Chapter 4

"Get off of me you sick freak." She yelled. "I don't want to have anything to do with you. Now get off of me."

"No," he yelled right back at her.

"Let go of her now AJ," Jason said sternly.

"And why should I do that," AJ sneered.

"Why AJ, because I said so."

"I have never listened to you golden boy. Why should I start now?"

"AJ just let her go."

"No. She is my girlfriend and I can hold her if I want to."

Courtney had been silent throughout all of this due to the shock of Jason rescuing her until she heard what AJ had just said. She yelled back "I am not your girlfriend. Now let go of me."

"No," AJ screamed.

"AJ, let her go now."

"You never answered why golden boy."

By now Jason was fed up and said "Let go of her because she is with me and you stay away from her. Got it." And with that Jason grabbed Courtney out of AJ's grasp and put his arm around her as he guided her to where Carly, Emily, Nikolas, and Sonny were sitting.

Before they got there Courtney stopped Jason from walking and said "Thank you for everything back there."

"No problem."

"Who is he anyway? You seemed to know him well."

"Unfortunately I do. He's my older brother and he's a creep. Also everything I said back there I will live up to." A smile grew on Courtney's face when she remembered what he said she was with him, until he continued. "He will never go near you again. I promise."

"Oh," Courtney said as her smile began to fade away. It didn't go unnoticed by Jason so he finished. "I also want the first part to happen, if you do too. Courtney will you be my girlfriend?

Courtney's smile reappeared immediately as she said "Yes," as she jumped into his arms and hugged him tightly as he did the same to her. As they pulled apart he said "I know we haven't known each other long, but it just feels right being with you."

"I feel the same way," Courtney barely got out as Jason's lips came crashing down on hers for a sweet kiss, their first kiss that will lead to many more. They pulled apart smiling as Jason took her hand in his and continued to guide them over to their friends.

Carly of course had witnessed the whole scene between Jason and Courtney and was so happy for them. Also she wanted to know all the details as usual. As Jason and Courtney approached them holding hands, Carly asked sweetly "What's going on guys?"

Courtney and Jason couldn't help, but smile as they said "We're dating!"

"Congrats! I knew you guys were perfect for each other the minute you met. Now we can go on dates together and we can all get married at the same time, and have kids that will grow up together and will be best friends and ...." Carly was interrupted when Sonny said " Carly hun, I think, no, I know you are getting way way too ahead of yourself. None of us are even out of high school yet and Jason and Courtney just started dating five minutes ago. So please don't scare them, ok."

"But," Carly started, but Sonny interrupted her again by saying "It's enough Carly." After that they all sat down just as the meeting began.

About three hours later the camp directors had finished the basic instructions for camp. What they can and can't do. The schedule of the day and other basic things to know for the upcoming summer. They had given everyone a five minute break before they were to get their groups for the summer. After all the groups were announced, everyone met with their unit heads. They either ended up with Unit K which is kids going into kindergarten, Unit 1 which is kids going into first grade, Unit 2 which is kids going into second grade, Unit 3 which is kids going into third grade, Unit 4 which is kids going into fourth grade, and Camp 56 which is kids going into fifth and sixth grade.. The counselors for the older grades had already been spoken to.

Carly and Sonny ended up with Unit 3. Courtney and Jason ended up with Unit 2. Nikolas and Emily ended up with Unit 1. They were all happy with their groups because they were in the same unit as their significant other and that AJ got Unit 4.

Throughout the summer Unit K and Unit 1 do a lot together, Unit 2 and Unit 3 do a lot together, and Unit 4 and Camp 56 do a lot together. They were all excited for the upcoming summer and that they weren't involved with AJ at all. After they met with their Unit heads the six friends met up in the parking lot.

"Hey," Carly, Courtney, Jason, and Sonny said to Nikolas and Emily when they came out.

"Hey," they said back.

"So anyone in the mood for a late lunch?" Sonny asked.

"What time is it?" Emily asked.

"Its 1:45," Jason answered.

"Already, I can't believe we were in their since 8:30 this morning," Carly said.

"Yea, I know, but I am starving so yes I would like to go to lunch," Courtney said.

"Good. What about everyone else?" Sonny asked.

"Yea," they answered in unison.

"So where do you want to go?" Nikolas asked.

"How about Kelly's?" Carly suggested.

"Sounds good," they answered in unison as they walked to the three cars they came in.

About ten minutes later a black BMW SUV, a black Mercedes SUV, and a black Lexus SUV pulled into the parking lot of Kelly's and parked adjacent to each other. The six friends got out of their cars and walked into Kelly's hand in hand with their significant others. They sat down at a table and Penny brought over menus so they could order.

While the friends were talking and having fun, AJ was watching them from the window with envy. He had followed them to Kelly's, especially to see Courtney. He hated that Jason got everything he wanted and he vowed to himself that he would end up with Courtney in the end instead of Jason.

The six friends had finished their lunch and had decided to go to Carly's for the rest of the day. AJ left the diner before he could be seen by them as they left.

When they arrived at Carly's, Bobbie was already at work. She turned the air conditioning on high to cool the house down while the rest of them chose a movie to watch. They decided on Pirates of the Caribbean. Carly put the DVD in and pressed play on the DVD player. She walked over to the couch Sonny was on and cuddled up next to him, while Jason and Courtney cuddled on the other couch, and Nikolas and Emily cuddled up close on the floor in front of the television.

As soon as Johnny Depp came on the screen Carly jumped up and said "OMG! He's so hot!" Courtney and Emily agreed and said "He so is, Carly!"

The guys all gave them looks that they were hurt and each earned a reassurance and a kiss on the cheek as they all cuddled up close again. They finished watching the movie and Carly asked "Anyone hungry?"

Everyone nodded their heads yes. "So, How does pizza sound?" She asked.

"That sounds good," Courtney answered and everyone agreed with her.

Carly ordered the pizza while the rest were conversing ans she soon joined in. The pizza arrived about twenty minutes later and the group went through the two pies in a flash. After dinner Jason asked Courtney to go on a walk with him and she agreed.

They walked hand in hand towards the park. Jason brought her to a perfect place where they could see the sunset. They sat down on the ground and Courtney leaned into Jason.

"Its so beautiful," Courtney said.

"Not as beautiful as you," Jason said to Courtney which made her blush a little.

Courtney turned around to look at Jason and said "Your so sweet" as her lips met his. "Thank you for taking me here," she whispered as they pulled apart.

"Your welcome," Jason said as he placed a kiss on the top of her head.

They sat in silence admiring the sunset. When it had finally gone down Jason asked "Are you in the mood for ice cream? There's a cart not far from here."

"That sounds great," Courtney said. "It's a perfect way to end the night and especially because its with you," she said as she took Jason's hand in hers which he took gladly and walked to get ice cream.

As Courtney said it was a perfect way to end the night and Jason couldn't agree more because he was with Courtney and that's all that mattered.
