~Chapter 39~
*General Hospital*
After Leah and Lucky left for the airstrip; Samuel, Jason, Courtney, Sonny and
Carly all stood in silence, glancing around at each other for around 15 minutes
before Sonny decided to speak up.
“So… You’re going to be a dad huh” he said to Samuel, who turned pale as his
eyes widened. Jason scoffed loudly and shook his head at Sonny’s question.
“Who isn’t?” he asked sarcastically as Courtney slapped him across the chest.
Everyone was too wrapped up in the Leanna/Baby situation to notice that Dr.
Meadows had made her way over to them, with a small paper bag in hand.
“Excuse me, I’m looking for a Mr. Ransetti?” she asked loudly, as they all
quieted down and turned to her.
“That would be me” Samuel said softly, raising his hand as Dr. Meadows nodded
and handed the bag to him.
“This is your wife’s Prenatal Vitamins, along with the date of her next check
up” she explained as Samuel furrowed his brow.
“What do the Vitamins do?” he asked confusedly as she placed her hands
together. “Well, they provide nutrients to the mother’s body which the-…” she
started, interrupting herself as she noticed the clueless look on his face.
“They help your baby grow” she said simply as his face brightened and he
nodded, opening up the bag as the Doctor walked away.
“Moron” Carly muttered softly as Sonny shot her a look.
“Should I go in there?” Samuel asked uncertainly, motioning to the Curtain that
led to Leanna’s cubical as Courtney snorted.
“No, just leave the mother of your child alone in a cold isolated Box.” She said,
rolling her eyes as everyone gave her a questioning look. “Get your ass moving”
she cried, stepping forward and pushing him towards the curtain as he stumbled.
“Do you want us to stay with you?” Sonny asked worriedly, seeing the terrified
look on his friends face.
“No, I’m sure we’ll be ok… I mean there are doctors, so if she hurts me I’ll be
able to get help quickly before she has the chance to do some real damage.” He
said thoughtfully as Sonny smiled.
“Alright, we’ll send a car for you; just give us a call at the penthouse when
she can get checked out.” He said, grabbing a hold of Carly’s hand and heading
towards the exit as Courtney did the same with Jason, who saluted Samuel before
they disappeared out of sight.
He took a deep breath and pushed away the white cotton curtain, walking in to
see a woman with her legs propped up in hurdles, about to give birth.
“Son of a bitch!!!” he yelled. His hands clutching his face as the woman let
out a blood curdling scream.
He slapped his hand of his eyes and ran as fast as he could in any direction
away from the cubicle.
“Oh my dear god” he muttered helplessly to himself, balling his hands into two
tight fists as he fought back tears. “I think this is a sign… I’m officially
screwed” he said, as he looked around. He was startled to hear a voice come
from behind him.
“Excuse me, are you lost?” a woman with dark brown hair wearing light blue
scrubs asked him as he turned around.
“Uh yeah, I’m looking for a patient… Leanna Rans-…” he started, then realizing
that she would have most likely changed her name, after believing they were
divorced. “Corinthos, Leanna Corinthos” he finished, hoping that the young
woman would be able to point him in the right direction, before he walked in on
anything else that would most likely scar him for the rest of his life.
“She has been moved to Room 118, it’s on the 3rd floor” she told him as he
nodded gratefully and headed to the elevators.
*Corinthos Jet*
Max Drove Lucky and Leah the 45 minutes it took to get from General Hospital,
all the way to Midtown Manhattan, dropping them off along with their luggage at
the entrance of the building that led to the launch ramp where Sonny kept his
Jet. Max then gave them his regards and drove back to his post at Harbor View
Towers. They walked up to the doorway, only to be stopped by a burly man with
the name “Chester” printed on the front of his shirt.
“You can’t go past here” he said in a gruff voice as Lucky suddenly became
worried.
“Why the hell not?” Leah asked in a stern yet calm tone.
“This is a secure area, and we have strict rules from our boss that we are not
to let any bystanders enter the premises.” He said dignifiedly as Leah dropped
her bag at Lucky’s feet and walked towards the man.
“Uh oh” Lucky thought as he watched his wife.
“Well Chester, has your boss… Mr. Corinthos I presume” she said, looking at him
expectantly as he nodded in reply. “… Has he mentioned anything about a little
sister?” she asked, talking slowly so that she kept him along with the
conversation.
“As a matter of fact, he has… Both of them actually, they are his pride and
joy, along with his wife and children.” He said knowingly as Leah nodded.
“Alright, and did he say anything about what he would do if someone were to
hurt one of his sisters?” she asked, thoroughly enjoying her interrogation as
Lucky watched with amusement.
“He said that he would be more than happy to “settle” the unfinished business,
ending with the culprit in a body bag.” He said uneasily as Leah smiled cunningly.
“Ah I see... Alright well, I think the question to be asked now is, do you
prefer Paper or Plastic?” she asked, daggers shooting from her eyes as the man
recognized the similarity between this young woman and his boss and realized
who she really was.
“Miss… Leah I-…” he fumbled, looking utterly shocked as she rolled her eyes.
“That’s Mrs. Spencer to you” she said warningly as he nodded quickly. “I hope
you realize that not allowing me to fly on my brother’s jet, which he is well
aware of, is technically hurting me… and like you said yourself… Sonny doesn’t
like it when people try to hurt his sisters.” She said, her eyes flashing with
anger as Lucky bit down on his lip to keep from laughing.
The Guard was now utterly speechless as Leah stood in front of him, her hands
on her hips, watching him closely.
“Do you have a problem with me using this jet?” she asked, pointing past him to
the large black state of the art plane. He swallowed hard and shook his head
quickly, hoping to avoid angering her even more than she already was.
She nodded, as if to say ‘good answer’ and motioned for Lucky to pick up her
bag and follow her as she walked up to the base of the stairs, leading to the
launch ramp.
*PH 2*
Jason walked through the door to his and Courtney’s penthouse as she walked to
the couch, setting Jason’s motorcycle keys down on her way.
She sighed tiredly and sat down on the left side, undoing her stilettos before
propping her aching feet up onto a pillow in front of her.
Jason watched her closely, admiring her beauty, while noticing how tired she
looked. He made his way over and sat down next to her, reaching over while
scooting her onto his lap as she stretched out her arms and wrapped them around
his neck.
Once they were situated, Jason looked up to get a good look at her face, making
eye contact with her as she gave him a weak smile.
“What’s wrong?” he asked with concern, bringing his hand up to cup her cheek as
she melted into his touch.
“Nothing’s wrong” she lied, bringing her arms down from his neck and looking
down at her hands.
“Liar” Jason stated bluntly as she looked up, taking aback from his comment.
“Excuse me?” she asked in shock as he stared at her.
“You heard me” he said simply as she gave him the death stare. “You look like
your cat just got hit by a truck” he told her as she frowned at his
terminology.
She sighed again, knowing that she wasn’t going to get anywhere with Jason by
arguing and decided to just talk to him about the way she was feeling.
“I just…” She started, trying to think of how to put everything that she was
feeling into words as he encouraged her to continue by rubbing his thumb over
the back of her hand. “I just feel bad that my sister didn’t get to enjoy her
wedding reception…” she said sadly as Jason raised an eyebrow in confusion.
“Are you talking about Carly, or Leah?” he asked as she giggled and slapped his
arm playfully.
“Leah! Even though Carly was devastated.” she said as Jason chuckled and nodded
in agreement.
Their laughter subsided as the room went into another laps of silence. Jason
watched her out of the corner of his eye, while she took a piece of her hair
and started twisting it around her finger.
“This is boring…” Courtney said, breaking the silence as Jason burst out laughing.
“Wow, aren’t you blunt” he said sarcastically as she smiled.
“Who do you think I get it from” she said with a wink as he shook his head in
amusement.
“I have something to show you” he said suddenly as she broke out into a Grin.
“What is it?!” she shrieked excitedly as Jason pretended to zip his lips,
stating that he wasn’t going to give away the secret. She groaned as he jumped
off the couch and grabbed her hand, motioning for her to cover her eyes as they
headed for the stairs.
*General Hospital*Room 118*
Samuel stepped off of the Elevator and walked down the hall to room 118. He
looked through the glass window and saw Leanna, sitting tucked in her bed,
eating happily from her Jell-O cup. He smiled to himself and walked up to the
door, pulling it open just as she looked up to see who had come to visit her.
She was so surprised to see him that she forgot to swallow the amount of food
that was in her mouth and started coughing and sputtering. Samuel immediately
rushed to her bed, and patted her back firmly to get the Jell-O out of her
system. Once she was able to breath freely again, she looked up at him, almost
as if she was afraid to read his reaction about her pregnancy.
“Are you ok?” he asked with worry as she nodded. He took a deep breath and
watched her she brushed her fingers through her hair.
“Lans, I know about the baby” he said, causing her eyes to widen. He was never
the type to come out and say what was bothering him, but this time it was what
was bothering her, which was twice as frightening.
“How do you know?” she asked worriedly, as he cleared his throat.
“Dr. Meadows told everyone, she ran some tests after you passed out.” He told
her as she choked back a sob.
“And so what, you hate me now right?!” she cried irritably, causing him to jump
from her outburst.
“Why would I hate you?” he asked, trying to make eye contact with her as she
stared down at her bed sheet.
“Because I left you… I divorced you only because I was too scared to tell you
that you were going to be a father… I ran away from us, Samuel” she said, her
voice giving off the impression that she wasn’t mad at him, only at herself for
the choices that she made.
“Hold on... What divorce are you talking about?” he asked, slowly revealing the
big secret that he himself had been keeping.
“Ours… I signed the papers before I left... I thought that you-…” she started,
staring at him. He gently shook his head as her eyes widened again.
“I never signed them” he said to her, acting like it was no big deal as she
gaped at him.
“Why the hell not!” she cried as a smile crept onto his face.
“I love you… it’s that simple” he said, causing her to be taken aback by his
statement.
“But why…” she said, her voice fading as tears started falling rapidly from her
eyes. “I don’t deserve to be married to you” she said, crying into her hands as
he shifted his position closer to her and started rubbing her back soothingly.
“Shouldn’t I be saying that?” he asked, as she sniffled and gave him a look.
“Why are you so calm?” she asked suspiciously, as he chuckled.
“Because I already freaked out in the waiting room…” he said, causing her to
giggle through her remaining tears. “So what do you want to do about…” he said,
motioning towards her stomach just as Dr. Meadows walked through the door.
“Ah, Mr. Ransetti, I see you found the correct room, yes?” she asked with an
amused look on her face as Samuel buried his face in his hands.
“Ms. Corinthos, I wanted to drop off the rest of your information from the
tests that we ran.” She said, changing the subject as she turned to face Leanna
who had a curiuse look on her face.
“What kind of information?” she asked, fidgeting with her hands as Samuel
watched her.
“Well, there’s the sex of your baby... and your due date… Just the basics” she
said with a smile as both Samuel and Leanna raised their eyebrows.
“How did you find that out?” Leanna asked as The Doctor crossed her arms over
her chest.
“Through a sonogram… we took it while you were sleeping to make sure that your
baby was ok.” She explained.
“Do you want to know?” Samuel asked Leanna as she bit her lip. She simply
nodded in response as the doctor adjusted her glasses and took out the sheet of
paper.
“Well, According to this… you two are expecting a healthy baby Boy.” She said,
smiling at them once again as Leanna’s face lit up.
“Oh my god… Samuel, it’s a boy” she said, tears forming in her eyes as she
grinned brightly.
“Our boy” he said, kissing the side of her head as he felt the joy well up in
him.
“Congratulations… He should be here around December 3rd” Dr. Meadows said,
giving them a slight nod as she left them alone.
“I want this baby Samuel” Leanna said suddenly as Samuel grinned.
“Are you sure?” he asked, wanting to know that she was serious about keeping
their child.
“Positive, I want to give him the life he deserves…” she said honestly as he
grabbed a hold of her hand.
“I love you Leanna… and I always will... but if you don’t want to be with me,
then do you think I can at least have visitation righ-…” he started as she
opened her mouth in shock.
“Samuel, you actually think I would take your child away from you?” she asked,
hurt spreading over her face as Samuel tried to think of a way to fix this.
*Corinthos Jet*
Leah led Lucky up the stairwell, only to be stopped by a woman with light
blonde hair at the barrier that connected the tunnel to the plane entrance.
“Excuse me, do you need something?” the Woman asked as Leah sighed in
frustration.
“Yeah, I need to get the hell on the Jet before I shoot someone” she said
warningly as Lucky stepped in front of her.
“Baby, calm down.” He told her before turning to the woman.
“My brother In-law Sonny is lending us his Jet, we are supposed to be going on
our honeymoon” he said as she raised an eyebrow, obviously unconvinced.
“Do you have a statement or an ID to prove it?” she asked with a smirk as Leah
balled her hands up into fists.
“Bitch, we don’t need an ID! But your gunna need a miracle by the time I finish
with you…” she said as the woman became frightened. “I mean, do you have any
idea who yo-…” she started again as someone stepped up to them.
“They have my authority to be here Stacey.” Sonny said firmly as Lucky gasped.
“Bubby!” Leah squealed as Lucky bent over to take a deep breath.
“Dude, you scared the crap out of me” Lucky said to his brother in-law who
chuckled as he hugged his baby sister.
“Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be with Carly?” Leah asked him as he kissed
the top of her head while she tried to swat him away.
“She’s eating Chunky monkey, and Chester called about some woman who was
threatening his life...” he said, raising an eyebrow as Leah avoided his gaze.
“Chester is a little crazy, you should have Stan check him out better” she told
him as Sonny shook his head, trying to hide the smile that was pulling at his
lips.
“Alright, well I have to get back, But everything should be in order now, right
Stacey?” he asked, turning to his employee who had stayed silent through the
entire conversation. She nodded rather quickly, which he caught, as he eyed her
suspiciously. “Good… bye sis” he said, kissing her cheek before walking down
the stairs.
“Bye bubby!” she cried excitedly while pushing through the door to the launch
ramp.
“Bye bitch!” she said, waving to Stacey as Lucky groaned and pushed her away
from the young woman.
“Honey, lets just go please” he said in a begging tone as she smiled and walked
down the path to the Jet’s entrance.
Once they made is safely on board, Lucky set the bags up in one of the cargo
spaces and helped Leah onto the Couch, making sure that she was buckled in.
“Lucky, stop being so paranoid” she accused, slapping his hands away as he gave
her a look.
“I’m just making sure your ok while we ride on this flying death trap” he said
defensively as she burst out laughing.
“Baby, are you scared of flying?” she asked, grinning at him as he blushed.
“Kind of…” he said as a voice came over the intercom.
“Alright Mr. and Mrs. Spencer, we are now taking off and we’ll be in Bermuda before
you know it.” The Pilot said as Leah clapped her hands and pressed the talk
button.
“Thank you!” she screamed into the speaker as a loud groan could be heard from
the other line causing Lucky to smile to himself in amusement.
*PH 2*Morgan Baby Room*
“Jason, where are you taking me?” Courtney squealed as Jason kept his hands
covering her eyes while ushering her towards the nursery.
“You’ll see… we’re almost there” he assured her as she whimpered with
impatience.
Once they reached the doorway, Jason got the key out of his pocket and quickly
unlocked the door, slowly pushing it open to reveal the neatly decorated Winnie
the Pooh nursery.
“Ok, open you eyes” he said, taking his hands down as she jerked her eyes open.
“JASON!!!!!!!!!” she screamed, as she started jumping up and down. She ran
around the room, surveying ever little detail from the Crib, to the changing
table. When she was done with her inspection, she ran over to Jason and jumped
into his arms, kissing every inch of his face that she could.
Jason started laughing as she continued to kiss him, only to then interrupt his
laughter as her lips came crashing down on his. He held onto her tightly, as
she wrapped her legs around his waste, pulling away as the need for air became
apparent.
“I love you so much” she said, trying her best to hold back her tears as Jason
brushed the fallen hair from her face.
He was about to respond when her eyes started bulging and she jumped off of
Jason.
“Court what’s wrong?” he asked, scared out of his mind as Courtney started
laughing.
“Our baby is kicking” she said, giggling profusely as Jason chuckled.
“And how is that funny?” he asked, bringing his hand to her stomach as he felt
his daughter moving.
“Don’t question me” she said sternly as he frowned before kissing her firmly on
the mouth.
“I love you” he said sweetly before bending down on his knees. “I love you too
Princess” he said to her stomach as Courtney bit her lip to keep from crying.
“Jase, come on… There’s something I want to show you now” she said, wiggling
her eyebrows suggestively as Jason looked up at her in surprise.
“Hallelujah” he said, grinning as she giggled and helped him up before racing
him to their bedroom.
*General Hospital*Room 118*
“Leanna, of course I don’t think you would take my child away.. I just meant
that if you don’t want to be wi-…” Samuel started to say as she held her hand
up.
“Sam, I want you… I want us” she said shakily as he broke out into the biggest
grin imaginable.
“Are you sure?” he asked again as she gave him a look.
“Why do you keep asking me that?” she asked, giggling slightly as he shrugged.
“Just checking” he said, smiling at her as she scooted closer to him.
“Well, Yes I’m sure.” She said, her hand caressing his cheek as she leaned in
and kissed him passionately. The desire for each other apparent as he wrapped
his arms around her waist and held on for dear life.
