Chapter 15
“Sonny I have some news on your father’s condition.” Monica said as she walked over.

“What is it?” Courtney asked.

“Well your father had a mild heart attack which caused him to loss consciousness. After going over some tests that we took of him, I’ve come to the conclusion that he will not need to have surgery. Actually I just went in to check on him before I came out here and he is awake but very groggy. One person can go in at a time to see him but don’t stay for that long because he needs his rest.” Monica said as she saw signs of relief pass over everyone’s face.

“Thanks Monica” Sonny said.

“Courtney why don’t you and Sonny go first. I don’t think it will hurt if one extra person is in the room.” Bobbie said.

“Good idea, come on Sonny.” Courtney said as she and her brother walked away.

“I’m glad that we now know that everyone is ok.” Jason said.

“Me too” Emily and Carly both said.

Mike’s room
“Hey Dad” Courtney said.

“Hi sweetheart” Mike said as Courtney kissed him on the forehead.

“Mike” Sonny said as he nodded his head.

“Hello Michael”

“I’m so glad that you’re ok. You scared us for a second.” Courtney said.

“I’m glad that I’m okay too.” Mike said.

“So am I” Sonny said.

“Courtney could you give me and Michael a second.” Mike asked.

“Sure, actually I’m really tired so Jason and I are gonna head home but I’ll be back in the morning. Ok? Bye” Courtney said as she hugged her father.

“What do you want to talk about?” Sonny asked as he pulled up a chair.

“I wanted to say I’m sorry” Mike said.

“For what?”

“For never really being there for you while you grew up and I hope that you will give us a chance and maybe we can start over.”

“When I found out what had happened with you getting kidnapped and now you being in the hospital, its made me realize that I would like to have you in my life again and I accepted you’re apologize as long as you accept mine.”

“What do you need to apologize for?”

“For being a jerk and not treating you right.”

“I accept”

“Well I got to go get Carly and the boys home. Bye Dad”

“Wait did you just call me Dad?”

“I think I did.”

“That’s like the first time I’ve ever heard you say that. I love you Michael.” Mike said as Sonny left.

Chapter 16
Jason and Courtney got off the elevator and walked into their penthouse, hand in hand.

“Do you want anything?” Jason asked his wife.

“No I’m ok” Courtney replied.

“Are you sure cuz the doctor said that you need to take it easy so I’m gonna make suer that you always have everything that you need and want.” Jason said as he kissed his wife.

“Oh really, I like the sound of that but if you start to annoy me in anyway I’ll kill you.” Courtney said as she kissed him back.

“I’ve missed you so much.” Jason said.

“We’ve missed you too.” Courtney said talking about her and their unborn child.

Jason walks over to the couch and Courtney sits on his lap.

“Ah” Courtney said.

“What’s wrong?!” Jason said.

“Nothing, its just the baby. Its been kicking a lot since the hospital.” Courtney said. Jason brought his hand over to her stomach and felt the baby kicking.

“Can you believe that in about 4 months we are going to be parents?” Jason said with a smile on his face.

“After the miscarriage I didn’t think it was possibly but I’m so thankful that our dreams have finally come true.” Courtney said as a tear fell down her face.

“Are you ok?” Jason asked.

“Yeah I’m just happy. I mean you and Sonny rescued all of us and everyone is ok and now I’m in your arms again. This couldn’t get any better.”

“I agree” Jason said as he kissed her again.

“Well I am going to take a shower and go to bed because I am exhausted.” Courtney said as she got up. She made her way to the stairs and turned back to see Jason still sitting on the couch.

“Like I said I’m going to take a shower.” Courtney said again. Finally Jason realized what she meant and her grabbed her by the waist and followed his wife upstairs.

A motel in Port Charles
“So what are you going to do next?” AJ asked Ric.

“I don’t know yet.” Ric said.

“Well as soon as you figure it out, which better be soon, tell me.” AJ said as he got up and went over to his room.

Penthouse 4
Sonny and Carly were sitting on the couch with Michael and Morgan when Courtney and Jason walked in.

“Hello Corinthos family” Courtney said.

“Well hello Morgan family” Carly said.

“I’m glad you guys stop over.” Sonny said.

“Well we were on our way to see Dad but we thought we stop by first and say hello.” Courtney said.

“What’s up?” Jason asked.

“Well I’ve decided that if everyone agrees that the 6 of us, Bobbie, Mike, Emily and she’ll probably want to bring Nikolas along so all 10 of us could go to the island for about a week as soon as Mike gets out of the hospital.” Sonny said.

“That’s a great idea. I think we could all use some R&R.” Carly said.

