Chapter 2

Panic Room

Courtney sat on her cot.She had just taken a long shower and felt really refreshed,but she wanted Jason so bad.The door to the panic room slid open and in walked Ric with a plate of food.The plate contained a piece of steak,mashed potatoes and brocolli with a glass of milk.

"Eat up"Ric said as he motioned Courtney to eat the food in her plate.

"Whats the paper and pen for,your will"Courtney asked

"Now why would I need a will"Ric smirked

"You will when Jason and Sonny find out what you have done"Courtney smirked back

"They never will find out"Ric said

"Think however you like Ric,I know my brother and husband.They will do anything to find the baby and I" Courtney replied

"Whatever,the paper is for you to write a letter to Jason"Ric said

"Your going to let me write a letter to Jason"Courtney asked

Ric nodded.

"I will read it to make sure you don't put anything incriminating in it"Ric said

"So what you want me to write that the baby and I are alright"Courtney asked.Ric nodded.

Ric then left.Courtney stared at the paper as she finished her dinner.

"Ric has her"Jason said angrily

"Jase,I agree but we don't know for sure"Sonny replied

"God Sonny,He raped Carly,kidnapped Courtney once before.All he wants is to hurt our family,what do you think he is doing?"Jason said

"Did you find anything?"Carly asked coming down the stairs.

"Nothing,but Carly don't worry,you worry about the baby"Sonny replied to a shocked Carly.

"My best friend and sister-in-law was kidnapped and you want me to worry about my baby who is just fine"Carly asked

"Yeah"Sonny answered

"Whatever,do you have any ideas?"Carly asked Jason

"Ric has her I know it,the question is where?"Jason replied

"Well find her Jase"Carly comforted

"What if she and the baby are laying on cold floor starving?"Jason asked tears falling from his eyelids.+

"Jase she isn't,think positive"Carly said

"How my wife and child are missing"Jason replied looking at Carly with begging eyes.

Carly embraced Jason who fell right into her arms.Carly released a few tears as did Sonny,he wanted his sister.Sonny walked over to Jason and Carly and put his hands on Jason's shoulders for some sort of comfort.

"It will be alright"Sonny soothed

Dear Jason,
I miss you so much! I am being held captive,I cannot tell you who,but I was allowed to write you a letter and tell you the baby and I were alright.My kidnapped gives me pleanty of food and a bed,my kidnapper doesn't want the baby or I hurt.Jason I am so scared,please find me.I will survive because I am a fighter and I love you so much.Tell Sonny,Carly and Michael I love them!I love you and will always keep the faith!

Courtney folded the letter and placed it in the envelope.The panic room door slid open.

"How was dinner?"Ric asked

"Fine"Courtney replied

"Lets see If I can send this?"Ric asked reading the letter.

"Isn't that sweet,I wonder how it is that such a sweet.innocent,pure girl like you could lover a cold-blooded killer?"Ric asked

"Well,how does Liz love rapist,kidnapper?"Courtney questioned

"Get some rest"Ric replied and left

"You didn't answer my question"Courtney screamed as Ric shut the door.

Liz quickly opened the front door and walked in her house,

"Whats wrong?"Liz asked Ric

"Why?"Ric asked

"I heard a scream"Liz said

"I had the tv on hun"Ric replied

"Oh"Liz said

"Mr.Morgan for you"Marco said as he handed Jason the envelope.

Jason shut his apartment door and tore at the envelope.

He read the letter and then raced across the hall to Sonny's.

"Sonny look"Jason said as he ran into PH 4.

"What Is It?"Both Sonny and Carly asked in unison

"It's letter from Courtney"Jason replied

Sonny and carly quickly read it.

"At least we know she's safe"Carly said

Sonny nodded in agreement

"I still don't know where the hell that scum bag Ric Lansing has my wife and child though"Jason said

Panic Room

Courtney sat on her cot staring at the roastbeef sandwich Ric had brought her.The panic room door slid open and In walked Ric.

"You ate the chips and drank the milk,but what about the sandwich,you and th baby need it"Ric said

"You don't know what my baby and I need,and I am allergic to roastbeef"Courtney replied

"Im sorry,I will get you something else"Ric said taking the plate and leaving the panic room.

