Prologue:

PH 2

I thought it hurt to get shot or to be stabbed,but I was wrong.When I look bakc on my times with that angel of mine named Courtney,I thank god.I thank him for bringing along such a perfect angel,who would love me for the cold-blooded killer I was.When I was with her though,I wasn't,I was the protector and thats who she fell in love with.She fell in love with the man who guarded her and protected her,she didn't fall in love with a cold-blooded killer,as Sonny would say.That didn't matter though,right now I would rather have one last perfect day with my angel,then spend the rest of my life without her,but that can't happen.Soony would never allow it,listen to me I act like I am 17 and Sonny is my father.No matter what though it is for the best,it has to be!

The Loft

What do I have to live for?The one man I will ever be able to give my heart to used me for god knows what.It doesn't matter though,for some reason deep down I feel that he really does love me and care for me and I can't shake it.I try to move on and find another fish in the sea as Sonny puts it,but it is no use my heart will always beat to the rythm of Jason's.I mean sure maybe I could go away to college and then maybe some hurt might go away,but the love won't,not now,not ever.I could date 50 college men that are studying to be doctors and not fall for one of them because my heart will always belong to Jason.I can dream of him here with me,but the pain is only worse when I wake up to find him nowhere insight and the memory of our painful break-up still fresh in my mind.Maybe I should try to move on and let Sonny win,but why.My own brother hurt me to no end and he could care less,he thinks I'm safe without Jason well he is stupid,because If anything I am more vulnerable without Jason by my side.Some nights I lay awake in bed and wonder maybe I should get involved with someone, like Faith,or Lorenzo Alcazar,Or any enemy and try to destroy Sonny's life like he did to me his own sister,but then I decided against it.Jason is my only chance at the future with happiness.I long for one more day with Jason by my side,giving me sweet kisses and making my dreams come true,but mostly I long for the future I have with Jason and our future together.

Authors Note:I hope I didn't confuse any of you with the prologue.I just wanted to get the feelings of Jason and Courtney out so you would sort of know how they feel and what they are thinking.Now that I have gotten the feeling out,I want to focus on my story plot.Thanx for the feedback~!~Chloe

Chapter 1

Kelly's

Courtney queitly rushed around Kelly's,it was 8:00pm and she had wanted to make sure all her tables were clean before she left.Penny was the waitress to close up at 10:00pm tonight.Courtney finished wiping down her tables and placed all the dirty dishes into the sink.

"I guess I will see you later,Penny"Courtney said as she placed her thin jean jacket over her white tank top.

"Goodnight"Penny replied

Courtney wasn't paying attention when she left and crashed right into Jason.

"Excuse me,I wasn't looking where I was going"Courtney apoligized looking at Jason.

"Thats alright,don't worry about"Jason replied as he looked into her blue eyes.

"See ya"Courtney replied walking off.Jason shook it off and entered Kelly's,he took a seat at a nearby table.

Courtney was walking when her mouth was covered and she was dragged into the alley behind Kelly's.

"Just don't move or scream"the man ordered

Courtney froze,she was scared to death.The man through her to the ground,Courtney hit her head so hard on the cement she could barely see who her attacker was,but she could see enough and she knew who it was.He straddled her and yanked her pants down and then did his.He penetrated her hard as his hand stayed on her mouth so she couldn't scream.She winced in pain as the man continued to rape her.He finally pulled himself up and pulled his pants up,but left hers down.He started to strike her hard,he violently beat her until she lay lifeless in the alley.

The man walked to the end of the alley and into Jason Morgan.

"Excuse me Jason"the man said

"What are you doing in alley ways at 8:00pm at night"Jason asked

"I had some business to tend to"the man said as he brushed past Jason and headed away from Kelly's.Something wasn't right and Jason could feel it in his blood.He ran down the alley with a feeling someone or something needed him.He stopped dead in his tracks when he came across Courtney's lifeless body,he no longer could breathe.

He quickly ran to her side and pulled her into his arms as he let a few tears fall.

"Oh Courtney,can you hear me baby"Jason said in a begging tone.

"Courtney please"Jason begged

He got no response though he took in the scene before him.Courtney's pants were down and her clothes tattered,she had cuts and bruises forming everywhere and Jason knew in an instinct what had happened.

"Courtney can you hear me"Jason yelled

Courtney opened her eyes,she looked up at Jason,but her vision was still blury from the beaten.

"Oh thank god"Jason whispered as he placed a sweet kiss on her forehead.

"Relax,your going to be alright"Jason soothed

"Help me,please"Courtney begged before her eyes fluttered shut and she fell back into the black hole.

"Oh don't worry baby,you will be fine"Jason said

"That bastard won't get away with this,not while I draw breath.I vow revenge on Ric Lansing"Jason said full of fury!

I know it was kind of short,but the other chapters will be longer,I promise.I guess I want to see what I get for feedback before I really get into the storyline.Anyway,I'm sure you get the idea!Lemme know~!~