As soon as they pulled away, they pressed their foreheads together, their arms
still around each other as Monica walked in.
“Oh! I... um...” she stumbled as Leanna and Samuel pulled apart, adjusting
their clothing.
“Doctor Q! What a nice surprise” Leanna said, smiling embarrassedly as Monica
did the same.
“I’m sorry for interrupting, but I just wanted to drop by your release papers
before I end my shift.” She said as Samuel cleared his throat.
“Oh thank god! No offence, but hospitals scare the crap out of me” Leanna said
as Samuel nodded.
“Me too” he said, shaking his head as Monica chuckled.
“It’s quite alright, I can understand where your coming from. Just drop the
form off before you head out” she told them before opening the door.
“Thank you!” Samuel and Leanna called out to her in unison.
“Well…” she said, looking up at him as he gave her is signature smile. “Got a
pen?” she asked, laughing softly as Samuel did the same while pulling a Ball
point out of his pocket.
“Lets get you out of here baby” he said, placing his hand on her stomach while
handing her the pen as she started to fill out the form.
*Bermuda Air Strip*
“Alright guys, we’re landing, please take your seats.” The pilot said as the
plane started to descend.
“Leah!! Hurry!” Lucky cried, knocking on the bathroom door before rushing to
his seat.
She unlocked the door and opened it, scowling at Lucky as she walked over to
the couch. “Excuse me for relieving myself master, but if you haven’t heard, I
have two small pumpkins weighing down my bladder.” She said smartly as he
rolled his eyes and checked to make sure that she was buckled in.
“I have my seat belt Lucky!! God dam-…” she started when the plane started
shaking profusely.
“Oh my god, we’re going to die!!!” Lucky screamed, clutching onto his wife who
shook her head. “Baby, I love you!” he cried, shutting his eyes tightly as
Leah’s _expression softened.
“Lucky, Lucky! Open your eyes Honey, we’re just landing” she said soothingly as
he opened his left eye. “I love you too” she said as he opened his other eye
and kissed her softly.
“I’m sorry for spazing on you” he apologized as she tried not to laugh.
“I’m sorry for yelling at you…” she said, giving him her innocent look as he
smiled.
“Lets go enjoy our honeymoon” he said, standing up now that the plane was on
steady ground and helped his bride up from her seat.
“You know, I’m glad we went before I got all fat like Carly” she said playfully
as Lucky gasped.
“You are so lucky she’s not here with us, or you’d be leaving paradise in a
body bag” he said as she gave him a questioning look.
“Yeah, or she would… which ever one” she said, shrugging as he laughed and
helped her out of the plane.

~Chapter 40~
*PH 4*
After Max pulled into the parking garage of Harbor View Towers, Samuel opened
the door and helped Leanna out, keeping her steady in case she became dizzy
again, and grabbed an elevator to take the two up to Penthouse 4.
Looking slightly apprehensive of walking back into the penthouse, Leanna stood
anxiously awaiting the sound of the bell ringing, to signify their arrival. “I
just want to get it all out in the open” she thought to herself as she felt
Samuels’s warm breath on her neck.
“Everything will be ok; I’ll be right by your side the entire time” he said
softly into her ear as she immediately felt herself become at ease. “Besides,
what are you so worried about?” he asked questioningly as she sighed and closed
her eyes.
“I’m just afraid that everyone will think badly about me, you know, since I
left you and now that we’re back together” she said, looking pained as she
thought about their separation.
“Well that’s just you being paranoid again… another thing you got from Sonny”
Samuel pointed out as Leanna scoffed and rolled her eyes.
“Don’t remind me” she said, as Samuel smiled amusedly and wrapped his arms
around her just as the elevator doors opened into the hallway.
“You ready?” he asked her, making sure that she was emotionally prepared for
their confrontation beforehand.
She nodded in response, taking a firm hold of Samuels hand as the two walked up
to the wooden door.
She jumped ahead of him as he was about to knock, and took it upon herself to
open the door, walking cautiously in as they came face to face with Sonny.
“Hey Cuz, Feeling better?” he asked her before grabbing a pen from the desk and
tossing it to Carly, who was seated at the couch with a stack of papers in her
lap.
“Uh yeah... Thanks for asking Sonny” Leanna said, clearing her throat as Carly
glanced up.
“Hey Lana” she said, waving enthusiastically as Leanna smiled. “Oh, real quick…
I wanted to ask you guys this since you walked through the door two minutes
ago.” She said, shifting her work over and standing up as Leanna backed up
until she came in contact with Samuels firm Chest.
“Are you two finally together or do I have to unleash Carlybabes?” Carly asked,
squinting her eyes mysteriously at them as Samuel bit his lip.
“No honey, no need for Carlybabes… Samuel and I are together again… This time,
for good” Leanna said, looking up at Samuel before he leaned in and placed a
gentle kiss on her lips.
“Finally” Sonny said, smiling at the two as Carly started shrieking happily.
“Oh my god!!! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!” she screamed, rushing around
the couch as she performed a little happy dance before rushing back to the
couple and her husband, who were now laughing from her little performance.
“Do I get to plan another wedding?” she asked convincingly as Leanna and Samuel
both quickly shook their heads.
“Carly, we’re already married” Leanna said as Carly held up her hand.
“So were Sonny and I but that didn’t stop us” She said, folding her arms across
her chest as Leanna groaned while both Samuel and Sonny tried to stifle their
laughter by stuffing their fists into their mouths.
“Forget it Carly” Leanna said firmly as Carly threw her hands up in the air.
“You know what, fine! I have other things to plan anyways, like a reception for
when Lucky and Leah get ho-…” she started before she was quickly interrupted by
a confused Leanna.
“Didn’t you already throw them a reception?” she asked, giving her friend a
weird look.
“Uh yeah, but someone passed out and ruined it, so now I have to throw another
one.” Carly said in a sassy tone while plopping back down onto the couch and
grabbing her papers.
Leanna just scowled at Carly while Sonny and Samuel stood away, watching them.
“Should we say something to them?” Samuel asked quietly while Sonny shook his
head.
“Not unless you want to die a slow and painful death” he said pointedly as
Samuel swallowed hard.
“Got it, thanks” he said with a hint of sarcasm as they continued to watch
their wives.
“… Ok Carly, I don’t give a shit whether you use Paradise or a luau as your
theme for the reception… I mean god, don’t you think that instead of having
another party, maybe you should focus on planning Courtney and Jason’s
wedding?” Leanna asked, clearly frustrated as Carly narrowed her eyes.
“Are you trying to stress me out or something? What the hell is wrong with you!”
she cried as Sonny ran over to them.
“Ladies! Let’s not argue now ok? Carly, Leanna just came home from the
hospital; maybe you two should be talking about something else other than
parties and weddings.” He said, hoping to clear the air as Carly furrowed her
brows.
“What else is there to talk about?” she asked as Samuel stepped forward.
“You could talk about how you’re both expecting-…” he started, before being
hastily interrupted by Carly.
“Expecting what?” she asked, looking at him like he was an idiot as Sonny
chuckled to himself.
“He means that you could both talk about your pregnancies.” Sonny told her as
she gasped while turning to Leanna.
“You’re pregnant?!” she asked in shock as Leanna rubbed her hand over her face.
“Yeah Carly, you were there” she said as Carly raised an eyebrow at her.
“Where was I?” she asked as Leanna’s face turned red.
“At the hospital when Dr. Meadows told Samuel.” She explained as Carly’s face
brightened up slightly.
“wow, my memory really does suck” she said, turning to look at her husband who
smiled understandingly at her.
“Alright then, Sit down” Carly said reluctantly, taking a deep breath and
motioning for Leanna to sit down. The family was now expecting 5 little bundles
of joy, and they all had some serious baby shopping to accomplish.
* PH 2 *
Jason opened his eyes to the sunlight that was streaming into the room and
looked down at the blonde angel in his arms. He felt her shift beneath his
grasp and he brought his mouth down to her ear.
“I never knew that you could do that” he whispered causing her to giggle while
turning herself around in his arms.
“Yeah, well there’s a lot of stuff I haven’t shown you yet” she said, kissing
his bare chest as shivers ran down his spine.
“Woman, the things you do to me” he said, shaking his head as she laughed and
kissed him on the lips softly.
They laid together, gazing into each others eyes, before Courtney spoke up.
“Jase, have you thought about what you want to name your daughter?” she asked,
watching him as he thought to himself.
“Not recently…” he said innocently as Courtney rolled her eyes.
“Great, thanks for all your help Jason” she said in a fake annoyed tone as he
frowned.
“Well what about you? Have you thought of anything?” he asked as a grin swept
onto her face.
“Maybe” she said mysteriously, the excitement practically pouring out of her as
Jason smiled.
“Spill” he said simply, sitting up as Courtney laughed and followed suit.
“ok... I was thinking, and it’s just a suggestion!” she started, giving him a
look as he nodded and waited for her to continue. “… ok, would you be
interested in naming our daughter after my sister?” she asked, biting her lip
In worry as he stared at her.
*Cambridge Beaches Resort*
“Lucky, why won’t you just tell me where we are?” Leah asked in a whiny tone,
looking out the window of their Limo as Lucky sighed.
“Baby, I’m trying to make this Romantic ok, will you just cooperate and I’ll
tell you when we get to the hotel?” he asked, a pitiful look appearing on his
face as Leah shrugged unwillingly.
“Fine” she said, folding her arms across her chest as the driver pulled into a
Parking lot outside of a beautiful hotel.
“Wait, is that a beach?!” Leah asked loudly, turning around in her seat as she
gazed out of the back window.
“Yes Leah, it is.” Lucky confirmed smiling as the look of pure joy spread
across his wife’s face.
“With an ocean?” she asked, turning to him as he burst out laughing.
“The Ocean’s included” he told her as she grinned and returned to her seat,
just as the limo came to a stop outside the front of the resort. The Driver
opened his door and made his way to the back, where he got out there luggage,
setting it on the sidewalk.
“Here we are” The driver said as Leah opened the door and flew out of the car.
“Thank you sir” Lucky said, handing the man some money for his tip as he nodded
and walked back to the limo.
“Come on baby, let’s go” Lucky said, grabbing Leah’s hand as she tried to take
in all of the location that she could while Lucky dragged her inside.
“Hello, how can I help you?” A young woman asked behind the service counter as
Lucky stood in front of her while Leah held onto the cart that was carrying
their luggage.
“Hi, I made reservations for a Deluxe suite, the name is Lucky Spencer” he told
her, taking out Sonny’s credit Card in the process.
“Alright, and was that a King sized bed or did you want two twin beds?” she
asked, looking up from her computer as he leaned over the counter.
“One king” he said, turning around to check on Leah, who had found herself a
seat across from them, chatting frivolously with a 5 year old who was waiting
for his parents.
“I’m sorry sir; I don’t see a Lucky Spencer on here…” the woman told him,
frowning slightly as he shook his hands.
“The room is under Lucky Spencer, the Bill is to be payed by Michael Corinthos
Jr.” he said as she nodded understandingly.
“Alright then, we’re going to have to send the bill to him after your stay is
over, for security reasons” she told him as he shrugged and tucked the card
back into his shirt pocket.
“Fine by me” he said as she handed him over a set of keys and a sheet of paper
with the room accommodations attached.
“Enjoy your stay” she told him with a smile as he thanked her and walked over
to Leah.
“Sweetie, I got our keys, are you ready to go up?” Lucky asked, interrupting
Leah’s conversation that she had been having as she got up reluctantly.
“Sure, bye Brady” she said, waving to the little boy that she had been talking
to as he gave her a grin and a wink before walking away.
“What the hell was that?” Lucky asked her, watching the 5 year old walk away
with a smug look on his face.
“oh Lucky, are you jealous?” she asked amusedly, biting her lip seductively as
she walked over to the elevators with Lucky wheeling the Luggage cart.
“Jealous… Me?” he asked, scoffing as she rolled her eyes and pressed the up
button.
“What floor is it?” she asked as the doors opened and the couple stepped
inside.
“4th” he said simply as she pressed the correct button, holding onto the steel
bar next to her for support as she became dizzy.
“Whoa baby, are you ok?” Lucky asked, seeing the look on his wife’s face as she
reached over and grabbed his hand.
“I’m Pregnant remember? It’s just motion sickness, it’ll pass” she said, partly
to herself as she shut her eyes and waited for the Elevator to stop.
Lucky rubbed her back silently, keeping her up right as he tried to use his
foot as an anchor to make sure that the Luggage didn’t roll away.
“about f*cking time” Leah mumbled as the Elevator came to a halt and the doors
opened into a hallway. Lucky’s eyes widened with worry as he silently prayed
that the pregnancy hormones wouldn’t get in the way of them “having a good
time”.
“ok honey, which room?” Leah asked sweetly as Lucky joined her out in the hall.
Completely surprised by her mood change, he decided to just shrug it off and
answer her question before she snapped.
“Ours is number 232” he read to her from the information sheet in his hand as
she looked around at the doors until she found the correct room.
“got it!” she cried, rushing over to it and putting her hand on it as if
someone was about to come and steal it from her. “Hurry Lucky! Boy, am I good
or what?” she said to herself, shaking her head as Lucky smiled and rushed over
with their luggage and took out the key.

“Jase?” Courtney asked, looking slightly worried since he hadn’t said anything
ever since she mentioned naming the baby after her sister.
“huh?” he said, jerking his head up as she gave him a weird look. “oh Sorry I
was just… uh, what did you say?” he asked, shaking his head as she sighed
deeply.
“I was asking you if you would mind naming the baby after my sister.” She said
impatiently, still looking slightly worried as he started to smile.
“you want to name the baby Carly?” Jason asked as Courtney gaped at him.
“I said after my sister, not my crazy sister in-law” she stated as Jason
chuckled.
“Ok, so what were you thinking?” he asked, looking enthused as Courtney
blushed.
“Well, I wanted to name her Leah, since my sister keeps going on about how this
baby is special because she’s a Journey baby….” She started as Jason laughed
softly and nodded. “ … and then her middle name could be Emily, after your
sister… because I know it would mean a lot to her and I thought she deserved to
have a baby be named after her, you know, one out of five” she said, rolling
her eyes playfully as Jason took a hold of her hand.
“I think that our daughter is going to have the most beautiful name out of all
the babies in this family” he said, kissing her softly as she started to
giggle.
“What about Madison?” she asked, referring to one of their unborn nieces as
Jason sighed.
“Honey, I’m just trying to be biased here.” He said sarcastically as she
slapped him on the arm.
“Ha ha… but really, do you like the name?” she asked, changing the subject
within the blink of an eye as Jason brought her hand up to his mouth and kissed
it.
“I love the name” he said honestly as she smiled at him. “Leah Emily Morgan…
It’s beautiful, just like I said” he told her in a bragging tone as she gave
him a warning look before sliding on top of him and kissing him firmly on the
mouth.
“mmmmm, again?” he asked excitedly as she laughed.
“Yes again, you have a problem with that?” she asked, covering them with their
sheet as she kissed his shoulder.
“Not at all” he told her, closing his eyes and smiling as Courtney went to
work.
* Cambridge Beaches Resort *
Leah stood in the open doorway, staring at the sight in front of her with
complete shock written on her face. The room was almost twice the size of
Sonny's penthouse and it was neatly decorated with sea shells, beads and water
mosaics.
"Oh My God" Leah said softly to herself, her hands clutching her
chest as she gazed around the suite.
Lucky smiled at his wife's reaction and placed their bags inside before taking
her hand. He led her into the room, setting her down into one of the living
room chairs as he handed her a pamphlet.
"Reading Material?" she asked Smartly as Lucky pursed his lips
together and gave her a trying look. She furrowed her brow and flipped the
pamphlet open, only to see the words 'Bermuda' printed on the front in big
letters.
She looked up at him, her _expression blank which caused Lucky to become
worried. Walking towards him, she tossed the pamphlet aside and narrowed her
eyes at him before she pounced, pushing him to the ground while wrapping her
arms around his neck as he let out a yelp.
She started shrieking incontrollably as her grip around him tightened. He
pushed them both up to a sitting position right as she burst into tears.
"Oh god, Baby whats wrong?" he asked, cupping her face into his hands
as she sobbed.
"Nothing, I just love you so much" she said, sniffling as tears
traveled rapidly down her cheeks.
Lucky smiled gently as he leaned in to kiss her, one hand holding onto her face
as the other went around her waist. Leah sighed into the kiss just as the Door
to the suite swung open and one of the Hotel's Concierge walked in
unexpectedly.
"Oh Dea-..." he started, turning around as the couple jumped up from
their spot on the floor. "I'm deeply sorry, I just wanted to come and see
if you two needed anything." he asked, his face slowly turning red as Leah
bit her lip to keep from laughing... They had been caught.
"We're fine thank you" Lucky said firmly, scowling at the man as Leah
slapped him on the arm.
"We'll be sure to let you know if we need anything." she added
sweetly as the man nodded and rushed out of the room, shutting the door behind
him.
"Nice going" Leah said, giving her husband a dirty look as he
groaned.
"Leah, the man walked in on us! What if we had been..." he said, his
voice fading as he looked at her obviusly.
"Oh believe me, we wouldn't have been." she told him, walking out of
the room and onto the terrace as he whimpered and lowered his head into his
hands. Then as quickly as she walked out, she walked back in, grabbing some
things out of her suitcase as Lucky started wringing his hands.
