Courtney's apartment:
A.J.: I'm right, aren't I? You're sleeping with my brother.
Courtney: I want you to leave.
A.J.: How many times, courtney? Or has it been going on all along? How many times have you slept with my brother in my own bed? Do you even know? Or have you lost count?
Courtney: Oh, don't you dare get self-righteous with me, A.J. Who I'm with and what I do isn't any of your business.
A.J.: Wrong! I am still your husband.
Courtney: Oh, yeah, my husband -- the man who lied to me the entire time we were married, the man who stalked me and scared me half to death. I don't owe you any answers, A.J., Not one.
A.J.: You're right. I lied. But mostly to myself about who you really are. My wide-eyed bride, beautiful and innocent, pure, and all for me. That's not who you really are. You're nothing but your basic, run-of-the-mill, see-them-every-day slut.
Harborview Towers Hallway:
Carly: What's the matter, jason? Cat got your tongue?
Jason: No.
Sonny: So, where were you last night?
Jason: I was --
[phone rings]
[Jason goes into his penthouse]
Courtney's apartment:
Courtney: No, I do not have to stand here in my apartment and take this abuse from you.
A.J.: Our apartment.
Courtney: You never put a dime into this place.
A.J.: I see, so it's my fault i had a lower paying job, while you were out raking in the big bucks stripping for all the drunks around town?
Courtney: Get out! Just get out.
A.J.: You enjoyed it, didn't you? Stripping? You certainly didn't rush off the stage the night I begged you to leave and come home with me.
Courtney: I stripped for you, A.J., To keep you out of jail because I was stupid enough to believe that you actually loved me.
A.J.: You're right. I never loved you. I loved who I thought you were, courtney -- a woman who loved me. I've got to give it to you. It was a hell of an act. You really had me going.
Courtney: Yeah, fine. All right. Whatever you need to believe.
A.J.: It's what's true. You're trash, just like your brother. I gave up my fortune for you! I gave up everything! And the first chance you get, you go and you jump into bed with my brother? The one person in this world you know i hate? But you know what? This time you're going to be the loser here, not me. So i really hope you enjoyed the little roll in the hay with my brother because it's not going to last. You see, my brother has a thing for sweet, innocent, untouchable girls. Good girls. And you blew that the minute you jumped into bed with him.
Courtney: You know what? You don't know anything about it.
A.J.: I do know my brother. And to him right now, you're nothing but easy sex. Now, don't get me wrong. He's not going to kick you out of bed right away. Even jase, anti-social moron that he is, likes a convenient place to rest his head, so to speak, until another angel comes along -- a robin, another elizabeth. And then he will leave you and never look back because that's how he is. He has no feelings, so he has no motivation to stay out of love or guilt or obligation. He will just leave. And I can't tell you how much i am going to enjoy watching that.
Courtney: If you don't get out of here right now, i'm going to call the police.
A.J.: Why don't you call jason and beg him to come over and protect you? You might as well get it while you can.
[AJ leaves and Courtney goes to her bedroom and looks at the unmade bed.]
Harborview Hallway
Jason: What are you doing?
Carly: I'm coming to see you. What are you doing?
Jason: I'm on my way out.
Carly: I can see that. Where you going? Going back to courtney's?
Jason: Actually, I'm taking my bike out.
Carly: I know you. I know what that means. You need to think, clear your head. Courtney got to you, didn't she?
Jason: Just leave it alone, ok, carly? Just leave it alone.
Carly: You know what? I told you. I warned you, right? I told you that a thank-you dinner meant a date. You should be thanking me, you know? I helped you out.
Jason: No, you didn't help me. You didn't. You didn't help me.
Carly: Jason, what's going on? I love you, ok? I want you to be happy, and I think that you and courtney would be absolutely --
jason: Just stop. If you want to help me, just stay out of my personal life right now.
Ric: Hi.
Carly: Hey. Ric, what -- what are you doing here?
Ric: I have something for sonny.
Carly: No, this is wrong. Sonny didn't want you here. [Jason throws Ric against the wall] Jason, jason --
jason: You stay away from her.
Jason: Ok, carly, grab the briefcase and check it for a gun.
Carly: Jason, he's not a --
jason: Do it!
