Summary: Sequel to Family. Five years after Family

ends. Meg is nine and Dirk is five. Michael is

sixteen, he just got his license and Morgan is ten.

Courtney sees something that triggered nightmares. Now

that someone’s after their family again she believes

that her nightmares are coming true. What triggered

her nightmares and can Jason calm her fears and

protect his family?

Chapter 1 The Nightmares

Jason stepped off the elevator of the Harbor View

Towers. He’d been gone for a week and a half on

business. He was so glad to be home with his family.

He walked to his penthouse and opened the door. He saw

Meg and Dirk in their pajamas watching television on

the couch.

Meg turned her head and saw her daddy, “Daddy.” She

screamed and her and Dirk jumped off the couch and ran

to Jason.

He scooped them up in his arms and hugged them

tightly. “Oh I missed you guys so much.” He kissed

them both and hugged them again.

“We missed you too daddy.” Meg said holding on to him

tightly.

Jason put them down and knelt down in from of them.

“How’s my big guy doing?”

“Daddy I lost a tooth while you were gone.” Dirk said

and opened his mouth to showed Jason which one.

“Whoa when did that happen?” he said looking into his

mouth.

“Two days ago, I had an apple for breakfast and it

came out.” He explained. “I put it under my pillow and

the tooth fairy gave me five dollars.”

“Cool,” he said and turned to face Meg.

“And how’s my pumpkin doing?” He asked.

“Michael is teaching me how to ride a bike.” She said.

“Cool,” he said, “Where’s your mommy.” He asked the

two.

“Auntie Carly’s upstairs checking on her.” Meg

explained pointing to the stairs.

“Why? What’s wrong with mommy?” Jason asked with a

concerned face.

Dirk shrugged and ran back to the couch and hopped up.

Jason turned to his daughter, “Do you know what’s

wrong with mommy?” he asked.

“She hasn’t been sleeping lately. She wakes up

screaming and when I come in she’d be crying.” She

explained.

“Okay, why don’t you take your brother upstairs and

help him get ready for bed and brush you’re teeth.

I’ll be there in a minute to read you a story and tuck

you in, okay?” he said.

“Okay daddy,” she said and turned around, “Come on

Dirk let’s get ready for bed.” She said holding out

her hand.

“Okay, sis” he said and jumped off the couch and took

her hand. Meg led Dirk up the stairs.

Jason watched as they retreated up the stairs and

smiled. “Such a good big sister” he said to himself.

He took off his leather jacket and threw it over the

back of the couch and headed up the stairs.

He walked to his room and opened it a little and

peaked in. He saw Carly sitting next to Courtney who

was lying on the bed on her stomach and Carly was

rubbing her back. “Carly…” Jason whispered.

Carly looked up and saw Jason standing in the doorway.

She got up from the bed slowly, making sure not to

wake Courtney up and walked out of the room into the

hallway where Jason was standing and gave him a hug.

“Hey what’s going on? Meg said you were up here

checking on her and that she hasn’t been sleeping.” He

questioned.

“Yeah she’s not doing too good,”

“Is she sick?” he asked concerned.

“No she’s not sick. She’s been having nightmares and

it’s just been draining her.” She explained looking

back in to see Courtney stirring around in the bed.

“Jase, she’s told me about some of these dreams and

they’re awful…”

All of a sudden they heard a scream and they ran back

in the room. Courtney was moving around on the bed

mumbling and screaming. “No…don’t…please…ahhhh.” She

cried, “No…leave them alone. Jason…Jason help.

Don’t…touch me”

Jason went to her side and softly shook her awake,

“Courtney…Courtney baby wake up.” Courtney sat up

abruptly.

“NO,” she screamed. She was gasping for air. She

looked around and saw Jason beside her, “Jason?” Tears

streamed down her face as she went into his arms and

cried.

“It’s okay…it was just a dream. You’re safe.” He

whispered in her ear. She didn’t say anything. She

just cried in his chest and she was starting to shake

uncontrollably.

“Daddy what’s wrong with mommy?” Meg asked standing in

the door way with Dirk.

Jason turned his head and saw Meg and Dirk. Then he

turned to Carly. She nodded and turned around, “Come

on guys let’s go across the hall and have Uncle Sonny

fix you a snack before you have to go to bed.” Carly

took their hands and started to lead them downstairs.

Meg looked up at Carly, “Aunt Carly is mommy all

right?” she asked.

“Your mommy had a bad dream and it scared her,

sweetie,” she explained as they walked out of their

penthouse and into Carly’s.

Back upstairs, Jason was holding Courtney. She calmed

down a little but she was still shaking and he could

still feel her tears falling on his chest. He went to

pull back a little but she tightened her grip, “No

please, not yet please just hold me.”

“Okay, okay shhh.” He said and held onto her tighter.

He rocked her back and forth and rubbed her back,

trying to get her to stop shaking. “Baby, it’s okay.

It was just a dream. Nothing’s going to happen to

you.” He tried again to get her to stop shaking.

“They just seem so real, Jason.” She said in between

sobs.

“I know, baby, I know. Why didn’t you tell me about

these dreams when I called?” he asked still holding

her. She calmed down and stopped shaking but she still

had tears running down her face and onto Jason’s

shirt.

“I just wanted to forget about them and wished they’d

go away.” She said,” but they didn’t. I’d wake up

screaming and reach for you and you weren’t there.”

She explained. Jason felt her shudder at the memory

and he tightened his grip on her.

“I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you.” He said feeling

bad. “Maybe if you’d talk about them it would help? Do

you know what triggered them?” he asked pulling away

and looking in her eyes.

“No, not yet please. I just want to lie down, have you

hold me, and try to forget. Just for tonight.” She

said burying her face in his chest again.

“Okay, okay.” He said.

He took his shoes and shirt off and climbed in next to

her. She went into his arms and he wrapped them around

her. He looked down at her and she looked up into his

gorgeous blue eyes.

He surveyed her face. She was so pale and she looked

so tired. “I missed you so much.” He said kissing her

forehead.

“I missed you too.” She said snuggling up close.

“Jason, there’s something I need to tell you. It’s

what triggered the nightmares but I can’t tell you

now. I just wanted to tell you so you didn’t think

that I was hiding something from you.”

“It’s okay you’re tired. Just rest. You don’t have

tell me until you’re ready.” He said rubbing her back

again.

“Thank you. I love you so much.” She said.

“I love you, too. Everything’s going to be fine.

Whatever it is we’ll get through it together.” He

said. He leaned down and kissed her. She laid her head

back down on his chest and soon fell asleep.

Across the hall in Sonny and Carly’s penthouse, Meg

and Dirk were eating their snack on the couch while

Sonny and Carly were sitting at the table talking.

“I think that we should keep Meg and Dirk over here

for tonight and tomorrow we’ll call Nikolas and Emily

and see if they can keep them for a few nights.” Carly

said.

