"Have you been having any luck?"Jason asked Sonny.

"No,there is no trace of her or where Alcazar is holding her and he hasn't returned my calls"Sonny answered

"Great,when are we going to find her Sonny"Jason yelled

"Soon Jase,I know your scared but we can't afford for you to lose your head"Sonny said

"I know,I know.It's just why can't they take me,why do they have to take her"Jason said

"Don't wish kidnapping on yourself,Courtney will return home safely"Sonny soothed

"What if your wrong Sonny?What if Courtney and the baby are already dead?"Jason taunted

Lorenzo quietly opened the door to Courtney's cabin.It was almost midnight and he figured she would be sleeping.He walked in silently and sat in the chair.She laid so peacefully and it brought a smile to his lips.Thier had never been a girl to make him feel this way before,not even Sophia.

"Yeah,Sonny you keep saying that 'she will return home safetly' but when"Jason yelled

"Jase,you are not helping Courtney by losing your head,I need you to help me find her"Sonny said

"So are you sure it's Alcazar?"Jason questioned

"Pretty sure,I have been calling all day,but he hasn't returned my phone call yet"Sonny told him.

"Why hasn't he,if he wants to make a deal wouldn't he contact you"Jason asked

"I thought so,but maybe he is trying to make us sweat a little bit,because he knows then we will be more vulnerable"Sonny said

"Maybe"Jason agreed

Yacht

Courtney stirred silently and opened her eyes.She sat up quickly when she noticed Lorenzo asleep in the chair next to her.This sudden action caused Lorenzo to stir.

"Courtney are you alright?"Lorenzo asked worriedly.

"No,I am not"Courtney responded "What the hell are you doing in here?"

"I just fell asleep looking at you"Lorenzo said with a smile.

"Lorenzo,thats really creepy"Courtney told him.

"Sorry,I didn't mean to creep you out"Lorenzo appoligized

"It's okay"Courtney said with a weak smile.

"Can I get you some breakfast?"Lorenzo asked her.

"Yeah,that would be great"Courtney responded

"Okay,well I will go place an order at the galley and then I have to tend to a few business calls,but then I will serve you breakfast"Lorenzo said

"Okay,thanks"Courtney answered as Lorenzo left.

Outside The Cabin

Lorenzo stood outside Courtney's door and sighed.'How could this be happening'

His cell phone rang.

"Alcazar"Lorenzo said into the phone.

"It's Sonny,you have my sister"Sonny said

"Thats correct"Lorenzo answered

"Well go ahead already.I will give you anything.Even transportation through me docks"Sonny told him.

Lorenzo sighed "Thats very generous Mr.Corinthos,but I don't want that"

"Well,what do you want then?"Sonny demanded "I'll give you anything"

"I just want Courtney.No trade is possible,not for anything"

Chapter 23

PH 4

"What the hell do you mean?"Sonny yelled

"I mean nothing is more important to me than your beautiful sister"Lorenzo taunted

"You stay the hell away from her"Sonny ordered

"Corinthos she is in my care and I'll do as I please with the woman I love"Lorenzo said

"With the woman you what?"Sonny yelled

"You heard me"Lorenzo said and clicked off his cell phone and smirked.The smirk dissappeared as a thought came to his head 'Oh my god I am in love with Jason Morgan's wife'

"Alcazar,Alcazar"Sonny called into the phone but got no answer.He slammed the phone down. "dammit"he yelled.

"What did he say,Sonny?"Jason asked

Sonny looked at Jason.His eyes were puffy he hadn't slept in nights.How was he supposed to tell him that Alcazar refused to trade Courtney for anything because he loved her and wanted her for keeps."Jason, Alcazar doesn't want anything from us"

"What do you mean?We have to trade something,anything to get my wife back"Jason demanded

"Jase,you don't get it"Sonny said

"Dammit Sonny,don't get what?"Jason yelled

"Lorenzo doesn't want a deal because he doesn't want to give Courtney up"Sonny said

Jason's breathe became ragged.He couldn't breathe."What do you mean?"

"Lorenzo has fallen in love with Courtney and now he wants to keep her forever"Sonny told him.

"Well,he can't"Jason yelled.He was now barely breathing as he raced out of PH 4 and down the stairs to the garage.He hopped on his bike and took off 'This wasn't happening'

Lorenzo walked into Courtney's room and smiled at the sight before him.Courtney was resting peacefully on her back with her arm drapped protectively around her stomach.He set down the tray that had eggs,sausage and fruit on it with some apple and orange juice.At the noise Courtney woke up and walked over and sat across the table from Lorenzo and looked at the plate of food.

