Chapter 21
“I was wondering if Jason and I could go to the island for a little bit for a little vacation as soon as he is well enough to travel.” Courtney said.

“Of course” Sonny said.

“Ok good thanks” Courtney said.

“No problem. I actually go make the arrangements while Carly is in with Jason.” Sonny said.

“Thanks. I’ll see you in a little bit, I have to go call someone.” Courtney said.

“Ok bye” Sonny said as she and Courtney went their separate ways.

Courtney made her way over to the hospital desk and dialed the number she wanted.

“Hello” came the voice on the other end.

“Hey its Courtney”

“What’s up?”

“I have some good and bad news.”

“What happened?” the voice asked with worry filling the person’s voice.

“The bad news is that Jason was shot but the good news is that he is doing so much better and he is going to have a speedy recovery.”

“Oh I’m so glad he’s ok. Are you still at the hospital?”

“Yeah”

“Ok I’m on my way so just wait for me.” the voice said as the person hung up.

A few minutes later
Emily came running out of the elevator and hugged Courtney.

“Thanks for calling me” Emily said.

“You’re his sister, you have the right to know when something happens to your brother.” Courtney said as the two walked over to some chairs.

“Do you know who did this to him?”

“Yeah it was Ric and AJ but they’re dead now. Jason and Sonny went to this motel where they were staying and shot them but during all of that Jason was shot as well.”

“Wow”

“I know”

“You know what I just realized?”

“What?”

“Jason and Sonny each killed their own flesh and blood. Actually only half flesh and blood since they only share one parent each.”

“I never thought of it like that. Wow”

“I know. Well I am going to go see Jason if you don’t mind.”

“Be my guest. Tell Jason I’ll be back in a little bit.” Courtney said as she and Emily went their separate ways.

Courtney started walking towards the cafeteria when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She turned around but no one was there. She looked down and noticed a piece of paper. She bent down (well at least tried to since she was 6 ½ months pregnant) and grabbed the piece of paper. She unfolded it. It said:

This isn’t over yet

Courtney let out a little gasp and turned around and instead of going to the cafeteria she went to the elevator and made her way towards Sonny’s.

Penthouse 4
Sonny and Carly were laying on the couch sipping some wine and relaxing when they heard a knock on the door. Sonny got up and answered it to see his sister.

“Courtney what are you doing here?” Sonny asked as he moved aside and let his sister come in.

“Someone gave this to me at the hospital.” Courtney said as she handed the note to Sonny.

“What is it?” Carly asked she got up and walked over to them. Both she and Sonny read the note.

“Did you see who gave this to you?” Sonny asked.

“No, the person tapped me on the shoulder and when I turned around all that was there was this note on the ground.” Courtney said.

“Well I’ll figure out who gave this to you. I don’t either you or Jason worrying about this so lets not tell him. Ok?” Sonny said.

“Ok” the girls said in unison.

“Well I’m going to go back to the hospital and see Jason.” Courtney said as she made her way back to the door.

“Bye” all three said.

While Courtney was at penthouse 4, Jason and Emily were having a heart-to-heart talk at the hospital.

“What’s wrong?” Emily asked her older brother.

“What? Nothing” Jason replied.

“Come on, ever since I got here you’ve been daydreaming or something. Tell me the truth, what’s the matter?”

“I’ve been thinking about all the things that have been happening. Courtney getting kidnapped by Robin and Alcazar and then all of you getting kidnapped by Ric and AJ. I feel like I’m not protecting the ones that I love.” Jason admitted.

“You have got to be kidding me right. Jase, no one is perfect and if it wasn’t for you Courtney, Carly, me and so on wouldn’t be with our families and friends right now. So a few things happened that weren’t your fault. How the h*ll were you supposed to know that all four of those people would become crazy and mess with you and Sonny?” Emily said.

“Thanks”

“No problem. Well I’m gonna go see Nikolas. Courtney said she’d be back soon so get some rest.” Emily said as she gave Jason a kiss on the cheek and left just as Courtney came in. Emily and Courtney smiled at each other.

“Hey” Courtney said as she walked over and gave Jason a kiss.

“Hey” Jason said as she kissed her back.

“So Sonny got everything arranged for the trip to the island and as soon as you get out of here, we are on our way there.” Courtney explained.

“I cant wait”

“Neither can I”