“Yeah that might be a good idea. Courtney’s been

having a really hard time with these dreams and maybe

she needs a little break from everything.” He replied,

“Do you know what triggered them?” He asked worry

evident in his voice for his sister.

“No but they started four days ago. Oh…” she said

“What?”

“The day they started, I was at Kelley’s with my mom

and Courtney ran in out of breath and she was bleeding

really bad, she had a cut on her arm. I asked her what

was wrong but she said nothing. I asked her how she

got the cut on her arm and she said that she must have

got it when she tripped over one of Dirk’s toys this

morning. I knew she was lying but I left it alone. How

could I forget something like that?” she said

frustrated with herself.

“Oh my God, well Jason’s home now and whatever

happened, Courtney will tell him and he’ll fix it and

don’t think that you could have prevented this. Even

if she told you she still would have had nightmares,”

he said, trying to reassure that everything was going

to be all right and that it wasn’t her fault.

“Well I’m going to get them to bed.” Carly said and

got up from the table and led the kids upstairs.

Sonny walked over to the wet bar and poured himself a

drink. He walked over and stared out the window.

“Please let her be okay. She has husband and two kids

that needs her.”

Chapter 2 The Trigger

Jason was lying in the bed watching Courtney sleep. He

looked over at the clock. 5:32. He’d been up with

Courtney all night. She’d wake up screaming and

calling for him and he’d hold her until she’d cry

herself back to sleep. He looked back at her. He just

wished he could just take away her pain.

He was brought out of his thoughts when Courtney

started to stir again. “Oh God not again.” He thought

to himself. “Just give her a few hours of sleep that’s

all I ask.” He said to himself.

“No…leave me and my family alone. Jason…Jason help

me.” She started to call his name.

“Courtney…Courtney it’s okay. It’s okay” she sat up

straight screaming his name. He did the same thing as

before. He held her a while, until she cried herself

to sleep.

Courtney woke up and looked around. She saw Jason

sitting on the side of the bed with his head in his

hands. She scooted over behind him and wrapped his

arms around him and laid her head against his back. He

moved his arms and covered hers with them.

They sat there for a minute before she started to

talk. “I’m sorry,” she said in a whisper Jason could

barely hear.

He turned around and pulled her on his lap. She

wrapped his arms around his neck and rested her head

on his shoulder, “Why are you sorry?” he asked running

his hands in her hair and up and down her back.

“For keeping you up last night.”

“Look at me,” he said putting his hand under her chin

and tilting her head up so she was looking in his

eyes, “you have nothing to be sorry for.” He said. He

sweetly kissed her lips and wrapped his arms around

her.

She looked over his shoulder at the clock. 8:30. She

lifted her head off his shoulder, “I have to get Meg

up for school.” She said and went to get off his lap

but he stopped her.

“Carly came over this morning, she said that she’d

take care Meg to school so we could have some time

alone.” He said. “She said that Nikolas and Emily were

going to take them for a few nights.”

“Yeah that’s a good idea. I really need you right now

and I don’t think I could give them the attention they

need.” She said lying her head back down on his

shoulder.

He could tell she felt guilty for it and he tightened

his grip on her, “Everything’s going to work out

okay…I promise.” He lifted her off of his lap and

said, “Come on let’s get something to eat.” He held

out his hand and she took it and they walked down the

stairs.

Sonny was sitting on the couch reading the paper,

Carly just left to walk Michael, Morgan, and Meg down

to the car that was waiting to take them to school. He

put the paper down and looked up when he heard Dirk

come down the stairs.

Dirk walked up to the couch, “Good Morning, Uncle

Sonny.” He said and climbed up in his lap and gave him

a hug.

“Morning buddy. You hungry? You want some breakfast?”

he asked and Dirk nodded. Sonny went to get up but

stopped when he heard Dirk speak again.

“Uncle Sonny why are me and Meg sleeping over here?”

he asked.

‘Well buddy your mommy’s having bad dreams and they’re

scaring her so your daddy’s going to take care of her.

So we’re going to help them out by taking care of you

for a little while. Then Uncle Nikolas and Aunt Emily

are going to take you to their house for a few days.”

He explained.

“Okay Uncle Sonny I understand.” He said.

“Good man, why don’t you go upstairs and get dressed

and I’ll make you some pancakes?” Dirk’s eyes lit up

and he hopped off the bed and ran up the stairs.

“Careful on the stairs” he said and he heard Dirk say

yes and slow down

Jason and Courtney were eating breakfast. “Jason”

“Yeah, baby?”

“I need to tell you what happened what triggered these

dreams.” She said.

Her hands started to shake and Jason took them in his

and rubbed his thumbs over her knuckles. “You don’t

need to tell me right now. You can wait if you want

to.” He said

“Jason I need to tell you so I can deal with it and

get my life back,” she said tears starting to fall

from her face.

“Okay, come here.” Jason held out his hand and

Courtney walked around the table and sat in his lap.

“It happened four days ago.” She started, “I was

walking back from the store when I heard a girl

scream. I looked down the alley and saw this guy. He

was attacking her. He had a knife on her.” She started

to shake and Jason tightened his grip around her,

“He-he um…he” she stammered to get the words out.

“It’s okay take you time” Jason said running his hand

through her hair.

She took a deep breath and continued, “He was rapping

her. I knew it was probably stupid but I started down

the alley and yelled for him to stop. He looked up and

saw me. I tried to stop him but he-he stabbed her in

the stomach and he swung the knife around and got my

arm…” she was crying really bad and was still shaking.

She lifted up the sleeve of her shirt and showed Jason

her arm that was bandaged up. “…I had to get thirteen

stitches,” she said.

“Oh my God, baby…” He said.

“Wait, Jason if I don’t finish this now I won’t be

able to.” She said. He nodded and she continued. “He

swung the knife around and got my arm. Then he grabbed

me and pinned me against the building and held the

knife to my throat. I guess he knew who I was because

he said if I told any one that…that he would do the

same to me and Meg and that he’d hurt Dirk too.” She

cried and buried her head in Jason’s chest and he held

her tight. “He let me go and I ran to Kelley’s. Carly

asked what happened when she saw the blood and I told

her that I tripped over one of Dirk’s toys. I know

that I should have told someone but I was too scared

and I just wanted to forget about it. Later I snuck

out and went to GH, got stitches, and I never told

anyone until now.” she finished, crying. Her eyes were

red and puffy.

“It’s okay Courtney. Whoever this guy is he won’t come

near you I promise.” He hesitated for a minute.

Courtney saw that he was going to say something and

then stopped. “What were you going to say?” she asked.

“Well do you want to talk about the dreams? We don’t

have to if you don’t want to.” He asked.

“No, I mean yeah I want to talk about them but I’m

just really tired. I just want to take a nap.”

“Okay” Jason said and picked her up and brought her

into the living room and sat down on the couch and

held her in her lap. She rested her head on his

shoulder and he rested his head on top of hers. They

both fell asleep like that.

Carly came in and could smell Sonny cooking in the

kitchen, “Sonny?”