"Mr.Morgan,you wanted to see me"Lorenzo questioned

"Yes"Jason replied

"Well,here I am"Lorenzo replied

"My wife and child have been kidnapped,Sonny and I are pretty sure It is Ric Lansing"Jason said

"Mr.Morgan,I offer my condolenses.I have no idea what happened to your wife or child,I do not want any trouble with you or Corinthos.I live by the rules,I don't involve families"Lorenzo replied

"Alright,but If you come across anything regarding my wife child,you will inform Sonny or I"Jason asked

"Ofcourse"Lorenzo replied

Ric re-entered with a turkey sandwich and another glass of milk

"This better"Ric asked as he placed the food in front of Courtney

Courtney nodded.Out of the corner of her eye Courtney saw on the monitor that Jason was picking the lock to Rics house.The door was still open because Liz was gone.

"You know Ric,do you think I could have some magazines or something I get lonely"Courtney asked

'Come on Jase"Courtney chanted in her head as he continued to pick the lock.

"I'll get right on that"Ric replied and then left.

Jason heard someone inside and quickly ran away,he couldn't afford to get caught he just needed to find his wife and child and for some reason he knew they were in the Lansing home.

"Hello"Liz said into her cell phone

"Mrs.Lansing"the man said

"Yes"Liz replied "Who is this?"

"Your husband Ric Lansing has kidnapped Courtney Morgan"the man said

"You lieing"Liz said

"Believe what you want,I know the truth"Max said into the phone and hung up.

"Plus I got the letter"Jason said

"Yep"Sonny replied

"Sonny where is my wife and child"Jason asked in a begging tone

"I am looking for Jason Morgan"the man said

"He is in his penthouse"Johnny said

"Thank you"the man replied

(Knock On Door)

Jason opened the door and came face to face with a man he had never seen before.

"Jason Morgan,I am Walker Laurence"the man replied and walked past Jason into his penthouse.

"Look,whatever you want make it fast,Im in the process of searching for-"Jason was cut off

"For your wife and child"Walker finished

"How do you know?"Jason asked

"I am federal agent,I want your help and in return I will put the best team I have in bureau to search for wife"Walker said

"What exactly do I have to do for your help In finding my wife?"Jason asked

"Come with me,the details will be explained"Walker said as he led Jason out of his penthouse.

Courtney laid on her cot and cried.She cried for her the safety of her child,she knew Jason would never let Ric get away with taking thier child,but with her hormones raging out of control,all she had to fo was worry.She also worried for herself,and Jason.She knew what this was doing to him,not knowing where you wife and child are must be torturing him.'I hope Carly and Sonny can help him through this'Courtney thought.She was brought from her thoughts when the door to the panic room door slid open.

"You alright?"Ric asked

"Why do you care?"Courtney questioned

"I brought you dinner,it's chicken,rice and spinach and some juice.I also brought you some of Liz' old magazines"Ric said

"Aren't you a saint"Courtney replied

"Why do you make this so difficult?"Ric asked

"Well,lets see.Im locked in a panic room all I see for civilization is you and Liz and that sure as hell ain't civilization it's just disgusting.Not to mention I miss my husband,my brother,my sister-in-law and my nephew.Plus my family misses me like crazy,and I feel awful about that"Courtney yelled

"Relax,It's not good for the baby"Ric said

"Don't you ever tell me whats good and not good for MY child"Courtney screamed

"You make this harder than it has to be"Ric said as he slid the door opened and left.

"No,your just a sick,twisted bastard"Courtney yelled after him.

"And who is married to a killer"Ric yelled back.

"Sweetie,who are you yelling at?"Liz questioned as she entered the house.

"Oh,it's just the Yankees,they lost to the red sox again"Ric said with a smile

"Oh"Liz laughed

"Alright,now what do you want me to do?"Jason asked

"We are going to give you a lady partner,she will have to move in with you and become your mistress.Wehave to make the hole world believe you have moved on"Walker said

"If we make everyone believe that you have lost hope in finding your wife and child and you believe there dead,then we will money and publicity for it which we need to keep the bureaus head above water,were close to collapsing and we need you"Walker said

"So,I pretend to move on"Jason said

Courtney peered at the montior.It made her sick how every lie Ric told Liz believed him with no question what so ever!Courtney felt the baby kick and tears escaped her eyes,she had been held up in this room for 4 days now and she thought being lokced up in Jason's penthouse was bad.Courtney believe Jason would find her no matter what Ric said.Courtney Morgan knew her husband,he was the greatest man alive and he would do anything to find her and the baby,because to Jason Morgan there was nothing at all more important than his wife and child.Courtney knew that!

