[Jason and Michael are playing in the background]

Courtney: Pizza's ready. It's michael's favorite.

Sonny: Pepperoni and black olives?

Courtney: Hopefully, he eats.

Sonny: It's carly's favorite, too. It's amazing to me that I end up in a house where pizza's king. Jason's helping out a lot, you know. He doesn't put a lot of pressure on michael. Doesn't wait for him to tell him, you know, who took his mother. I do that.

Courtney: Hey, he's better already since we brought him home, you know? He'll remember. And when he does, he'll tell us.

Sonny: The problem is patience isn't one of my strong suits. Especially when my wife's life's on the line.

[Knock on door]

scott: Scott baldwin.

Courtney: Yeah, yeah. Sweetie, it's time for dinner. Come on. Have some pizza. Yeah.

Scott: Oh, great, i got the both of you.

Sonny: Do you have word on my wife?

Scott: Well, this might relate. Javier mendez was found knifed in the alley.

Sonny: Why do i care?

Scott: Well, if you thought that he kidnapped carly, and you sent jason to kill him, well, then we're talking about murder.

Scott: Mendez works for alcazar, and you think alcazar is behind carly's abduction. So you do what you do best -- kill people.

Sonny: Do you have any proof of this? Eyewitness? Shred of evidence? Anything, you know --

scott: It's just a theory based on years of experience.

Sonny: Oh.

[Phone rings]

scott: Baldwin here.

Andy: Luke spencer was spotted heading for spoon island.

Scott: I'll be right there.

Sonny: Was that about carly?

Scott: You know, there's other things going on in this town other than the whereabouts of your wandering wife.  [He leaves]

Sonny: One day, i'm going to kill that idiot just for the fun of it.

Jason: Hmm. It's not worth the bullets. But, you know, it might not be a bad idea to call in a favor from one of the judges on the payroll. Get him publicly, officially reprimanded, a court order to stay away from you.

Sonny: Baldwin may have given away more than he meant to. He may lead us straight to carly.

[Michael is listening from the kitchen]

Jason: You know, the man who called me on my cell last night had an accent. Might have been javier.

Sonny: You say he choked off mid sentence?

Jason: Something could have happened to him.

[Sonny sighs]

sonny: All right. Let's say alcazar grabs carly, right?

Jason: All right.

Sonny: Javier's in on it. Hears about the reward. He says, the hell with alcazar, he goes for the bucks. Before he can even get off the phone, alcazar --

[sonny makes a clicking sound]

sonny: Does him in.

Jason: All right, alcazar is a business man.

Sonny: Right.

Jason: If he's got carly, he wants something in return. Seems to me he would have called with his demands by now.

Sonny: Well, what are you thinking?

Jason: There's one person who'd really want to hurt you and make you crazy with fear. Ric took her. He grabbed her at the church, and he's holding carly now to get revenge against you.

Later…

Sonny: Ok, buddy, listen to me. Jason and I, we have to go out for a little while, but I'm going to be back as soon as i can, and courtney's going to stay here with you. Maybe you can get her to read a chapter in your new book. What do you think?

Jason: [gives him the ball] And I'm trusting you to hold on to this, buddy. We're going to play tomorrow, ok?

Michael: Are you going to find mommy?

Sonny: Ok -- um -- we're going to try to find mommy, right? But I'm not going to lie to you. I'm not going to -- I can't promise you, buddy, ok, that I'm going to bring mommy home tonight.

Panic Room

Carly: Ok. When we get out of here, your daddy is going to let us eat whatever we want. We'll have potato chips and pizza and ice cream. Whatever we want, right?

[she sees Jason through the monitors]

Carly: Jason. Thank god. He found us.

Carly: Come on, jason. Come take us home.

[Courtney is reading to Michael]

Courtney: "And the hallway was long and dark, lined with doors on either side, and every door looked like every other. There was no way to tell which one led to the silver room. 'So why didn't i pay closer attention?' He thought."

[Michael has a daydream about the kidnapping]

[Carly screams]

ric: Shh. Shh, shh.

Michael: Mommy, no!

Courtney: Michael? Honey, what's the matter? Hey, did you remember who took your mommy?

Michael: Ric took her.

Panic Room

Carly: Come on, jason. Come on. You know how ric operates. There's no paper trail, no one working with him. Come on, search the walls, jason. Find a way into this hellhole. [Jason goes to leave]Don't -- don't -- jason, don't. Don't go! Jason, don't go! I'm in here, jason!

[Carly slams her metal dinner trey into the tv monitors, electrocutes her self so she passes out and causes the lights to go out]

Jason: Carly, is that you?

[Liz comes in with a gun]

Elizabeth: Don't make me shoot you.
