Outside Kelly's

Courtney: Don't forget your button and don't forget to vote. Hey.

Jason: Hey.

Courtney: You're just in time. We got free coffee, doughnuts, all kinds of "vote for alexis" propaganda.

Jason: You don't really have to pretend you're in a good mood.

Courtney: Fine. Busted. So, have you heard anything?

Jason: Coleman will be charged with stalking you today.

Courtney: That makes it over, finally.

Jason: Yeah, it seems like it.

Courtney: Be honest with me. You believe coleman, don't you? You think that a.J. Paid him to stalk me.

Jason: A.J. Is your husband. Do you think he would stalk you?

Courtney: Coleman makes it seem possible, but i know that he's desperate. He got caught. He wants to reduce the charges against himself, so he's using a.J. As a scapegoat. I mean, look at it from his point of view. He gets to kill two birds with one stone. Coleman gets out of jail, and at the same time he gets back at A.J. For burning down the oasis. And as an added bonus, he gets to shake my faith in my husband. Coleman -- he's smart and vindictive. It all fits, jason. And as for a.J. --

A.J.: What about me?

Courtney: Good news. Jason just told me that they're going to charge coleman today.

Jason: Yeah, the three of us will probably have to testify at some point.

A.J.: How do you feel about that?

Jason: Why not?

A.J.: You don't exactly have a great reputation when it comes to cooperating with the police.

Jason: Yeah, but I'll do whatever it takes to make sure the whack job who terrorized courtney gets put away.  [walks away]

Courtney: Look, I know that seeing me with jason really upsets you, but I really don't see any way of avoiding it until coleman is behind bars.

A.J.: I don't care about him. I really don't. All that matters is that you're safe and coleman is in jail. That's all. For the first time in a long time i can remember, i finally have you all to myself. Are you working right now?

Courtney: Just helping out. Why?

A.J.: I want to take you somewhere?

Courtney: Where?

A.J.: It's a surprise. All you need to know is we'll be where no one can find us.

Isolated cabin

A.J.: You like it?

Courtney: Yeah, it's great. But where are we?

A.J.: The quartermaine cabin. I -- i sucked it up and asked grandmother if we could use it, and she happily agreed.

Courtney: Wow. I didn't even know you had this place.

A.J.: Well, no sense in mentioning something you don't have access to, right?

Courtney: It's so quiet, deserted.

A.J.: And cold. Look at you, you're shivering. Let me start a fire.

Courtney: Well, you were right about one thing. No one will be able to find us out here.

A.J.: Well, that's the point. We have some "just us" time. Here we go. You've been through so much lately. And I'm really sorry i wasn't there for you.

Courtney: It's not your fault. It's just bad timing.

A.J.: But I'm here now, aren't i? I'm going to make it up to you. I promise. I'm going to help you feel safe and secure again if it's the last thing i do.

Courtney: I do feel all those things with you, a.J. I know how much you love me, how much you want to protect me. It's ridiculous to think that you would ever stalk me. Right?

A.J.: Did I miss something? After what you told me last night -- you said you believed me when I told you that I didn't pay coleman to stalk you --

courtney: I did.

A.J.: But today you don't?

Courtney: I didn't say that.

A.J.: What changed?

Courtney: Nothing.

A.J.: Yeah, ok. You know what? It's all clear to me now. When i picked you up at kelly's, something was off. On the drive up here, you were quiet and aloof. My god, what did you think i was going to do to you?

Courtney: A.J., You've got this all wrong.

A.J.: No, courtney, really. I want you to walk me through the steps here. What would i have to gain by making the one person that i love more than life itself afraid? Not to mention the 250 grand coleman claims i paid him is a little steep for my pockets.

Courtney: Can't we just walk through the door and start over?

A.J.: Do you believe i love you?

Courtney: Yes.

A.J.: That you're my entire life? My one and only priority?

Courtney: Yes.

A.J.: Tell me, damn it. Why do you think i'd go to such lengths to hurt you?

Courtney: I don't know.

A.J.: Say it! You think it. Now tell me.

Courtney: It's because of jason.

A.J.: Let me get this straight. You believe I would go to a guy who forced you to strip for him, pay him 250 grand to terrorize you, so that i could what, exactly? You see, that's the part i'm missing. What? Play hero? Look better than my brother? Do you really believe that i feel that threatened by him?

Courtney: A.J., Don't, please.

A.J.: Do i have reason to be threatened by my brother, courtney?

Courtney: What do you mean?

A.J.: He's been spending an awful lot of time with you, protecting you. At least that's the front.

Courtney: What are you implying?

A.J.: Something happen between my brother and my wife while I was gone? You weren't exactly quick to keep me in the loop, you know. You didn't rush.

Courtney: Yeah, well, how could you expect me to be? You made it very clear from the start how much you hated jason, how much that you didn't trust him. God, every time jason helped me, you totally went off.

A.J.: Oh, I see. I see. Out of jealousy for my brother, I go to coleman, i pay him to stalk you in some twisted revenge plan. Is that it? What kind of relationship do we have if you think that's what i'm capable of? Forget it. I'm finished, and so is our marriage. [leaves]

[AJ comes back in]

Courtney: I was worried. I almost called after you when you left. I almost followed you. I was -- I was so afraid that i was going to hear the car turn on and drive off.

A.J.: I just had to walk a few things off.

Courtney: I know. A.J., I'm so sorry. This whole thing -- it's all my fault. I don't know what else to say except i just wanted to be honest. I needed to voice my doubts out loud so that you could just ease them away. But I never should've doubted you. I realize that now. It's just that i have been so scared for so long. I just -- I don't know. I know deep down in my heart that you'd never do something so cruel, especially to me. I was wrong. A.J., I admit it. Could you please forgive me? I don't know what I would do without you.

A.J.: It's over. It's over. I forgive you.

The Hospital

Jason: So, I hear you got indicted as courtney's stalker.

Coleman: Good news travels fast.

Jason: Plenty of evidence. It's not exactly a surprise, coleman.

Coleman: That's not why you're here.

Jason: Why do you think i'm here?

Coleman: Because you know this thing has a.J. Written all over it -- the setup, payoff, execution. I mean, the guy is such a sick puppy. I mean, he'd stalk his own wife to get her to need him. The truth needs to come out, jason. You're in a position to make it happen.

Jason: Why would I help you?

Coleman: Because you and I want the same thing.