“Hey,” he replied.

“I’m going to go over and get some of Meg and Dirk’s

stuff for Nikolas.” He said.

“Okay.” He said.

Carly kissed him on the cheek and left the penthouse

and over to penthouse 2. She walked in without

knocking and saw Jason and Courtney asleep on the

couch. She decided to come back later and tiptoed out.

She walked back over to her penthouse and saw Sonny

giving Dirk a plate of pancakes who was sitting at the

table almost drooling.

“I thought you were going across the hall.” He said

turning when he heard the door shut.

“I did they were sleeping. I thought I would just go

back later.” She said, “Yay pancake,” she said also

drooling and sat down at the table.

Sonny shook his head and walked over and put his

jacket on. “I have to meet Dirk at the warehouse. Try

not to get drool all over the table.” He said earning

a playful smack on the chest from Carly. He laughed

and kissed her then he left.

“So who wants ice cream,” she said and Dirk’s ice lit

up and pushed the pancakes away. “That’s what I

though. Just like you’re Aunt Carly,” she said and got

up from the table to get the ice cream”

Few minutes later she came back with a carton of ice

cream and two spoons. They started to eat the ice

cream and Dirk made Carly laugh with his famous jokes

and impressions of his daddy, Uncle Sonny, Uncle

Nikolas, Uncle AJ and Uncle Dirk. He was pretty good

too.

A little while later there was a knock on the door.

Carly quickly hid the empty carton of ice cream and

opened the door. “Nikolas, hey thanks for coming and

taking the kids for a few days.

Dirk saw his Uncle Nikolas and jumped from the couch.

Nikolas was about to replied to Carly when Dirk ran up

and jumped into his arms, “Uncle Nikolas,” he yelled.

“Wow, hey there big guy, you’re getting big.” He said

lifting Dirk up.

“Uncle Nikolas guess what I did yesterday with Uncle

AJ and Ned,” he said.

“What did you do?” he asked.

“We played football and we’re going to play again next

time I visit.” He said.

“Cool.”

“Monica said she’ll pick Meg up and dropped her off at

your house.” Carly explained.

“Okay,” he said.

“Ready to go?” he asked Dirk.

“Yup,” he said taking the bag from Carly and they

left.

Port Charles Hotel. Julian Brozelli was looking over

paper work when his partner came in. He walked over

and sat down in a chair.

“So how are we going to get the territory we need?” he

asked Julian.

“Well James you’ll find out.” He replied, “I need you

to get me this drug.” `he said handing James a piece

of paper. “It’ll take a while to find it it’s really

rare.”

“Why do we need this?” he asked looking from the piece

of paper then back up at Julian.

“You’ll know soon enough. This is the way we are going

to get Sonny Corinthos’ territory.” He said with an

evil grin on his face.

“And find this guy. He’s local he’ll help with

Corinthos and Morgan.”

“How do you know he’ll help?” James asked.

“Well because he hates Corinthos and he’ll do anything

to destroy him.” He said.

Chapter 3 The Plan

A week later, Courtney and Jason talked about her

nightmares and they happened less and less until they

stopped completely and every thing got back to normal.

Jason was waiting downstairs for Courtney. They were

meeting Sonny, Carly, Dirk and his girlfriend, Mandy,

at The Cellar. “Courtney are you almost ready, Sonny

and Carly are waiting for us.”

“Yeah, I’m almost ready.” She said looking at herself

in the mirror. She was wearing a red halter-top dress

stopped just above her knees. She had very little

make-up on but she still looked gorgeous.

The babysitter walked in with Meg and Dirk, “Hey,

we’re back from your parent’s Mr. Morgan,” she said.

“Come here guys,” Jason said kneeling down and Meg and

Dirk ran into his arms.

“You have a good time a grandma and grandpa’s,”

“Guess what I did with Uncle AJ and Ned.” Dirk asked.

“What?”

“We played football again.”

“Cool, and what did you do?

“Grandma showed me the gardens and then we had a tea

party with grandpa, grandpa Edward and grandma Lila.

“Wow, all those people.” He said.

“Yup,”

“Well me and your mommy are going out for a while. You

two be good for Amy okay?” he told them.

“Okay daddy,” they both said.

“And you better be asleep when we get home.” He added,

“Now give me a kiss,” he said. Meg and Dirk kissed

they daddy and Amy took them upstairs to their

playroom before they went to the park. Jason stood up

and sat down on the couch to wait for Courtney to

finish getting ready.

Julian was waiting at the docks for him to show up. He

turned around when heard footsteps and saw the guy who

he was waiting for…Ric.

“Well aren’t we a bit late,” Julian said.

“What do you want?” Ric asked.

“Well I want your help.” He replied.

“Help with what?” he asked.

“To bring down Corinthos and Morgan and me take over

his territory.”

“You got my attention what do you want me to do.”

“Well go to Harbor View Towers and call me when Mr.

and Mrs. Morgan leave. Then go find their daughter and

tell her to tell her daddy this,” he said handing a

piece of paper with Spanish on it.

“I don’t speak Spanish what does it say?” Ric asked

looking from the paper to Julian.

“That you don’t need to know. Just say what’s on the

paper. Good-bye Mr. Lansing he said and walked off the

docks.

Jason looked at his watch; “Courtney come on…” he

started to say but looked up and saw her come down the

stairs. His breath got caught in his throat.

She got to the bottom of the stairs, “How do I look.”

She said twirling around.

He walked to her and wrapped his arms around her and

looked into her eyes, “You look gorgeous.” He said

kissing her passionately.

He kissed for a long time until they had to pull away.

“You know we don’t have to go if you want. We can stay

here and find something else to do,” he said with a

mischievous grin on his face and started to kiss her

again. He slid his hands down the exposed skin of her

back and in her dress. He rubbed his hand up and down

her back. She moaned into his kiss and wrapped her

hands around his neck.

Reluctantly she pulled away and looked at him, “We

have you to go we promised Dirk that we’d meet his

girlfriend.” She said.

“I don’t think I can stand to see you in that dress

and not be able to touch you. We can meet her another

time,” he said pulling her close to him.

“How about I make a deal with you” she said rubbing

her hand up his chest, “We go for a half an hour, meet

Mandy, and we can come home, okay?” She said.

“Oh come on…”he said.

She reached up and pulled him into another passionate

kiss and pulled away, “I’ll make it worth you while,”

she said with a grin.

“Then we better get going. The sooner we get there the

sooner we can leave,” he said pulling her to the door.

She giggled and they walked out of the penthouse hand

in hand.

Ric was waiting outside of Harbor View Towers. He

spotted Jason and Courtney come out and get into a

limo. Then the limo drove away. He took out his cell

phone and dialed.

“Julian,” he heard on the other side of the line.

“Hey, it’s me they just left.” He said.

“Okay,” Julian said and hung up. Ric hung up his phone

and headed to the Cellar.

Julian hung up and dialed a number. “Hello,” James

said.

