[Jax and Courtney have noticed everyone staring at them]

Courtney: I got to get out of here now. Let's go.

Jax: What are we going to do? French bistro?

Courtney: Ok, anyplace but kelly'S. Let's just go.

Mike: Excuse me --

courtney: Ugh.

Mike: You and I need to talk.

Courtney: Ignore him, ok? He has no respect for personal boundaries.

Mike: It'll just take a minute.

Courtney: Dad.

Jax: I don't have anything to hide from your father, so --

courtney: Thanks a lot.

Lois: I didn't say a word.

Courtney: Oh, ok. So just out of the blue, my dad is convinced that jax and I have slept together?

Lois: Courtney, I discreetly hinted that maybe it wasn't the best night to drop in on you because you already had company, that's all.

Courtney: Ok, you know what, lois? Discreet isn't your best event. I'd like to get everybody's attention, please. I -- I'd like to clear a little thing up here. Jax and I have not slept together, ok? However, there is an excellent chance that we will sleep together at a future date. And in the event jax and I do have sex, I will be sure to keep you all informed.

[Jason walks in, and Courtney ‘s face blanches.]

Courtney: Jason, listen, I want to explain what you walked into at kelly's last night. Look, I an, you just ran out of there so fast.

Jason: It's not -- it's -- it's not necessary.

Courtney: I need you to know I didn't sleep with jax.

Jason: You -- you don't need to explain. It doesn't matter anymore.

Courtney: It matters to me.

Jason: Why? I mean, what difference does it really make? You know, we're over. You have a right to sleep with whoever you want to sleep with.

Courtney: I didn't sleep with jax.

Jason: And I told you before, courtney, that I'm glad for any happiness that you can find, but you need to stop giving me updates on your relationship with jax. It's too hard watching you move on. Ok, so whatever you're doing or you're not doing, please, from now on just keep it to yourself.
