~Chapter 5~

*Quartermaine Mansion*

AJ slammed through the doors with such rage that it made the walls shake, as he started making his way upstairs, Lila came rolling in on her wheel chair to see what all the commotion was about.

“Oh dear AJ are you alright? Where is Courtney?” she asked, she had always liked Courtney but thought that AJ had never treated her like she should be treated.

“Probably with your little golden boy Jason but then that’s a good thing isn’t it!” He yelled as he climbed up the stairs, leaving his grandmother in a state of shock.

“Well now, I always knew he was a strange one, but I mean really!” Lila remarked before wheeling off towards the Den.

*PH 4*

Carly had heard Bits and pieces of the Conversation that was going on downstairs but she began to get worried once she heard Sonny screaming, so she checked on Morgan and Michael before Rushing downstairs. 

“Sonny is everything ok? What’s goi-…” she started, but quickly stopped once she saw her husband hugging this strange woman in her home.

Sonny knowing Carly was probably about to explode, decided that he had to explain before something happened.

“Carly, I want you to meet my other little sister Leah.” Sonny said with a Grin, which showed his dimples and made Leah smile also.

Carly stood in shock after what her husband and just said to her. She was now looking back and forth between the two. “Well it makes since, she has his dimples, and Courtney’s eyes…” Then without another thought she shrieked and ran up to Leah, while engulfing her in a big embrace. “ANOTHER SISTER?!? OH MY GOD!!!” Carly screamed while she started jumping up and down.

Leah was staring at the woman in front of her. “Well she is something else” she thought to herself. While Carly continued her act of excitement, Sonny and Leah both started laughing so hard they could hardly breath.

“*sigh* Whoo ok, now I have some questions for you two.” Carly said while plopping down on the couch next to Leah.

“Ok go ahead” Leah said, while making herself more comfortable and containing her laughter.

“How did you find out about being related and who has which parent???” Carly asked looking at both Leah and Sonny.

So for the next hour Sonny and Leah filled Carly in on all the details of Leah’s childhood that they knew of, how their meeting had gone and how they decided to not look back on the past.

Carly now had tears in her eyes as Leah finished up her story. This poor girl had been through so much and yet she was still as strong as ever!

When Leah had finally finished, Carly pulled her into another hug, but it was not as bouncy as the last and Leah felt a sisterly bond with Carly. When they pulled apart they turned around to see smoke coming from the kitchen, and then realized that it was Sonny’s dinner that must be causing the smoke.

“NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” Sonny screamed as he raced into the Kitchen.

Leah and Carly were laughing with tears rolling down their cheeks.

“Thank god for waterproof mascara!” Leah said while wiping her eyes.

“Amen to that sister!” Carly said while standing up. “Would you like to come and meet your nephews?” Carly asked her new sister in-law.

The one thing that Leah loved Most in the world besides making fun of AJ and being with her family were Kids! Leah turned around to face Carly. “Did you just say Nephews??” Leah asked her slowly to make sure that she had understood what Carly had said.

Carly giggled at Leah’s look of confusion and hope. “Yes, your nephews” she said with a smile on her face.

Leah turned to face Carly and had the look of sheer joy on her face now as she was the one to give Carly a hug. “Thank you!” she cried while giving Carly a quick squeeze before letting go.

Carly was now laughing... Hard! “For what?” she asked.

“For giving me nephews to spoil! I always wanted Nieces or Nephews, but I had always thought I was an only child until I met Sonny and Courtney. And now you gave me what I have always hoped for!” Leah said with a grin on her face that showed her dimples.

Without another word Carly grabbed Leah’s hand and they both rushed up the stairs to go see Michael and Morgan.

After the Women had gone, Sonny walked back into the room totally exhausted. “Damn, you would think that Bullet proof windows would be easier to open than that” He said to himself while wiping his brow with his sleeve. He walked back over to the bar and was about to pour another drink for himself when he noticed a note from Mike to Leah, Courtney and himself.