“They’re on their way to the club now. Make sure you

get in and out without any one seeing you.” He said in

the phone.

“Okay Julian,” James said and hung up the phone.

Julian hung up the phone. He stood up and walked over

to the window and looked out over the harbor. “This

plan is going to work I know it is and I’ll take over

Corinthos’ territory.”

Jason and Courtney walked down the stairs and looked

around. They spotted Sonny, Carly, Dirk and Mandy

sitting at a table across the room and they walked

over.

“Hey guys.” Carly said spotted them when they walked

up to the table.

“Hey” they replied and hugged Carly when she got up

from the table.

“Hey guys,” Dirk said, “I want you to meet some one.

Mandy this is Courtney and Jason.” He said and Mandy

stood up and shook their hands. “Guys this is Mandy,

my fiancé.” He finished with a huge smile on his face.

Courtney and Carly both squealed and gave Dirk a hug.

Then they hugged Mandy.

Sonny stood up from his seat, “Congratulations man” he

said shaking Dirk’s hand.

“Yeah congratulations” Jason said and shook his hand

also. After Courtney and Carly stopped smothering

Mandy. Jason and Sonny gave her a hug and said,

“Welcome to the family.

After they all exchanged their congratulations to the

groom and bride to be, everyone sat down at the table.

Jason sat down and Courtney sat in his lap.

Few minutes later, “Ever heard of a chair,” they heard

an annoying voice from behind them. They turned around

and saw Scotty.

“What do you want now Scotty?” Sonny asked in an

annoyed tone.

“Well first I’d like your hired hit man and your

sister to stop groping each other in public, some

people are trying to have a good time. Second I’d like

to put you away for the rest of your lives.” He said.

Courtney rolled her eyes, turning her head in the

opposite direction. Jason could feel her tense up.

“Scott why don’t you leave us alone.” He said.

“Just remember there’s a fine line between public

affection and public indecency.”

He said glaring at the couple.

Mandy could feel the tension between the two men and

got up from her seat. “Well if you’re going to arrest

them you’re going to have to arrest us too,” she said

sitting on Dirk’s lap. Dirk smiled and wrapped his

arms around her.

Carly followed her lead, “Yeah” she said sitting down

on Sonny’s lap and Sonny did the same things.

Scott looked between the three couples and walked away

mumbling. All six of them started laughing and the

girls stayed sitting on their lover’s laps.

After talking with Mandy the girls loved her. They

found another friend that they can hang out with and

they were ecstatic.

”Do you want another drink?” Jason turned and asked

Courtney.

“Yeah I’ll go with you. Excuse us,” Courtney said and

stood up from his lap and they walked over to the bar.

“Can I get a beer and…” he said to the bartender,

“What do you want?” he turned and asked Courtney.

“Champaign” she said

“A beer and Champaign please.”

“Yes sir” the bartender said.

Jason turns back to Courtney and smiled. “I’m glad

that we came and met Mandy but can we leave, now?” he

said pulling her tightly against him running his hands

in her hair and up and down her back.

“Just a few more minutes. I really like her.” She said

wrapping her arms around her neck.

“But…” he started to say something but she pulled him

into a kiss. He leaned back against the bar with his

elbows on top and she stood in between his legs.

The bartender came up to give them their drinks but

saw them kissing and didn’t want to interrupt. So he

set the glasses behind Jason and walked away to

another customer.

Jason and Courtney were so into their kiss they didn’t

see the guy come up and around the counter. He opened

a vile of blue liquid and poured it into the Champaign

and ran off.

Jason and Courtney finally pulled away. “Where in the

hell are those drinks?” he asked turning around. He

saw the drinks behind them on the counter, “Oh guess

he didn’t want to interrupt us.” He said smiling at

her, “Remind me to tip him before we leave,” Courtney

laughed and he grabbed the drinks, handed Courtney

hers, and took her hand. They walked back to the table

and sat down exactly the way they were before.

About fifteen minutes later, Jason asked Courtney to

dance. He led her to the dance floor and wrapped his

arms around her hips and she wrapped her arms his neck

and rested her head on his chest.

The song ended and Jason pulled away and looked at

her. She looked pale and she was sweating slightly.

“Hey you okay?” he asked putting his hand on her

forehead like he did with Meg and Dirk whenever he

thought they had a fever, “You’re burning up,” he said

bring his hand and resting it on the side of her face.

“Yeah I just don’t feel good all of a sudden. My head

is killing me and my stomach hurts really badly. Can

we go home?”

“Yeah,” he said walking her back to the table with his

arm around her. “Guys we’re going to go. Courtney

isn’t feeling good.”

Carly and Mandy stood up and hugged Courtney good-bye.

“Hope you feel better, Courtney” Mandy said sitting

back down. They exchanged byes and left.

Jason helped Courtney into the limo and got in. He

scooted over and wrapped his arms around her.

Courtney could barely keep her head up, so she rested

it on his chest. Jason saw this and tightened his

grip. He was really worried.

They pulled up in front of Harbor View Towers. Jason

got out first and helped Courtney out. She walked in

front of Jason and he had one hand on her hip and

another holding her hand.

She suddenly stopped and fell back into his arms. He

picked her up and carried her inside and brought her

upstairs. He came out of the elevator and saw Marco.

“Marco can you open the door for me?” he asked.

“Yes sir. Is everything all right,” he said walking

over and opening the door.

“I don’t know yet Marco.” He said. He brought her to

the couch and laid her down. He ran into the kitchen

and got a wet towel. He brought it back and rubbed it

over her head. He felt her pulse and it was beating

really fast. “Just be ready to go to the hospital if

we need to.”

“Yes sir” he said and left.

Jason sat down next to Courtney and felt her head; it

was still burning up. He tried to wake her up.

“Courtney…Courtney, baby, open your eyes.” He said.

After a few minutes, Courtney moaned and opened her

eyes but shut them quickly, “Jason?” she said holding

her hand out.

“I’m right here, Courtney,” he said taking her hand in

his.

“Turn the lights off please they’re hurting my eyes,”

she said.

“Okay hold on,” he said getting up and turning off the

lights. He walked back over to the couch and took her

hand again.

“Tell me what hurts, Courtney.” He said.

“My head and my stomach.” She said.

“Do you want to go to the hospital?” he asked, running

his hand over the side of her face.

“No, not yet I just want to sleep.” She replied.

“Okay,” he said and picked her up and brought her

upstairs to her room. He laid her on the bed and

pulled the covers over her. “I’ll be right back. I’m

just going to tell Amy that we’re back.” He said. She

nodded and he kissed her forehead. She was still warn

and clammy.

Jason got up and walked out of the room, down the hall

and into Amy’s room where she stayed when she had to

baby-sit.

Jason knocked on the door. “Come in.” Amy said. She

was sitting in a chair reading.

“Hey Amy we’re home.” He said.

“Hey Mr. Morgan I thought you’d be home a little

later.” She said standing up.

