Courtney's Hotel Room

Carly: Ok. So, I'm going to stop by the restaurant and check on the reception prep, and then I'm going to go by the park. Is there anything that you need?

Courtney: Well, my -- my bouquet would be nice, but --

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Maybe that's it. I don't know.

[Jason sighs]

Jason: No -- see, I knew it. What are you doing? What are you planning?

Carly: What?

Jason: How are you going to ruin Courtney’s big day? What are you going to do?

Carly: I'm the matron of honor! Why does everyone always suspect me of ulterior motives?

Courtney: Gee, I wonder. Hmm.

Carly: What -- how'd you even know I was here?

Jason: I didn’t. I came to see you.

Carly: You know, Courtney knows. She's completely aware that Jax is not my favorite person, but I'm not marrying him. She is, and bottom line, sometimes you have to show up for your friends no matter what.

Jason: I hope you mean that.

Carly: Oh, my God.

Jason: No, really, I really hope you mean that.

Carly: Wait, you're going to give me a complex. All right, you know what? I'm going to go do those errands.

Courtney: Ok, you do that.

[Carly leaves]

Jason: Looks like you're getting the wedding you always dreamed of.

Courtney: You know I loved our wedding, too.

Jason: That was good. You know, not big, not a lot of people.

Courtney: Yeah, well, it was exactly who we were then.

Jason: So much has changed, you know?

Courtney: Yeah.

Jason: You have.

Courtney: Yeah, a lot.

Jason: Is that because of Jax?

Courtney: Mostly. Jax is -- well, he's taught me to enjoy life. You know, live in the moment. Not to anticipate disaster.

Jason: That's good. I hope -- I hope he can keep giving you what you need.

Courtney: I'm really glad that you came.

Courtney: Sorry. I'm just an emotional wreck right now.

Jason: It's ok.

Courtney: So -- um -- did you just come by here to wish me good luck, or was there something else?

Jason: Oh, yeah. Actually -- um -- it's about Michael.

Courtney: Is he all right?

Jason: He's still confused over what happened and he's been having a lot of nightmares.

Courtney: Well, I'm not surprised, considering what he's been through -- being kidnapped, having to deal with A.J. and his sick lies, thinking that his mother committed murder. I mean, God.

Jason: I know, and I think he should have professional help.

Courtney: Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.

Jason: But the thing is, you know, we need someone we can trust to honor Michael’s confidence no matter what he says, ok, and I was just hoping you might be able to find somebody or help us through your foundation.

Courtney: Yeah, absolutely. I -- I'll go through my files, I'll give you some names -- good ones, and discreet, too.

Jason: Thanks. You know, it would probably be a little weird if I was at your wedding.

Courtney: I understand.

Jason: Yeah. Good luck.

Courtney: Thanks, Jason.

Jason: What are you doing here?

Jax: I -- I own the place. Haven't you heard?

Jason: You shouldn't be getting drunk before your wedding.

Jax: Oh, there's not going to be a wedding.

Jax: I know that you were downstairs with Courtney.

Jason: You're right. Had nothing to do with you.

Jax: Yeah, I -- I agree, and that's -- that's why I'm here. Because I realize that it has nothing to do with me. Courtney's still in love with you and she'll never get over it.

Jason: Ok, Jax, what are you talking about? She's downstairs right now getting ready for your wedding.

Jax: I'm sorry, you didn't hear me. I'm done with Courtney. You can have her.

Jason: You are going to marry Courtney today if I have to drag you to the park myself.
