtney was sitting by his side, "Courtney, I didn't want to ask you this here, but I'm afraid that if I don't, i won't have another chance. Will you marry me?" Courtney smiled, "Yes! Jason i'll marry you." Then they kissed..

8 months later Carly held one month year old Morgan Hope Corinthos in her arms, now they were waiting on Courtney's baby to be born. Sonny was a nervous wreck, Carly couldn't stop smiling, and Jason kept coming out giving updates.

An hour later Jason came out of the delivery room holding little Andrew Benjamin and Carly Danielle Everything was good, her babies were perfect. And she had the greatest husband, Sister, and Big brother in the world.
