The Hospital

Sam: So the doctor says that Faith probably won't live through the night, but even if she dies, Jason, I think the shooter might know where Michael is.

Jason: Yeah, it's possible.

Sam: Ahem. I'm going to get you a cup of coffee.

Jason: No.

Sam: Yeah, medium or large? What do you want?

Jason: Large. Thank you.

Sam: Hey. Ok.

[She leaves and Courtney comes in]

Rachel: Courtney?

Courtney: Has Faith said anything yet?

Rachel: No, not yet. But, look, I just wanted to apologize for what happened tonight.

Courtney: Don't worry. Carly?

Carly: Hey. Oh, I'm glad to see you.

Courtney: How's Faith?

Carly: She's -- I don't know. Tony said she's dying, but she's going to -- she's going to wake up. She's going to tell us where Michael is. She has to, you know?

Courtney: I hope that's true.

Sonny: What do you mean, you hope?

Courtney: I want Michael to be alive.

Sonny: Michael is alive. Why is it so hard for you to believe that?

Courtney: Sonny, I was -- I was just trying to --

Sonny: Look, I know -- you know what? You don’t have kids. You don't understand what's happening.

Carly: Sonny -- ok, come on, this isn't helping, all right?

Sonny: Ok, but --

Courtney: I'll be praying for Michael.

Carly: Ok.

Courtney: Hey. Will you call me --?

Jason: Yeah --

Courtney: If you find out anything?

Jason: Of course.

Courtney: Look, I know Sonny is angry and he's scared. I get that, but I love Michael, too.

[Jason hugs Courtney who is in tears]

Jason: Ok. It's ok. It's ok.

Courtney: I'm sorry.

Jason: It's all right. There's something I got to take care of. You going to be ok?

Courtney: Yeah, I'm all right. Thanks.

[He leaves]

Later…

Jason: Hey. Did you find anything else on the shooter?

Steven: It's more what we didn't find -- the scope from the rifle was missing. I can't figure out why the shooter would take that.

Jason: Maybe it's traceable.

Steven: As in custom made?

Jason: Well, if the optics were adjusted because the shooter wore glasses, right?

Steven: That sounds like you have someone in mind.

Sam: Hey.

Courtney: Hey.

Sam: Do you know where Jason went?

Courtney: He said he had to go take care of something.  I guess we both know what that means.

Sam: Yeah. If I were the shooter, I'd be a little nervous right now.

Courtney: Yeah, you're right. Jason thinks that the shooter knows where Michael is, and Jason has a way of making people talk.

Sam: Do you want a cup of coffee?

Courtney: Sure. Thanks.
