Why Journey?

We believe that Jason and Courtney are two characters that are meant to be, and we have felt this way since their very first scene. Vicky actually suspected they would be a perfect match even before that! Alicia Leigh Willis is a fantastic actress, who does an excellent job portraying Courtney. She is a powerhouse force at GH and is great at showing Courtney's every emotion. Steve Burton is just as excellent as Jason, but he is at his very best when he is in scenes with Alicia. The characters of Jason and Courtney have something that no other couple in daytime has. Jason needs a woman who can be challenging and strong, unlike some of the weaklings he's had in the past (Ahem Elizabeth Webber). Courtney isn't afraid to stand up to him, to yell at him, or to breakdown in front of him. She has the innocence that Jason has been attracted to in the past with women like Robin and Elizabeth, and she has the fire and spunk that drew Jason to Carly. Courtney needs a man that she can trust and know that he will not lie to her. Who better than the man of truth himself? Jason and Courtney are a perfect match. They challenge each other and match each other in nearly every way. That is why we believe Journey belongs together.

When did you establish this site?

We established the site on August 29, 2002. After watching Jason carry Courtney off stage and take her home, we swooned at the amazing performance. Immediately after watching those scenes, we knew Journey deserved a site of their own and we were going to be the ones to build it.

Are you in any way affiliated with ABC, Disney, General Hospital, etc.?

No we are not in any way affiliated with ABC, Disney, General Hospital or any other organization that is related to General Hospital. This is strictly a fan site and all disclaimers apply. There is original material here for the site, which is copy written just for this site (i.e. wallpapers, images, etc.) and are not to be used on other websites, unless permitted by either one of us. Basically we are not affiliated with any GH affiliates.

Who are you?

We are two Journey fans. We are close friends who were brought together by GH and fanfiction.

I want to contribute to the site. What can I do?

We are always looking for new pictures, wallpapers, and other things. If you see a picture that we don't have please feel free to e-mail it to us. And we are ALWAYS looking for some great Journey fanfiction. If you have a fanfic you would like to submit, please read the guidelines and send it to us. So far we really don't need much help with things. Although if you think that you can contribute something special to the site then please let us know.

Site History

Journey Online was first hosted at Geocities. When Vicky and I started the website, we decided to use a place where we wouldn't have that many problems and would be best for beginners, and that happened to be Geocities (so we highly recommend beginners to start there). We quickly out grew our bandwidth and that forced us to move. We moved to Bravenet web services. We stayed there for a few months, but that too couldn't handle Journey's growing popularity and ended up costing us extra money since we had to buy extra bandwidth. So we finally came to our new home, PowWeb. We've been with the service for a very long time and are completely satisfied with both the space and the bandwidth. We also recommend this place to anyone who'd like to get their own domain. As for the domain name, Journey-Online[dot]Net, believe it or not we were contemplating on changing it to something different. We actually considered Unbridled-Passion[dot]Com because Journey-Online[dot]Com was not available. We are glad that we got Journey-Online[dot]Net though!