"You eat all your dinner"Ric asked as he entered the panic room.

"Every last bite"Courtney mocked

"I really don't understand why you make this so difficult"Ric questioned

"And you wouldn't because your a twisted pshychopath,Ric"Courtney yelled

"Relax"Ric said

"I swear If you tell me to relax again I can't promise I wont flip out"Courtney screamed

Ric turned and walked out of the panic room.Courtney whipped the plate at his head but it missed an dhit the floor hard and shattered into a million pieces outside the panic room door.

"Ric,where did that plate come from?"Liz asked as she ran into the living room after hearing the porcelain plate shatter.

A tall woman walked into the room,she was brunette and had brown eyes.

"You have got to be kidding me?"Jason asked Walker

"No,Is thier a problem?"Walker questioned

"No"Jason whispered.He couldn't believe this,his wife and child was missing and he had to pretend to be in love with his ex who he hated more than anything.

"Well,Mr.Morgan you know what you have to do"Walker said

Jason nodded and walked out of he office,Robin followed behind him with a grin.

"Sonny has there been any new leads"Carly asked

"No,not at all,Jason dissappeared I have no clue where he went"Sonny replied as he took a sip of his brandy.

"Where would Jason have gone?"Carly asked

"I have no clue Carly,Jason's wife and child are missing who knows what the hell he is thinking"Sonny snapped

"Well excuse me"Carly snapped back

"I'm sorry,It's just I am worried about Courtney and the baby not to mention,Jason"Sonny said

"I know sweetie,but we have to stick together for Courtney,she wouldn't want our family to fall apart"Carly soothed as she took a seat next to her husband

"It's just If your were missing I know I would start to lose it like Jason is"Sonny said "I would do anything to get you back"

"Sonny,I know you would do anything to get the baby and I back If we dissappeared"Carly said

"The place got a makeover"Robin teased as she entered.

Jason walked into the kitchen and Robin walked upstairs.She walked to the end of the hallway and opened the door to the master bedroom.She walked over to the bed and looked down at the nightstand there was picture of Jason and Courtney in a pool,they were smiling she had never seen Jason so happy,it hurt her.She walked over to Courtney's bureau and opened up Courtney's jewelery box,it was filled with diamonds necklace,earings,and bracelets.She noticed a picture of Jason and Courtney next to the jewelery box and it was a picture of Sonny,Jason,Courtney,Carly and Michael,Courtney and Carly were both beginning to show and it caused Robin's heart to once again ache.Robin walked over to Jason's bureau and noticed a jewelery box with a card.She opened the card.

Dear Courtney,
Happy sixth month anniversary my love,I still can't believe your all mine.I still look back on that day when we first kissed outside of Colemans bar,it sent chills through my spine,and I knew right there and then it was forever.I didn't care that you were married to A.J. I knew with that one kiss we were meant to be.I love you so much!

She look at the date of the card,it was dated for yesterday July 7th.They must have gotten married on January 7th,Robin thought.Robin sighed as she put down the card and opened the small jewelery box.It was a beautiful diamond bracelet with saphire bure diamonds as well,it took Robins breath away.She closed the box and set it back on his bureau with the card.She walked over to Courtney's closet and opened the door.She ran her hands over the soft material of all Courtney's clothes.

"What the hell are you doing in here?"Jason asked in a furious tone.

"It's getting late,shouldn't you be asleep?"Ric asked as he slid the panic room door open.

"Well,when your trying to sleep on an uncomfortable cot,your pregnant so evey part of your body aches,and not to mention I am being held priosoner,its rough to sleep"Courtney said

"Are you trying to gult trip me?"Ric asked

"No,not me"Courtney mocked

"Okay then,sleep tight"Ric said as he left the panic room.

"You will be sorry Ric Lansing"Courtney whispered

"Jason I-"Robin started

"Don't ever come in here again,you have no right"Jason yelled

"Im sorry"Robin said

"I got to go meet someone,stay the hell out of this room"Jason said and walked down the stairs and out of the house.