“Yeah well Courtney doesn’t feel very good so we came

home early.”

“Oh, well Meg and Dirk are asleep but some thing

happened today at the park.” She said.

“What happened,” he asked.

“I was sitting on the bench watching Dirk play with

his friend, Tori and when I looked up I saw Meg

talking to some guy. I got her away from him and he

said he sends his regards and that he’ll speak to you

soon.”

“Do you have any idea who he was?” he asked.

“No, Mr. Morgan I’ve never seen him before.” She

replied.

“Thanks Amy” he said.

“Good night Mr. Morgan. Tell Mrs. Morgan I hope she

feels better.” She said picking up her stuff and

leaving.

“Thanks Amy good night.”

He walked down the hall to Dirk’s room. He opened the

door and poked his head in. He was fast asleep. He

shot the door quietly and walked across the hall to

Meg’s room. He opened the door and saw that’s she was

awake.

“Hey pumpkin why aren’t you asleep?” he asked walking

into her room and sat down on the bed beside her.

“I waited up for you daddy,” she said and climbed into

her daddy’s lap.

“Hey, Amy said there was a guy talking to you in the

park?” he said leaning up against the headboard.

“Yeah, he said he knew you,” she said playing with her

daddy’s wedding ring.

“What else did he say pumpkin?” he asked.

“Well he said I was beautiful like my mommy and then

he told me to tell you something is Spanish.”

“Do you remember what it was?” he asked.

“Yes, he said, “yu poder ser semejante Dios conj

ninguno mejor frem malo.” She finished.

“Okay baby listen. It you see this man again. Don’t go

anywhere near him, just tell me okay.”

“Okay daddy,” she said.

Jason slid Meg off his lap. “Good night pumpkin.” He

said kissing her forehead.

“Night daddy.”

He walked out of the room and went to shut the door

but remembered that she was afraid of the dark and

left the door open. He walked down the hall and into

the room. He got under the covers and pulled Courtney

into his arms. He stayed up a while watching her

sleep. She was shaking slightly, probably from the

fever he thought. He went to sleep a while later.

Chapter 4 What’s Wrong With My Wife?

Jason woke up the next morning with Courtney still

asleep in his arms. He felt her forehead; she still

had a fever and still shaking a little. He slid out

from under her careful not to wake her, got dressed

and walked downstairs. Thank God it’s Saturday he

thought.

He came downstairs and saw Meg and Dirk awake, sitting

on the couch eating cereal and watching cartoons.

“Hey guys when did you get up?” he said walking over

and giving them both kissing and sitting in between

them. They both climbed up in their lap.

“We got up a little while ago,” Meg, explained, “I

came in yours to wake you up but then I remembered it

was Saturday so I got Dirk’s breakfast and sat down to

watch cartoons.” She finished.

“You’re a good big sister,” he said, kissing her

forehead. “I need to go talk to Uncle Sonny, do you

want me to see if Michael can come over and play with

you for a while?” he asked, all ready knowing the

answer.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Meg and Dirk said at the same

time, getting off his lap and jumping up and down on

the couch.

“All right, all right,” he said calming them down.

“I’ll go get him. Give me a hug.” He said standing up.

Meg and Dirk stood up on the couch and gave him a hug

and sat down. Jason walked out of the penthouse and

across the hall.

He walked in and saw Michael and Sonny sitting at the

table. “Hey Uncle Jason,” Michael said getting up and

he gave him a hug.

“Hey buddy. I got to talk to your dad. Could you go

watch Meg and Dirk, Courtney’s still asleep and she’s

not feeling good.

“Okay,” he said. He drank the rest of his juice and

grabbed a piece of toast and walked out.

“Hey what’s up?” Sonny asked.

“Yesterday when we were at the club. Amy took Meg and

Dirk to the park and she saw a guy talking to Meg,” he

replied.

“What did he say?”

“He told her to tell me something in Spanish but I

don’t speak Spanish so I don’t know what I means.”

“Does she remember what he said?”

“Yeah, she told me last night.”

“Okay why don’t we go over there and find out what she

said.” Sonny said getting up and walking across the

hall with Jason.

They walked into the penthouse to see Meg and Dirk pig

pile Michael. “Uncle Jason help” he got out before he

got a foot in his mouth. Sonny and Jason were laughing

so hard. “They’re double teaming me.” he said when he

got the foot out of his mouth.

“Sorry Michael I can’t help you but I’ll give you a

hint,” Jason said, “Where are they ticklish the most.”

Michael smiled and grabbed the back of their knees and

started tickling them. They started to laugh

hysterically and Michael flipped them off of him and

on to the couch. He continued to tickle him. “Mikey,

stop please.” He heard Meg say in between giggles and

he stopped.

When everyone calmed down from laughing Jason said,

“Michael can you take Dirk up to the playroom we need

to talk to Meg.”

“Okay,” he said and picked Dirk up and flung him over

his shoulder. Dirk squealed and giggled all the way

upstairs.

Sonny and Jason sat down on either side of Meg, “Did I

do something wrong?” she asked in a sad face.

“No, pumpkin not at all,” he said tucking a piece of

her hair behind her ear. She smiled at him; “I just

need you to tell Uncle Sonny what the guy in the park

said yesterday in the park.” He explained.

“He said,” she said, sticking her tongue out trying to

think, “Yu poder ser semejante Dios conj ninguno mejor

frem malo.”

“Is that all?” Sonny asked.

“Yup,” she said.

“Okay sweetheart go on up and play with Michael and

Dirk.” Sonny said.

“Okay,” Meg said giving them both a hug and running up

the stairs.

“No running on the stairs,” Jason yelled.

“Sorry daddy,” she said and slowed down and

disappeared around the corner.

When Meg was upstairs Jason turned to Sonny, “Do you

know what it means?” he asked.

“Whoever it was doesn’t know how to speak Spanish very

good but I do know what it means. He said, "you shall

be like God and no better from evil.”

“Do you know who could have said it?” Jason asked.

“No I don’t. I’ll get Dirk on it see if he can find

out anything.”

“Okay.”

“How’s Courtney feeling?” Sonny asked.

“Not so good, she went to sleep as soon as we got home

around 8:15 and she’s still asleep.”

“It’s almost 2:00.”

“Yeah,” he said looking at the stairs.

“Are you going to take her to the hospital?” Sonny

asked.

“I’m going to wait till she wakes up, see what she

wants to do. It could just be the flu.” He replied and

Sonny nodded.

“I’m going to go call Dirk.” Sonny said standing up.

“Send Michael over around 4:30 he has a baseball

game.”

“Okay see ya,” And Sonny left. Jason leaned his head

back and rested it on the back of the couch and fell

asleep.

Sonny walked in and saw Morgan playing with his trucks

and Carly on the couch. “Hey Sonny, were you over next

door?”

“Yeah,” he replied.

“Is Courtney feeling any better.”

“No she isn’t. Jason starting to get worried,” he

said, “I’m going to make some soup and bring it over

to her but I have to make a call first.”