"I'm going to the Beach, don't wait up" she said firmly as his mouth
hung open in shock and he watched her walk out of the hotel room.
"Damn it" he muttered as he felt tears burning his eyes. He had
pushed her, knowing that she was under alot of stress with controlling her
hormones, and keeping her pregnancy going smoothly, even though he didn't mean
to.. He had to find a way to fix this, For him and his Family.
*PH 4*
Carly and Leanna banished both Sonny and Samuel upstairs while they sat on the
couch, discussing all the exciting news, such as the newest Baby and the L + S
Reuniun.
"So no Wedding huh?" Carly asked apprehensivley as Leanna smiled.
"Nope, no wedding at all" she replied as Carly let out a sigh.
"Alright fine.. umm... ok, did you guys find out about the sex of your
baby??" she asked, bouncing up and down impatiently as Leanna started
laughing. She simply nodded as Carly's eyes widened.
"And?!?" she cried, about to fall out of her seat as Leanna snorted.
"It's a boy" she said. As soon as the words left her mouth, Carly's
_expression went from excitement to confusion.
"Really?" she asked uncertainly. "How did that happen..."
she said to herself as Leanna licked her lips, looking slightly worried.
"I was almost certain that it was going to be a girl..." she said,
looking upset.
"I'm sorry honey." Leanna said sadly as Carly looked up at her.
"oh no, Lans it's ok... I'm just .. very confused" she said, shaking
her head as she grabbed Leanna's hand and squeezed it reassuringly.
Leanna smiled at her friend and nodded, knowing all to well that everyone half
heartedly expected her baby to be a girl, mostly because every other pregnant
woman's baby in there family was already.
"I understand, don't worry... I think it's good to have some variety
though... this way, Michael and Morgan actually stand a chance against all of
those girls." she said, giggling as Carly burst out laughing.
"oh, I totally forgot! My poor Babies" she said, snorting with
laughter as Leanna wiped the tears from her eyes.
Once the two calmed down a bit, Carly changed the subject to something a little
more seriuse.
"So, this whole Family thing.. Are you sure your ready for that?" She
asked as Leanna sighed.
"As ready as I possible could be... I mean, we both know how I am with
responsibility." she started as Carly nodded to show that she was
listening. "... but, I want Samuel, Our Baby and I to be a family... not
like him giving me child support and both of us sharing joint custody, ya
know?" she asked as Carly smiled at her.
"Yeah I do, thats how I felt when I met Sonny" she said as Leanna
returned the smile and sighed again.
"We're pretty lucky huh Caroline..." she said, half asking as Carly
bit her lip.
"Yeah, we really are... but just keep in mind, that you can't take the
good things for granted." she reminded her as Leanna rolled her eyes.
"Yes Mother." she said teasingly as Carly gasped.
"Bitch" she accused as Leanna scowled at her.
"oh you-..." she started as Sonny and Samuel walked down the stairs.
"Now Girls, are we going to have to hire a babysitter for you two?"
Sonny asked as Carly decided to give him a scare.
"You might have to, because I think I just went into Labor" she said,
grabbing her stomach as Sonny and Samuel both jumped.
"oh my god, ok baby it's ok.. just breathe... everything wi-..."
Sonny started saying when Leanna burst into a fit of giggles.
"Lans, honey now isn't the time" Samuel said as Carly started
breathing heavily, only after giving her friend a reassuring wink.
"Your right, sorry it's just some weird pregnancy perk" she said,
waving her hands as she helped Carly off the couch just as Sonny ran to the
phone, about to call 911.
As he picked up the phone in a panic, Carly broke free of Samuel and Leanna's
grasp and walked up to her husband, grabbing the phone out of his hands and
placing it back on the stand.
"Carly, what are you doing?" Sonny asked as She stood with her hands
on her hips.
"What?" she asked innocently as Leanna slapped her hands over her
mouth in an attempt to hide her laughter.
"You said that you were in labor and when I tried to call for an ambulance
you hung up the phone." he said frustratedly as she thought to herself.
"When did I say that I was in Labor?" she asked mischeiviusly as he
finally caught on and looked at her in shock.
"I hate it when your pregnant, you get just plain mean." he accused
as she started laughing uncontrollably.
"That is so not funny!" he cried, causing Leanna to join in Carly's
laughter.
"Women" Samuel said, shaking his head as Sonny continued to pout.

~Chapter 41~
*Bermuda Public Beach*
Leah stormed down the sandy hill, beach towel and cell phone in hand, as she
shook her head with anger, blood pulsing through her veins. She barely noticed
where she was going until she felt the cool sea water drift over her bare feet,
realizing that she was now standing at the Ocean's shore. She gazed out at the
waves, each one rolling onto the next as a red sun appeared in the sky. letting
a sigh escape her lips, she stepped back a few feet and spread her blanket out
onto the warm sand, sitting down with a huff she pulled out her cell phone and
stared at it for a few seconds. Before she could react, a silent tear fell from
her eye and drifted down her cheek and suddenly, she was crying... Crying
harder then she had since Mike told her and Sonny about Adella. She thought
about how pathetic she looked right at that moment, sitting alone on a
beautiful beach in bermuda, crying because she overreacted to her hormones and
snapped at her husband before stomping out of their Honeymoon suite.
She sniffled loudly and wiped the tears carelessly from her eyes, blinking
several times to clear her vision. She began pressing in the only number that
came to mind as she took in a shaky breath. Soon, she could hear her sister's
voice on the other line.
*PH 2*
Basking in the afterglow of their love making, Jason and Courtney lay
comfortably in each other's arms as the sun started to set. They were both
sleeping peacefully until the sound of Courtney's cell phone could be heard
from the dresser.
"Mmmmm" Jason moaned loudly in her ear as Courtney's eyes fluttered
open.
"Jase, is that your cell phone?" she asked, her voice still deep with
sleep as Jason kissed her shoulder softly and shook his head.
"Nope, not this time" he said as she jerked up and out of bed.
"Ha, Go figure" she said with a smile as Jason scowled at her and
buried himself into his pillow.
The phone was on it's 5th Ring when Courtney finally reached it, flipping it
open as she yawned.
"Hello?" she asked sleepily as Leah sighed in relief.
"Oh Court..." she started before bursting into tears as Courtney's
eyes widened with worry.
"Leigh Leigh? Baby, what happened?" she asked urgently as Leah took a
sharp intake of breath.
"I ruined everything... my marriage is over!" she cried, her petite
body shaking with sobs as Courtney felt completely helpless.
"wait, what??" she asked in confusion, looking around for a lifeline
as Jason took attention too Court's scared facial expressions.
"I freaked out on Lucky and stormed out of the Hotel... I'm sitting on a
Freaking beach, crying my ass off and I don't know what to do!" she said,
blubbering as Courtney bit her lip.
"Holy shit" she thought to herself as she took a deep breath.
"Alright honey, everythings going to be ok-..." she started before
Leah interrupted her.
"Everything is not going to be ok! I've been married for.. what? 4 hours?
5 at the most, and My husband and I have already gotten into a fight." she
said as Courtney scratched her head.
"Well thats not that bad... I mean, how long were Carly and AJ married
for?" She pointed out as Leah sniffled again.
"Carly and AJ were married??" she asked in shock as Courtney made a
guilty look.
"Nevermind" she said, changing the subject as Jason finally got out
of bed and started putting on his boxers. "Leah, Honey.. All Couples are
different.. Look at the six of us for example.. Carly and Sonny fight, alot.
They break up, and yet they love each other more than anything else. Jason and
I rarely fight, and when we do.. it's over little insecurites and
misunderstandings.. You and Lucky, you both have a past and a connection
stronger than anything that any of us have.. you both understand each other,
and I know that right now you feel helpless and upset, but you need to go to him..
he loves you" she said reassuringly as Leah smiled slightly.
"You think so?" she asked, already knowing that answer as Courtney
scoffed.
"Bitch, please.. That man is head over heels for you." she said as
Leah giggled through her remaining tears.
"Thanks big sister" she said as Courtney turned and smiled at Jason.
"Your welcome angel" she replied as Leah shut her phone off and
Courtney did the same. she looked up at Jason, who had his arms crossed in
front of him.
"What's wrong?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, making his way over
to her as she shook her head.
"Drama" she said simply as Jason gave her a weird look. "too
much Drama" she finished, leading him back to bed.
*Bermuda*
Leah grabbed her towel up from beneath her as she stood up, brushing her hair
behind her ear. She grabbed her remaining things and climbed back up the small
hill, taking the same path back to Cambridge Beaches.
She continued walking for 10 minutes, feeling the occasional movement of one of
her twin girls in her lower abdomen, urging her to keep going. She strolled
through the Hotel entrance and moved over to the elevator, stepping into it as
soon as the doors opened.
"Uh oh, Motion sickness.." she said aloud to herself as the elevator
started to move. immediatly after she said this, her thoughts went to Lucky, as
they almost always did.
She closed her eyes tightly until she felt the last sway of the elevator, and
walked out into the hallway. Rushing over to their room, she pulled her key out
of her pocket and stuck it into the door knob, twisting it furiusly until she
heard the jolt of the lock being undone. She pushed the door open and walked
into the suite, only to hear and see nothing but silence and bare movement.
She soundlessly set her things down on the counter next to her as she started
walking towards the hallway. She looked into each room, from the bathroom to
the small broom closet, only hearing the rattle of the airconditioning flowing
through the vents above. She started walking past the Master bedroom when she
heard her name being called.
"Leah?" Lucky called softly, his voice full of hope as she turned to
him.
*PH 4*
"Samuel" Leanna whispered loudly as he raised his head up from his
pillow.
"Yeah?" he asked, turning around to face has, taking in her beauty as
she smiled.
"We don't have a name for him yet." she said, looking down at her
stomach as Samuel sighed.
"Baby, we still have 8 months." he told her, a skeptical look
appearing on his face as she raised an eyebrow.
"Doesn't mean we can't start looking early." she said in defense as
he sighed and sat up, with her following his lead.
"Alright then, do you have any idea's?" he asked her smartly as she
gave him a look before grinning excitedly.
"Not really, but I stole some name books from Carly..." she said,
pulling them out from under the mattress as Samuel snorted.
"of course you did." he muttered as she tossed him a particularly
heavy one.
"ok, I was thinking that his first name could be something with an A...
Then we can figure out his middle name later" she said as he nodded,
flipping through the A section until one name caught his eye.
"Lans, I found one" he said as she raised both eyebrows.
"Already?" she asked.
"Yeah, Yeah look here." he said, putting the book in front of her
face while pointing to the name he had found.
"Alexander?" she asked him as he nodded happily, causing her to
laugh.
"Honey, it's not really italian.." she said in her normal Italian
accent.
"well Leanna isn't very italian either" he pointed out as she
shrugged.
"alright, you've convinced me.. Alexander it is.." she said, kissing
him quickly. "Should we call him Alex or Zander for short?" she asked
him as he wrinkled his nose.
"Alex.. Zander just sounds weird." he said as she nodded in agreement
while putting the books away.
"So when should we tell everyone?" she asked as he yawned.
"In the morning.. it's past your bedtime" he said in a fatherly tone
as she giggled and snuggled up to his chest.
*Cambridge Beaches Resort*
Time seemed to stand still as they stared at each other. Leah finally shook her
self awake and looked around the room. The sound of Jessica Simpson's
"Underneath" could be heard playing on the small stereo as Leah tried
to fight back tears, it was their song. Lucky had placed almost a hundred
beautifully scented candles, along with a large framed picture of the Twins'
Sonogram on the foot of their Bed.
Sometimes it's hard when you're so deep inside
To see all you can lose in a blink of an eye
Dreams could be shattered
You could be gone
How would I survive
Cause you're where I belong
My soul-believer
Without you, I don't know who I would be
As she listened to the Songs Lyrics, Leah thought about how she could have lost
everything by over reacting to something as childish as... Now that she tried
to think about it, she couldn't even remember what she had gotten so upset over
in the first place. She walked over to the bed causiusly, running her finger
over the edge of the picture frame before she looked up and caught Lucky's gaze
yet again.
Underneath, I can feel you move through me
Inside out, you surround me
I breathe you like I'm taking my last breath
Oh, you're everything I know
So how could I let you go
She opened her mouth to say something, but her words caught in her throat. Her
eyes were filled with an intense sadness that Lucky couldn't quite place. He
now made his way to her and took her cheek into his palm, stroking it gently as
tears started rapidly falling from her warm brown eyes.
"I'm so sorr-..." she choked out, but was interrupted by Lucky, who
filled the space in between them and brought his free hand up to meet her other
cheek.
"shhhh, Baby not now." he said, trying to calm her down as she
continued to sob.
Sometimes I listen to a voice that isn't mine
I disconnect from everything inside
And I have made choices
And wasted all the days
I could have been with you
Where my heart stayed
"... But Lucky, I ju-..." she tried to say when he shushed her again
by pressing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss.
"Leah, Can you just be here with me.. I don't want to talk about it right
now, I just want to lay with you and our girls, and not have to worry about
anything... please?" he said after pulling away, pleading her with his
eyes as she nodded silently and followed as he led her to their bed.
And I've been blessed
For every kiss
For every breath
(How could I let you down)
And I've been touched,
By hands I trust
My love is risen
He slid onto the Satin Comforter, scooting over so that she could get on, and
wrapped his arms around her body, his hands resting on her growing stomach as
she blinked back the rest of her tears and closed her eyes. This was how she
wanted their lives to be... Simple. Just the two of them and their daughters,
no one coming between them and nothing threatening to tear them apart... It was
just Simple... Simple and easy. To lie there in his arms, falling asleep to the
beautiful sound of their old love song... That was how she wished life could
be.
Underneath, I can feel you move through me
Inside out, you surround me
I breathe you like I'm taking my last breath
Oh, you're everything I know
So how could I let you
How could I let you go

Chapter 42 Spoilers!
Leah and Lucky come to a compromise
Courtney Tells Carly about her call from Leah
Leanna and Samuel announce the baby's name
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~Something More~
~Chapter 42~
*PH 4*
Courtney hadn't been able to sleep after her sister's call... but she figured
that it was about time she was up, after being in bed with Jason all day and
night. At the crack of dawn she slid out from his firm grasp and jumped into a
quick shower, then racing down the stairs after dressing in record time to get
some Juice. Now, she was heading over to see her sister in-law and make sure
that everything was at least going well with part of the Corinthos clan.
She opened the door without hesitating, since most of the family had gotten
used to barging in on each other unexpectedly anyways, and walked in to see
Leanna and Samuel on the couch, as Leanna tried to steal Samuel's coffee away
from him.
"Samuel, I just want to smell it... please!" she cried helplessly as
Courtney chuckled to herself, knowing only too well how it felt to be living
with out her Caffeine and having someone drinking it in front of her day and
night.
"It's not good for the baby, you know that" he scolded her as she
scowled at him.
"Did you not hear me?! I just want to smell it!" she screamed,
pouncing on him as he tried with all of his might to fend her off. Courtney
snuck up behind him and grabbed the coffee out of his reach as he cried out,
while Leanna shouted in victory when Courtney handed the mug over to her.
Leanna brought the cup up to her nose and breathed in the heavenly aroma.
"Ooooh Yeah" she said, taunting her husband as Courtney laughed,
while Samuel turned to her and gave her a dirty look.
"I'm telling Jason" he whined, jumping up from his seat and running
up the stairs to their room while Courtney rolled her eyes.
"Cry baby" she muttered as she slid into Samuel's old seat.
Leanna set the cup down and looked her cousin over. "Everything ok?"
she asked worriedly as Courtney sighed.
"I guess you could say that..." she said, sadness evident in her
voice as Leanna bit her lip, thinking to herself.
"It's Leah, isn't it?" she asked as Courtney nodded.
"When isn't it Leah" she remarked as Leanna laughed.
"True.. She's just like your brother, can't keep herself out of
trouble" she said as Courtney smiled. "So what did she do this
time?" she asked as Carly and Sonny both came down the stairs with
Michaels Puppy, Rocky, quick on their heels.
"What did who do this time?" Sonny asked, as Carly, Leanna and
Courtney stared at him, confused by his comment. They all decided to ignore him
as Carly retrieved the dog leash from the kitchen and walked over to the door,
turning around as she came to it, her eyes searching wearily for her son's dog.
"Where is that evil..." she muttered quitely, squinting her eyes as
she bent over. "Ahh..." she said, spotting him over by Sonny's
Leather Shoes, ready to pounce.
"Dog! Come here." she called as Courtney giggled at her sister. Carly
opened the door as Rocky came running to her, throwing the Leash at an
unexpecting Marco who stood in the hall and scooted the puppy out next to him.
"Be a dear and take Rocky out for a walk please Marco? Michael's at
school" she said to him as he crossed his arms over his chest and shook
his head.
"No" he said firmly as she gasped.
"You would actually make a pregnant woman walk a dog around New York? In
the god damn morning no less!" she cried while Marco barely flinched.
"Ohhh Sonny" She called as Marco jerked the leash out of her hands
and started to get Rocky to follow him into the elevator.
"Yeah, that's what I thought" Carly said in a victorius tone as
Courtney cleared her throat.
"Well, little Alex and I should be heading upstairs now for our bath, you
two kids have fun." Leanna said, patting her stomach as she headed up the
stairs, only before being interrupted by both Courtney and Carly.