“Yeah, I’ll talk to Emily about it.” Jason said.

“Yeah and I’ll talk to my mom.” Carly said.

“And I will talk to Dad about it.” Courtney said.

“Good, good” Sonny said.

Motel
“I just got word that Sonny has planned a little vacation for him and everyone who was kidnapped by us.” Ric told AJ.

“Ok so what are you going to do?” AJ asked.

“My plan is to…” Ric began.

2 weeks later
Mike is out of the hospital and he, Emily, Nikolas, Bobbie, Jason, Courtney, Michael, Morgan, Sonny and Carly are all at the airport getting ready to board the plane.

Ring, Ring

“Corinthos” Sonny said as he answered. “Ok thanks” he said as he hung up.

“Ready to go?” Carly asked.

“Jason can I talk to you for a second?” Sonny asked.

“Sure” Jason said as he and Sonny walked away.

“I just got word that Ric and AJ are in town planning something big.” Sonny said.

“Do you know what yet?” Jason asked.

“No, that’s why I think that you and I should stay behind for an extra day or two and then meet up with everyone else. This way we’ll be able to try and find out what Ric is up to and we won’t have to worry about our family being in danger.” Sonny said.

“I agree” Jason said as he and Sonny walked up to everyone else.

“Now are you ready to go?” Carly asked.

“We have some bad news.” Jason said.

“What?” Courtney asked.

“Sonny and I can’t go just yet but we’re gonna meet up with you guys in about a day or two.” Jason explained.

“Why?” Mike asked.

“Business” Sonny said.

“Ok as long as you actually meet up with us later.” Carly said trying to hide her disappointment.

“Sorry” Jason said.

“Don’t be” Courtney said.

“Well we got to get going Jase” Sonny said. They said their goodbyes to everyone and left. Everyone else made their way to the corridor that led to the plane. As Jason and Sonny walked away they heard a loud explosion. They ran to the nearest window to see Sonny’s plane going up in flames.

Chapter 17
“Well we got to get going Jase” Sonny said. They said their goodbyes to everyone and left. Everyone else made their way to the corridor that led to the plane. As Jason and Sonny walked away they heard a loud explosion. They ran to the nearest window to see Sonny’s plane going up in flames.

“NO!!!!!!” Sonny yelled.

He and Jason ran toward the corridor but were stopped by security guards running towards it.

“I’m sorry but you cannot go in there.” one guard said as he pointed towards the corridor.

“But that’s my plane!” Sonny screamed.

“You both need to get out of here. Everyone in the airport is being evacuated and that includes the both of you.” the guard said.

Jason and Sonny tried to get through a few more times but were finally escorted away. They made their way to Harbor View Towers.

Penthouse 4
Sonny walked over to the table and poured himself and Jason a drink. They both sat in the couch in silence for a few minutes.

“Damn it!” Jason yelled as he grabbed his cup and threw it against the wall.

“How could we have been so stupid? We knew that Ric and AJ were going to try and get at us somehow and this was the perfect opportunity. We should have been more careful!” Sonny yelled.

Jason walked over to the door and slammed it shut behind him. He got on the elevator and climbed on his bike and drove to Vista Point.

Penthouse 4
Sonny watched as Jason left and said nothing. Heard walked over to the fireplace and picked up a picture of himself with Carly and the boys. A single tear from fell his eyes as he heard the door open.

“Jason we need to talk about this and think of what we have to do next.” Sonny said without looking at the door.

“Sorry to disappoint you but I’m not Jason.” came the voice. Sonny turned around as soon as he recognized who was talking.

“Carly? How did you..”  Sonny began to say but Carly interrupted him.

“How did I get off the plane? Yeah we were lucky. We were standing in the corridor when the plane exploded. Emily had dropped something so everyone had stopped to wait for her. If we had gotten on that plane seconds earlier, I wouldn’t be standing here right now.” Carly said as she rushed over to her husband and jumped in his arms.

“Where is everyone else?” Sonny asked.

“Courtney went over to her and Jason’s penthouse, Mike, Bobbie and the boys went to Kelly’s, and Emily and Nik went to Windemere. So don’t worry, everyone is ok.” Carly said.

Meanwhile in Penthouse 2
“Jason?” Courtney said. She waited a second but got no response. She realized that he’d probably be over at Sonny’s so she went over there.

Penthouse 4
“Sonny where’s Jason?” Courtney said as she walked in.

“Courtney,” Sonny said as he walked over to her and hugged her. “I’m so glad that you and the baby are ok.”

“Me too but where did Jason go?” she asked again.