“Yeah soups a good idea,” she said and watched Sonny

take out his cell phone and walk into the kitchen.

He dialed Dirk’s number and heard, “Hello,”

“Hey, man. I need you to look into something for me.”

“Okay, what do you need?” he asked.

“Meg was approached yesterday,” he said.

“Is she okay?” he asked with worry in his voice.

“Yeah, the guy told her to tell Jason something in

Spanish,” he explained.

“What did he say?” he asked.

“He said, “you shall be like god and no better from

evil,” you have any idea who said this,”

“I have a few. I’ll check into it.”

“Thanks man.”

“How’s Courtney feeling?” Dirk asked.

“She still is feeling bad. Jason’s said he might bring

her to the hospital.” He explained.

“Well tell me if he does okay?”

“Sure, bye”

“Bye,” Dirk said and hung up. Sonny made the soup and

brought I next door he saw Jason asleep and set it on

the coffee table and left.

Jason woke up to Courtney calling for him. He quickly

stood up and went upstairs to their room. “Jason…”

“I’m right here Courtney,” he said walking over to the

bed and taking her hand.

“What time is it?” she asked keeping her eyes closed.

“It’s almost 4:00. How are you feeling?” he asked.

“Really bad.” She said.

“Okay come on, I’m going to bring you to the

hospital.”

“Okay,” she said.

“Stay here for a minute, I’m going to call Nikolas and

have him pick the kids up.” Courtney nodded and pulled

the covers over her head.

Jason went into the playroom where Michael, Meg, and

Dirk were playing. “Michael can you get them ready to

go I need to call Nikolas and have him pick them up.

I’m going to bring Courtney to the hospital and get

her checked out.”

“Why don’t I call Nikolas and bring them there.”

“How are you going to bring the there?” he asked

confused.

“I got my license, remember?”

“Oh I keep forgetting. Wait, what about you baseball

game?” he said.

“I’ll call Couch Cross he’ll understand if I’m a

little late.” He replied

“Thanks Michael,” he said.

“No problem Uncle Jason.” He said and Jason left the

room and got Courtney, “Come on guys lets get ready

I’m going to drop you off at Uncle Nikolas and Aunt

Emily’s house.”

“Yay,” they said jumping up and down.

“Okay, okay. Get dressed and I’ll be right back.”

Michael went downstairs and saw Jason helping Courtney

out the door, “Hope you feel better Aunt Courtney,”

Michael said.

“Thanks Michael,” she said and they left.

Michael walked over to the phone and looked up

Nikolas’ phone number, he found it and called Nikolas.

“Cassadine residents,” he heard Emily pick up the

phone.

“Emily, this is Michael is Nikolas there?” he asked.

“Yeah Michael hold on,” she said and handed the phone

to Nikolas.

“Hello,” Nikolas said.

“Nikolas, Jason just left with Courtney he needed to

bring her to the hospital. He was wondering if I can

drop them off there because I have a baseball game and

I can’t miss it completely but I can be a little late…

“Yeah go ahead and bring them over.” He said.

“Thanks Nikolas. Bye” he said.

“Bye,” Nikolas hung up the phone and explained what

happened. “Michael is going to drop them off on his

way to his baseball game.”

“Yeah I’m going to go to the hospital. Maybe I could

help.”

“Okay,” he said, Emily called Monica before she left.

“Mom it’s Emily I’m going to come in to work today.

Jason is bringing Courtney down she’s really sick and

maybe I can help.”

“Okay I’ll get ready for them,” Monica said. They said

good-bye and hung up. She kissed Nikolas good-bye and

left.

Ric, called Julian, “Morgan just brought his wife to

the hospital.

“Okay, thanks”

Jason walked off the elevator carrying Courtney he

spotted Monica, “Mom,” he said.

Monica turned and saw him she turned back and said,

“Emily they’re here” and Monica and Emily walked up to

them. Bobbie rolled a gurney up and Jason gently set

Courtney on it.”

Bobbie and Monica wheeled her inside an examining room

3. Emily asked Jason, “Michael called and said she was

sick. What are her symptoms?”

“She said her stomach and head hurt pretty bad and she

has a fever and she was shaking.”

“Okay we’ll find out what’s wrong with her, Jase.” She

said putting her hand on his shoulder and walked into

the room where they were examining her.

Jason sat down in the waiting room, few minutes later

he heard over the hospital intercom, “Dr. Quartermaine

you’re needed in exam room 3 stat.” When he heard that

he got more worried then he all ready was. He saw Alan

hurry into exam 3.

“Why would they need three doctors?” he asked himself.

Michael just dropped Meg and Dirk off with Nikolas and

was headed home to get his stuff and it started to

rain. “Thank God they’ll have to cancel the game if

it’s raining.” He said to himself. He pulled into the

garage and walked over and got into the elevator.

He walked into the penthouse and saw Sonny and Carly

sitting on the couch. “Hey Michael, your couch called

and said you’re game was cancelled.”

“I figured it was going to be canceled. I just dropped

Meg and Dirk off with Nikolas. Uncle Jason brought

Aunt Courtney to the hospital.”

“We should go down there,” Carly said and her and

Sonny left and Michael stayed with Morgan.

Jason had been waiting for anything on Courtney when

she felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked back and

saw Sonny and Carly arrived, “Hey man how you doing.

Michael said that you were here.” Sonny said and he

and Carly sat down on either side of him.

“Mom, Dad, and Emily went in their two and a half

hours ago.” He said frustrated.

“She’s strong Jason.” Sonny said trying to calm him

down.

“Something isn’t right about this sickness. No one

just all of a sudden gets sick.” He said. While Sonny

and Carly were comforting Jason they didn’t realize

there was a shadow watching them.

Few minutes later Dirk got there. “I went by your

penthouse and Marco said you were here.”

“Hey why were you at the penthouse did you find

anything,” Sonny asked.

“Yeah I did,” he said.

“I think this is my cue. I’m going to go get some

coffee. Do you guy want some?” she asked.

“Yeah,” they all said and she left in search for a

vending machine.

When Carly was gone Sonny said, “So, what did you find

out?”

“I know who approached Meg at the park. His name is

Julian Brozelli. I came across him when I was working

for Frankie.” He explained. “He mainly operates in

South America and Mexico.”

“Well he couldn’t be the one that approached Meg

whoever did that didn’t know how to speak Spanish

well. He must be working with someone local.” Sonny

said.

“Is he a threat?” Jason asked.

“Yeah,” Dirk explained everything from when he

encountered him.

While they were talking the shadow that was watching

them pulled out a cell phone, “Julian they figured out

who’s inside and you won’t believe who’s working for

them, Dirk Anderson.”

“Shit, I wasn’t expecting them to find out.” Julian

said furious.

“What do you want to do?”

“Well we’ll have to go ahead as planned.”

“Are you sure Julian?”

“Are you questioning my plan?” he yelled into the

phone.