"Alex?" they asked with interest as Leanna grinned.
"Yeah, isn't it Fabolous?" she asked, her Italian accent showing
through as Carly smiled.
"Perfect" she said as Courtney nodded in agreement, Causing Leanna to
squeal with excitement before racing up the stairway.
"She's insane" Carly said, taking a seat next to Courtney, who smiled
to herself as she felt her daughter kicking.
"So..." Carly started as she got herself situated on the couch.
"Have you heard from our adorable Mrs. Spencer yet?" she asked
questioningly as Courtney bit her lip.
"Umm.. Yeah, Actually I did" she said uncertainly as Carly felt the
pit of her stomach drop... Something wasn't right.
"What did she do?" she asked as Courtney rubbed her hands over her
face.
"I don't know.. I don't think she did anything.. It's just the Pregnancy
Hormones are hitting her hard.. She called me up yesterday and she was really
upset. She said that Lucky commented about something and she overreacted."
She said as Carly shrugged.
"Well, thats not that bad right? I mean.. they wouldn't.. you now.. Break
up?" she asked, whispering the last part as if it was to awful to mention
at all.
"I don't know Carly.. and that scares me to death" Courtney admitted
as Carly frowned and scooted her sister in-law into a hug, holding her close as
the two thought and prayed that everything would be ok.
*Cambridge Beaches Resort*
"We'll be sure to let you know if we need anything." she added
sweetly as the man nodded and rushed out of the room, shutting the door behind
him.
"Nice going" Leah said, giving her husband a dirty look as he
groaned.
"Leah, the man
walked in on us! What if we had been..." he said, his voice fading as he
looked at her obviusly.
"Oh believe me,
we wouldn't have been." she told him, walking out of the room and onto the
terrace as he whimpered and lowered his head into his hands. Then as quickly as
she walked out, she walked back in, grabbing some things out of her suitcase as
Lucky started wringing his hands.
"I'm going to the
Beach, don't wait up" she said firmly as his mouth hung open in shock and
he watched her walk out of the hotel room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That was the last
thing Leah remembered before she bolted out of bed from her nightmare, cold
sweat covering her body as the sheets clung to her skin, revealing her slightly
protruding belly. She hadn't noticed, but Lucky was sitting up next to her,
rubbing her back soothingly as she took several deep breaths.
"I'm going to go get you some water" he said as she nodded, hardly
aware of her surroundings, only that last picture of her leaving him.
"It's over... Everything's ok.." she told herself, rubbing her stomach
as the twins started to kick. Lucky walked back into the room, his dark brown
hair pushed to one side of his head and a glass of water in his hands. He
climbed back onto the bed and handed the cup to her as she offered a smile,
drinking from the glass as she started to calm down.
"Do you want to
talk about it?" He asked her finally, breaking the silence as she nodded
apprehensively.
He took a deep breath, contemplating what he was going to say to her before he
opened his mouth. "I want you to know that I would never do or say
anything that would hurt you... on purpose anyway. God, Leah I love you more
than anything else in the world... Your having my daughters for gods sake"
he started, looking away as she listened to him, her heart breaking as he
continued. "When You left.. I was scared... I mean, I had been scared
before... when Lulu would get sick, or when Ric would put me on a dangerous
call... but My heart litarelly stopped for the time that I wasn't with you.. I
thought that I had blown it" he said, letting out a breath as she started
to wring her hands.
She felt her emotions rising to the surface, and she would have been a fool to
stop them, because there was no avoiding it.
"You know... when
I first found out that I was pregnant.. I never really thought about what would
happen... With me, and with us.." she started, grabbing his hand out of
instinct as he watched her. "I was never someone who could control her
hormones well.. hell, I didn't even know what they were until Carly explained
it to me" she said, rolling her eyes as he smiled.
"Lucky, I never meant to push you away like that.. God, I don't even
recognize myself when it happens.." she said, tears brimming to the
surface of her eyes as she started to get choked up. "You've been my
entire world ever since I could remember... and it almost came crumbling down
around me because I let those little things called hormones get the better of
me" she said, laughing slightly while wiping her tears away as they fell
rapidly. "I love you so much.. and I don't want to lose you ever.. because
if I did.. I just-... I-.." she said before collapsing into Lucky's chest,
sobs racking through her body as he held her close, almost afraid to let her
go.
"I don't want to lose you either... I can't" he whispered into her
hair as she cried. He brought her eyes up to meet his as he wiped the tears
away. "Your all I need..." he said as she whimpered, Leaning into him
as their Lips met in a passionate kiss, full of want, need and hope. Lucky
pushed Leah gently against the pillows behind her and kissed his way down her
jawline, to her neck.
"Mmmmm" she moaned loudly with desire as Lucky's eyes darkened.
"Lucky..." she said, breathing deeply as he left his mark on her
neck, working down to her collarbone. "ok... How about we set a
compromise..." she said, lifting her hips up to meet his as his eyes
widened with anticipation.
"Compromise?" he asked slipping her shirt off so that she was in her
Black silk bra, marveling at her beauty.
"Yeah, like.. You try to have patience with me... and I'll try to control
my hormones..." she said, running her hand up and down his bare chest
before taking his face in her hands and kissing him firmly. "is it a
deal?" she asked seductivly as Lucky made a growling noise deep within his
throat.
"Deal" he said simply, before their lips met yet again in a ravaging
kiss.
*PH 4*
Leanna and Samuel jumped out of their room, breathing rapidly and trying to
adjust their clothing as much as possible, while walking downstairs to tell the
family about their baby's name. When they reached the bottom of the staircase,
they noticed that the entire penthouse was quite, except for the mild shouts of
victory coming from Michael's room as he fought to keep the bad guys away on
his Playstation.
Leanna sighed and walked into the kitchen, again seeing nothing as Samuel made
his way over to the couch. An idea sparked in her head and she started walking
over to Samuel, giving him a sly wink as he groaned.
She cleared her throat and took a deep breath before she began. "Ouch!!!
Oooh, eeeeh help!!" She cried unconvincingly as Samuel shook his head. All
of a sudden, doors were slamming out in the hall and Jason, with Courtney close
behind him, pounded into the room as Carly and Sonny flew down the stairs in
record time.
"Whats
wrong!?" Sonny cried, his curly black hair standing on end, making him
look like a cat.
"We have an
announcement to make" Leanna said happily as Jason scoffed and began
muttering under his breath.
"Well thats a
relief, I thought a cow was dying down here or something" Courtney
remarked as Carly snorted with laughter.
"Funny, real
funny" Leanna said, giving them a dirty look while Sonny looked like he
was about to rip his hair out.
"Honey, hurry
up.. your cousin's about to ask Jason for a favor." Samuel warned her as
Leanna nodded.
"Ok.. I wanted
you all to know that... Samuel and I have decided on a name for the baby"
she said proudly as Sonny and Jason's expressions softened and Carly waved her
hand impatiently.
"Yeah yeah yeah,
Alex... you told us already" She said as Leanna shook her head quickly.
"Thats only a
nickname... His name is going to be Alexander, because we both like the name,
and Michael, after Sonny." She said, grabbing Samuel's hand as he grinned
at her.
"Alexander
Michael Ransetti" she said with excitement as Courtney burst into tears.
"Thats so
beautiful!" she cried as Leanna nodded soothingly and hugged her cousin
while Jason and Sonny shook Samuel's hand.

~Chapter 43~
~One week Later~
*Cambridge Beaches Resort*
Leah eased herself awake that morning, breathing in the scent of
the Salty beach air, along with freshly squeezed orange juice. She slowly
opened up one of her eyes, watching as the cool breeze blew in from the window,
causing the white chiffon curtains to fly apart. Then she opened up her other
eye, realizing that today was the day that her honeymoon was officially over,
her honeymoon with the man she loved. "I mean, it isn't a total loss"
she thought to herself, smiling as her head hit her pillow once again as she
thought of all the things that they had gotten to do together. Like massaging
each other until 3 o'clock in the morning, laying on the beach as the sunset
came into the sky, scuba diving after a large room service breakfast, lying
together in bed after hours of love making... It was perfect. She opened her
eyes reluctantly, slipping the sheets off of her body as she lifted herself out
of bed. She looked around and noticed that Lucky was no where in sight. "He
must have gotten up early" she thought as she started walking across the
room, nearly tripping over a suitcase that had been laid in her path.
She finally made it into the living room, rubbing the sleep from
her eyes. She turned around and saw her husbands back facing her, his shadow
bending over a large bag. She started to creep up behind him, grabbing a towel
from the chair next to her. She silently wound it up before taking her hit,
slapping him with it firmly on the buttocks. He let out a yelp and jumped
around, his eyes scowling at her as she bit her tongue to keep from laughing,
tossing the towel off somewhere behind her.
"I see that you were up early" she said brightly,
smiling at him as he squinted his eyes and looked around, searching for where
she had put the towel. "You should have woken me, I could have helped out
with... this" she said, motioning to the disaster area that had once been
their honeymoon suite.
"I thought you could use the rest" he told her, giving
up his search as he grabbed the sunblock off of the coffee table and tossed it
into a bag.
"Well thank you for the concern Mr. Spencer, but I would
have gotten plenty of rest on the plane ride home" she said pointedly, as
he smiled and shook his head at her.
"I'm sorry, I'll remember that for next time" he said
as she made her way over to him.
"Your forgiven" she said softly, kissing his cheek as
she turned and walked into the kitchenette.
"Hungry?" he asked her, zipping up one of their bags
and setting it by the door as he joined her near the refridgerator.
She nodded in reply and started rubbing her stomach. "I'm
Famished" she said dramatically as Lucky chuckled and grabbed some things
out of the fridge, motioning for Leah to take a seat on the couch as he made
her breakfast.
She flashed him her million dollar smile as she rushed into the
living room once more, jumping onto the couch as she took a hold of the remote.
As soon as she turned the TV on, Sesame Street began to play with Big Bird
coming on first, causing Leah to gasp as Lucky poked his head into the room.
"Everything ok?" he asked worriedly as she turned to
him, her mouth hanging open in shock.
"It's Big Bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love him!!" she
whispered loudly as Lucky burst out laughing and went back to his cooking, with
her shaking her head at him. "He just doesn't understand how important Big
bird is to a girl" she said to herself as the characters started to sing
the counting song.
A few hours later, all of their bags were packed and Lucky was
now trying to get them secured onto the cart.
"Lucky... Honey, lift don't jerk" she told him as he
shot her a look. Raising her hands up in mock surrender she walked over to the
doorway just as she heard Lucky cry out in victory.
"Aha! Don't jerk my ass!" he said as Leah rolled her
eyes and walked out of the suite. Lucky wheeled the cart after her, stopping
next to her as he grabbed the sides of her face and met her lips in a
passionate kiss. Pulling apart breathless, Leah cleared her throat and started
to blush.
"Well, shall we?" she asked, motioning over to the
elevator as Lucky smiled and nodded.
*PH 4*
Sonny closed the refridgerator door, taking a sip of his
hazelnut coffee while walking over to the counter, his eyes roaming carelessly
as they fell upon the floral calender that Carly had put up in the corner.
"Leigh Leigh comes home!!! Be ready by 3!"
Was written and circled on the current day. He realized that the
lasting peace and quite would vanish as soon as his sister came home, and he
couldn't be more relieved.
Excited about his baby sister's arrival for later that day,
Sonny walked into the living room, just as Carly flew down the stairs and
pounced on him.
"Leah's coming home!! Leah's coming home!!!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!!!" she cried loudly as Sonny tried to avoid
spilling his coffee, leading his wife over to the couch.
"Carly, sweetie calm down" he told her as she started
bouncing.
"I can't! I have so much to do still.. I have to finish
planning the welcome home party and their going to be home in a few
hours!" she said, breathing deeply as Sonny shook his head, she just never
quit.
"Alright well if your going to be busy all day then maybe I
should take Michael to a baseball game, he's been wanting to see the yankee's
for weeks" he said as she nodded, deeply in thought.
"Ok, as long as your home by 7 tonight then that should
work" she told him as he grabbed a hold of her hand.
"Carly, promise me that you won't stress yourself out,
Maddy needs you to stay calm" he told her as she smiled at him.
"I promise Sonny, you worry to much" she said, kissing
him deeply before pulling away as he sighed.
"I'm going to go tell Michael about our plans" he
said, getting up from the couch as he made his way up the stairs.
Carly made sure that Sonny was out of hearing distance before
she rushed over to the phone, grabbing her planner out of the desk drawer and
started dialing numbers.
"Hi, this is Carly Corinthos, I need someone to come over
to my resturaunt, it's called the Cellar... Yeah, I need help decorating it for
my sister's party... Uh huh, ok.. 5:30 it is.. thanks" she said, hanging
up the phone as she crossed 'decorations' off of her list. Now all she had left
was the caterer, the band, and the rest of the guests.
Several hours later, around noon time, Carly had successfully
called all of the people that she needed to, and headed up stairs to get ready,
just as Michael came bounding down.
"Mommy!!" he cried, running over to her as he hugged
her tightly, his face pressed up against her small yet bulging stomach.
"Hey Mr. Man, did your dad tell you about a certain
baseball game that your going to tonight?" she asked enthusiastically as
her son grinned happily at her.
"Yep!! We're leaving as soon as he finishes talking to
uncle Jason on the phone" he said, his auburn hair poking out of the
Yankee's cap that was perched on top of his head.
"Alright sweetie, you have fun ok? Mommy's going to go
upstairs and get ready for Auntie Leah's party tonight" she said as he
nodded and went to play with some of his lego's by the couch. "He get's
more and more like Sonny everyday" she told herself silently as she made
her way up the stairs.
A few minutes had gone by and Michael was now extremely
impatient. He sulked to himself and plopped down onto the couch, just as Sonny
ran down the stairs, a guilty look on his face. He walked around the couch,
looking down at his son who had a sour look on his face.
"Mike, I'm sorry I-..." he started as Michael raised
his hand to silence his father, who quickly shut his mouth.
"Where have you been?" Micheal asked coldly, waiting
for his answer as Sonny's eyes bulged.
"I was finishing up some business with your Uncle
Jason-..." he said before he was once again interrupted.
"No no no, Finishing up some business is like cooking a pop
tart, you were up their long enough to back 3 cakes and a pie." Michael
said, jumping up from his seat and walking past his father while shaking his
head.
"Again, very sorry" Sonny said, grabbing his keys from
the desk as Mikey scoffed.
"Sure you are." he said, opening the door while
nodding his head at Max as Sonny followed close behind.
"He's definitly Carly's son" he said to himself as
they walked over to the elevator.
*PH 2*
Courtney was finishing up the dishes downstairs as Jason hung up
his cell phone, running his hands over his face as he started down for the
kitchen. He was halfway their, stopping on the staircase as he saw her...
Standing by the sink, wearing one of his T-shirts, her blonde hair was down and
fell softly in front of her face. Jason groaned inwardly as he watched her,
seductivly leaning over the counter, dipping her hands into the warm water, he
could hardly bare it.
Courtney heard someone on the stairs and looked up to see Jason,
his eyes turning a dark blue with desire. She hid her smile and turned off the
running water, drying her hands off on the dish towel next to her as she slowly
walked into the living room, looking up, she met his eyes with her own and bit
her lip, knowing how it drove him crazy.
"Damn you" he said to himself aloud, shaking his head
as he tried to push his thoughts away, thoughts that no one under the age of 21
should ever think of.
She giggled softly and made her way up to him, stopping for only
a moment before leaning in and kissing him firmly.. Sucking, nibbling and
nipping at his bottem lip as he moaned into the kiss. She always knew the right
ways to drive him over the edge.
"So how's Sonny?" she asked as they pulled away,
completely changing the subject at hand as Jason jerked his head up. He caught
her sarcastic tone and smiled slightly, knowing how much she hated the long and
uncertain hours in which he worked.
"Nevermind him" he said, kissing her as the tables
turned, dipping her head back gently as she sighed.
"Someone feeling a bit Horny this month?" Jason asked
amusedly as she blushed.
"Don't blame me, You contributed too remember?" she
said as he nodded in agreement placing his hands at her waist.
"I'm going to go see Mike today" he told her as her
eyes widened.
"Why?" she asked uncertainly as he scratched his head.
"I'm going to ask for his blessing" he said shyly as
she smiled.
"Well it's about time... I thought you had changed your
mind." she said playfully as he leaned his head to one side.
"About marrying you?" he asked as she nodded.
"Never" he said simply, kissing her softly before he pulled away and
headed for the door.
"Hey Jase?" Courtney said before he left as he turned
around to look at her. "Hurry back" she said softly, slightly raising
the hem of her shirt as Jason cleared his throat hastily and nodded, rushing
out of the penthouse as fast as he could, causing Courtney to giggle.
She checked the clock and noticed the Time, 1pm.. A grin
appeared on her face as she thought about her sister and she ran upstairs,
getting ready to jump in the shower before she headed over to Carly's.
*Corinthos Jet*
Lucky sat down next to Leah, who had her headphones on at the
time, on one of Sonny's Leather couches that he had in the Jet and was flipping
through a magazine. He started reading an interesting article regarding Men and
the stupid things they say during pregnancies when Leah started singing.