Robin sighed

She walked out of the room and shut the door behind her.She was going to go down stairs and get her stuff and unpack,but instead her eye caught the door to the nursery slightly ajar.She cautiously opened the door slightly and stepped inside.The room was yellow with a teddy bear border.There was a crib and playpen.Thier was also a fancy changing table in the corner the room was absolutely beautiful.Shewalked over to the small closet and started skimming through the clothes.

Downstairs Carly opened the door.

"Jase"Carly whispered.She was afraid he might be asleep and she didn't want to wake him.She walked up the stairs and saw the door to the nursery opened and the light on.

"Jase,are you alright?"Carly asked as she slowly opened the door.

Carly peered around the room.She noticed the brunette woman slowly turn around to face her.

"What the hell are you doing in here?"Carly yelled

"Long time,no see"Robin smirked

"What are you doing in Jason and Courtney's home?"Carly yelled

"Correction,it is now Jason's home.His slut wife is dead"Robin said

"She is not"Carly yelled

"Carly"Jason yelled running up the stairs.

"Jason,tell me what the hell is going on?and tell Robin here never to say Courtney is dead again"Carly demanded

Jason just stared at her.

"Well Jason,tell her"Robin said

"Robin's going to be my mistress,I have moved on Courtney's dead"Jason said

Carly looked at Jason with wide eyes.Sonny walked up the stairs just in time to hear Jason's last statement.

"Whats going on?"Sonny asked

"He is already dishonoring your sister"Carly yelled

"Courtney's been missing 5 days and you have given up?"Sonny questioned angrily.

"No,I -"Jason started

"Save it Jason"Sonny yelled as he pulled Carly down the stairs with him.

"Courtney is not dead"Jason said after they left.

"What ever you say Jase,your in denial"Robin sneered

"My wife is not dead"Jason yelle"And stay the hell out of our childs nursery"

"Robin,get down here"Jason yelled

"What?"Robin questioned as she reached the last step of the stairs.

"What the hell is the picture of my wife and I on our wedding day doing in the trash?"Jason asked angrily

"Well,why do you need it?"Robin asked

"Look,Courtney is my wife,she is not dead and you will never take her place.Understood!"Jason yelled

"Jase,It's alright to be in denial"Robin said sympathetically.

"If you touch one more thing of Courtney and I's you will be sorry"Jason yelled as he exited the penthouse and slammed the door behind him..

Courtney looked around the room.She had to find away to escape.She had been in this place 7 days and that was long enough.She wanted to see her husband.She wanted to see her brother and sister-in-law,who had become her best friend,not to mention her nephew Michael.Courtney looked at the monitors,she saw Liz enter with a bag.'What could she be up too?'Courtney asked herself.Courtney watched as Liz took a seat on the couch and opened the bag.She took out the package and Courtney gasped."A Pregnancy test"Courtney whispered.She then saw Liz go into the back of the house and waited her eyes were stuck to the monitor.About 5minutes later,Liz returned to the living room.Courtney couldn't tell whether she was or wasn't pregnant,so she continued to watch.Finally,Ric came home and Liz jumped into his arms.

"Guess what?"Liz said exitedly

"What?"Ric questioned

"I am PREGNANT"Liz screamed

Ric looked at Liz shocked.

"Aren't you happy?"Liz asked

"Ofcourse,you should go and get some rest now"Ric recomended

"Okay"Liz replied and dissappeared

Ric slid the door to the panic room door open.He saw Courtney laying on her cot.

"So when do i get to go free?"Courtney questioned

"How about never"Ric replied

"What?"Courtney asked shocked "You don't need me,your having your own baby Ric"

"I don't want my own baby,I want yours"Ric replied

"You really are sick"Courtney said

"No,It's just well lets say,my baby is no good,but yours and Jason's that baby is gold"Ric sneered

"You can have my baby,over my dead body"Courtney spat back

"Don't worry your pretty little head about my baby inside you" Ric said "It will have a good home with Liz and I"

"Over my dead body"Courtney said

"That can be arranged"Ric threatened.He then slid the door to the panic room open and walked out,but then slid it close right behind him.