Carly: All right!
Ric: Mrs. Corinthos, would you please explain to mr. Morgan that my services were requested?
Carly: Yes. All right, he's -- it's true. He's clean, all right? He's clean. He's telling the truth, ok? This is ric. He's doing some work for sonny, and don't ask me what because I wouldn't know.
Jason: What are you doing here?
Ric: I have some information for mr. Corinthos that might be of some use to him. I wanted to make sure he got it right away.
Carly: Why aren't you meeting with him right now?
Ric: What are you talking about?
Carly: You called sonny, and you asked him to meet you somewhere. Ric: No, I didn't.
Jason: I've never heard of you, so you're going to leave. If sonny wants to see you, he'll call you.
Ric: If that's the way you want it. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again. Have a lovely evening, mrs. Corinthos.
Carly: It's a little late for that.
Jason: What made you think sonny was meeting him somewhere else?
Carly: Because that's what sonny told me. He told me he got a phone call from ric, and then he took off. But you know what? It's obvious he got a call from brenda and he went to her again.
Jason: Carly, don't do this.
Carly: Don't what? Don't what? Don't be jealous? Don't call my husband on his obsession with this woman?
Jason: I'm just saying don't escalate the situation.
Carly: Ok, well, you know what? My marriage is my business. So if you want to help, stay out of my personal life.
Courtney's Apartment:
[Knock on door]
Courtney: Who's there?
Jason: It's me.
Jason: Sorry if i woke you up. Are you ok?
Courtney: What are you doing here again? What do you want with me?
Jason: I came back because I shouldn't have left in the first place.
Courtney: Yeah, but you did. Look, I thought that maybe things were moving a little too fast for you.
Jason: Yeah, I guess it is.
Courtney: Yeah.
Jason: A little bit.
Courtney: Me, too.
Jason: But that doesn't mean i don't want to see you.
Courtney: Me, neither.
Jason: I like you. And regardless of what happens next -- I left because i don't -- I mean, I don't know what that is. I mean, I don't want to crowd you. I don't want to -- I don't want to make promises that i can't keep. And most of all, i don't want to hurt you. And it looks like I already have.
Courtney: No. It wasn't you.
Jason: Then what?
Courtney: A.J. Thinks that i'm trash. And he says that now you'll think so, too.
Jason: A.J. Was here?
Courtney: Look, he knows that we slept together. I didn't confirm it, but he knows. That's why he started calling me names.
Jason: I don't -- i don't care if A.J. Knows. I don't care what A.J. Thinks. I can't change what A.J. Said, but there's no way that you should feel ashamed for what happened between us.
Courtney: I don't feel ashamed. And you know what? I'm not sorry. I'm just glad that you came back.
Courtney: Until recently, A.J. And i, we loved each other. And now everything is just so -- it's just ugly and spiteful. How does that happen?
Jason: I don't know. Do you -- I mean, do you still love him?
Courtney: I loved the idea of a.J., You know, the man he pretended to be. I'm not sure that I ever really did love him. You know, I loved the things that he said to me and the look in his eyes when he said them, and I -- i felt guilty because even when I was convinced that a.J. and I were going to be together forever, I was attracted to you. And I thought about that kiss in the rain all the time.
Jason: I did, too.
Courtney: Yeah, right. And then you went and got married.
Jason: I mean, brenda asked me to.
Courtney: So it's that easy with you?
Jason: Actually, it was hard. I mean, she had her own reasons for doing it, and I thought it was helping sonny and carly. And it was a good way to keep distance from you, to stop complicating your life.
Courtney: You know, A.J.'S going to be beyond hateful about this divorce. And my dad would go through the roof if he knew that we were seeing each other. Listen, if -- if you don't mind, do you think that maybe we could just keep this between us? I don't think that i'm really ready for people to know that we're seeing each other. And that is assuming that you want to keep seeing me.
Jason: Yeah, I do. I mean, this is just -- you know, this is all new for me. I mean, I don't have a lot of experience with dating. And I am going to make mistakes, so you need to tell me because I don't want to hurt you.
Courtney: You won't.
[They both lean in to kiss each other, his hand goes to the side of her face while hers goes to his chest. It's very sensual.]