"I'm not okay.... I'm not okaaaaaaaaaaay, I'm not ooookkk
You wear me out!!!" she cried, playing air guitar as Lucky chuckled to
himself, she was singing one of her favorite songs. "I'm ok... I'm O
K!!!!! I'm ok now, I'm ok now, but your really here listening to me, because
I'm telling you the truth, I mean this I'm ok!! Trust me!" she screamed,
as Lucky fell off of the couch, laughing hysterically.
Leah noticed that Lucky was no longer sitting next to her and
turned off her headphones, tossing them to the side as she looked down and saw
that her husband was now rolling around on the floor, laughing his ass off.
She raised and eye brow at him just as the plane let out a jolt
and Lucky slid up to the far wall. "Lucky!" Leah cried, buckling
herself in as the plane jolted again.
"It's ok, it's ok.. everything's going to be fine." he
said, more to himself then to her as he crawled up to the couch and sat down
next to her, fumbling with his seat belt as the captain came over the intercom.
"Alright Mr. and Mrs. Spencer, we are now landing, so
please make sure your seat belts are securely fastened... we will be down in a
moment" he told them as Leah sighed in fake relief.
"Thank god, I thought we were going to die! Didn't you
baby?" she asked, looking at Lucky, who she knew was afraid of flying as
he scoweled at her, clearly not finding the situation funny.
Once the plane was steadily on land, an airport assistant came
and opened the door for them, helping as they unloaded their luggage from the
compartments and headed down to the front of the large building.
"God, I get to see my family soon!" Leah thought to
herself as she grinned, feeling almost giddy as she instructed young man who
was carrying her bags on where to go.
They walked through the large revolving doors as Leah spotted
Max,standing in front of one of Sonny's Limo's, causing Leah to shriek happily
and run to him as Lucky scooted the remaining bags along, towards the trunk as
Leah jumped into the guards arms.
"Max!!!!" she screamed as he chuckled in amusement.
"Leah, it's good to have you back" he said as she
smiled and kissed him lightly on the lips before jumping into the back seat of
the car, allowing Max and Lucky to finish putting the bags away.
*Yankee Stadium*
It was the last Inning, and Sonny was sitting in the middle of
the stadium, 2 hotdogs in his lap and an overwhelmed Michael sitting next to
him, who was cheering for his favorite players.
As soon as the little boy was out of breath he turned to his dad
and smiled.
"Daddy, thank you for bringing me here" he said as
Sonny grinned.
"Your welcome Buddy" he said, pulling his son into an
embrace just as the stadium erupted into cheers as the Yankee's won, 14-0.
"Dad?" Michael asked suddenly as Sonny looked at him,
almost dropping the food on himself. "Are you and Mommy going to love the
new baby more than me and Morgan?" he asked sadly as Sonny tried to keep a
straight face, hearing the normal speech from his son that most expecting
parents got from their oldest child.
"Of course not Buddy, your mother and I will always love
you and Morgan, no matter what." he said reassuringly as Michael listened
intently, smiling satisfiedly as they got up from their seats and walked down
the stairs to the parking lot.
"Good enough for me" Michael thought to himself as
Sonny handed the little boy his hotdog and grabbed his free hand, leading him
towards Marco and the awaiting Car.
"You ready to see your Aunt Leah?" Sonny asked as
Michael's eyes lit up. The little boy nodded furiusly as Sonny laughed, helping
his son into the Car before getting in himself, nodding to Marco who started
the engine and drove off for the penthouse.
*Kelly's Diner*
Jason walked into the Diner, smiling at those who greeted him
warmly as he headed over to the front counter when Mike stood, pouring coffee
for a man who looked like he was in the middle of a hang over.
"Hey there Jason... What brings you out here?" Mike
asked, looking up at his daughter's boyfriend who shifted nervously before
taking a seat. "Everything going all right with Courtney I hope?" he
asked, concern appearing on his face as Jason nodded reassuringly, trying to
find his voice.
"Everythings great, I actually came here to talk to you
about... something" he said uncertainly as Mike raised his eyebrows and
glanced at the clock.
"Isn't Leah coming home soon?" he asked obviusly as
Jason rubbed his hands over his face.
"Yeah she is, but I needed to talk to you first, it's
important" Jason said urgently as Mike put down the coffee pot and turned
the the young man.
"Alright, shoot." he said as Jason took a deep breath,
collecting his thoughts before he spoke.
"I want to marry Courtney... and I came here to ask you for
your blessing.." Jason said, biting his lip so hard that it turned blue as
Mike sighed sadly, those men just kept taking his daughters.
Mike studied Jasons actions and decided to test him.
"Are you really prepared for what married life is like? I
mean really?? Are you emotionally stable???" Mike asked as Jason whimpered
from all of the questions, looking around for a lifeline as Bobbie walked in
from the back.
"Mike, just answer the damn question, your scaring the boy
to death." She said, scolding him as he sighed.
"Do you love her?" he asked, just above a whisper as
Jason looked up at him.
"More than my life" he said as Mike's _expression
softened and he nodded in defeat.
"If you want to marry my daughter, then you have my
blessing..." he started as Jason's face broke out into a grin. "But
I'm warning you, if you hurt my daughter and grandchild in any way, their will
be hell to pay." he said.
"I could never hurt them" he said honestly as Mike
nodded and waved him away.
"My baby girl is coming home soon, I need to close up so
why don't you head over to Sonny's and I'll meet you all their in a little
while?" he asked as Jason agreed and made his way outside to his
motorcycle, his confidence up to a new level from his future father in-laws
approval.
*PH 4*
As soon as they pulled into the parking garage, Michael and
Sonny both jumped out of the car and rushed up the stairs, forgetting the
elevator completely as they tried to get home on time before Leah and Lucky
arrived. Running through the hallway they made it to the door and pushed it
open, seeing Courtney and Carly relaxing on the couch after finishing some last
minute calls to make sure that the Cellar was ready.
"Your late" Carly said, looking annoyed as Sonny
winced.
"I know baby, I-..." he started when Michael
interrupted him.
"It's not Daddy's fault, Marco was driving slow today and
traffic was backed up." he told her as he gave his mother and aunt a kiss
as Sonny gaped at him.
"Freaking Geniuse" he thought to himself as the door
opened and Jason walked in, completely out of breath but a huge smile on his
face.
"I'm guessing your meeting went well?" Courtney asked
hopefully, getting up and walking over to him as he nodded and kissed her as
Michael groaned and covered his eyes.
A few minutes later and Bobbie walked in with Mike trailing
behind her, complaining about how long it took for the elevator to reach their
floor.
Just when everything was quite again, the door swung open and
Leah appeared, with Lucky right behind her.
"Who missed me?!??" she cried excitedly, a huge grin
on her face as Carly and Courtney screamed loudly, breaking several of Sonny's
shot glasses over on the bar.
"Son of a bitch" he muttered to himself, mourning over
the loss of his glasses as the three girls all hugged each other tightly,
crying for joy... They were all together again.
"God, we missed you so much!!!!" Carly sobbed as Leah
rubbed her back, trying to control her own tears.
"Hey! It's my turn" Jason said, pushing past them as
Leah laughed and launched herself into his arms, holding tightly around his
neck as he buried his face into her hair.
"Oh, I love you Jase" she said, closing her eyes
tightly as he smiled.
"I love you too" he said, pulling away and kissing her
forehead as she grinned, looking around for her brother as Lucky hugged his
cousin.
"Bubby!!!!!!!" Leah screamed, her gaze falling upon
her brother, who had hidden himself into a corner as she ran and jumped onto
him. He felt the wind being knocked out of him as he choked out a laugh.
"Good to have you home sis." he whispered loudly,
trying to catch his breath as she planted kisses all over his face.
"What? no hug for your dear old dad?" Mike asked from
behind the couch, sticking his bottom lip out in a pout as Leah jerked her head
up in surprise.
"Daddy!!!!" she cried, rushing over to her father who
scooped up his youngest daughted and held her in a tight embrace.
"How are you Princess?" he asked her, setting her down
and kissing her cheek as she grinned happily.
"I'm great Daddy, but I missed you" she said, hugging
him again, only this time he noticed her rounding belly which was almost larger
then Carly's.
"Well look at that" he said, taking his hand and
resting it on her stomach as one of the baby's kicked, causing him to chuckle.
Just as everyone was starting to settle down, Courtney grabbed
Jasons hand and cleared her throat loudly as everyone turned to her.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make"
she said importantly as Leah smiled and her sister and sat down in Lucky's lap.
"Jason and I have decided on a name for our baby, and we wanted to share
it with you all, now that my baby sister is home." she said as Carly
muttered 'about damn time' from somewhere in the room.
She looked at Jason who squeezed her hand reassuringly as Leah
became impatient. "Spit it out!" she cried as Sonny burst out
laughing.
"We have decided to name the baby... Leah Emily
Morgan" she said, grinning at her sister who's mouth hung open in shock.
Leah sat in a daze, letting her sister's words fully register in
her mind as it finally sank in. She jumped up from Lucky's lap and ran over to
Courtney, hugging her sister tightly as tears escaped from her eyes.
"Thank you" Leah said softly into her ear as Courtney
smiled and kissed her cheek.
"I love you, and I wanted my baby girl to have her aunt's
name." she said simply as Leah wiped her tears away.
"I'm honored." she said as Courtney blushed.
"Wait, we're missing someone!" Leah said suddenly, looking around as
everyone stood anxiusly.
"Where the hell is Lans?" she asked incredously as
Carly shook her head.
"Her and Samuel decided that they 'needed the night off'"
she said sarcastically as Leah giggled and nodded understandingly. "They
decided to name the baby Alexander Michael" she said as Leah gasped.
"Oh my god! I love that name! It's almost as cute as Leah
Emily!" she cried as Jason and Courtney laughed.
Things were perfect...

~Chapter 44~
*PH 4*
Most of the Corinthos/Morgan/Spencer family was still gathered
together in Sonny's Living room, Listening as Leah and Lucky described their
perfect honeymoon, leaving out the small detail about their fight of course.
Everyone was talking and laughing together, enjoying each other's company when
Lucky suddenly spoke up.
"Oh, baby I have to go and check up with Work to see what I
missed..." he said regretfully, obviusly unwilling to leave his new wife
and unborn daughters.
"I know Lucky, it's ok.. I'll be fine" Leah told him,
grabbing his hand and placing it on her stomach in reasurrance as he thought
about the tiny lives that they had created.
"I'll make sure she rests, don't worry" Sonny spoke up
as Leah laughed at her brother while Lucky nodded.
"I know you will Sonny, thanks" he said, standing up
as Leah followed suit.
"I love you" he told her as she smiled and kissed him
firmly.
"I love you too... now go, hurry up and come home
soon" she told him, giving him a nudge towards the door as he grinned and
playfully blew her a kiss before making a dramatic exit and walking out of the
door, followed by Jason, Courtney, Mike and Bobbie a few minutes later.
"Alright then... Leigh, honey, do you want to go lie
down?" Carly asked, standing up from the couch with Sonny's help as Leah
smiled and nodded, stopping as something flashed through her mind.
OBITUARY
"June 19th,
1986"
Adella Maria Corinthos
has died tonight, after giving birth to her 2nd child, a daughter, named Leah
Adella Corinthos by her Grief stricken father, who is now being comforted by
Mrs. Corinthos' family members and friends. All are all devestated by their
loss. Doctors who were working on Mrs. Corinthos around the time of her death
and her daughter's birth are saying that she simply did not have enough
strength to last her throughout the night, some are also saying that she had fulfilled
her time on this earth and is now watching over her family... But whatever the
reason really is, there will never be a good enough reason for her two children
that are left without their mother, little Leah and her older brother Michael
Corinthos Jr.
Leah's eyes were filled with grief and sadness, which did not go
unnoticed by her brother, who became increasingly worried about his sister as
he immediatly went to her side.
"Baby, are you alright?" he asked, putting his arms
around her as she stared off into space, nodding absentmindedly while Sonny led
her to the guest room.
Carly stood in fear, knowing that something was wrong but didn't
know how to go about it. She stood nervously, fidgeting with her clothes as she
finally figured out what to do and rushed over to the phone, dialing her club
number as one of her employee's picked up.
"Hi, this is Carly... Yeah uh, could you just put all the
food into the fridge and lock up for me? Everyone is a little tired so we're
just going to postpone the party for awhile... Ok, thanks.. Bye" she said,
sighing deeply as she hung up the phone, turning and looking at the direction
of the guest room, waiting for a sign... anything.
*PH 4*Guest room*
Sonny had his arms around Leah as he walked her over to the bed,
helping her down on top of it as she smiled faintly at him while he sat down
next to her. Sonny could see that she was avoiding his gaze and scooted closer
to her so that she was right in front of him.
"Leah, Talk to me please..." He said softly as her
head jerked up, tears sparked in her brilliant brown eyes.
"You want me to talk Sonny? Do you have any Idea what
tomorrow is?" she asked, her voice cracking as Sonny bit his lip when all
of a sudden, the answer hit him like a ton of bricks.
The anniversary of their mother's death, and the day that Leah
came into the world.
"Oh bab-..." he started, reaching for her as she
snapped away from him forcefully.
"Don't Baby me Sonny, you know that if she hadn't died that
night then she would be here talking to us, listening as I tell her about my
honeymoon and you telling her about how active Maddy was, because I mean you
don't do a whole lot so that has to be the most exciting thing that happened to
you right?! Well guess what Sonny!!! She's not here now! And it's because of
me!" she cried, tears slipping down her cheeks as Sonny watched in shock
as his sister broke down, also something in which he was familiar with.
"Leah-..." Sonny started, at a complete loss for words
as Leah took a deep breath before beginning her rant once more.
"I killed her Sonny!!! I killed our mother!!!" She
screamed as her body shook with sobs. "God maybe if I had done something
different.. or if I hadn't been born at all.. she would still be here... It's
all my fault" she said, her voice fading as she crumbled into Sonny's arms
as he held her for dear life, rocking her body back in forth as he buried his
face in her hair.
They sat like that for awhile, Sonny holding her protectively
until her body turned limp, signifying that she had fallen asleep. Slowly and
Carefully Sonny picked her up into his arms, walking downstairs as Carly looked
up from their desk, her hair sticking up on all sides as if she had fallen
asleep in her chair. Sonny looked down at his sisters face, blank and
peaceful.. smiling as he nodded his head towards the hall while opening the
front door as Carly nodded understandingly as she headed upstairs to bed,
knowing that he would fill her in later.
Sonny pushed open the door to Leah's penthouse after somehow
fishing out the spare key from below the welcome mat, still holding her
steadily in his arms as he kicked the door shut softly, walking into the master
bedroom, feeling his way through the house.
Stepping over to the side of Lucky and Leah's bed, Sonny set her
down, pulling her comforter up around her body, making sure that her pillows
were comfortably supporting her head before kissing her goodnight and walking
back across the hall, hoping that his sister would sleep soundlessly through
the night, as if she wasn't old enough to take care of herself.
*Next Morning*
When Sonny had gotten home, he found Leanna and Carly sitting on
the couch waiting for him while Samuel was upstairs sleeping. They made him
explain what had happened with Leah, regretting it afterwards as they both
burst into tears while Sonny cleared his throat, trying to hold up his bad guy
image. After asking several questions and being satisfied with the Answers that
he gave them, both girls headed up to bed, leaving Sonny to remember that last
moments that he had with his mother.
*PH 3*
Leah stirred awake, suddenly feeling her head resting on
something other than her pillow and opened her eyes to see Leanna lying asleep
next to her. Leah smiled and fidgeted, trying to get comfortable again as
Leanna's eyes jerked open.
"Leigh!" she whispered loudly, sleep overpowering her
as Leah giggled, feeling her Cousin's arms around her as Leanna embraced her.
"You ok?" She asked worriedly, blinking several times to wake up as
Leah's face dropped and she slowly remembered what happened that previous night
with Sonny. She shook her head, tears blinding her as Leanna pulled her close,
kissing the side of her head as Leah began to sob.
"It's not fair.." she cried as Leanna tried to soothe
her, leaning her head against Leah's as she cried.
"I know baby, I know" she said sadly, blinking away
her own tears. "You know, You and Sonny remind me of Aunt Adella every
day, she would be so proud of you two" she said as Leah bit her lip and
choked back a sob.
"God Lans-..." she said before she broke down in
tears.
Leanna closed her eyes tightly, trying her hardest to comfort
her cousin, but knowing that she could only get better on her own. Lucky had
left her with strict instructions to take care of his wife when he left that
morning for work, and she would try as best as she could to make it work.
"I love you sweetie, It's going to be ok" she
whispered, rocking slowly like Sonny had done the night before while Leah
continued to cry.
*PH 4*
Carly woke up suddenly and jumped out of bed, getting an
unnerved feeling that something was wrong with her sister. She quickly took her
shower and rushed downstairs as fast as she could, as Sonny watched her from the
couch with Morgan in his arms.
She ran across the hall, completely forgetting to knock as she
flew into her sister in-laws room, only to see her crying with Leanna's arms
around her. Her heart broke as she watched Leah sob uncontrollably, wrapping
her arms around her stomach she bit her lip to keep from crying. She started to
walk up to the bed as Courtney burst into the room loudly, causing Leah to jerk
her tear stained face up.
"Ok, Cort's here... Everythings fine" she said breathlessly,
rushing to the bed and getting in as she took her baby sister in her arms while
Leanna sniffled and hopped out, standing next to Carly who watched the scene in
front of her with tears streaming down her face.