"Sonny where are you?"Carly asked as she entered her penthouse

"I was in the kitchen with Jason getting a drink"Sonny replied walking out from the kitchen with Jason following him.

"Has thier been anything on Courtney?"Carly asked

"Nothing"Sonny replied

"Well,I guess ever since Michael learned to read he always read the newspaper now at my moms and he read the article about Jason loving someone else and us moving on and basically forgetting she was ever alive.He was really upset,I made him understand that it was fake,just something to help us find Aunt Courtney and he said that he understood"Carly said

"Are you sure he is alright"Sonny asked

Carly nodded

"I got to get home,I have some stuff to take care of"Jason said as he quickly left PH 4.

Jason was on the phone about 20 minutes after leaving Sonny and Carly's when thier was a knock on the door.

Knock On Door

Jason opened the door to find Michael standing there.

"Hey buddy,something wrong?"Jason asked as he ushered Michael inside.

Robin was approaching the top of the stairs when she heard Jason and Michael talking,she stopped dead in her tracks and listened.

"That article,you don't believe Aunt Courtney is dead do you?"Jason asked with begging eyes.

"Ofcourse not"Jason replied

"Then why would you make the whole world believe you have lost hope"Michael asked

"It's a lie,hopefully It will lead us right to her"Jason said

"Promise"Michael begged

"Michael,Aunt Courtney is my wife and I love her more than anything in this world.We are going to find her and she will be fine and then in November you will have a new baby brother or sister and a new baby cousin"Jason said tears forming in his eyes.

Michael smiled and hugged Jason "I love you Uncle Jason"Michael said as he left.

Jason looked up at the ceiling.

"God,please help me,don't make a liar out of me"Jason begged

"I really don't understand why you would put false hope into that little boys head"Robin said as she walked down the stairs.

"I'm not putting false hope into his head"Jason shot back

"You know Jase,we were in love once,what happened?"Robin asked

"You turned into a selfish b*tch,who i couldn't stand and still can't stand"Jason said

"Isn't that harsh"Robin said

"You stop saying my wife and child are dead,then I will do my share too and be nice and civil" Jason said

"Well, I don't like to lie Jase,I am sorry,but your ice princess of a wife is dead"Robin said

"I have had enough,do you not get it.You stop bad mouthing my wife in her own home and just leave me the hell alone unless I won't to talk to you and I don't see that happening in the near future" Jason said losing his temper.

"Where are you going?"Carly asked her husband

"I have to go meet someone"Sonny replied

"I think while your gone I will go and speak to miss homewrecker over there"Carly said

"Okay"Carly said as she watched her husband leave and then proceeded over to penthouse 2.

Knock On Door

"Come in"Robin said from the couch

"Why hello Robin"Carly said as she entered and took a seat next to Robin on the couch.

"So how is life treating you?"Carly asked

"Carly,It's no secret,I hate you and you hate me.So what do you want?"Robin asked

"To tell you that you never will replace Courtney,even If she does turn up dead,which she won't" Carly said.

"Whatever,you know Jason has the same false hope as you and don't you worry I will erase Jason's memeories of his slutty wife and give him what he wants and thats me" Robin taunted.

"Jason would never want you no matter what,and it's not false hope Courtney is alive and when she comes home you will see for yourself"Carly spat

"Whatever"Robin replied

"Oh and I would like to see you try and erase Jason's memories with Courtney,it will never happen. Jason loves his wife and unborn child more than anything and he will never forget them,do you hear me"Carly yelled

"Oh give it a rest Carly.I am surprised you even like this wife of his,I never thought you would like any girl that got involved with Jason because you were still pinig over him" Robin sneered

"I will always love Jason,but Sonny is my soulmate.I dind't like you or that twit Liz Webber because you were both sluts and not right for Jason,but Courtney is.Courtney is Jason's soulmate and as soon as we find her,you will see with your own eyes.I can just picture the reunion.Jason sees Courtney and runs to her,picks her up and swings her around.They exchange I love you's and then go to Dr.Meadows office for a check-up and find out the baby is healthy and everything will be fine except for the fact that you will be jealous because Jason is in love with his wife and thier having a baby and the fact that Jason despises you"Carly taunted

Courtnet hid in the corner by the door,object in hand.She was breathing heavily as she was frightened to death,but she had to do this,she had to.The panic room door slid open and in walked Ric.He tensed as he saw Courtney nowhere in sight.Courtney snuck p behind him and brought the object to his head,knocking him to the ground.Courtney quickly found the phone and looked at the spped dial.She saw Carly Corinthos Cell Phone and figured Ric had put it on his speed dial when he was Carly's attorney for the club.She pressed the button and her the phone dial.It rang.

