Chapter 25

Courtney’s Room

"Hey" Jason said as he walked into the room.

"Hi" Courtney said as he kissed her.

"The baby is doing fine. Dr. Mendoza said that she’s in the NICU right now but she is only there for precaution. Her lungs are small but she is breathing on her own." Jason said.

"So she’s going to be ok?" Courtney asked.

"It looks that way" Jason said.

"She needs a name" Courtney said.

"You’re right we can’t keep on calling her ‘she’" Jason said.

"Ok so what should we name her?" Courtney asked.

"I don’t know" Jason said.

"I like the name Briana for some reason." Courtney said.

"Briana Michelle Morgan" Jason said.

"I like it" Courtney said as Carly and Sonny came in.

"Sorry to interrupt but we were going to head back to Port Charles but we wanted to see you and the baby before we left." Carly said.

"Its ok, you guys came right after we decided on the name of our daughter." Courtney said.

"OH what is it?" Carly asked excitedly.

"Briana Michelle Morgan" Jason said.

"It has a nice ring to it" Sonny said.

"Well we just wanted to say hi and congrats but now we’ll leave the two of you alone. Bye" Sonny and Carly said as they hugged Courtney and Jason and left.

"I cant wait until we get to bring our daughter home." Courtney said.

"Neither can I" Jason said.

2 weeks later

Port Charles

Briana needed to stay in the hospital but now she was ok. Courtney, Jason and Briana are now in Port Charles and they are getting off the elevator.

"Carly wanted us to go see her, Sonny and the boys before we got settled in." Courtney said as the three of them knocked on the door of Penthouse 4.

"Come in" Carly yelled.

"SURPRISE" people yelled as the three of them walked in.

"Carly you threw us a party?!" Courtney said.

"Yeah is that ok?" Carly asked.

"Of course it is" Courtney said as the two friends hugged.

"Can I see my granddaughter?" Mike asked as he walked over to them.

"Of course Dad" Courtney said as they hugged and then Jason placed Briana’s carrier on the couch and Mike picked her up. (By the way she’s awake)

"She’s beautiful" Mike said as he rocked her in his arms.

"I know" Jason said.

"I’ll be right back" Courtney said as she walked over to Liz.

"Hey" they said as they hugged.

"Congrats" Liz said.

"Thanks, you know I don’t know if I’d be here right now if it weren’t for that night after I saw Robin and Jason together and we bumped into each and you helped me." Courtney said. (For those who don’t know or remember that is from Consequences)

"Hey what are friends for?" Liz said as Lucky came up to them and kissed Liz on the cheek.

"Are the two of you a…" Courtney began.

"a couple? Yup" Liz said as she finished Courtney’s sentence.

"For how long?" Courtney asked.

"About a month and a half and we’re very happy" Liz said as Lucky nodded in agreement.

"I’m happy for the two of you" Courtney said.

"Thanks" Liz and Lucky replied.

"Now if you’ll excuse me I want to get back to my baby" Courtney said as she walked away.

Meanwhile Sonny pulled Jason into the kitchen
"What is it Sonny?" Jason asked.

"I’m sorry to have to talk about business but I thought you’d like to know something" Sonny said.

"What?" Jason asked.

"I know who dropped that note at the hospital" Sonny said.