Kids,

I apologize for leaving, but I have some things that need to be taken care of, Sonny please look after Leah, and make sure she gets back to her hotel safely. I hope you all get to spend some much needed time together.

Sonny crumpled up the note and threw it in the trash bin, hardly believing that Mike would leave a family get together, especially after finding out about Leah. “Never mind it is exactly what Mike would do!” Sonny said to himself, just hoping that his baby sister would not be too devastated.

Upstairs Michael was busy asking his Mother questions about His Aunt Leah, while Leah held little Morgan.

“So Aunt Leah has the same Daddy as Aunt Courtney too?” Michael asked with a confused look on his face.

“Yes Michael.” Carly giggled at her son’s question. “Aunt Leah, Aunt Courtney and Daddy all have the same Father, who is your Grandpa.”

Seeing the confused look on her nephew’s Face, Leah decided to help Carly out, so she put Morgan into his crib and gave him a kiss. “Michael why don’t you show me some of your toys that your mommy tells me your so excited about.” She said to the little boy who jumped up from his position on the floor and raced into his room across the hall with Leah at his heels.

“She fits so perfectly into this family it’s like she was never missing.” Carly said to herself as she shut the light off to Morgan’s room and headed downstairs to make sure everything with Sonny was ok.

*Quartermaine Mansion*

Courtney walked through the door hoping to not run into anyone while she went upstairs to Change before going to Sonny’s, anyone purposely meaning AJ. She got up to their room and changed her clothes from Jeans and a Tank top to a thin strapped Light Blue Satin Dress that went to her mid thigh. She then lightly refreshed her make-up and curled her light blond hair. As she grabbed a sweater and made her way downstairs she saw AJ walking out of the Living room.

“Well, look who’s here; did we not enjoy spending time with Golden Boy? Or did you just need some time to freshen up before hitting the sheets?”

Courtney decided not to waste another minute with him because she knew that she would be with Jason as soon as she got to Sonny’s and for some reason, she wanted to be with Jason more than she wanted to be with her own husband. As she walked out the door AJ looked like he was about to have an aneurism.

“Alright fine go to him, but enjoy it while it lasts, because both you and your precious sister will be with me and Jason will not even be in the picture.” He said aloud, to an empty room.

AJ walked to the nearest wall and punched it as hard as he could to relieve his frustration, barely making a dent he walked off to the kitchen to get some ice for his hand, which was slowly turning Blue and Purple, and getting more swollen by the second.

*PH 4*

As Jason walked out of his Penthouse he had about a million thoughts running through his mind. “Is Courtney already over there? Is she thinking about me? Does she have feelings for me?” he asked himself. “That is some pretty wishful thinking there Morgan, she is married after all.” He answered himself while standing in front of the door to PH 4.

Leah ran down the stairs totally drenched and laughing so hard she almost tripped over herself. Sonny who was situated on the Couch looked up at his youngest sister who was now dripping water all over his floor. “Um sis… What the hell happened?” Sonny asked her as she turned around to face him. Still laughing, she tried to answer him as best as she could. “Michael… water guns… went a little crazy… I’m a mess!” she said while collapsing into a fit of giggles.

Carly, who had seen the entire water fight between the two, came downstairs and was laughing just as hard as Leah was. “Here Leah come upstairs and I’ll help you clean up.” She said to her sister in-law, who knew she was driving Sonny crazy by getting his floor totally soaked. Still giggling, she followed Carly upstairs as Sonny got up once more to clean up the mess and go check on dinner.

Leah sat on Carly and Sonny’s bed fixing her hair and makeup while Carly went to get Leah’s dress out of the Dryer. “I cannot believe how lucky I am, I must have one of the craziest family’s ever! In a good way though.” She reminded herself as Carly walked in with her clothes.

“Ok here is your stuff now get your ass out of my robe!” Carly said playfully while smiling at Leah and handing over her dress.

“Thanks for the hospitality Carly” she said as she jokingly rolled her eyes while heading over to the bathroom and jumped, barely avoiding the pillow that Carly had just thrown at her.