“No Julian but he knows who we are…” he tried to say

but he was cut off.

“That doesn’t matter just do what I told you to do.”

He said and slammed the phone on the hook.

Carly came back and her, Sonny, Dirk and Jason were

waiting on the doctors to come out.

Fifteen minutes later Alan, Monica, and Emily walked

up to them. Jason stood up and asked, “What’s wrong

with her?”

“We ran a few test and we found a rare drug in her

system.” Emily said.

“Can she die from it?” he asked.

“If she doesn’t get the antidote in twenty-four hours

she will die.” Monica said.

Jason couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He sat

down and put his head in his hands. Everyone just

stared at each other they didn’t know what to say.

Jason was brought out of his thoughts by the phone

ringing. “Damn it…” he said in frustration, “What?” he

yelled in the phone.

“Mr. Morgan, that’s not a polite way to answer you

phone, how’ s your wife doing.”

“Julian Brozelli, how in the hell do you know my wife

is sick,” he asked furious that he would call now.

“Well I’m the one that made her sick.

“Why in the hell did you poison my wife,” he yelled so

load everyone looked at him.

“Temper, temper. The reason I did this is to get yours

and Corinthos’ attention. Now that I have it do what I

say and I’ll give you the antidote to save your wife’s

life and I won’t hurt your children either.”

“What do you want,” he said softly but you could hear

the hatred in his voice.

“I want you, Corinthos and Dirk at the abandoned

warehouse of 67th street tomorrow at 7:00 pm. I want

to negotiate in person.” He said.

“How do we know this isn’t an ambush?”

“You don’t.” he said, “but if you want you wife to

live you’ll do what is say.” He said and hung up.

Jason hung up and threw his phone across the waiting

room, scaring a lady sitting there and she moved to

another waiting room.

“Jason what’s going on?” Sonny asked.

“He poisoned her Sonny,” he replied.

“What does he want?” Dirk asked.

“He wants the three of us to go to an abandoned he

says he wants to negotiate in person. I think it’s a

trap.”

“It probably is but we can come up with a way to go

and get the antidote and save Courtney,” Dirk said,

determination in his voice.

“I’m going to go see Courtney and then we can talk

about his more.” He said and walking in the direction

of Courtney’s room.

He walked in and sat next to her. He took her hands in

his and kissed her palm. She stirred a little and woke

up, “Hey I’m sorry I woke you.” He said.

She looked in his eyes and saw something was wrong.

“Hey what’s wrong?” she asked in a whisper.

“Courtney…the reason you’re sick because someone

poisoned you. He wants me, Dirk, and Sonny to meet

with him and if we do what he says he’ll give us the

antidote and he won’t hurt the kids.” He explained.

“Oh my God,” she said and tears streamed down her

face. He wrapped his arms round her. “Jason, it’s

happening.” She said sobbing in his chest.

“What’s happening?” he asked.

“My dreams.” She said.

“No…no I’m not going to let that happen. I’m going to

get the antidote and take care of this guy so he won’t

hurt Meg or Dirk okay?” Courtney didn’t say anything

she was just cried. “I’m going to get Carly and have

her stay with you so we can figure out what we’re

going to do next.” He said but Courtney was asleep. He

leaned her back against the pillows.

“I’m all ready here,” Carly said from the door.

“Can you stay with her? I need to figure out a plan to

get the antidote.” He said. Carly gave him a hug and

he left.

Jason walked out of the room and over to Dirk and

Sonny. “I’m going to find a payphone and call Meg and

Dirk.” He said and went to turn away.

“Jason, use mine.” Dirk said holding out the cell

phone. Jason took it and thanked him.

He dialed the number. “Cassadine residents,” Nikolas

said.

“Hey Nikolas it’s Jason”

“Hey Jason, Emily just called and told me how are you

holding up?” he asked.

“I’m fine. I’m going to get the antidote. Is Meg and

Dirk asleep yet?”

“Dirk is but Meg’s still awake. You want to talk to

her?” he asked.

“Yeah,” he said.

“Daddy?” he heard Meg’s voice on the other line.

“Hey pumpkin. How you doing?”

“I miss you and mommy. When is she going to get better

so we can come home?” she asked.

“Soon sweetheart. Until then you take care of you

brother okay?”

“Okay daddy, I will. Guess what?”

“What, pumpkin?”

“Uncle Nikolas said he’s going to give us a ride on

his big boat.” She said excitedly.

“Cool. I got to go baby. Goodnight pumpkin, I love

you.”

“Goodnight daddy, I love you too.” She said and gave

the Nikolas and went up to bed.

“Maybe it’ll keep their minds off Courtney for a

while.” Nikolas said.

“Thanks Nikolas,” Jason said.

“Anytime, man” Nikolas said.

“Bye.”

“Bye.” They hung up and Jason walked back to the

waiting room and started coming up with a plan for

tomorrow with Sonny and Dirk.

Carly and Mandy were at the hospital with Courtney

when the men went to get the antidote. Courtney

started to have nightmares again. Emily gave her a

sedative to help her sleep with out waking up. She’d

been asleep for a few hours now.

Carly turned to Mandy, “How you holding up?” she

asked.

“I’m good. I guess I have to get use to this since I’m

getting married to him.” she replied.

“It’s always going to be hard but you have me and you

have Courtney so you won’t be alone.” She said.

“I just hope they get the antidote so I can ask

Courtney and you to stand with me at the wedding.” She

said and smiled.

“Really you want both of us to stand up with you?” she

asked excitedly.

“Yeah, I guess I’ll be the first to have two matrons

of honor at my wedding.” Mandy said.

“This is wonderful.” Carly said and hugged her.

Jason, Dirk, and Sonny pulled up to the warehouse.

“Okay guys whoever gets the antidote get out and bring

it to the hospital.” Jason said. The three of them put

their bulletproof vests on and got out of the van.

They walked in the door and saw a guy standing in the

middle do of the room, “Right on time,” he said

looking at his watch. All of a sudden three guys came

up behind them and knocked them out.

“Tie them up and get out of here. I want to talk to

them alone.” He said and they tied them up and left.

Jason woke up to a hand smacking him across the face

he opened his eyes and saw Julian standing over him.

He could tell he’d been hitting him for a while

because his nose and lip was bleeding and he could

feel his eye swollen.

“About time you woke up I thought my guards hit you a

little too hard.”

Jason looked around and saw Dirk and Sonny tied up in

chairs next to him. They were still unconscious. “If

you wanted us all along why did you poison my wife?”

“Well I heard about you Morgan you’re good at keeping

yourself alive. So I poisoned you wife for two

reasons. For one to get you here and for another if

you survived your wife would be dead and you’d be weak

and I can take you out without a problem.” He

explained. He went over and started to pour gasoline

over everything.

When he was done he took out a small bottle. “If you

want the antidote, untie yourself get past the fire

and get it.” He said putting the antidote on the table

across the room. He lit a match and threw it causing a

wall of fire to form in between Jason and the

antidote. “Good luck,” he said he said with a laugh

and left the warehouse and locked the door.