“Well we thought that we had lost all of you so he left and I think he went for a ride on his bike but I don’t know where.”

“Thanks, I’m gonna go wait over in my penthouse for him. Bye” Courtney said as she left.

Motel
Ric and AJ sat on a bed in Ric’s room watching the news.

“We have just gotten word that no one was killed because of the explosion. A few airport workers who were near the plane were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and are expected to be okay. For those who may have just tuned in, local mob boss Sonny Corinthos’ plane blew up today around 1:00 this afternoon. His wife Carly, there two sons Michael and Morgan, his mother-in-law Bobbie Spencer, his father Mike Corbin, his sister Courtney Corinthos who is married to his right-hand man Jason Morgan, Jason Morgan’s sister Emily and her fiancé Nikolas Cassedine were all on their way to the plane but they were fortunate enough to have not gotten on the plane. All are doing well. The police comminsionar Mac Scorpio says that there are still no suspects in this case. Back to you in the studio.” the reporter said.

“How the h*ll did they not get on the plane? What are we going to do now?!” AJ screamed.

“Shut up you moron! We don’t want people to hear us. Give me a day or two and I’ll figure out something.” Ric said.

“Yeah well you better because we have got to act quick.” AJ said.

“I know, don’t worry we will.” Ric said as AJ left.

Penthouse 2
A few hours later

Courtney lay on the couch asleep. She had waited about an hour for Jason but he hadn’t come home so she decided to take a little nap.

Jason opened the door and threw his keys on the desk. He walked over to the couch and sat down.

“Ouch” Courtney said as someone sat on her foot.

“Courtney?” Jason said as he jumped off the couch.

“Where have you been?” she asked him.

“How did you get off the plane?”

“I never made it on the plane in the first place. Emily dropped something and we all waited for her and while we stopped the plane blew up. Everyone is okay.” Courtney explained as she got up and kissed her husband.

“After I saw that plane go up in flames, I thought I had lost you forever.” Jason said as he and Courtney sat on the couch. Courtney put her head in his lap and he stroked her hair as they talked.

“Well you cant get rid of us that easily.” Courtney said as she placed her hand on her growing belly.

“I cant wait for our baby to come into this world.” Jason said.

“Neither can I” Courtney said.

“I love you so much.” Jason said.

“I love you too.” Courtney said as she kissed Jason.

Chapter 18
A month later
Ric and AJ haven’t put their new plan an action yet and have let the Corinthos and Morgan families alone for the past month.

Penthouse 4
“So you know the plan?” Carly asked Jason for the millionth time.

“Yes Carly I know what I’m supposed to do.” Jason said a little annoyed.

“Good” Carly said as Courtney came into Penthouse 4.

“Hey” she said as she wrapped her arms around her husband.

“Hey” he said.

“So Courtney what are you up to today?” Carly asked.

“Well Jason promised to take me out to lunch so lets go.” Courtney said.

“See ya later” Jason said as he winked at Carly and left with Courtney.

“Ready?” Sonny said as he came down the stairs with Michael and Morgan.

“You bet” Carly said as she and Sonny put their plan in action.

The park
Courtney and Jason just finished their lunch and were taking a walk in the park.

“You know what?” Courtney said.

“What?” Jason asked.

“I know that you are going to make an amazing father.” Courtney said.

“Well I think you are going to make an amazing mother.” Jason said as his cell phone rang.

“Morgan” Jason said.

“Its time” came the voice on the other line.

“Ok” Jason said as he hung up.

“Who was that?” Courtney asked.

“It was Sonny. He has something that he needs me to do so we need to go back to the penthouse.” Jason said.

“Ok” Courtney said.

Penthouse 4
Courtney and Jason stepped off the elevator and walked over to penthouse 4 and opened the door.

“SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!” came some voices.

“OMG” Courtney said as she looked around and saw everyone she loved.

“Do you like it?” Carly asked.

“I love it! I never expected a baby shower.” Courtney said as she hugged Carly.

“Well you have me to thank for it.” Carly said with a laugh.

“Were you in on this?” Courtney asked Jason.

“Yeah that’s why I took you out to lunch and it was actually Carly that called me when we were in the park.” Jason said.

Courtney punched him in the arm playfully before she went and took a seat on the couch.

“Present time” Michael said.

“Which one should we open first?” Courtney asked Jason as he took a seat next to her.

“Which ever one you want.” he said.

“Ok” Courtney said as she picked up a pink and blue wrapped present.

“Its heavy” Courtney said.

“I wonder what it could be.” Jason said as Courtney opened it.

“OMG, it’s a bomb!” Courtney cried as she looked at what was in her hands.
