Chapter 8
Kidnapped-3 (Emily, Mike, and Bobbie)

Nothing new happened during the day. Jason and Sonny had some leads on Ric but nothing actually led them to him. That night Jason and Sonny had to go do something but made sure that Max was watching Carly and the boys and Sean was with Courtney. Courtney was in the kitchen while Sean was in the living room.

"Sean can you come here for a second?" Courtney asked.

No answer

"Sean?"

No answer again.

‘That’s weird" Courtney thought to herself. She was getting a little freaked out so she decided to grab a knife just in case. She walked into the living room. She was shocked at what she saw before her.

Warehouse
"Sonny I just got some new info on Ric." Jason said as he got off the phone.

"What?"

"He isn’t working alone."

"You’re kidding"

"Nope and supposedly this guy that he is working with hates us and wants revenge against almost as much as Ric does."

"Ok try and find out who it is."

"I’m already working on it."

"Good, I’ll work on it too. Two minds are better than one."

"You got that right."

Penthouse 2
Sean lay on the floor in front of the couch with blood coming out of a wound on his head.

"OMG Sean!" Courtney said as she rushed over to him but before she could reach him, someone grabbed her. She turned her head a little and saw a man in a ski mask holding on to her. She swung the knife around and stuck it into his leg.

"You little b*tch!" AJ yelled as he grabbed his leg in pain.

Courtney tried to get away but it was too late. Another man came up from behind her and knocked her out.

Penthouse 4
Carly sat on the couch with Max.

"Do you hear that?" she asked.

"Hear what?" he asked.

"It sounds like someone is yelling over at Courtney’s."

"Now that you mention it I do hear something. Stay here while I go see what it is."

"No I am coming with you. Something could be wrong with Courtney and I need to make sure everything is alright."

Knowing that Carly would win in the end, Max just nodded as he and Carly went across the hall.

Penthouse 2
Carly and Max walked in.

"OMG!" Carly said as she saw Sean with a puddle of blood surrounding his head and a knife covered with blood on the floor.

"Call Sonny or Jason" Max said as he went to check on Sean.

"Where’s Courtney?"

"I don’t know"

"Courtney?!" Carly yelled but she got no answer.

"Ric must have struck again."

Carly walked over to the phone and dialed Sonny’s cell.

Warehouse
"Corinthos" Sonny said as he answered his phone.

"Sonny" Carly said, he voice shaking.

"Carly what’s wrong?" Sonny said concerned.

"Get home right now!" Carly said.

"Why, what happened?" Sonny asked but it was too late, Carly had already hung up.

"What’s wrong?" Jason asked.

"I don’t know but Carly sounded like she had been crying and said that we had to come home right away."

"What are we waiting for, lets go." Jason said as he and Sonny left unsure of what to think of the phone call.

Chapter 9
Kidnapped-4  (Emily, Mike, Bobbie and Courtney)

Sonny and Jason walked into Penthouse 4 to see Carly sitting on the couch.

"Carly" Sonny said as his wife ran up and hugged him and Jason.

"What happened? Where’s Courtney?" Jason asked.

"That’s just it, we don’t know where Courtney is." Carly said.

"What do you mean you don’t know where she is?" Jason asked as he got more worried.

"Well Max and I were in here when we heard something going on across the hall so we went over and saw Sean on the ground with blood around his head and a bloody knife on the ground. There was no sign of Courtney. I walked into the kitchen and it looked like Courtney was cooking something but never finished it." Carly explained.

"We need to see if the blood on the knife is Courtney’s." Sonny said.

"I’ll go do that right now." Max said as he left with the knife.

"Where’s Sean? We need to ask him what happened before you and Max got there." Sonny said.

"He’s at the hospital but Monica said that he should be able to come home tomorrow. They want to keep him overnight for observation." Carly said. She looked over at Jason and realized that he had been quiet ever since he found out about Courtney. Sonny noticed this too.

"Are you ok?" Sonny asked him.

"First he takes my sister, then my brother-in-law, then your mother and now the jacka** has my wife and unborn child." Jason screamed.

"I know how you feel right now. I felt the same way when Carly was kidnapped but we need to stay calm so we can think clearly and get them all home safely." Sonny said.

"I’ll leave so you two can talk business." Carly said as she left.

"What are we going to do next?" Jason asked a little more calmly.

"I think all we can do is wait for the test results on the blood on the knife. If the blood isn’t Courtney’s then we have proof that it was either Ric or his accomplice." Sonny said.

A few hours later
Sonny sat on the couch staring into space while Jason opted to look out the window. Carly came down the stairs with Michael and Morgan.

"They came downstairs to say goodnight." Carly said.

"Come here buddy." Sonny said to Michael.

He hugged him and Morgan. Jason did the same.

"Uncle Jason what’s wrong?" Michael asked.

"I’m just tired." Jason lied.

"Where’s Aunt Courtney?"

"She went to visit Grandpa Mike." Carly said.

"Can I go visit Grandpa too?"

"No, he’s gonna be coming back real soon and then you can see him." Sonny said.

"Why didn’t they say goodbye?"

"They wanted to but they had to leave asap." Carly said hoping that it would sound some what believe able to her young son.

"What does asap mean?"

"As soon as possible" Jason said.

Michael was about to say something else but was interrupted by his mother.

"Enough with all the questions? Its time for you to go to bed Mr. Man."

"Ok goodnight" Michael said to his uncle and father as he, Morgan and Carly walked upstairs. Max walks in.

"I have the results." he said.

"Good, who did the blood belong to?" Sonny asked.

"You’re never going to believe this, the blood belongs to AJ Quartermaine."

"He is Ric’s accomplice." Jason said.

"He still hates us for taking Michael away from him." Sonny said.

"I gotta go" Jason said as he headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" Sonny asked.

"I need to be alone right now to think about some stuff. I’ll be back later."

Sonny was about to say something else but it was too late, Jason was already out the door.

Jason hopped on his bike and headed to the loft. He knew that he had to be strong for Courtney and their unborn child but deep down inside this was killing him.