Jason struggled to get free. His ropes loosened and he

slid his hands out. He ran over to Dirk and Sonny.

“Guys wake up we got to get out of here.” He said

waking them up and untying their hands.

“Where’s Julian?” Dirk asked.

“He left.” Jason replied.

“Did you get the antidote?” Sonny asked.

“No not yet. It’s over there,” he said pointing across

the room.

“How are we going to get it?” Dirk asked.

“We aren’t doing anything you guys are leaving and

I’ll get the antidote.” He said. “Wait for me at the

van,” They tried to protest but Jason wouldn’t let

them stay so they escaped out a window.

Jason turned around and looked at the fire. He looked

around and saw a blanket. He ran over to it and

grabbed he looked around again and saw a bucket of

water. He grabbed it and soaked the blanket in it. He

wrapped it around him and said, “It’s now or ever,”

and jumped through the fire.

He landed on the other side and quickly took the

blanket, which was now on fire, off and ran to the

table where the antidote was. He grabbed it and looked

around. He saw another window. He put the antidote in

his pocket and climbed up and out the window and ran

to the van where Dirk and Sonny were waiting.

“Did you get it?” they questioned.

“Yeah let’s go quick we don’t have much time.”

Carly and Mandy were sitting next to Courtney when all

of sudden the monitors went off, “ oh my God, no.”

Carly said starting to cry, “Mandy get the doctor

quick.

Mandy ran out of the room and got Emily and Alan and

they ran in. Carly moved out of their way and Emily

started CPR while Alan put something in her IV. Carly

was crying on Mandy’s shoulder, she was also crying.

“Come on Courtney you can’t leave my brother,” Emily

said.

All of a sudden the doors busted open and Jason, Dirk

and Sonny ran in. “Dad, I have the antidote.” Jason

and gave it to Alan. He quickly put it in her IV.

Dirk and Sonny walked over to Carly and Mandy and they

cried into their shoulders.

Jason ran over to the opposite side of Emily and took

Courtney’s hand, “Courtney please don’t leave me I

need you. Our children need you.” He whispered in her

ear while Emily continued to do CPR, “Please Courtney

stay with me, baby,” Jason said and tears started to

stream down his face.

Emily looked up at the clock; Courtney had been flat

lined for 20 minutes with no sign of a heartbeat. She

stopped, “Jason…” she said with tears in her own eyes.

“No, she’s not gone she wouldn’t leave me.” he said

and started to cry harder. He put his head on her

shoulder.

All of a sudden there was a beep sound through the

room. Jason picked his head up and looked at the

monitor. He looked at Emily and smiled, “I knew she

wouldn’t leave,” with the biggest smile on his face.

He put his hand on her face and whispered in her ear.

“I knew you would stay with me.”

“Jason, we need to check her out.” Alan said putting

his hand on Jason’s shoulder.

“I’ll be outside but I’ll be here when you wake up.”

He whispered in her ear and walked out with Dirk,

Mandy, Carly, and Sonny.

When they got to the waiting room, Jason turned to

them and said, “She’s going to be all right,” Jason

said with a smile on his face. They all sat down.

They were waiting for Alan to come out. Mandy and

Carly had fallen asleep on Dirk and Sonny’s shoulder.

Jason sat there feeling relief he hadn’t felt in

weeks.

Alan and Emily walked out a few minutes later. Jason

stood up. “The antidote had destroyed most of the drug

and her immune system is doing to rest she’s going to

be fine.

“Thank you guys,” he said and gave them both a hug and

walked to Courtney room. He walked in and sat beside.

He took her hand in his and kissed it. He just stared

at her sleeping.

A few minutes later Courtney started to stir and she

woke up. She opened her eyes to see Jason smiling at

her.

“Jason,” she said tiredly, “What happened?” she asked.

“I almost lost you, but I got the antidote and you’re

going to be fine.” He said.

She reached up and touched the side of his face. He

leaned into her touched. “You looked like you just got

hit by a truck.” She said smiling up at him and

running her thumb along the bruises on his face.

“I’m okay, a little tired, but I’m okay.” He replied.

“Would you lay with me?” she asked.

“Of coarse I will,” he said climbing under the covers

and laying down next. He wrapped his arms around her

and she rested her head on his chest and they fell

asleep.

The door opened and a shadow crossed the room…

Michael got off the elevator. He saw Sonny in the

waiting room and Carly asleep on his shoulder. “Hey

dad,” he whispered so he wouldn’t wake up Carly.

“Hey buddy. Where’s Morgan?” he asked.

“He’s at grandma’s. How’s Aunt Courtney.”

“She’s better now. Jason got the antidote just in

time.” He explained.

“Good I’m going to go say hi,” he said and walked to

Courtney’s room.

He opened the door and saw someone standing in the

room. We walked up behind him and cracked him over the

head and he slumped to the floor. Michael walked over

to the bed.

“Uncle Jason…” he woke Jason up.

“Hey Michael,” he said then saw the guy on the floor.

“What happened?” he asked getting up carefully so he

wouldn’t wake up Courtney.

“I saw him standing over the bed and I hit him over

the head and woke you up.” He explained.

“Okay, go get your dad.” Jason said. Michael nodded

and left the room.

Jason stood their staring at Julian lying on the

floor. It took everything in him not to kill him now.

A few minutes later Sonny walked in with Dirk

following him. “Michael told me what happened.” Sonny

said.

“What do you want to do?” Jason asked.

“I’ll call Marco and Max and have them come down here

and take care of him.” Sonny said.

Few minutes later Max and Marco came down and took

Julian to a safe house and killed him.

Courtney and Jason stepped off the elevator, “I’m so

glad to be home.” Courtney said.

“I’m glad to have you home.” He said leaning down and

kissing her sweetly.

Jason opened the door and it was dark. “What’s going

on?” Courtney said walking in ahead of him.

The lights suddenly came on and they all jumped out

and yelled, “Surprise” she jumped about a foot in the

air. She looked around and saw a huge banner on the

wall. It read, “Welcome home Mommy” it said in Meg’s

handwriting. It had drawings all over it.

She looked around and saw Dirk, Mandy, Sonny, Carly,

Michael, Morgan, Meg, Dirk, Nikolas, Emily, Monica,

Alan, AJ, Ned, and Mike.

“Wow all this for me,” she said. She gave everyone a

hug and they all had a blast. They all laughed and

danced to music, which was kind of funny since they

were in their living room and it was a little crowded.

They had a cake that Jason, Meg and Dirk made them

selves, with the help of Sonny of coarse.

Epilogue

They found out that Ric was helping Julian and took

care of him. Mandy and Dirk got married and had a

baby, named Emma Courtney Anderson.

A few months after Emma was born Courtney found out

that she was pregnant with twins. She gave birth to

two boys, Andrew Mathew and Christopher Michael

Morgan.
