Summary: AJ has left town after granting Courtney the divorce she wanted. The chemistry between Jason and Courtney is growing Sonny is absolutely against Jason and Courtney’s growing crush.

He saw her waiting tables through the window at Kelly’s. It was a gloomy night as it had just stopped raining. He loved the smell of the rain. Mixed with the sight of her it brought him back to that night outside of Coleman’s place. He had a flashback of that night and all he could see was her taking his face in her gentle soft hands. He concentrated more closely and he could feel her warmth & taste her lips. They were sweet, it was a strong memory that he just could not shake. He thought of it often. There was something about the way she looked with water running down her face and with her hair soaking wet.

He quickly snapped out of it when he heard a familiar voice calling out his name. “Jason, Jason, Hello earth to Jason?” It was a voice that soaked through him straight to his heart. Which was pounding very fast now. He couldn’t help but smile as he turned to look at her. “Hey” he replied softly. “What are you thinking about that has you so happy?” she said. Thinking how much she loved to see him smile.

“Who me? Nothing. It’s nothing.” He knew she saw right through him. How could he hide it? It was the happiest he had ever been. “You can’t fib to me Jason. Tell me what is on your mind. Is it Liz? Did you talk to her?” He stopped smiling and thought to himself `if only she knew.

“No it’s not Elizabeth. I told you I’m not interested in Elizabeth. We’ve been over for a long time.” She had to hold back from smiling as those words were like heaven to her ears. The truth was is that she didn’t want Jason with anyone. Not anyone but her at least. But not that she would admit that out loud.

“Well come in and have a cup of coffee. My shift is over in ten minutes. Hey maybe we could go catch a bite to eat at Luke’s or.”

”SURE” he couldn’t even wait for her to finish her sentence.

“Ok then I don’t think Bobby will mind if I leave now, I have no more tables and everything is clean. Wait for me here while I go grab my coat.” She quickly ran inside and Bobby couldn’t help but notice the glow on Courtney’s face. Not to mention that smile from ear to ear. “Bobby I’m gonna go if that’s ok with you.”

“No problem at all. Do you have a date?” She slyly nudged her head towards the window where she saw Jason looking in at Courtney with a smile. Courtney looked over to the window and her and Jason made eye contact. Her eyes lit up again and that infamous smile followed. She looked back at Bobby.

“No it’s not a date me and Jason are just friends.” Bobby just nodded and gave her a look. Courtney knew the look. It was the same look Carly gave her when they discussed Jason. “Thanks Bobby. I will see you tomorrow.”

She exited Kelly’s to find Jason waiting patiently. “You ready?” he said.

“Yeah but do you mind if we stop by my place so I can change out of these stinky clothes?” Courtney said looking at him with those eyes. How could he say no to those eyes.

“Sure” he said not even thinking twice.

They entered the apartment. It was a familiar place. They had spent so much time there together when Courtney was being stalked. “I’m going to take a quick shower. Is that ok?”

“Sure I’ll wait out here.” he said with a laugh. He was serious though. God how he would love to join her in the shower to wash every inch of her naked body. ~Stop it~ he thought to himself.

“Ok then I’ll be right back.”

He waited patiently on the couch for her as he slowly rubbed the top of Rosie’s head. He could hear her getting ready in the other room now. And his mind couldn’t help but wonder. He pictured her in just her pink bra and her lacy panties. He could feel himself getting hotter at just the thought. He couldn’t help but to slip back into a daydream about kissing her. “So what do you think?” She came out of the room with a beautiful red dress on.

“WOW” His mind was racing yet that was the only thing he could seem to get out of his mouth.

“I guess I’ll take that as a compliment, thanks” He gathered his thoughts as he moved closer to her, it was an instinct that he couldn’t help.

“No I’m sorry you look great.” he said. It felt awkward now as he just wanted to pick her up and take her into the bedroom and kiss her wildly. There was a stillness in the room as they stared into each others deep blue eyes.

“So are you ready to go?” she said quickly trying to break the awkward silence.

He anxiously said “lets go.”

They could hear the music outside of Luke’s as they walked up to the door. Jason quickly ran in front of Courtney so he could get the door for her. “Thanks she said shyly” as she looked down and smiled.

“No problem” Jason said as they walked through the door. Both quickly stopped in there tracks as they saw Sonny and Carly sitting at a table. Carly caught a sight and started grinning. They both just wanted to turn around and go somewhere else, but it was to late for that. Carly was already standing up approaching them. She ran over to Jason and gave him a big hug. She gave Courtney a big smile

“What are you guys doing here? Is this a date? How come no one told me about this?”

“Enough Carly” He said to her with a serious look on his face. She knew he meant it.

“Do you guys want to join us? Turning to the table where Sonny was sitting. They all looked at Sonny the blank look on his face was turning to redness.