Courtney started whispering something into Leah's ear as she bit
her lip and nodded, pain evident on her face that she was unable to make
disappear.
Carly was desperate for a way to make her sister in-law better
when all of a sudden she remembered a certain project that her and Courtney had
worked on while Leah was on her honeymoon and jumped slightly, whistling to get
everyone's attention as Courtney and Leah both looked up at her.
Carly cleared her throat uncertainly, shifting in her spot as
they all watched her. "Um, Court... Don't we have something to show
Leah?" she asked, motioning towards the door as Courtney raised her
eyebrow before finally getting the hint.
"Ooooh!! Yes we do, come on honey" she said, helping
her sister out of bed as she whimpered, pulling at her baggy sweatpants and
T-shirt, while her hair hung loosly in a high ponytail.
Carly turned to Leanna... Who, along with Leah, looked
completely out of it.
"Sweetie, why don't you go back to the penthouse and take
care of Alex? Court and I can take it from here" she said as Leanna smiled
gratefully while nodding her head, rubbing Leah's back before taking her leave.
Courtney lead her sister out of the bedroom, through the living
room into what had once been Leah's storage/Office room. Leah opened her eyes
slowly as they opened the door, only to gasp as she looked around in awe.
Carly and Courtney had completely transformed the bare room into
a beautiful Baby nursery. There were Two cribs across from each other, one was
painted Lilac with the name Mikayla written on it in white, small flowers were
printed all over it. On the other one was the Name Caroline written in white
over a pink crib, which had small shopping bags and makeup accessories all over
it.
An elegant white dresser was in the corner with a framed picture
of Leah's latest Sonogram. Several baby dresses and nightgowns were already
placed in the drawers, along with a few small pairs of socks and onesies. Along
with everything else were two identical dressers, each standing next to their
relative crib.
Leah's body shook slightly as she started to cry softly, but the
difference was that she was crying in sheer joy.
She pounced on Carly, holding her tightly as Carly smiled and
gave her a gentle squeeze. Courtney felt left out so she marched over to her
sister and pulled her into an embrace, rubbing her back soothingly.
"It's so beautiful" Leah finally said, gazing around
once more as Carly and Courtney smiled. "How did you guys know what I
wanted to name the twins?" she asked uncertainly, wiping at her remaining
tears as Courtney pointed to Carly who had a guilty look on her face.
"Lucky told me, I was helping him decorate it and I took
over when you guys left for your honeymoon." She told her as Leah smiled
happily, clasping her hands together as she looked over two identical lace
dresses that lay inside one of the cribs.
"God, you guys, I love it!" she said, all rememberance
of her sadness gone for the time being as she thought about her babies.
"So what are the full names?" Courtney asked
enthusiastically as Leah giggled.
"Caroline Laura Spencer and Mikayla Leslie Spencer...
Mikayla is also after Sonny." she said, blushing slightly as Carly burst
out laughing.
"I love it! He's going to shit himself" she said,
shaking her head in amusement as Courtney chuckled.
"Kayla and Carly, too cute" she said, hugging her
sister who grinned in excitement.
Courtney and Carly didn't want to ruin Leah's good mood so they
should her all of the little outfits and toys that they had gotten for the
girls and watched as she enjoyed herself for the first time since she was home.

~Chapter 45~
*PH 3*
Leah was sitting in the middle of the twins' nursery, her hair slightly
damp from the shower she had taken moments ago and she was holding two small
pink lace dresses in her lap, smiling to herself as she imagined her babies in
them. Carly and Courtney had left several hours earlier after Leah had insisted
that they go home to their husbands. After some coaxing and reasurring them
that she would be fine all alone, they decided to leave to their respective
homes while Leah got some much needed peace and quite. She hadn't thought of
her mother's death since that morning, which now being 4 o'clock in the
afternoon, was quite a while ago.
Leah sighed deeply and replaced the dresses back into their
drawers, carelessly walking out of the room she shut the nursery door behind
her and made her way into the living room. As soon as she came in through the
doorway she saw her father walking through the front door while shutting it
behind him, looking up at his youngest daughter with a nervous and sad
_expression on his face.
Leah looked away from him and took a seat on the couch, grabbing
her favorite throw pillow from a pile on the floor as Mike shifted over to her
and sat down, wringing his hands as they drifted into an awkward silence.
Mike opened his mouth as if he was about to say something when
instead, he closed it and stared sadly at his daughter.
"Daddy..." Leah said uncertainly, furrowing her brows
in a confused state of mind.
Mike jerked his head slightly to concentrate on Leah as her eyes
met his.
"How do you deal with it? the pain..." She asked,
looking down at her hands, frusterated tears seeping out of her eyelids.
"What do you mean sweetheart?" He asked her obliviusly
as she rubbed her hands over her face furiusly.
"I can't stop thinking about her!!" She cried,
flinging her arms out as Mike jumped slightly. "I can't stop thinking
about how things would have been different if she was alive.. and I hate
it!" she said, clenching her teeth together as Mike cleared his throat.
"Leah, I wish I could do something about your pain... I
wish that I could make it go away so you can be happy with your husband.. But
this is your battle to fight, not mine. The pain that I have inside from losing
your mother is not as strong as it was when she first died, but it's still
there, even after 19 years. And I don't think it ever will truly go away,
because the memories of her will never go away." He said to her as she
cried gently, leaning her face into her pillow as Mike scooted closer to her
and turned so that he could wrap his arms around her.
"You and Sonny are all I have left of Adella, and I thank
god that I have you two every day that I am alive, and that is all I can do.
Your expecting to much of yourself and you are blaming yourself for something
that was an accident and was in no way your fault." He told her sternly as
she squeeked and leaned her head into his chest like a small child.
"Baby, Telling you that you shouldn't feel guilty is going
to get old real fast, especially if you choose not to believe it. Somehow, your
going to have to figure out for yourself a way that you can get over this pain
instead of crying every time you have a birthday... It's no way to live, and it
certainly is no way to celebrate." he told her, smiling at the last part
as she returned it slightly and rubbed her eyes, pulling away from him as he scooted
back.
"I want to be happy, I do... But I have this place in my
heart that she was supposed to fill and i-... it hurts" she said, her
voice soft and shaky, causing Mike to lean in to be able to hear her.
"I just want to know that she doesn't blame me... I can't
live with myself, knowing that she died after bringing me into the world, how
am i not supposed to feel guilty about that?!" she cried, looking at her
father obviusly as he frowned.
"Daddy, this pain is killing me" Leah said, choking
out a sob as Mike closed his eyes and sighed gently, pulling his daughter close
and kissing the top of her head as she rested her head where his heart was.
"I'm so sorry" she whispered, mostly to her father for
the loss of his love, but also to her mother, god only know's how much she
hoped that her mother would forgive her.
A half hour later, Leah passed out from exaustion. Mike slowly
and carefully pulled out from her grasp and wrapped her up in a spare blanket
that had been lying on the chair next to them. He stood up and kissed her
forehead softly just as Sonny walked into the penthouse, a large paper bag in
his arms.
"Hey, how is she?" he asked worriedly as Mike's
_expression turned solemn.
"She can't let it go, it's tearing her up inside, and I
don't know what to do" he told his son as Sonny sighed and set the bag on
the kitchen counter before walking back over and standing behind the couch.
"Do you think she will ever be able to get through
this?" he asked hopefully, brushing his fingers through his sister's hair
as she stirred slightly underneath her blanket.
"I hope so, for her sake, and for the girls' sake as
well." Mike said, rubbing his temples as Sonny bit his lip.
*PH 2*
Jason slept in late that morning and woke up to find Courtney's
side of the bed empty and cold. He rubbed his eyes full of sleep and scooted
himself out of the large king bed.
"I hope she's not trying to save the world again"
Jason joked to himself, knowing how much Courtney liked to help other people
with their problems instead of dealing with her own. The good thing about this
time was that they had no problems to fix, as far as he knew.
He walked down the stairs and her light blonde hair immediately
caught his eye, where she was sitting on their couch, sipping a glass of juice
while smelling the aroma coming from the coffee can that she had out in front
of her. Jason fought hard against his urge to laugh and walked around the couch
so that he could sit next to her.
She looked up at him as she noticed a shift in her seating level
and smiled slightly, giving him as much welcome as she could bare without
showing how worried she was.
Jason brought his hand up to her face and brushed a few stray
pieces of hair away while cupping her cheek into his palm. She turned her head
and kissed the inside of his hand softly before placing her own on top of his.
"Burrying yourself in work again?" he asked her as
soon as she got herself situated against his chest. Before she gave him an
answer he lifted up a book that had been in her lap and a smile graced his lips
when he saw what it was.
'Modern Bride Magazine'
"Something to get my mind off of other things" she
said innocently, her eyes connecting with his as Jason figured out what was
bothering her.
"It's not good, is it." Jason said unwillingly,
closing his eyes and leaning his head back against the arm of the couch.
All Courtney could do was shake her head and bite her lip to
keep from crying, feeling helpless against her raging hormones and the hard
emotions that were surfacing as she watched the pain destroy what was left of
her sister.
"I'm so scared Jase, It's like she's disappearing right in
front of me, and I can't do anything to fix it." she said almost in awe,
as if she couldn't believe everything that was happening while Jason just sat
and wrapping his arms around her waist and rested them on her stomach, taking
in a deep breath as he listened to her.
"She'll be alright, she's been through worst things... She
fought against the memory of losing her baby... she fought through killing both
AJ and Faith... and killing a man in cold blood is not an easy thing to get
over, no matter how hard you hold yourself." Jason said, speaking out of
experience as Courtney shuddered at the thought of what he had been ordered to
do by her brother in the past. "She's stronger than all of this, I would
have been surprised if she hadn't broken down... Even the coldest person can be
broken at some of the smallest things."
"I just can't help but worry about her, she's my baby
sister.. She seems so fragile and delicate, it's hard to see her like
this." Courtney said, thinking back to earlier that morning when she ran
into her sister's penthouse, finding her pale, shaking and crying in her
cousin's arms. It was the most devestating sight that Courtney had ever seen.
"I know baby, I know" Jason said, kissing the top of
her head as she placed her hands on top of his and breathed in the scent of his
cologne.
"Are these helping at all?" Jason asked, motioning his
head towards the small stack of Bridal magazines that Courtney had borrowed
from Carly.
"A little.. I just wish Leah could help... as this is her Journey
wedding." she stated, smiling gently as Jason chuckled and nodded in
agreement.
"So do I... But you know, I think Leah would rather us have
this wedding instead of putting it off because of her, she would totally kick
my ass over that one" he said in a low tone of voice as Courtney giggled
and shook her head, although thinking in the back of her mind that what he said
was true.
"I'll get to it... sooner or later.. I'll get to it."
Courtney said, pushing everything out of her mind as she relaxed on the couch
with the man she loved, and their daughter growing inside of her.
*PH 4*
Carly skipped down the staircase after reading Morgan his
afternoon nap story and saw Leanna and Samuel hunched over the coffee table
that had something that looked like a newspaper on top of it. With the curiuse
wheel's in her head spinning faster than ever, Carly approached them with
caution, knowing that when the Corinthos women feel threatened they are known
to do unexplainable damage, and damage was what Leanna excelled in.
Leanna could feel someone's presence behind them and recognized
the breathing pattern of someone who was trying to be sneaky, invisible and
sly, only they weren't... and that was Carly. She played it off and looked at
Samuel, raising her eyebrows suggestivly as his eyes widened, knowing from
experience that this meant Carly-babes was approaching. Samuel carefully slid
the paper off of the table and into his pocket just as Carly came into view.
"Hey guys, whatchya doin?" she asked sweetly, looking
around as she scanned the area while giving proper meaning to the term
'curiousity killed the cat'.
"Carly... Carly why are you asking?" Leanna asked,
trying to get her friends attention as she continued to look for the piece of
evidence.
"Just-..." She started when Samuel interupted her
halfway.
"..- Curious?" he asked as she scowled at him while
Leanna grinned, giving her approval.
"Sorry father, I didn't know it was a crime" Carly
said smartly as Samuel looked at her in surprise, causing her to smirk in
victory.
"Smartass" Leanna coughed as Carly narrowed her eyes.
"You guys were doing something and I just want to know what
it was, I mean come on... Whats so bad about it? Were you trying to find
someone to buy your baby or something?" she asked in frustration as Leanna
burst out laughing.
"Carly!" She cried in protest as Carly shrugged.
"What?" She asked as Samuel and Leanna looked at each
other.
"If you want to know so badly, we were just looking for a
new place to stay... for good." Leanna said as Carly gasped and brought
her hands to her mouth.
"Oh my god, that's such a big step for you!" she cried
as Leanna scrunched up her face and whimpered.
"I know!" she said before grabbing Carly in a sad
embrace while Samuel sat and shook his head, flipping through the For Sale
section of the Port Charles Gazette.
"Lans! They have a space available in this one
place..." He yelled while her and Carly jumped apart.
"What one place?" she asked questioningly as Carly bit
her lip anxiusly.
"THIS one place" he said, waving his hands around as
Carly squeeled.
"See! Problem solved." she said simply, although
Leanna was not as easily sold.
"Wait, where the hell is there a spot available here?"
she asked as Samuel checked the paper once more.
"It's one floor beneath this one, and the deadline to put
our bid in is tonight." He told her as she furrowed her brow.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to check..." she said as
Carly scoffed.
"Fine! I guess if it's one floor lower.." she said
unwillingly as if she had a choice in the matter while Samuel and Leanna both
shook their heads and laughed.
*PH 2*
After their relaxing time together, Jason got a quick shower and
ran out of the penthouse to take care of some little things for the ware house,
leaving Courtney to fawn over the beautiful wedding gowns in her magazines.
"God, they are too beautiful" she told herself,
shaking her head at the thought of wearing something so elegant for something
that would be over in a few short hours. She knew that both Sonny and Jason
would want her to get the most gorgeous dress she could find, but she was still
skeptical about the prices. She couldn't help it, she was a bargain hunter.
"Maybe if there's a sale." she said aloud, throwing
her magazine off to the side as she grabbed the remote from the floor and
turned teh TV on. Once the volume and screen adjusted, The Style channel came
into view and Courtney watched as tiny model's walked up and down the catwalk
wearing beautiful Vera Wang dresses.
"oh crap" she said to herself, yearning to be able to
wear something so amazing. "I'm screwed." she stated as they brought
out a dress completely made of silk and lace.

Jason made sure that Courtney was out of the room before he
pulled out his cell phone. He had something planned for her, hoping that it
would give her the relaxation that she needed while also giving them some time
alone without interruption. He started dialing Max's number and waited until he
heard the guards voice on the other end.
"Yeah" Max said, sighing tiredly as Jason rolled his
eyes.
"Max, is the plan ready?" he asked as Max jumped
slightly.
"Oh ye-yes sir, Marco has the place ready for
you." he answered stiffly, awaiting an answer of approval.
"Alright Max, thanks alot... This will be perfect for Courtney.
Once you sign out you can take the rest of the night off." He said as Max
almost jumped out of his skin with excitement.
"Thanks boss, enjoy your getaway" The man said as Jason
chuckled at his friends enthusiasm and shut his phone off just as Courtney
started walking down the stairs, a beautiful red silk dress flowing over her
body with her hair pulled up away from her face.
"What plan were you and Max talking about?" she asked
curiously, walking down from the last step as Jason gulped.
"Uh.. It's um-..." he mumbled, fighting with himself
as he tried to make up a cover story.
"-...Business?" She asked, raising her eyebrows as
Jason slapped his forehead in dismay.
"Thats it!" He cried loudly as she opened her mouth in
surprise. Staring at him in wonder she giggled softly, shaking her head as she
sat down on the couch while Jason watched her closely through her dress.
"Court... Honey..." Jason started, walking over to her
and sitting down at her side as she looked up at him. "Do you trust
me?" he asked, catching her off guard as she questioned him with her eyes.
"Of course I do Jason, why would you ask me that?" she
asked as he bit his lip and took her hand gently in his.
"I want to do something for you, but you need to trust me,
ok?" he said, love and yearning in his eyes. Courtney smiled and leaned in
slowly, her hand going to his cheek as she kissed his lips softly.
"Ok" she said simply, leaning her forehead against his
as he smiled. Jason carefully got up, helping Courtney up with him just as
Carly burst into the room.
"Hey kids! Whats the plan?" She asked, bouncing
quickly in her spot as Both Jason and Courtney's eyes widened in surprise.
"Carly-..." Jason started saying when she shrieked
loudly and out of no where.
"Ahhhhhhhhhiiiiiiii!!" she screamed as Courtney's
mouth opened in shock.
Jason felt like breaking down in tears as his ears shook from
Carly's screams. "How does Sonny live with her?" he asked himself as
Leah burst into the room, causing the door to slam against the wall as Courtney
and Jason gasped... Things just kept getting weirder and weirder.
"Alright, I've got this... You two should make a run for it
in case she goes in for the kill" She said loudly, trying to be heard over
the noise that Carly was making as Courtney burst out laughing while Jason
nodded, taking her warning seriusly and wondering how she had went from basket
case to world leader in a matter of 2 hours.
Courtney ran to her sister and gave her a quick hug, whispering
in her ear as Carly shut her mouth abruptley and started to stare at Jason.