A little while later Leah walked down the stairs totally refreshed and ran right into Sonny.

“Hey big brother, have you seen Dad anywhere?” she asked him, wondering where her father had gone off to.

Sonny knew that she would ask sooner or later so he rubbed his hands over his face and began telling her about the note. “Alright Leah, Mike left a note saying he had to leave because he has some things to do but don’t worry about anything because Courtney will be here soon and then we can all get to know each other.” Sonny said while giving his sister a quick hug and going over to get things ready for dinner.

Leah knew that her father would disappoint her again, since he had been doing it her entire life but for once she thought he could handle being in one place with all of his children. “Since he took the time to create them all!” she said to herself while getting an urge to walk over to the front door.

Jason stood in front of the door for about 10 minutes, not even thinking about knocking when the door opened and there was Leah, with the same outfit and fiery attitude as earlier but she looked 10 times happier. “Probably because she isn’t around AJ!” Jason thought while Leah’s screaming brought him back to reality.

“Jason!!!!” she cried while jumping into his arms.

This shocked Jason so much he almost forgot to catch her. “Hi to you to” he said to her while chuckling softly. “She has got some major personality! Reminds me of Courtney” he thought to himself, again wondering where Courtney was.

Leah noticed that Jason’s mind was somewhere else and she knew exactly where it would be. “Ok Lover boy I need to talk to you right now” she said to him while grabbing his hand and leading him upstairs into the Guest Bedroom.

* The Docks*

Courtney Stared out at the water and immediately her thoughts went to Jason, probably because of what the color of the water was and how it had a similarity with the color of Jason’s eyes, but then she remembered that today, anything reminded her of Jason.

 “Why do I keep thinking about him?” she asked herself, hoping that a sign would show up somewhere for her but all she heard was the sound of a Motorcycle driving by and then it started to rain.

“Ok well I guess that is a sign for me to leave” she said to herself while leaving the docks and heading over to PH 4.

*Quartermaine Mansion*

AJ sat upstairs in his and Courtney’s room while holding up a large bag of ice to his hand. He still could not figure out why his wife had wanted to leave him so badly to go and see Jason, of all people. “I just don’t get it” he said, trying to keep calm and avoid having to get more ice.

He sat wondering how he was going to get Courtney and her sister to go away with him, nothing came to mind except fantasies, so he decided that his plan would have to be postponed.

*PH 4*

Leah led Jason into the Guest room and shut the door. “Ok sit down” she said to him, motioning him to sit down on the bed.

“Uh Leah look I-…” he tried to finish but she stopped him before he could.

“Now!” she said firmly, knowing that he was probably wondering what the hell was going on.

“Damn she’s tough” he said while sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Ok Jase, look I need to ask you some stuff and I didn’t want to do it in front of my brother so I thought that the guest room would be as good a place as any.” She said to him, hoping that would clear up some of his confusion.

“Alright, as long as she doesn’t want to sleep with me than I’ll be ok.” He thought “because the only person I want to sleep with is Courtney.” 

Noticing that Jason had once again left her to think about her sister, Leah realized that she might not have to work that hard to get answers from him, since they were basically written all over his face.

“Hey, earth to Jason!” she said, waving her hands in front of his face. “Stay with me ok? I just need to ask you some stuff and then you can go downstairs to my sister.” She said to him with a wink.

“Wait how did yo-…” he started to ask her but she interrupted him again.

“Come on Jase I’m not stupid! I can totally see how much you like her, you couldn’t stop staring at her over at Kelly’s and you made her blush a deeper shade of red then Sonny’s marinara sauce!” Leah told him, hoping to get her point across that she knew of his feelings for her sister. “And don’t even think of lying to me because I’ll be able to tell!” She added, knowing he was about to cave into telling her everything she wanted to know.

“Leah, I have to idea what you’re talking about” he said simply, trying to avoid the question at hand.

