The Loft

[Knock on door]

[knock]

courtney: Hold on.

Courtney: Look, if it's another delivery from jasper jacks, I don't want --

leticia: Hi.

Courtney: Michael, leticia --

michael: Don't worry about morgan. He's fine.

Courtney: What? What happened?

Leticia: Morgan spiked a fever and was taken to the E.R.

Courtney: Oh, my god. Is he ok?

Leticia: Yeah, he's responding to medication and he'll be fine. But michael insisted that we come here and tell you, so now you know and we can leave now.

Michael: You go ahead. I'm not going home ever because I'm moving in with aunt courtney.

The Hospital

[Phone rings]

carly: Hello?

Courtney: Hey, it's me. Look, michael asked leticia to bring him over here. He's with me now.

Carly: Well, why is he there? Why did he stop by?

Courtney: To tell me about morgan. God, i mean, carly, you must have been terrified. I'm so glad he's ok.

Carly: Yeah, thanks. So are we. I will tell you all about it later. But you know what, you got to tell michael he needs to go home. It's past his bedtime.

Courtney: Well, that's the problem, carly. He's refusing to leave. Michael says he's on strike.

Carly: Jason?

Jason: Morgan is sleeping.

Carly: Great. I need you to go please pick up michael and bring him home.

Jason: What are you talking about? I sent him home with leticia a half an hour ago.

Sonny: Yeah, michael conned leticia into taking him to courtney'S.

Carly: Mm-hmm, and now he is refusing to go home unless i never see durant again.

Jason: Good.

Carly: You have no right to inflict your paranoia on my son. Michael shouldn't think that his grandfather wants to arrest his father.

Jason: Yeah, I agree. That's why you need to stay away from durant.

Carly: Oh, god, would you stop thinking the worst?

Jason: I talked to bobbie. Durant asked her to speak to you on his behalf, but you had already rejected him -- a fact he didn't even bother to mention to bobbie.

Carly: And what does that prove, jason?

Jason: Well, that proves that he's not being honest with anyone, carly.

Carly: Ok, you know what, maybe -- maybe he went to bobbie because he wanted to get some help in getting to know me!

Jason: Carly, don't make excuses for the guy. Come on.

Carly: Well, could you just start being a little bit objective about him?

Jason: I'm sorry, he's a user. He tried to work bobbie to get to you. He's going to use you and michael or anyone he can to get information on sonny. This has to stop!

Carly: Ok, you know, maybe you just don't get it because you don't love your father. Maybe that part of your brain was destroyed in the accident.

Sonny: Enough! Enough! Now, that's out of line.

Carly: I'm sorry, jason. You know i did not mean that. I am sorry.

Jason: I'll get michael and bring him home.

Carly: I shouldn't have said that. I shouldn't have said that to jason. I'm sorry. I just -- I can't even think straight right now. I'm worried about morgan, and this whole thing with durant is driving me crazy. I don't even know what i'm saying half the time.

Sonny: Well, that is exactly why you shouldn't be talking to durant.

The Loft

Courtney: Hey. You should have asked before you just helped yourself.

Michael: When you lived at uncle jason's, you said i could have cookies whenever i wanted.

Courtney: Well, yeah, those were a gift, though, and I want to return them.

Michael: Why? Don't you like the person who sent them?

Courtney: I like him sometimes. But other times, he makes me so mad, I never want to speak to him again.

Michael: That's pretty mad.

Courtney: Yeah, it is. Anyway, that's how i'm feeling right now.

Michael: Is this person your friend?

Courtney: I guess you could say that.

Michael: Then your friend should apologize.

Courtney: You're pretty smart, you know that?

[Knock on door]

michael: Maybe that's your friend now.

Courtney: No, that is your parents coming to take you home.

Michael: I'm not leaving.

Courtney: Yeah, you need to work this out with your mom and dad.

[Courtney opens the door and it's Jason]

Michael: Hey, you want a cookie? Aunt courtney's friend sent them to her. They're really good.

Jason: Don't try to change the subject. Michael, i told you not to trust durant. I didn't tell you to blackmail your mom into staying away from him.

Michael: But you said durant wants to put daddy in jail.

Jason: Yeah, he does, but you shouldn't be --

michael: Then i'm going to keep mommy away from him. I'm going to make sure that happens.

Jason: Hey, hey, hold on. This is not up to you. Your mom's a grownup. She gets to make her own choices.

Michael: Well, she's wrong!

Jason: Well, then she's going to have to figure that out for herself.

Michael: But --

jason: There's no -- there's no buts. I'm taking you home. Go get cleaned up.

Courtney: Thank you.

[Michael is walking slowly to the bathroom]

Jason: Can we speed it up a little bit?

Courtney: Come on. Do you really think it was necessary to warn michael about his own grandfather?

Jason: Yeah, I did.

Courtney: Listen, jason, about the kiss the other day --

jason: You know what, courtney? Seriously, i know, it doesn't matter anymore.

Courtney: But just please let me apologize? Just let me -- please? I overreacted to something stupid and i -- I needed your help, and i didn't mean to use you. That's not what I was --

[knock on door]

courtney: Oh, god. It's another delivery person. They've been coming all night. Will you just tell them to go away? I don't want it.

[Jason opens the door to Jax]

Jason: She doesn't want any.
