Summary:The fire continues to rage on.Sonny and Courtney have a terrible fight and head off in different directions.While on her way up to the roof,Courtney stumbles across something she just can't walk away from.Jason realizes as he is kissing Carly,that he feels nothing for her anymore and Courtney is all that matters,him and Carly begin thier escape to the roof.Rescuers are around,but just not in the right place at the right time.Someone is lost in the debree and all the people around this person will suffer greatly.Death is a very heard thing to cope with especially when you blame yourself,however might this person find comfort in an unlikely person.Eventually things lose focus and the true motives of certain people come into view as a family is torn apart even more than they ever thought possible.So,come along and watch as a family is torn to pieces due to the death of a loved one,lies and betrayl,come watch as Tragedy Strikes a family in Port Charles.

Prologue

Jason pushes himself away from Carly."I'm not ready to die"

"Neither am I Jason,lets fight this damn fire"Carly told him.

"Whatever happens in the end,this wasn't supposed to happen,I love courtney"Jason said

"And as much as I don't want to admit it,I love Sonny"Carly said

"Then lets fight for our lives,I don't want to leave Courtney and you don't want to leave Sonny" Jason said

"Lets go"Carly said as she and Jasonmade thier way into the fire,they were gonna fight or die trying atleast.

Courtney walked down the halls coughing,her throat was burning,she felt like her throat was on fire.Maybe she should have stayed with Sonny,but she refused.Sonny thought he owned her and he in no way did,they were brother and sister,he wasn't her keeper and It made her so angry the way he tried to control her.She heard a faint voice in the distance and started running toward the noise.She pushed open the door and saw Brian on the floor,blodd surrounding his body.

"Oh my god,Brian"Courtney gasped as she rushed to his side.

"Courtney,forget me you need to get out while you still can"Brian told her.

"How bad is it?"Courtney asked

"Not bad it just grazed my leg,but pretty deeply and thats why thier is so much blood"Brian answered "Just forget me,you need to save yourself"

Courtney stood and ran into the bathroom "Courtney"Brian yelled "What are you doing,you need to get out of here,now"

Courtney came back out with some water and a cloth and some badages "I'm not leaving you, you wouldn't leave me Brian"Courtney applied the cloth with water on it to thw wound and Brian moaned in pain.She wrapped his legs up tightly,most of the bleeding had stopped.She helped his to his feet.

"Here put one arm around my neck,it's going to be okay"Courtney said

"Thank you"Brian said as he and Courtney walked out of the room and into the fire.

Sonny wandered the halls of the 10th floor,looking for a clear path,thier was ashes everywhere and he needed to head upstairs to the roof,he had been all over the hotel If Carly was still inside the hotel then she must have been dead,because he looked up and down for her,unless they just kept missing each other which was highly unlikely.He headed up the stairs and headed to the roof.

Ric and Elizabeth looked up at the burning Port Charles Hotel.

"When will the helicopters be able to land"Liz asked

"I don't know"Ric answered "All I know is Sonny,Carly,Jason,Courtney,Faith, and Lorenzo are all up thier,wouldn't it be something If we could lose them all in one blow"

"Ric,don't you dare,I know thier criminals,but how can you wish death upon people"Liz asked

"You are just worried about your precious Jason, as always"Ric said

"No,you know what.At first it was hard to get over the fact that Jason chose to compete with AJ for Courtney,but in the end they fell in love.Jason loves Courtney more than anything,he left Sonny for her.I know that I was never what Jason needed,no one was ever enough for him,until Courtney and at first I hated her for it,but she won and all power to her she got a great man.We're married though Ric and thats all that matters,I loved Jason then I love you now"Liz said

A lady stood in the backround as pain filled her heart as she heard Liz's words.

Liz felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to see someone she never expected to see.

The ground shook as another explosion hit up and even more of the hotel went into flames.

~Spoilers For Chapter 1~
-Courtney and Brian run into trouble.
-The fire continues to move rapidly in the hotel.
-Liz questions the mystery woman who tapped her on the  
shoulder.
-Jason and Carly bump into Sonny,but a falling beams sperates them,Sonny and Carly on one side and Jason on the other.Jason goes a certain way and Sonny and Carly go another way.
