Chapter 9

Jason opened the door to ph2 and looked inside,as he slowly made his way into thier,no,his home.He looked around slowly noticing all the things that mattered to him in his life and now everything he knew in his heart was gone.Walking up the stairs and to thier bedroom he sighed as he looked inside.He turned around and headed down the hall toward the guestroom,he couldn't sleep in the room that he and his wife shared and walked into the guest bedroom and sat on the bed,he sighed and laid his head down trying to make the previous nights events a dream.

Sonny and Carly sauntered into ph4 took a seat on the couch.Both in dazes neither heard Michael come down the steps and sit next to them.

"Mommy,daddy"Michael called pulling Sonny and Carly out of thier trance.Both looked at Michael.

Michael instantly knew something was wrong "Whats wrong?"he asked

"Umm...something tragic happened tonight,buddy"Carly said.

"Well what could have happened you and daddy are fine"Michael replied.

Carly looked back at Sonny who was staring intently off into space.

"No,its not us buddy,it's Aunt Courtney"Carly said

"Are Uncle Jason and Aunt Courtney alright?"Michael asked.

"Yea,buddy Uncle Jason is fine,but your Aunt Courtney wasn't so lucky"Carly whispered holding back her own tears but let them fall when she saw the tears come from Michaels eyes.

"Mommy what happened to Aunt Courtney?"Michael asked in a begging tone.

"She died,buddy"Carly whispered as she saw her sons face fall."Come here baby"Carly whispered pulling her son to her and hugging him,but Michael pulled away and ran up the stairs.

"Just leave me alone"Michael yelled.

"Michael"Carly called after him and stood to go after him when Sonny stopped her with his hand.

"Just let him go Carly,he needs sometime alone"Sonny told her.

Carly sat back down and nodded as she leaned into Sonny and he held her in his arms.

"Jason,Jason"Courtney called.

Jason opened is eyes and looked up,seeing his angel he sat up and went to hug her but she backed away.

"I don't understand"Jason said "Why are you backing away"

"I wanted to spend forever with you Jase,but we can't now"Courtney said

"Yes,we can.We can spend forever together"Jason said

"No, we can't"Courtney replied.

"Stop it,stop it.Yes we can"Jason yelled

"Jason you are alive"Courtney said

"I can find away to die we belong together"Jason said

" I wish thier was a way,but thier isn't.That beam took away any chances we had"Courtney said and started to fade away.

"No,baby"Jason screamed as she dissappeared completely.

"Jason,Jason,wake up"Robin whispered.

Jason sat up straight at the sound of her voice and looked toward her "What the hell do you want?"

"Just go off on your own Courtney,but If you die good,it's your own fault"Sonny yelled

" I will go on my own I don't need you Sonny"Courtney yelled back and dissappeared around the corner.

Sonny woke with a start,Carly stirred as well from Sonny's movement "Sonny,are you okay?"Carly asked worried.

"I hate the way things ended for me and Courtney"Sonny said.

"Jason,I was worried about you,I came to check on you"Robin said.

Jason jumped out of the bed and walked out of the guest room and downstairs taking a seat on the couch Robin followed and was about to sit next to Jason when he stopped her.

"No Robin,you can't help,my wife is dead god damn it,just leave me the hell alone,I dont need this or you right now.I juss need to be alone and not near you"Jason said as Robin stared at him and backed away toward the door.She took one last look at him before leaving.

(5 minutes later)

Knock on Door

"Go the hell away"Jason yelled

"Jason"Brian asked walking in.

"What the hell do you want?"Jason asked

"Umm...I thought you might want to talk,I thought maybe I could help you somehow"Brian said

Jason looked up at him "You wanted my wife for yourself,you were in love with her,so why the hell would you want to help me?"

"Your right I was in love with Courtney,but I thought maybe I could just be a friend to you, if you want"Brian proposed.

Jason just stared at him and saw that Brian genuinely cared about him,but he didn't know why.

Carly listened to the ringing of the phone waiting for someone to answer and looked back at Sonny,who was asleep.

"Hello"came the person on the other line.

"Hi,this is Carly Corinthos,I am calling relating to Courtney Morgan"Carly said

"Yes,ofcourse Mrs.Corinthos I'm sorry for you and your familys loss,but I understand Courtney had a husband,why are you caliing?"the man asked

"Courtney's husband is in no condition to take care of these things,I would like you to set up a time for calling hours and a time for a mass and funeral,cost is not a problem,what ever you want"Carly said

"It will be no problem,ma'am"the man said

"Okay,thanks.We all loved Courtney dearly and I think that the funeral will help us to move on and face reality and try to let go"Carly said.

"Yes,but we do not have a body it was burned in the fire,you do that right?"the man asked

"Yes,I know that thier are no remains of my sister-in-law.Oh and sir can you make it soon as possible,because as soon as the funeral occurs it will help us all to let go and move on"

Spoilers For Chapter 10
-Jason sorta gives Brian a chance.
-Robin isn't about to give up,no matter what it takes
-Liz finds out Ric planned to start the fire in the hotel in order to kill  
Zander,who he knew was in the cellar of the hotel.
-Carly finishes preperations for the funeral.
-The eve of Courtney's funeral arrives,emotions start to over flow and things really start to go haywire.
