>Courtney: I shot the wrong man.
Jason: Coleman broke into the apartment. He was attacking you.
Courtney: If he's the stalker, then who was that on the phone?
Jason: Courtney, we'll find out.
Courtney: Oh, god, what if -- what if i killed him? What if I killed an innocent man, jason?
Jason: It was self-defense, courtney. This guy was attacking you.
Jason: He's still alive.
A.J.: What's he doing here? How'd he get in?
Courtney: We need to call an ambulance, now.
Jason: Tell them he's been shot at least two or three times in the chest.
A.J.: All right, look, I'll take care of it, all right?
Courtney: Please, jason, don't let him die. If i'm responsible for killing another man --
Jason: Courtney, he's still breathing on his own. It's ok.
A.J.: All right, look, yeah, a man's been shot. Send an ambulance. 243rd west end avenue, apartment 3-C. You shot him?
Courtney: I left the party early. I didn't tell you because you were having such a good time. Look, A.J., I came in and he just came out of nowhere wearing that mask, and -- and we fought, and somehow i managed to get in the kitchen and grab the gun and -- and I shot him. Ok, I didn't know that it was coleman until I pulled off the mask.
A.J.: Where the hell did the gun come from?
Jason: I gave it to her.
A.J.: You had no business giving my wife a gun.
Jason: You left courtney alone. You went out of town, A.J.
Courtney: Jason was just trying to help.
A.J.: By giving you a 9mm?
Jason: A stalker had already broken in here once.
A.J.: So what did you do, build on her fear, made sure she was good and scared?
Courtney: No, that's not what happened, A.J.
Jason: No, courtney needed to be able to defend herself, that's what happened.
A.J.: Yeah, but by giving her a gun in the apartment?
Jason: What would coleman have done to her if she hadn't had it?
A.J.: Why didn't you mention this to me?
Courtney: Will both of you just please stop it!
[Police enters.]
Taggert: Hey. Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slowly, slowly.
Paramedic: Can we come in? All right, here he is. Come on.
Taggert: What do we got here?
Jason: Ok, coleman's been shot at least two --
paramedic: We have gunshot wounds.
Jason: Two, three times in the chest, from what I can tell.
Taggert: What was your weapon of choice?
Courtney: I shot him. Jason was trying to save his life.
Jason: Yeah, it was my gun, taggert. It's registered to me.
Taggert: Ok, well, how did it get in mrs. Quartermaine's hands?
Jason: I gave it to her so she could protect herself from the stalker.
Taggert: How do you fit into this?
A.J.: I got here after -- after he'd already been shot. I called 911. But I recognized the mask because the stalker was wearing it the night i fought with him.
Jason: Yeah, he's right. I saw it before the guy knocked me out that night.
A.J.: Taggert, coleman's been hanging around courtney, showing up at kelly's, using any excuse he can to speak with her. I mean, she suspected he was the stalker.
Taggert: Well, looks like you got your stalker.
Courtney: No. The real stalker -- he called me after i was attacked. I -- i may i shot the wrong man.
A.J.: There was another call?
Courtney: It's the same person who's been calling all along.
A.J.: You sure?
Courtney: It's exactly the same voice.
A.J.: But it doesn't make any sense.
Taggert: Are you sure coleman was trying to attack you?
Courtney: He did attack me.
Taggert: Yeah, well, you used to work for the man. Maybe you mistook his intentions.
A.J.: What in the hell are you implying?
Courtney: He was tearing at my dress! I had to fight him off!
Jason: Coleman broke in, he was waiting for her. That doesn't change what the --
taggert: Look, I'm just trying to put the pieces together like you are, all right? Are you willing to come down to the pcpd so i can make a formal report?
Courtney: Fine. I have nothing to hide.
Taggert: Follow in your own car.
A.J.: I'll be right there. You set her up to shoot coleman.
Jason: Oh, come -- think what you want.
A.J.: Admit it, you had her so wound up, she probably would've shot me if I walked through that door. Or was that what you were hoping for?
Jason: If i wanted to hurt you, i wouldn't use courtney to do it.
A.J.: Sure you would, in a heartbeat.
Jason: We don't have time for this, A.J.
A.J.: You played on this whole situation to make courtney depend on you, jason the savior. Convenient way to get close to my wife, right?
Jason: If this stalker's still out there, who you more concerned about, me or him?
A.J.: Ok, so what'd the guy say on the phone?
Jason: I don't know.
A.J.: Well, does she have any idea who it is?
Jason: Well, she was too shaken up to think straight. She's about to confess to gunning some guy down. She shouldn't spend any more time alone with taggert than she has to.
A.J.: Oh. I guess you're going to run to her rescue yet again, right?
Jason: If i can help courtney, I will.
Jason: Hey.
Courtney: You had a fight with a.J., Didn't you?
Jason: He blames me for what happened.
Courtney: It's not your fault, it's mine.
Jason: Courtney, you were defending yourself.
Courtney: What if coleman's not the stalker?
Jason: Who cares. He attacked you.
Courtney: God, jason, I just don't get it. That was the stalker's voice on the phone. I know it.
Jason: Well, hopefully, coleman pulls through. Maybe he can give us some answers.