“Oh come on! You are making this very difficult for me, all I want you to do is tell me the truth.” She said to him as he looked out the window and began to stare out into space.

Courtney walked out of the Elevator and she had a feeling that Jason was already inside the Penthouse. She walked up to the door and Max didn’t even ask her to wait since she was part of the Family. As she walked in Carly came running up to her.

“Hey Court! I met Leah earlier, she is sooo adorable!” Carly said with excitement creeping into her voice. “She and Michael got into this big water fight and she.. Courtney?” she said noticing that Courtney had not been paying attention to a thing that Carly had said.

“*sigh* ok Courtney, remember where it is?” Carly asked, trying to bring Courtney out of her thoughts.

“Carly what are you tal-…” she said before Carly interrupted her.

“The guest room, that’s where Leah is… isn’t that what you were thinking about?” she asked, with a confused and intrigued look on her face.

“Oh umm yeah ok guest room, got it, thanks Carly.” Courtney said while giving Carly a quick smile and headed up the stairs.

“God I need help!” Courtney thought to herself. “How am I going to stop thinking about him?”

“Jason? Hello are you listening to me?” she said to him, once again trying to get his attention.

“Wha-.. What? Oh yeah sorry I just kind of lost it there.” He said, trying to get himself to concentrate on something other than Courtney, which he knew would not be easy.

“Ok so DO you like my sister? Or not? Am I wasting my time hoping for Journey babies? Or not?” she asked him. Finally getting his attention he turned to face her.

“Journey babies?” he asked, looking utterly confused.

Leah giggled at his confusion. “yes Jase, Journey babies, Journey is the names Jason and Courtney intertwined into one name, which ends up to be Journey, so it means Yours and Courtney’s children…” she finished, watching his reaction with an amused look on her face.

“His and Courtney’s children… They’re children… If only…” he thought to himself coming back to reality and looking at Leah.

“Ok so are you going to answer my questi-…”she said but was interrupted when Courtney opened the door.

Courtney didn’t even notice Jason sitting on the bed as she walked over to Leah and gave her a hug. “Hey sweetie! I am so glad to see you again I have been so stressed out to-…” she started saying but looked up and looked right at Jason.

“Hey Jason I didn’t see you there for a second, it’s good to see you!” she said trying to break the silence as she walked over to him and gave him a warm hug which he returned without a second thought.. It just felt right..

“Ok well *cough* I am going to go” Leah said noticing that Courtney was about to leave to she decided to speak up and make her stay. “No! Courtney why don’t you stay here with Jason and I’ll go check on Sonny and see how dinner is and then I’ll come back and get you two when it’s done… k?” she said with a grin on her face.

“Alright” both Jason and Courtney said at the same time, which made Leah smile.

“This might actually be easier than I thought.” She said to herself as she walked down the stairs.

Jason couldn’t believe that she was there with him, standing there, more beautiful than he could have ever imagined and he was for once to nervous to say anything! After what seemed like hours, he finally got up the courage to talk to her.

“Would you like to sit down?” he asked her, wincing and silently beating himself up for sounding like a Jackass.

Courtney noticed that after Jason had asked her to sit down he had a weird look on his face.  “Is he just trying to be polite so he doesn’t look like an asshole or something?” she asked herself hoping that her accusations weren’t true.

 “Sure” she said as she walked over to the bed and sat down next to him.

Jason decided that he wanted to talk to her because the silence was killing him, being alone in a room… with a bed… with the woman he…? What did he feel for her? Before he could say anything or try to make himself look somewhat promising towards Courtney, Leah ran into the room.

“Hey guys, sorry to interrupt! But Dinner is now ready, finally!” she said with a sigh looking back and forth between the two. She slowly realized that she should have waited and just let their dinners get cold.

“Oh well, we will have plenty of time to work on this later…” she thought to herself. “I just wanted to set things in motion.” And with that she followed Jason and Courtney down the stairs to have her first dinner with her new family.

Leah gets a disturbing phone call after Dinner