"Pick up Carly"Courtney screamed

"Hello,Carly Corinthos"Carly said into her phone.

"Carly,It's Courtney"Courtney said into the phone out of breath

"Courtney,Oh my god,sweetie where are you?"Carly yelled into her cell

"Ric took me"Courtney screamed into the phone before ric covered her mouth and dragged her back into the panic room.

"Courtney,where,where did iic take you?Courtney?"Carly screamed into the phone but It had been gone.

Carly quickly dialed Jason's cell phone.

"Morgan"Jason said into his cell

"Jason"Carly said into the phone

"Carly,whats wrong?"Jason asked

"Courtney called,She said Ric took her and then the line went dead"Carly said

"You talked to her"Jason said

"Yes,but only for a second,she called my cell"Carly said

"Okay"Jason said as he hung up.

"Courtney called Carly's cell and they talked for a split second and Courtney said Ric took her,but then the line went dead before Carly could find out where" Jason said

"We have a visit to pay to Ric Lansing,my scum bag of a brother"Sonny said as he and Jason headed toward Rics.

"Yeah,whatever"Robin replied angrily,she really wanted this b*tch dead.

"One thing Robin,you never underestimate Courtney Morgan,she is a woman who loves her husband and unborn child more than aything and for that she will forever fight"Carly seethed

"Think what you want,everyone breaks,even Sonny and Jason"Robin sneered

"Your wrong,you see Courtney will fight and never give up,neither will Jason,Sonny or I"Carly said

"Ric Lansing,he is Sonny's half-brother,but not Courtney's.He kidnapped Courtney before and threw her down in a mineshaft,If it wasn't for Jason she would have died.He also,well he raped me" Carly choked out.

"I had no idea,I'm sorry"Robin said sternly but with some compassion.

"Ric Lansing has put my family through hell,and wehn Courtney is returned,I don't care If he didn't harm a hair on her head,I will kill that bastard myself,I will beat Sonny and Jason to it"Carly seethed.

"That was stupid you know"Ric yelled

"Well,what do you want,I am being held hostage"Courtney said

"You never could make this easy,could you"Ric asked

"You know what,it's mid July,my baby isn't due until November.You really think you can hold Sonny and Jason off that long"Courtney laughed

"Ofcourse"Ric said

"Think again"Courtney spat

Courtney peered at the monitor.

"Get ready for a beaten,Carly called Sonny and Jason and they are on thier way"Courtney taunted

"Believe what you want"Ric said

"Thier outside Ric"Courtney said pointing to the monitor.

"Damn it"Ric said as he slid the panic room door open and then shut.

Ric walked to the door and opened it.Sonny and Jason sure did look angry.

"Okay where is she?"Jason asked pushign him and Sonny into the house.

"I don't have Courtney"Ric said

"Courtney called Carly,said you took her,Michael saw you take her from Kelly's that night.You eithe return my wife or I am going to the police with this evidence"Jason threatened

"What evidence could you possibly have against an innocent man?"Liz asked as she walked into her home.

"Still believing all his lies,Liz?"Jason asked

"He is not lieing,he doesn't have Carly,who knows who does"Liz said

"Courtney called Liz,she said Ric had her and before she could say where someone grabbed her and the line went dead,isn't that proof enough"Jason yelled

"Courtney called and said Ric took her,thats impossible"LIz said

"We have proof of the phone call,Ric where is she?"Jason yelled

Jasons cell rings

"Morgan"Jason says into his phone.

"Jase,It's Robin.Carly and I had a fight and I think she laid on to much pressure,she is having contractions and I think she is going into premature labor"Robin said into the phone.

"Damn it.Alright hold on"Jason said as he hung up.

"Guess who got in a fight at the penthouse,anyway Carly's going into premature labor,we got to go,but Ric this isn't over"Jason said

"Dear god If my baby is hurt because of Robin,Jason I'll kill her"Sonny said
