The Mineshaft

jason: You ok?

Courtney: Jason?

Jason: Hey, hey, you ok?  [He helps her sit up]

Courtney: It's --

jason: What hurts? What is it?

[Courtney coughs]

courtney: I can't breathe.

Jason: Ok, just slow down. We're ok. Just sit up. Is that any better?

Courtney: Yeah. A little. Oh, god. I think it's my ribs.

Jason: All right, you think you can climb the ladder?

Courtney: What ladder?

Jason: Ah.  [He gets up to reset the ladder and debris starts to fall again.]

Courtney: Jason?

Jason: We got to get out of here.

Courtney: How'd you find me?

Jason: Ric owns this mine. He named it after sonny's mother.

Courtney: Why would ric name a mine after sonny's mother?

Jason: I don't know, he's crazy. Come on. Come on, let's go.  [he helps her stand]

Courtney: Oh, wait.

Jason: Be careful.

Courtney: Did sonny meet ric?

Jason: Yeah, in martha's vineyard.

Courtney: Sonny's alone?

Jason: Well, ric didn't leave him much choice. Come on, we got to get out of here. Hold on, hold on.  [He shields her with his body from more falling debris]

Courtney: Ok.

Jason: You ok?

Courtney: Yeah, let's go.

Jason: [he helps her up the ladder] Be careful. Ok, hold on to something. Courtney, hold on!

[Courtney coughs]

jason: All right, all right. Hold on, hold on.

The Hospital

Courtney: I'm all right, jason.

Jason: No, courtney, I'm not going to leave you here alone.

Courtney: I'm fine, ok? They'll do some tests. If there's anything wrong with me, they'll treat me. Come on, you need to go be with sonny.

Carly: Oh, courtney. Are you ok, honey? [she hugs her]

Jason: Just be careful. Her ribs are bruised. She might have broken something. She needs to take a lot of tests.

Courtney: Ok, I -- i know i'm going to be fine, all right? I'll take the tests.

Carly: Thanks for calling me.

Jason: Any word from sonny yet?

Carly: Nothing. Will you go after him, jase, please? I will stay with courtney, I promise you.

Jason: All right, i'll let you know when I find him.  [Jason kisses Courtney on the cheek and leaves]

Carly: Thank you.

Carly: I've got a bad feeling about this.

Later…

Courtney: Why do i have to stay overnight?

Doctor: We need to keep you here for observation. I'll go check on your room.

Courtney: Ok, thank you, doctor.

Carly: Why haven't we heard from sonny?

Courtney: Hey, carly, sonny knows how to handle ric, and now he's got jason for backup.

Carly: I just want this to be over with.

Martha’s Vineyard

[Sonny has a gun to Ric]

Sonny: You violated my wife, you blackmailed her. There are a thousand reasons why I should kill you. But what you did to carly -- that's why you're going to die, ric.

Ric: You wanted me dead before i was born, so go ahead, finish the job.

[Door flies open and Jason comes in]

jason: Sonny, courtney's all right. Do it.

Ric: Do it.

Jason: [yelling] Shoot him! Your sister could have died because of him!

Sonny: I can't do it.

Jason: [whips out his gun and points it at Ric] I'll do it.

Ric: Ok, sonny, tell him.

Sonny: No.

Ric: You'd better tell him. Sonny!

Sonny: That scum is my brother.

Jason: He isn't mine.

[Gunshot]