"I love you sis" Courtney said as Leah squeezed her
sister in an embrace and closed her eyes.
"I love you too" She said, pulling away and bringing
her hands up to Courtney's face, kissing her cheek quickly as Jason whimpered.
"Now go, I'll handle the devil Woman, Sonny obviusly hid the Chunky
Monkey" She said, shaking her head as Courtney giggled and nodded, rushing
over to Jason and taking his hand as they fled from the penthouse, leaving Leah
and Carly to face off.
Once the door was shut Leah turned to Carly and burst out
laughing, slapping her a high five as Carly snorted.
"Shit, it's about time.. I thought they would never
leave!" Leah cried, rolling her eyes as Carly grinned and nodded in
agreement. "Loved the growling by the way, I think Jason really thought
you had Rabies!" Leah added happily as Carly started laughing hysterically
and had to hold on to a counter for support.
*Vista Point*
Jason roared up to the cliff on his motorcycle with Courtney
holding onto his waist tightly, her face buried into his leather Jacket as he
turned off the powerful machine.
"Courtey, Baby we're here." Jason said soothingly as
Courtney brought her head up carefully and gasped at her surroundings.
"Jase, oh my god, did you do all of this?" she asked
in awe, glancing around at every little detail of the surprise that Jason had
spent all afternoon planning.
He had asked Max and Marco to bring up a large picnic Basket,
filled with all of Courtney's favorite foods, a small jukebox and a large
fleece blanket. Unexpectedly, they had also strung up a row of small white
lights, giving the place a surreal look.
Jason stepped over to the CD player and slyly pressed the play
button as Courtney hopped off the bike while re-adjusting her dress.
I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through
Courtney grinned as she heard the sweet music. Jason knew that
Billie Holiday was one of Courtney's favorite singers, mostly because it reminded
her of Lila, and he loved seeing her smile when she listening to it. Courtney
turned around, staring down at her feet as she made her way towards him.
In that small cafe;
The park across the way;
The children's carosel;
The chestnut trees;
The wishin' well
Once she reached him she brought one hand up to cup his face,
staring lovingly into his eyes as he stared back with the same passion, the
same devotion for her. They leaned in together as they're lips met in a
powerful, passionate kiss. Some would call it mind blowing, both of them
kissing each other hungrily, devouring the other as if they couldn't get
enough, it was enough to make the most content person in the world ache for
more.
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.
Jason wrapped one arm around Courtney's waist as the other met
her soft skin, cupping her cheek gently as she sucked on his bottom lip. The
sun began to sink in the distance as the clouds started to fade into the black
sky. Courtney started to run her hands up and down Jasons chest, pressing his
firm body against hers as they kissed each other into oblivion. Jason slowly
leaned them down to the ground, resting his body on top of Courtney's against
the soft blanket.
I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.
Needing to feel his skin on hers, Courtney tore at Jason's
jacket, pushing it off of him as clothes started to fly in every direction.
Courtney's dress was the next to go, revealing her perfect body, her well
sculpted breasts hidden by a red lace bra. Jason's eyes grew dark with desire
as his gaze washed over her. His eyes fell upon her rounded stomach and he
slipped down, pressing his lips against her abdomen as she whimpered, biting
her lip before taking her hand and leading his lips back up to her own,
capturing them as the need mounted inside of her, she had never loved him more
than she did at that moment.
*PH 11*
Leanna and Samuel had filled out all of the neccessary forms
earlier that afternoon with the help of Sonny's lawyer, who he had insisted
they should talk to despite Samuel's legal knowledge. Now they were on they're
way down to the Landlords office, waiting anxiously in the middle of the
elevator.
Leanna shifted nerviously, her fingers flying into her mouth as
she bit her nails, a habit she had failed to get rid of since the 7th grade.
Samuel noticed her behavior and took her in his arms, kissing the top of her
head as he felt the tension in her body lift slightly.
"It's going to be ok" he told her soothingly as she
bit her lip.
"What if we don't get it?" she asked worriedly, fear
growing in the pit of her stomach as Samuel rubbed his hand up and down her
arm.
"Then We'll keep looking, it will be ok Lans" he said
firmly as the doors opened. Samuel led her out of the elevator as they weaved
through groups of people, walking down several halls before they came to the
right door.
Leanna stared at it for several minutes before pulling away from
Samuel's grip and turning herself around, shaking her head in dismay.
"I can't do it! I can't do it.. this is too-..." she
started before Samuel grabbed her arm and pulled her back over to him just as
the door opened and a middle aged bawlding man appeared.
"Well hello there, Can I help you?" he asked
cheerfully as Leanna whimpered sadly.
"Uh... Yes, I believe you Can." Samuel stuttered,
clearing his throat before continueing. "My wife and I are having a baby
a-..." he started when Leanna interrupted him carelessly.
"Not now of course! I'm not in labor or anything" She
said honestly as Samuel's eyes widened.
"um.. alright, we just wanted to come down and drop off the
papers and see if we could look around?" he said as Leanna nodded
furiously.
"That's right, just looking around... no guarrentees!"
She cried as the Landlord smiled at Samuel understandingly.
"Of course, Here's the key for you.. and just drop it off
once your finished. I'll look over your papers while you checking the place
over" he offered as Samuel nodded and handed him their folder while
grabbing the Penthouse key's in return, leading Leanna away from the man.
"I cannot believe you" he said to her, shaking his
head in shock as she gave him an innocent look.
Once they had made their way up one more floor and down several
halls, Penthouse 11 was staring at them right in the face, the large oak door
standing like wrapping paper, hiding away the prize.
Samuel took the keys in his hands and unlocked the door quickly,
pushing the door open as both him and Leanna gasped.
The penthouse was varnished in dark mahogany and Black colors,
looking very chic and sophisticated. There was a large black leather couch in
the living room, a large oak Baby grand in the side parlor, leading into the
newly renovated Kitchen, white counter tops gleaming next to expensively clean
appliances.
"There is no way that we can afford this!" Leanna
declared automatically as they entered the master bedroom with the largest
deluxe bathroom that she had ever seen. That bathroom could have eaten Sonny's
bathroom.
"That's why you have a cousin" Samuel said, shrugging
his shoulders as she slapped him across the chest.
"God, this is so beautiful... Someone is going to have
gotten this already... there is no way that someone could not have gotten
this!" She said loudly as Samuel tried to quite her down.
"Alright baby, just calm down ok? sheesh" he said,
rolling his eyes as the landlord walked into the room unexpectadly.
"Hey there you two, enjoying the tour?" he asked as
Samuel grabbed Leanna's hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
"This place is beautiful" Samuel said simply, unable
to think of anything more to say as Leanna took a deep breath.
"I'll have to agree with you on that... and I'm happy to
say that you two are the new lucky couple who own's it." he said as Both
Leanna's and Samuel's mouths dropped open in shock.
"Your kidding right?" Samuel asked, standing in utter
disbelief before Leanna started to shriek.
"Oh my GOD!!!!!!!" She screamed, jumping ontop of
Samuel, her arms wrapped around his neck as he let out a relieved laugh and
spun the two of them around, burrying his face in her hair.
"Oh my God!!!!" She cried again, leaping off of Samuel
and pouncing onto the landlord who was caught off gaurd and fought to stand up
straight against the weight of this young woman. "Thank you thank you
thank you!" she said loudly, hugging the man tightly as he nodded and
smiled.
"No problem my dear, you two enjoy it" he said,
pulling away from her and making sure that Samuel had the keys before taking
out the final papers for them to sign.
Once Samuel pulled out that Pen and they both had their
signatures on the dotted lines, the happy couple stood in the middle of their
penthouse. Not Sonny's penthouse, not Jason and Courtney's, not even Leah's...
It was Theirs.

Chapter 47 Spoilers !!
Leah get's closure... but how?
Carly discovers her half finished nursery... What will she do?
Jason takes Courtney to get her wedding gown
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~Something More~
~Chapter 47~
*PH 2*
Jason and Courtney had stayed at vista point until dawn, lying
together underneath Jason's leather Jacket after making love to each other as
the sun rose up from the darkness. Later, Jason sat on his motorcycle, placing
Courtney on the seat in front of him so that he could keep an eye on her as she
drifted off into sleep during the ride home. Once they arrived at Harbor view
towers Jason picked her up in his arms and carried her up to their penthouse,
sticking to the elevator instead of risking the stairs. They slept in til
around 9 am, waking up to the sound of Morgan and Michael screaming across the
hall as Sonny shouted for them to put his shot glass' down. Jason shook his
head and snorted in amusement at the charade as Courtney smiled and rolled out
of bed, kissing Jason's cheek before she jumped into the shower.
Once she got out, Jason was ready and waiting for her with a mug
of Decaf _Mocha Java espresso, her favorite. She laughed at the innocent look
on his face and kissed his lips firmly before shooing him out of the room so
she could change. She hurriedly pulled a red fitted baby tee over her head and
slipped into a pair of blue jeans, brushing her hair impatiently as she slid
her feet into a pair of matching flip flops.
She skipped downstairs, gulping down the non caffenated drink as
she sighed happily. Carly had given Jason the coffee mixture as a surprise for
Courtney. It was one of Carly's secrets for pregnancy, how to survive
with/without coffee. Jason was sitting on the dark couch, his feet stretched
over the coffee table lazily as he lifted his head up slightly to look at her.
"Shhhh" he said, bringing his finger up to his mouth
as he pulled out his cell phone. Courtney gave him a confused look as he only
winked at her and started to dial a number.
"Hello?" Carly asked, answering her phone as Courtney
leaned over the Couch arm.
"Hey Carly, I know that Courtney and I were supposed to
come over for lunch today but I'm going to be taking her to get her wedding
gown so we're going to have to reschedule." he said, sighing in fake
sadness as Carly gasped on the other line.
"Oh my god, are you really?!?" She cried loudly,
sounding like a shrill whistle while Courtney raised her eyebrows at the noise.
"uh yeah, but don't say anything ok? It's supposed to be a
surprise." Jason warned as Carly protested before unwillingly agreeing.
"alright, I won't say anything" She said, hanging up
the phone as Jason rolled his eyes, motioning for Courtney to look at the
penthouse door just as it swung open and Carly ran in.
"Court! Jason's taking you to get a wedding dre-..."
she started yelling before she saw Jason lying sprawled on the couch.
"Shit" she muttered, turning around quickly before
racing back out again.
Courtney burst out laughing at the scene and shook her head at
Jason, who ran his hands through his hair indiginantly.
"Your so bad" She told him, trying to hold her
laughter in as his face broke out into a shocking Grin.
"I know." he said, pulling her down on top of him on
the couch, kissing her passionately as she gasped before getting comfortable
and situating herself in between his legs, kissing him back with just as much
force.
"I love you" Jason said, pulling away and cupping her
cheek into his palm as she rested her chin on his chest.
"I know" she said, kissing him again quickly as he sat
in confusion. "I'm kidding, I love you too" she said, giggling as he
sighed and shook his head, trying to make her think that his feelings were
hurt.
"So were you serious?" She asked, bringing her fingers
up as she started playing with his hair. Jason Gave her a look as if to say
'don't mess with the hair'. She rolled her eyes playfully as he chuckled and
sat upright against the arm of the couch.
"About getting you a wedding dress?" he asked, waiting
for her to answer as she nodded in response. "Of course, as soon as your
ready, we'll go." he told her as she shrieked and ran up the stairs to do
her makeup.
Jason held back a chuckle and got up, crossing the room to the
door as he pulled it open and traveled down the hall. He walked up to Leah's
door, taking a deep breath before pushing it open.
*PH 3*
Leah sat on her couch, stiff as a board. She was staring off
into space, her eyes red and puffy, hiccups unevening her breathing. Lucky had
come home that night and lyed with her as she cried herself to sleep for the
3rd night in a row. She tried to block the rest of the world off as much as she
could, barely noticing when Jason walked through the door.
He looked up at her and felt his heart snap in two. The lively
girl that came in to rescue them from Carly, was slowly spiraling farther and
farther away from them. He moved over to the couch, sitting next to her as he
saw the sullen look that rested in her eyes.
"Hey beautiful" he said, trying to get her attention
as she snapped her head up to look at him, giving him a slight smile as he
furrowed his brow.
They sat in silence, something that Leah had become accustomed
too. Jason reached out, pulling his future sister in-law into his arms as she
tried to hold back a sob. She burried her face into his T-shirt, holding on
tightly as he stroked back her untamed hair.
Jason heard her saying something, although it was so soft that
it didn't sound like anything more than a squeek.
"Jase.." she said softly, almost below a whisper. He
perked his ears up and lowered his head.
"Mhhmmm?" he mumbled, kissing the top of her head as
she bit her lip.
"I'm so scared... I'm scared that I won't get over
this..." she said, shaking her head over and over again as Jason watched
her.
"Hey hey hey, Don't talk like that, your going to get
through this ok? I love you." he reminded her, bringing her face up to
look at him as tears sparkled in her brown eyes.
"I'm trying, god I'm trying so hard.. I just can't.."
She said desperatly as he cut her off.
"Can't is not allowed in this family remember?" he
said sternly, causing her to snort with laughter, wiping at her tears.
"I just need to know that she doesn't resent me, you know?
Maybe I should go on that one show... oh what is it..." She said,
searching for her answer as Jason watched her with amusement on his face.
"John Edwards! Maybe he can talk to her for me... I don't know.. It's a
crazy idea.." she said, seeing the apprehensive look on his face as she
sighed and sat up.
"I think I know what will make you feel better..."
Jason said playfully, wiggling his eye brows as she leaned back.
"Uh Jase, I know what your thinking, but I am married now
so..." She said as Jason gaped at her.
"God, what do you just live in the gutter or
something?" he asked her as she gave him an innocent look.
"Whatever, You came on to me, I saw it.." she said,
holding her hands up in mock surrender as Jason pursed his lips and stood up.
"Ok, what I was going to say was... That I'm taking
Courtney to get her wedding dress, and I know how much you love to be in charge
of that stuff, so I thought it would make you feel better to come with
us.." he said as a smile pulled at her lips.
"Of course, Jason" She said, giving him a fake grin as
he raised an eyebrow. "I know that the other reason you want me to go is
because you don't want to shop alone with Courtney." she told him as he
chuckled.
"Alright you caught me, so you'll come?" he asked
hopefully as she sighed and nodded. "Great, Take as long as you need to
get yourself together, Court's putting her make up on so it will be a few more
hours" he said as she grinned and kissed his cheek, watching him as he
walked out of the penthouse door.
"How are you going to get through this?" she asked
herself aloud, resting her hands on her bulging stomach.
*PH 4*
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Michael screamed, running
around the house as Morgan waddled after him, each kid holding one of Sonny's
shot glasses.
"Michael, Michael put that down!" He yelled, picking
up toys as he ran after the two boys.
CRASSSSSSSSSSH
Sonny straightened up in shock as both Morgan and Michael's
mouths hung open, their hands outstretched as a pile of glass lay beneath them.
"Oh my God" Sonny said, breathing deeply as Michael
and Morgan stood in silence. Both kids unable to move for fear that their
father would explode.
"Boys, Go upstairs now.. I'll be there in a minute."
Sonny ordered, rubbing his hand over his face as his sons crept up the stairs,
looking back to make sure that Sonny hadn't fainted.
At that moment, Carly walked into the penthouse, a grin on her
face which quickly disappeared as she saw the pile of glass on the floor.
"Whoa, it looks like WWII happened in here." She
muttered softly, looking around for someone else to be there with her husband,
someone who would cause him to throw yet another glass. "What
happened Sonny?" she asked calmly, setting her purse on the desk as she
walked over to him.
"This is what happens when you leave me home alone with
those demon children." Sonny muttered, shaking slightly as Carly gave him
a look.
"Don't bull shit me Sonny, who did you throw the glass at
this time?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest as Sonny blinked
at her.
"who did I t-... Carly; Michael and Morgan were running
around with my glasses!!" He cried as she raised an eyebrow at him.
"Sonny, you don't wear glasses." She said as Sonny's
eyes practically bulged out of his head.
"Not those gla-..." He started just when the phone
rang. Carly took this as an opportunity to go upstairs and leave her husband
alone.
She snuck up the stairs, walking down the hall when she came to
an extra door that she hadn't noticed in a while.
"Sonny, What did we ever need this room for?" she
asked herself aloud, pushing the door open as Sonny walked up the stairs with
the phone in his hand. He saw her in the doorway, mouth hanging open as she
looked around the half finished baby nursery. Sonny cringed closed his eyes as
she turned around at the sound of his footsteps in the hall.
She opened her mouth as if she was going to say something,
looking like a fish breathing out of water as Sonny tried to cover his tracks.
"Leanna called for you, but I can see that your busy so
I'll just tell her to call back lat-.." he started when she interrupted
him.
"Sonny, what is this?" she asked, motioning back to
the room as Sonny looked around innocently.
"Umm..." he started before she gave him a warning.
"Don't lie to me either Sonny, I want the truth." she
said firmly, her eyes flashing as his eyes widened in fear.
"ok well, Carly I was going to make you a nursery for the
baby with Courtney's help, since Leah and Jason were doing one, and you were
doing one with Lucky. I tried to finish everything before you would notice but
then Leah got married and everything happened with Leanna and then Leah got
upset, and I didn't have any extra time to... well.." he explained, trying
to finish what he was saying as she walked towards him and pulled him into a
hug.