"Thanks,it looks good"Courtney told him.

"Your welcome"Lorenzo answered "I spoke with your brother"

Courtney's head popped up "Did you speak to Jason?"

"No,but Sonny wants to make a trade for you"Lorenzo said

"So then when am I going home"Courtney asked

"Never"Lorenzo said "I won't trade Sonny anything,nothing is more valuble then you and your love"

Yacht

Courtney stared dumbfoundly at Lorenzo.She was in pure shock. He was just messing with her mind, right. Courtney didn't know what to say,she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"I don't love you Lorenzo"Courtney said finally speaking up.

"I don't expect you too"Lorenzo smirked "Yet"

"No,Lorenzo never.I will never love you,I love Jason"Courtney said "I will always love Jason"

"Well you will just have to get over him,your mine now and I mean forever"Lorenzo told her with a serious face.

"You would never do that"Courtney said "Why would you hurt me?"

"I wouldn't be hurting you,I would be keeping you safe.Think about it we can live on the yacht out here together and get married. Plus the baby won't be born for two months,so you will be safest here"Lorenzo said getting excited.

"Lorenzo,I am married already and I won't marry you,not ever"Courtney said

"Courtney don't you think it's best that the mother and father of our baby are married"Lorenzo asked.

"You are not my baby's father"Courtney said getting angry "Jason is"

"Maybe by DNA,but we will be one happy family.You,me and our little baby"Lorenzo said

"No way"Courtney answered

Jason sat on a bench.He felt so alone.He missed Courtney so much,she had only been back for one week and she was gone again. How could he let this happen,how could he not keep his wife and child safe.

"Jase"Sonny asked

Jason turned around and peered into the eyes of his best friend.

"Jason,please this isn't your fault.Stop blaming yourself"Sonny said resting a hand on his shoulder.

"Twice,Sonny,twice I let my pregnant wife just slip through my fingers"Jason said ashamed.

"Jason,she loves you.She chose this world when she chose you.Right now she is praying that you have the strenghth to bring her home"Sonny said

"What can I do Lorenzo refuses to trade for her"Jason said

"Thats why we are flying out to South America tonight,were going to bring home your wife and baby" Sonny told him.

Knock On Door

Lorenzo and Courtney were in a staring contest.Lorenzo's heart was breaking because this woman in front of him hated him.Courtney was issueing pure hatred for the man in front her.Lorenzo stood and walked over to the door and opened it.

"This is what you asked for Senor Alcazar"the guard said handing him a large item.

"Thank you"Lorenzo said as he shut the door and turned to Courtney with the object.

"I hope you like this bassinett.I saw it in a magazine and I could picture you rocking our baby to sleep in it"

Courtney stared at Lorenzo relunctant to say anything.He was really scaring her.She walked over to the bassinett and carried it to the balcony deck and tossed it over.

"I will never put my baby in that and you need to get a grip on reality buddy"Courtney said

"Courtney,I know what I want"Lorenzo told her "And I always get what I want"

"Well,not this time"Courtney said "Oww"

"We will be arriving at Alcazars compound in five hours"Sonny told a pacing Jason "Sit down"

Jason obeyed and took a seat "Why are we going to his compound?"

"Well,I'll pay them to give me information,they have to know where he has Courtney"Sonny said

"Maybe"Jason said

"Were going to bring Courtney home,Jase.I promise you"Sonny said

Carly sat on the couch and twidled her fingers.Michael was with bobbie for the weekend,Sonny and Jason were gone to bring Courtney home and Carly was left to worry.Scenarios played out in Carly's head.She was afraid Alcazar may have hurt Courtney or that she lost the baby or even that Sonny and Jason would be gunned down by a guard.She had to stop thinking that way.She knew that Sonny and Jason had always been careful.She trusted her husband and best friend to return safetly with her sister-in-law and unborn niece or nephew.She heard noise coming from the hallway and walked to the door and opened it.

"What the hell are you doing here now?"Carly asked in anger.

"I want to see Jason"Robin said

"Well tough luck because Jason is gone to rescue Courtney"Carly told her.

"Oh is that so.Is little wifey getting lost in the fog of the mob lifestyle"Robin taunted.

"No,she was once again kidnapped,but don't get any ideas she is returning home with Jason soon and you will become even more out of the picture than you are now"Carly taunted with a smirk.

Robin scoffed as Carly turned and proudly walked back into her penthouse victory written all over her face.