"I love it, even if it's only half way done" she said,
looking into his eyes sincerely as he grinned, showing his dimples.
"Well if you give me some time I'll get Courtney over here
and we can finish it be-..." he started as she held up her hand.
"No no no no no, Jason is taking her to get a wedding dress
and I would prefer it if We did this nursery.. together." she said, taking
his hand in her's as he kissed her palm and took her in his arms.
"Whatever you want Carly, we'll do it." he said as she
closed her eyes and smiled. This would be interesting.
*PH 3*
"God mom, help me.. I can't sit and cry anymore..."
Leah said, burrying her face in her hands as she muttered to herself, sitting
in her usual spot on the couch.
Leah felt a mysterious breeze blow past her as she adjusted her
clothing to keep herself and the babies warm. She flipped her hair to one side
as a lone tear fell to her cheek. "Not again.." she whispered as she
heard a woman's voice.
"Goodness girl, do I need to come down here and give you a
hormone adjustment or what?" Adella said as Leah gasped and looked up.
"Mama?" she cried, gaping at the vision as Adella held
her hands out.
"In the flesh... or well not the flesh obviously but more
like in the well... Damn it, I don't know.. but yes child, I'm here." she
blabbered on, causing Leah to smile her first genuine smile since the past few
days.
"Now what is this crying I've heard you doing for the past
week or so?" She asked, sitting down in front of her daughter on the
coffee table.
"Mama, Do you even know what yesterday was?" she
asked, wringing her hands together as Adella's ghost thought to herself.
"Um... Now I know it wasn't Arbor day... and uh.. Oh, did I
miss christmas?" she asked, folding her hands in front of her sadly as
Leah shook her head.
"No mama, not this time" she whispered as Adella
finally understood what she was talking about.
"Oh sweetie, It's your 19th birthday." She said in
awe, smiling at her daughter as Leah nodded with tears streaming down her face.
"Whats wrong baby? Did Lucky forget?" she asked
uncertainly as Leah sobbed.
"Mama You don't even remember what happened?! My birthday
cost you your life!" She yelled as Adella was taken aback. She licked her
lips and leaned over her legs, clasping her hands together as Leah bit her lip.
"Is that what's been bothering you?" She asked,
looking up at her daughter who nodded, sniffling quitely as Adella sighed.
"Mama, do you hate me?" Leah asked softly, her face twisted
with pain as Adella's _expression softened.
"Oh Angel, I could never hate you, why on earth would you
think that?" she asked, staring into Leah's deep brown eyes as Leah rubbed
them furiously.
"How could you not! Mama, you should seriously resent the
hell out of me right now, I mean, If I had never been born then you -..."
she started, yelling forcefully as Adella stood up to stand her own ground.
"Than I wouldn't have such a beautiful, smart and loving
daughter. Baby, I could never resent you! Your my child, and having you was one
of the best day's of my life, even if it was the last." she said, trying
to get her point across as Leah continued to shake her head.
"I don't get it. I just can't see how you aren't even mad
at me." she said, still shaking her head in confusion as Adella took a
deep breath, trying to figure out what to say to her.
"Ok, honey... Let's say that you had a little girl, and she
was absolutely amazing. If you didn't live through child birth, god forbid,
could you hate her for that?" she asked, as Leah choked out another sob.
"No." She whimpered, bringing her hands up to her
mouth as Adella nodded.
"... And I can't hate you either. Baby, you never asked to
be born, how could I have resented you for something I started with your
father? You and Your brother are the pride and joy of my entire life, nothing
will ever change that." she told her as Leah blinked away some of her
tears.
"Now I need you to do me a favor before I go,
alright?" she asked, earning a nod from her daughter. "I want you to
forget this, go on with your life from here." she said, causing Leah to
open her mouth in protest. "uh uh, I'm not asking you to forget me, I just
want you to move on, take care of my grandbabies so I can see that they are
healthy and beautiful and very pink when they are born, alright mama?" she
asked in her inherited Spanish accent as Leah smiled and nodded, her breathing
still a little shaky from her tears. "I love you sweetie, no matter
what." She said before disappearing.
Leah sat quitely on the couch, still trying to calm herself from
her 'conversation' with her mother.
"Alright, from now on, I'm living my life." she said
confidently, jumping off of the couch as she ran into the bathroom, ready to
start her life from where she left off, starting with planning her sister's
wedding.

~Chapter 48~
*PH 3*
After her 'meeting' with Adella, Leah rushed into the bathroom,
splashing herself with cool water as she took deep breaths to calm herself
down. "It's alright Leah, Mom's right, you can't put your life on hold
like this..." she said to herself, looking at her pale face in the mirror.
she rubbed her eyes for what seemed like the millionth time and turned around,
switching the shower knobs as she quickly jumped in, knowing that Courtney
could only be doing her makeup for so long.
Once she had gotten herself at least partly together she grabbed
her purse and keys, making sure that she had her cell phone with her after
writing a quick note to Lucky, who would be home within an hour or so. Wearing
a red tank top that slightly showed the form of her protruding belly with a
knee length jean skirt, Leah was ready. She adjusted her lipgloss quickly,
flipping her light brown hair over her shoulder as she made her way down the
hall and over to Penthouse 2. She knocked swiftly three times and waited for an
answer, tapping her foot against the floor board as she twirled her mastercard
between her fingers before slipping into her gouchi purse. Just as she looked
up Jason pulled the door open with a relieved yet slightly annoyed look on his
face.
"Hey you, where've ya been?" he asked, motioning her
foreward as he took her in his arms, breathing in her perfume thankfully as she
smiled and embraced him tightly.
"Honestly, I don't know.. but I'm here now, thats all that
matters." she said, pulling away and looking into his eyes, sighing as he
kissed her forehead and rubbed her arms supportivly. "Most of that I owe
to you, you helped me out of that dark place Jason, you never gave up on me, no
matter what I've done." she said, pulling her pain into the back of her
mind as Jason shook his head modestly.
"I'm not the only one up for credit." he told her as
she silently agreed with him, thinking of her mother. "Besides, it was
about time you came back to us, it feels like you've been gone for
centuries." he said, rolling his eyes as he glanced up the stairs.
Leah caught on to what he was looking at and she smiled gently.
"She's still not ready yet, is she?" Leah asked him, already knowing
the answer as he nodded in confirmation, looking down at the floor as he shook
his head sadly.
"I'll get her, you make sure Max is downstairs waiting for
us." she told him firmly before securing her purse over her arm and racing
up the stairs, holding onto the rail for support as Jason reached into his
pocket for his cell phone. "She's back." he thought, a giddy smile
appearing on his face as he started dialing numbers.
Leah walked down the hall and crossed into the master bedroom
where she saw her half of her sister peeking out from under the bed. Leah
raised an eyebrow and made her way over, observing the scene carefully.
"Uh Court, honey what are you doing?" she asked uncertainly
as Courtney jerked herself out from surprise.
"Oh hey sweetie! I'm just looking for some eyeliner, I
think I've lost it.." she said, lowering her head again as Leah tried to
think of a solution to this while saying to herself "yeah I think you've
lost it too.." in the back of her mind.
"Courtney you don't need eyeliner, picking out a wedding
dress is more important let's go." Leah said urgently, motioning towards
the door as her sister whimpered impatiently.
"... But... ok, can I at least get some lipgloss
first?" she asked hopefully as Leah shook her head quickly, swinging her
arms back and forth as she did so.
"I have some in my purse, just go get in the car!" She
cried loudly as Courtney scurried, grabbing her purse and coat, covering her white
and pink polka dotted strapless dress as she ran down the stairs and out the
door, heading to the garage.
*Saks Fifth Avenue - Vera Wang Bridal*
After finally getting Courtney into the car, Max drove the trio
through the city of Port Charles and out to 611 Fifth avenue, pulling right up
in front of the Vera Wang Boutique as Leah let out a shriek.
"Oh my god!! It's even more beautiful than I
imagined!" she said, covering her mouth in awe as Jason shook his head and
chuckled, opening the door as he helped both ladies out of the limo while
making sure that Max would know what time to pick them up.
"So Court, are we getting the bridesmaids dresses along
with your's, or will that be later on?" Leah asked as her and Courtney
walked up to the glass double doors.
"Later, I'm going to let you, Carly, Leanna and Emily pick
out your own dresses. Only as long as the three of you look different from
Carly." she said as Leah nodded and looked around obliviously.
There were rows upon rows of Bridesmaids dresses as Leah felt
the material girl inside of her break free. "Alright, let's begin."
She said, rubbing her hands together as the two walked up to a sales
representative with Jason fighting to keep up with them.
Twenty minutes later Jason and Leah were settled inside a
sitting area, surrounded by double sided mirrors, waiting as Courtney tried on
several different dresses that her and Leah had decided were the best. She
pulled on a strapless satin gown, included with an S shaped bodice and a
delicate jeweled brooch just above and in between her breasts. She smiled to
herself and walked out as Leah and Jason stood immediatly at the sight of her,
both grinning from ear to ear as she walked up the path and twirled around
quickly.
"Oh it's beautiful honey!" Leah boasted, her face
turning red with excitement as Courtney giggled. Blushing as Jason's eyes ran
over her body. "Turn around real quick, I want to see the back." Leah
told her as Courtney did as she was asked, moving her back towards them as she
heard a loud gasp coming from her sister, causing her to wip around in
confusion.
"Take it off! Take it off, it has bows!" Leah
exclaimed in disgust, sheilding her eyes as Jason frowned and shrugged at her.
Courtney rolled her eyes and retreated back to the dressing
room, ready to try on many more dresses that her sister would soon disregard as
well.
Once Courtney came to the last in her pile she became quite sick
of trying on dresses. She pulled it on unwillingly and lazily fastened the
ties. Turning towards the mirror her eyes widened in surprise at her
reflection, their was no way that Leah could refuse this dress. Built up with
newfound confidence she pulled the curtain back and walked the way back down to
her sister and fiance. They both looked up from the conversation and felt their
mouth's drop open in shock. Stunning. only one word could describe the way that
Courtney looked and stunning was most certainly one of them.
She grinned at their expressions and made her way over to them,
turning 180 degrees to show off the gown. The dress was Bias sheath with a deep
V neck piercing downward. Netting was crossed over and traveled to the bodice,
three small white roses were placed in the back of the neck to keep a hold of
the sheer material. The Silky material showed off her pregnant stomach
beautifully and Jason felt a tug on his heart as he glanced at her belly.
Leah nodded simply to her sister who returned the gesture before
turning back around and rushing into the dressing room, this was the dress.
*PH 4*
"... and we can get a little mobile to go over the crib,
and a huge Mickey doll! Oh, and a-..." Carly was saying as Sonny rolled
his eyes, the two of them making their way downstairs towards the living room.
Just as Carly was about to say something, the phone rang over on
the desk. Sonny walked over while Carly situated herself on the couch, still
talking about what she could do with the nursery.
"Corinthos" Sonny said exasperatedly, sighing deeply
as he heard his cousin's Italian/Brooklyn accent on the other line.
"Hey Michael, how's life going?" She asked comically,
biting her lip as Sonny raised an eyebrow to himself.
"Fine..." he said, not really knowing how to answer as
Leanna chuckled softly.
"Great, thats great Sonny.." she said quickly, causing
Sonny to become even more suspicious.
"Lans, what did you call for? Is something wrong?" he
asked uncertainly as she shook her head, oblivious to the fact that Sonny
couldn't see her.
"Nothing's wrong, I just thought you would be worried about
why we haven't been over in a while." She said, watching as Samuel took
one of their glass vase's that they had gotten out of storage.
"Well, I knew you guys would be busy and everything, I mean
you are adults." He said as Leanna nodded again.
She was about to answer him when Samuel dropped the vase on the
ground, glass flying out in different directions. "Samuel! Do you have any
Idea how expensive that was?!" She whispered loudly, covering the phone
with her hand.
Sonny heard a crash below them and groaned, stomping his foot
loudly. "Hey Keep it down!" he shouted as Leanna heard a loud bang
above them.
"Sorry!" she called, releasing her hand from the phone
as Sonny heard her from both ends.
"Oh my god, Lans was that you?!" he asked in shock as
her eyes widened..
"holy crap am I living below that phsyco?" she thought
to herself, shuddering slightly. "Yep Michael, that was me." she
said, rubbing her hand over her face as Sonny unknowingly did the same.
"How come you didn't tell me you got the penthouse?"
He asked confusedly as Carly looked up in awe.
"They got it?!" She said softly, yet loudly at the
same time. Sounding a bit hoarse as Leanna tried to hold in her laughter.
"I'm sorry cuz, I was just so preoccupied and we're trying
to unpack now as you've heard..." She said, scowling at Samuel who was
bent over with a dustpan in his hands.
"It's alright I understand. Do you mind if we come over and
welcome you two to the building?" he asked as Leanna grinned to herself.
"Of course not! Bring the kids too, and hell... bring Rocky
along, I haven't seen that dog in ages." she said as Sonny chuckled and
made plans with her to be over in fifteen minutes while Carly, already hearing
this, rushed up the stairs to get herself and the boys ready.
*PH 11*
Leanna helped Samuel carefully take out some other
decorations and placed them around, trying to get the place feeling alittle
more like a home before part of their family came over. Leanna was smoothing
out a table cloth when a knock came at the door, followed by a loud bark and a
shout from Michael. Giggling softly she rushed over to the door, pulling it
open just as Carly, Michael and Morgan cried out.
"Hiya Neighbors!" They said as Sonny shook his head in
dismay. Leanna burst out laughing as Samuel started laughing as well, coming up
behind her while he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Hey guys, come on in." She said, opening the door
wider as Rocky flew in with Michael holding onto his leash, sniffing around
every corner as he inspected the new territory.
"Kids.." Carly said to her friend, rolling her eyes as
she shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly causing Leanna to giggle once again.
"Tell me about it." She answered, looking down at her
stomach as she felt her son kicking around.
"Samuel!" She whispered loudly, motioning for him to
come over as he practically fell on his face trying to get to her.
"Whats wrong?" he asked as she grabbed his hands and
placed them on her almost flat stomach.
"Feel.. It's Alex" She said simply as his eyes widened
in surprise, feeling the movements of their baby. Their son.
"Wow, thats amazing... I love you so much" he said,
kissing her softly as she smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around his
neck, causing Michael and Morgan to groan in disgust.
"eeeeeeeeeeewwww!" they shouted, covering their eyes
quickly as Sonny and Carly chuckled.
"Sorry boys, you get enough of that at home, I know.."
Leanna said, laughing at her little cousin's as Carly gasped.
"Hey! We don't do that..." She started as Sonny
interruped her.
"Yes we do." he said flatly as Carly gave him a look.
"Can I get you guys anything to drink? Juice, Soda,
Brandy?" Leanna asked, heading into the kitchen as both Michael and Sonny
said Brandy at the same time.
Michael looked up at his father innocently, grinning as Sonny
narrowed his eyes at him. "Juice is fine." Michael said reluctantly
to his cousin as Leanna laughed again. If they kept this up, she would be
laughing all night.
*Harbor View Towers*
After paying for the elegant Wedding dress that Courtney had
picked out, the threesome was now making their way up to their penthouses,
relieved that they had at least gotten one thing out of the way for the
wedding.
"... I still can't believe that the dress only cost
2,980." Courtney said as the elevator doors opened.
"Well Honey, it was on sale." Leah pointed out
obviously, for the fifth time no less.
"I know, I know... I still can't believe it though."
She said in awe to her sister as Jason took her hand and led her down the hall.
"Sweetie, why don't we thank Leah and go home, remember we
have some things to take care of." Jason said, wriggling his eyebrows
suggestivly as Courtney cleared her throat hurriedly.
"Oh! ok, Thank you Leigh Leigh, I appreciate you coming
with us today, it really means alot to me." She said as Jason pulled her
into the penthouse. Mouthing a grateful 'Thank You' to his future sister in
law, Jason blew her a kiss and shut the door quickly, anxious to get down to
'business'.
Leah shook her head and took out her keys from her purse, seeing
that the lock had already been undone she bit her lip excitedly and pushed the
door open, walking in to find an empty penthouse.
"He must not be home yet." she thought to herself,
wondering where Lucky was as she made her way over to the desk, setting down
her keys as she felt two strong arms wrapping around her waist.
"Where've ya been?" He said as Leah giggled,
remembering what Jason had said to her earlier as she leaned into her husbands
firm chest.
"Picking out my sister's wedding dress, what about
you?" She asked, turning around in his arms as he gave her a guilty look.
"Visiting strip bars, drinking myself sick, dancing ontop
of pool tables... The usual" he said playfully as she slapped his arm.
"Baby you know I'm kidding, I was working... as usual" He said,
sighing as she let a smile cross her lips.
"I know.. I'm just glad that your here now.. You don't have
to work tonight right?" She asked as he shook his head quickly.
"Nope, I took the day off for tomorrow too, I missed being
with you" he said, leaning his forehead against her's as the phone rang.
"Damn piece of sh-.." he started saying as Leah hushed
him quickly and picked up the phone, trying to hold in her laughter.
"Hello?" she said happily, her face turning pale as
she heard the voice of her adopted father. The man who had played the role her
real father should have played so many years ago.
